Male professor barely escapes the death sentence for elevator joke

Sharoni is the one on the left
A male chauvinist pig of a professor had the gall, the utter audacity to make a sexist joke in a crowded elevator in the presence of a woman with a useless degree in women's and gender studies.

Richard Ned Lebow [no relation to the late, great Fred Lebow of the New York Road Runner's Club and NYC Marathon fame] is a professor of international political theory at King's [as opposed to Queen's] College in gun-violent London. He was in a crowded elevator when someone asked him what floor he needed to get off on, according to the leftist Washington Post

Lebow told the time-honored joke often heard on elevators at large department stores. "Ladies' lingerie," he joked.

Unfortunately, he was attending the International Studies Association (ISA) conference in San Francisco at the time the joke was relaunched and Simona Sharoni happened to be aboard the lift.

Sharoni is a professor of women's and gender studies at Merrimack College in Massachusetts, where people under her tutelage hope to learn how to be better women or genders they believe they are. So in order to maintain her relevance in the academic community, Sharoni filed a complaint with the association several hours after those venomous words left those white man lips.

The association found that Lebow violated the group's code of conduct and he was sentenced to death at the hands of a gaggle of white lesbians who identified as Albino Black women.

Lebow even sent Sharoni an email telling her "I certainly had no desire to insult women or to make you feel uncomfortable." He also suggested that she may have "interpreted my remark out of context,"which pissed her off even more for his failure to grovel and whimper.

"Like you," he added, "I am strongly opposed to the exploitation, coercion or humiliation of women. As such evils continue, it seems to me to make sense to direct our attention to real offenses, not those that are imagined or marginal. By making a complaint to ISA that I consider frivolous--and I expect, will be judged this way by the ethics committee--you may be directing time and effort away from the real offenses that trouble us both."

What a whimpy slag.

So of course, the ISA committee found fault with Lebow because he correctly characterized Sharoni's complaint as "frivolous." He should have realized that leftist feminists have absolutely no sense of humor.

On the bright side, he refused to follow the committee's instructions to issue an "unequivocal apology." Bravo--your gonads must be proud.

Lebow told colleagues that this is "a horrifying and chilling example of political correctness" that "encourages others to censor their remarks for fear of retribution."

The professor finally woke up.

Sharoni decided to continue being an ass. She told The Chronicle, "For decades, women and other marginalized groups in the academy had to put up with white men who decided what counts as a violation and what is "frivolous. As someone who has dedicated her life to confronting sexism (and other forms of discrimination and oppression) in academic spaces, I cannot and will not remain silent when misogyny is at play."

Oppression? Western women now have made incredible inroads in society. They hold political positions, head large corporations, and many have real professorships that teach others actual skills that go beyond complaining about something they already have.

Lebow faces sanctions from ISA if he doesn't grovel by May 15th.

ISA refused to comment to my investigative reporter, Vinny Boombots due to his being a white guy.
