White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki apparently isn't a fan of the military and has no qualms about showing it. This is not a very bright look nor a path any press secretary of an American president would take, especially if they have more than two brain cells to rub together. But the American public has no proof that Psaki does indeed possess the requisite neurological endowment to not say stupid things, as does her boss.
The fiery yet boring redhead is facing strong backlash for a rather stupid remark that appeared to mock a branch of the military, speaking at a press conference Tuesday. She was asked to apologize for the "disgraceful" comment.
It went like this: Psaki was asked about what President Joe Biden's plans were regarding the Space Force and whether he planned to keep this new branch of the military.
Her knee-jerk, anti-Trump response seemed to come from someplace other than her brain and further south than her hips. Here it is:
“Wow. Space Force. It’s the plane of today/ It is an interesting question. I am happy to check with our Space Force point of contact. I’m not sure who that is. I will find out and see if we have any update on that.”The poser's comments were apparently a reference to previous questions from "reporters" about whether the Biden administration would change the colors on Air Force One after they asked about Biden's favorite ice cream flavor.
Steve Guest put up the video and tweeted:
“It’s concerning to see the Biden administration’s press secretary blatantly diminish an entire branch of our military as the punchline of a joke, which I’m sure China would find funny,” Rogers said. “The Space Force was passed with near unanimous support in Congress, the same type of ‘unity’ President Biden is supposedly working towards. Jen Psaki needs to immediately apologize to the men and women of the Space Force for this disgraceful comment.”
"Wow, Space Force– it's the plane of today." — Jen PsakiRep. Mike Rogers (R-AL), the House Armed Services Committee’s top Republican, demanded that Psaki apologized for the cretinous remark.
How condescending can Jen Psaki get? pic.twitter.com/hiadBB7ydz

And yes, Rogers is correct--crap like this is fodder for China. In fact, Xi must be laughing in his bowl of Sum Dum Jo for appointing this incompetent to the position.
An angry Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL) said that Psaki's remarks indicate that this administration doesn't plan to take the security threat posed by China seriously. “This is just another example of the Biden administration not taking China seriously while demeaning the incredible work of Space Force personnel.”
Psaki has never served in the military but she knows someone who might have.
Psaki’s obvious lack of knowledge about what the administration’s plans were on the Space Force and a lot of other issues comes after a report was published alleging that Biden’s communications team has been reaching out to reporters, prior to press conferences to learn about what they are going to ask in advance. This sounds a lot like when Donna Brazile gave Hillary Clinton the questions she was going to get on the presidential debate against Trump.
But Brazile was never held accountable for her actions and Fox News even pays her for her "expert" political analysis.
Psaki later issued a short, insincere statement in apparent reference to her mocking a branch of the U.S. military in which she didn't apologize and Donald Trump.
Psaki wrote, “We look forward to the continuing work of Space Force and invite the members of the team to come visit us in the briefing room anytime to share an update on their important work.”
Maybe it would serve her better if she actually learned the names of those in charge of Space Force and its mission before she makes fun of that branch of our military.
