UPDATE: Attack at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul

The moment the blast went off
UPDATE: The death toll from the jihadist attack at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey has risen to at least 36. Some sources put the death toll "nearing 50."

President Obama has not addressed the attack as yet due to the lack of facts about the responsible party. He no longer has referred to ISIS as the JV team, but it is not yet clear if ISIS is responsible for it. All the earmarks point to the terror group, however.

Hillary Clinton referred to the attackers as "radical jihadists." The whole notion of jihad is 'radical' in the sense that it calls for war against infidels. A more accurate term would be 'Islamic terrorists.'

Donald Trump has said that "something is going on that is really, really bad." It's a good thing he reminded us that it's bad, but neither he nor Hillary have been specific about the problem.

We need solutions, not a template whenever these attacks occur.

BREAKING: The latest information is that 3 suicide bombers have detonated their explosive vests at Ataturk Airport, killing at least 28 and wounding 60 others, 6 of whom are in critical condition.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, and based upon the weapons used it is likely the American left will not discuss the attack as it fails to fit their anti Second Amendment agenda.

Vasip Sahin, Istanbul's provincial governor, confirmed the death toll to NTV, Turkey's state-run Anadolu news agency.

Initial reports said that there were two suicide bombers but later changed to three. Sahin's statement could not immediately be reconciled.

"According to the information I was given, a terrorist at the international terminal entrance first opened fire with a Kalashnikov and then blew himself up.," Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag told the news agency.

Kalashnikov rifles are considered weapons of war in the United States, as are suicide vests, so nothing like that can ever happen here.

One official said that the attacker blew themselves to small, bite-size pieces once police began shooting at them. Another official said the bombers detonated their vests before passing through the X-ray security checkpoint.

Police sealed the terminal and no flights were able to take off or land at that time. Some flights bound for Ataturk were re-routed. Roads around the airport were also sealed off after the attack.

President Obama was briefed about the attack by his Homeland Security and Counterterrorism advisor Lisa Monaco in Arizona.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said she was "awaiting a briefing" on the attacks and is preparing to send love notes and Happy Ramadan cards if the Islamic State claims responsibility. Ms. Lynch believes that "all you need is love." Ms. Lynch added that she "certainly we will be looking into it."

That's so reassuring to hear. i hope they get the nice cards before they plan another attack. They need to know we care about their feelings. And if we're lucky, we can help some of them find jobs.

John Kerry spoke in Aspen, CO saying that Daesh is losing and they are desperate. He failed to address the ideology behind the "why" someone would be willing to martyr him- or herself up for jihad.

This administration clown car is almost out of gas, unless Clinton wins the election.
