Trump meets Comey at White House

President Trump met with FBI Director James Comey during a reception for law enforcement officials and first responders at the White House.

Trump joked with the crowd saying that Comey had "become more famous than me," which made me feel as uncomfortable I do when Michael, from "The Office" says something uncomfortable like that. But that's just Trump being Trump.

Comey shook hands with the President as well as VP Pence.

Some Democrats blamed Comey for Clinton's wonderful defeat in the presidential election, making her a two-time loser. Even Hillary had the lack of class to blame Comey rather than her incompetence and poor campaign strategy and disdain for the "Deplorables."

Earlier this month the Department of Justice Inspector General opened an investigation into Comey's handling of the Clinton email case. Hopefully, the investigation will further uncover the truth about Clinton's arrogant use of a private and clearly illegal email server, rather than to serve as a way of getting back at Comey.

Trump briefly addressed the law enforcement personnel at the meeting along with other agency heads who helped with the inauguration festivities. President Trump said his swearing-in was "such a success and such a safety success and we want to thank you all."
