Democrat asked to lead group in Pledge of Allegiance but doesn't know the words

Covo: she knows LGBTQ but not the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag

A Florida Democrat whose campaign photo shows an American flag behind her, does not know the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag. This woman, Sabina Covo was supposed to be a trailblazer for her party last Thursday, but ended up being an ignoramus in American culture. 

Every school child is taught, or at least used to be taught, the 31-word pledge [if you don't eliminate 'under G_d'], and if you are going to use the American flag as your backdrop and symbol of sorts, you might want to know the Pledge of Allegiance. But it isn't her fault--she's an America-hating Democrat who like her colleagues, only pretend to love the nation.  

The event, which should have embarrassed her, occurred at the opening of the Miami-Dade County Commission meeting.

Covo a former "reporter" has a squeaker of an election in which she barely received a plurality of votes among the 13 candidates on Feb. 27 for an open commissioner seat in District 2. The rules state that the candidate with the most votes won, and there will be no runoff.

Covo will hold that seat for 8 months until the next regular election takes place in November.

Florida Politics reporter Jesse Scheckner noted, “Covo’s win marked the first Democratic victory in the Sunshine State under the new party leadership of Nikki Fried.” Meanwhile, the Democrats got their butts handed to them in the 2022 midterm elections.

In an embarrassing moment for Fried, other socialists, and Drag Queen Story Hour supporters, Covo did not know the country’s Pledge of Allegiance.

“Commissioner Covo, could you lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance, please,” someone asked her before the meeting began.

After some inaudible dialogue, someone said, “You don’t know it? OK.”

OK? It's OK that an elected official sworn to uphold the U.S.Constitution doesn't know the Pledge of Allegiance of the flag the Constitution represents? What are you gonna tell me next, that Abe Lincoln and Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. were Democrats?

Giving her shade, the entire room recited the pledge for her.

Is anyone really surprised a leftist doesn't know the Pledge of Allegiance? But this idiot can probably tell us about all 57 varieties of sexual identification.
