The woke leftist socialist sent $5,000 to several fellow Democrats who will be facing tough competition in 2022: Reps. Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA), Elissa Slotkin (MI), and Conor Lamb (PA). They have either declined the money or reported to have committed to returning them according to a POLITICO report.
These Democrats are worried that being tied to a leftist lunatic would possibly hurt them with non-lunatic swing voters.
Comrade Cortez's payments reportedly bypassed the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) which isn't as far-left as AOC . . . yet.

The not-so bright staff at the DCCC were naive to the implications of tying a commie to the party's most vulnerable members of the House.
DCCC spokesman Chris Hayden called the money transfers a "miscommunication," while others called it a total screwup.
"We appreciate Rep. Ocasio-Cortez's ongoing commitment to a Democratic majority," said Hayden. "Due to a miscommunication, some transfers were made in error, but that has been addressed."
"The GOP has spent four years saying the front-liners are all socialists. Now they’ve got the receipts to prove it," a consultant who works with swing-seat Democrats told the outlet. "Anyone telling themselves this won’t be in campaign ads is in denial."
