Biden calls China our competitor--tell that to the Uighurs

When describing the relationship of the U.S. with China, President Joe Biden referred to the Communist nation as our "competition." 

Forget the fact that China is insidiously building up their military and soon they will be on par with ours if they've not already reached that point. Forget the fact that China has called us their enemy. 

China is committing an atrocity and nobody seems to care. Certainly not those in our country who make billions of dollars from trade with them. And then there's the NBA who will never say anything negative about China because of profits, yet take a knee during our national anthem because, well, we aren't China.

The video below by France 24 [in English] is a year old but sheds light on what Communist China led by President Xi has done to the Muslim Uighur community in Xinjiang, in the North West part of the country. They face ongoing discrimination, violence and imprisonment at the hands of Chinese authorities, despite the harsh spotlight cast upon the country.

Very little was known about the Uighurs until recently. In fact, Uighurs had been categorized as "terrorists" and "separatists" and China claims that these people have "volunteered" to attend "reeducation camps," sounding a lot like Democrats suggesting that Republicans need to be "reprogrammed." 

Suffice it to say, Uighurs are one of the most oppressed peoples in the world as China continues trying to destroy their language, religion, traditions and their culture in general. The young Uighur women have been subjected to exile, forced labor, and many have been beaten, tortured and violently raped, as the video explains.

No group of people deserve such horrible treatment, and no group of people deserve to be hated based on their immutable characteristics. Yet that's exactly what the Left is doing and all of us need to wake up, as opposed to woke up.

China is not our competitor, they told us who they are. China is our enemy, not our friend, and worse, they are a nation led by an evil totalitarian.
