This may be due to the fact that they're largely comprised of illegal immigrants who, because of this status, must be misunderstood and need to be given a chance at the American dream.
Trump's speech on Long Island, New York, where the gang members have gone on a violent rampage, brutally killing 17 people over the last 18 months, highlighted a plan to crack down on the gang violence and enforce immigration policies to prevent these scum wafers from illegally entering the United States.
"[MS-13 has] transformed peaceful parks and beautiful quiet neighborhoods into blood-stained killing fields. They're animals. We cannot tolerate as a society the spilling of innocent, young, wonderful vibrant people . . . " The audience cheered in approval, in spite of his sentence structure, because he actually wants to do something for the American people.
It sucks to spill people, and POTUS is very very keen on not spilling them.
Despite Mr. Trump's pledge to stop the killings and stop the spillings and keep America safe again from gang members, several leftist outlets was somehow making MS-13 "stronger" with his words.
How that's possible is anybody's guess, but the left would have something negative to say even if Trump cured Alzheimer's, "Now all those poor old folks who had Alzheimer's are going to remember all the terrible times in their lives. He should have left it alone."
Crappy News Network (CNN) said Trump's speech was "emboldening" MS-13, allowing the group to more readily recruit members. Yes, just like saying ISIS is a horrible, violent and disgusting organization will get people to turn to orthodox Islam and go on beheading sprees.
Neurotic CNN leftist Dan Lieberman interviewed two gang members, who one day hope to get their photos on Rolling Stone magazine like Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber. The gang members complained to Lieberman that "murders from MS-13 don't only hurt one family, but hurt both."
"I started growing up in that type of neighborhood. I didn't really get love from my family. Where I grew up, [MS-13] were there, almost all of them," one gang member told Lieberman. "They seemed like really nice people. They were there for me through tough times [like when he wanted to have a classmate killed with a bat for not letting him cheat from his answer sheet they killed the guy for him]."
One media outlet, Vox, tried to twist Trump's words to make it seem as if he believed all illegal immigrants were "subhuman."
It's really disgusting.
Slate's Jamell Bouie said Trump's words on MS-13 and illegal immigration are used to "make white people afraid."
So Jamell's default position, like most leftists who have no solutions to actually offer for any problem is to pull the race card.
Hopefully, liberals and independents will see through the bull crap, but I'm not counting on it anytime soon. They don't get the news the left-leaning media doesn't want them to see.
