Deported 20 times, Mexican man convicted of sexual assault and more

Sergio Jose Martinez, 31, sexually assaulted a woman on her way home and attacked another in a parking lot the same day in July. This came just one week after he was released from jail for interfering with police.

Martinez had also been  deported 20 times.

He pleaded guilty to 10 counts including the sexual assaults, kidnapping, sodomy, first-degree burglary, robbery, and second-degree assault.

Martinez was sentenced to only 35 years in prison in a Portland courtroom, KOIN reported.

In the photo, you can see the scum-wafer grinning. He gave one last parting shot to his female victims' relatives saying, "See all you guys in Hell."
Deported 20 times, returns to Oregon's
sanctuary city

The first attack happened early on the morning of July 24th, when Martinez entered the Portland home of a 65-year-old woman through an open window. He wielded a metal rod and told the woman to get down on the ground. He bound and blindfolded her, threatened to murder her, and then sexually assaulted her.

He stole her purse and car. She called police from a neighbor's home and they found her car and put it under surveillance.

But while they were watching the car, Martinez stalked his second victim in a parking garage. He approached her, carrying a knife, made her get into her car and got in after her. She tried to escape but he grabbed her and slammed her head to the ground.

The woman called out for help and a passerby approached.

Martinez tried to steal her car, then fled on foot when it failed to start. Police caught him minutes later.

In court, two relatives of one of the victims, and one of the victims herself, spoke during the sentencing phase Friday. Martinez sat there with grinning much of the time to cover up his anxiety.

A brother of one victim told Martinez: "Sergio, no sentencing is enough. I rather you rot in Hell."

Martinez had been released from a Portland jail the week prior to the attacks despite a request from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement for the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office to hold him so that ICE could take him into custody.

But Oregon became our first sanctuary state for criminals in 1987.

Fortunately, neither of these women were killed, but make no mistake, they have been scarred for life.

The good news is that in 2052, Martinez will be deported back to Mexico.
