NYPD: Man threatened, made anti-Asian slurs to undercover cop

The NYPD are still in business in spite of the left's attempt at abolishing the police forces across the nation, and they are cracking down on anti-Asian hate crimes. Perhaps one day they'll also crack down on anti-Semitic hate crimes, but let's not quibble.

The NYPD is sending undercover cops into Asian communities to stem the surge of hate crimes and they caught a man who made threats and anti-Asian remarks to an undercover officer assigned to the hate crimes task force.

Juvian Rodriguez, 35, with a matching IQ, was arrested Friday afternoon after the alleged confrontation near Penn Station in Manhattan.

A message was sent Saturday to the lawyer who represented Rodriguez at a court appearance Friday. No home phone number for Rodriguez could be found.

According to news accounts, when reporters outside a police station asked Rodriguez for comment, he replied only, "Your mother!" Rodriguez has the mental capacity of a turnip as you can easily see.

Police report that Rodriguez intentionally engaged with the undercover cop, told him to "go back to China" before he ended up in a "graveyard," and threatened to slap and stab him in the face.

He is facing misdemeanor charges that include menacing and harassment as hate crimes, and aggravated harassment related to a person's race, ancestry or certain other characteristics, court records show.

This arrest comes amid a national push by the legacy media to focus on anti-Asian hate crimes with the predictable result of creating an increase in anti-Asian hate crimes. The NYPD recently announced it would be increasing patrols and adding undercover cops in areas with a significant number of Asian Americans. A good place we hope they consider is Manhattan's Chinatown.

"The next person you target, whether it’s through speech, menacing activity or anything else, walking along a sidewalk or on a train platform, may be a plainclothes New York City police officer. So think twice," Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said at the time.
