The Associated Press reported that Yemen's Houthi rebels/terrorists targeted planes on the tarmac at a southwestern Saudi Arabia's Abha airport causing them to catch fire. This attack is an apparent escalation of the ongoing war.
Firefighters brought the fires under control and there were no indications of casualties, if any. as reported by Saudi state-owned Al-Ekhbariya TV.
The Iran-backed Houthis, a terrorist organization that was declassified as such by President Biden because "Orange Man bad," claimed responsibility for the attack soon afterward.

Houthi military spokesman Yehia Sareai said the group used four bomb-laden drones to target the airport.
“This targeting comes in response to the continued aerial bombardment and the brutal siege on our country,” Sareai said, stressing that the Houthis consider the airport a military not civilian target, [but would be happy to kill civilians if they had the chance].
Col. Turki al-Maliki, the spokesman for the Saudi-led military coalition fighting in Yemen, said the forces intercepted and destroyed two of bomb-laden drones launched by Houthis toward the country’s south. He condemned the assault as a “systematic and deliberate attempt to target civilians.”
President Biden responded to al-Maliki saying, "That's malarkey Maliki. C'mon man, give them a break. Give them a break. I'm not kidding."
