Iron Dome intercepts 3 rockets from Sinai headed towards Eilat

Three rockets were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome defense system while on their way towards Eilat from the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. A fourth rocket was not intercepted and landed in a vacant field. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the rockets, but five Israelis were taken to the hospital due to shock.

Sinai Province, an ISIS-affiliated group that normally targets Egyptian government and army institutions, is sometimes known for firing at Israel just for the hell of it. They cannot suck enough.

The Palestinian terror group and friend to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, provides medical care to the Sinai Province jihadists and also helps the ISIS affiliate smuggle weapons into Egypt, according to The Times of Israel

In January 2016, Arik Agassi reported for The Tower about the alliance between the Hamassholes and Sinai Province, which includes funding and military training. The alliance serves as an important part of Iran's plan to establish its hegemony throughout the Middle East.

The stifled rocket attack near Eilat occurred just hours after a Syrian tank shell landed in the Golan Heights which was met by the IDF targeting a Syrian missile outpost.
