George Takei shows his true character: hopes Marco Rubio suffers vaccine side effects

Former Star Trek actor George Takei thinks that by being an ass, he's being relevant. On Sunday, the has-been went on Twitter and tweeted what he really thinks about half the country when he said that "there is still hope" Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will have an allergic reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine that he received over the weekend.

“There are very, very few instances of known allergic reactions to the Covid-19 vaccine, but Marco Rubio has always thought of himself as one in a million so there’s still hope,”  Takei tweeted to his 3.2 million Trekky followers.

Rubio was offered the Pfizer vaccine as part of a government continuity plan according to Politico. The Florida senator posted a picture of his COVID-19 inoculation on Twitter and said he was confident in its safety and efficacy.
I know I looked away from the needle

And yes, I know I need a tan

But I am so confident that the #Covid19 vaccine is safe & effective that I decided to take it myself pic.twitter.com/TQbog6fu7i

The Food and Drug Administration has been investigating five reports of serious allergic reactions experienced in recipients of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in the massive rollout of the drug.

Takei's mean-spirited rhetoric was nothing more than a disgusting revelation of his character and hatred of Republicans, people who think differently than he does.

Perhaps he's really a Klingon disguised as a moron.
