Marley Barberian was caught in the act of shoplifting from a Target store in Palm Beach County and arrested earlier this year. While in jail, the 23-year-old claimed a Sheriff's Office deputy groped her at the store where she was arrested and raped her on the road while on the way to jail.
"She said he pulled her pants down and raped her on the side of the road after he pulled over to complete some paperwork he got from the police department, the arrest report notes," CBS 12 reported. "She then told authorities the deputy who raped her drove her and dropped her off at the jail. She also accused the deputy of groping her earlier in the pat-down during her arrest at the Target."
The woman claimed the deputy who sexually assaulted her was a "big white male, bald or with little hair, and green eyes." She also claimed he put his gun in her mouth "because that probably turned him on."
Turns out the wench was lying. It was a female officer who conducted the pat-down, according to another male deputy. He also said the accused officer only drove her to Greenacres police station and not to the Palm Beach County Jail, when the attack was alleged to have occurred. And it was a female deputy who took Ms. Barberian from the police station to the county jail.
"Investigators also looked at the in-car video and learned that there were no stops from the time the accused deputy drove Barberian from the Target to the Greenacres Police Department," CBS 12 reported. "Other surveillance video showed a female deputy escorting her into the jail and booking her there, the arrest report says."
Barberian was charged with making a false reort of sexual battery, a false report of a crime, and perjury outside of an official proceeding.
She is being held on a $3,000 bond.
This isn't the first false allegation against police officers alleged to have committed rape. Several weeks ago in Bellevue, WA, another woman made a false claim against a police chief. That woman has not been arrested as yet, and she may not be due to mental illness. She claimed the police chief arranged a sexual rendezvous over an "adult sex website" but it turns out the chief didn't live at the address mentioned in the emails at the time and DNA also ruled him out.
Women who make false allegations against men only hurt women with legitimate claims. You would think the Kavanaugh case for the confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court would have made this clear.
