Cryin' and Lyin'

Cryin' Trump claims Lyin' Ted is a member of the establishment and the GOP insiders are only using him to get an open convention.

Cruz is as much a member of the establishment as Trump is a member of the Beth Shalom Synagogue and Bernie Sanders is a lifetime member of the NRA.

Trump's less than classy attack against Cruz came when he got his billionaire butt kicked in Wisconsin. That isn't likely to happen in New York after what Cruz said about New Yorkers, but perhaps he can keep Cryin' Trump from getting all the delegates.

So now the Trump campaign is trying to discourage anyone voting for Cruz and keeps begging Kasich to drop out of the race because he's taking away Trump's votes. Trump would like to score his touchdown on the five yard line, but that isn't the way the game is played.

"Ted Cruz is worse than a puppet--he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump," the campaign's statement said.

Trump's national spokeswoman and clairvoyant, Katrina Pierson, predicted that the GOP establishment has no intention of supporting Cruz at the convention, and instead, plans to "support a woman--oh wait--a man, yes, a man whose roots originated in Ireland. Someone with dark hair . . . a family man. A glass of water, please."

Pierson drank the water, closed her eyes, and continued: "Their loyalty is not with Senator Cruz. However, Senator Cruz has now made himself that Trojan horse to push this to a contested convention. This is going to be a very serious problem if Senator Cruz continues to go down this path, and then neither Trump or Cruz becomes the nominee."

Both Lyin' Ted and Cryin' Trump agree that if this happened, the voters would revolt.

Cruz expanded on this notion: "This fevered pipe dream of Washington that at the convention they would parachute in some white knight who will save the Washington establishment, it is nothing less than a pipe dream. It ain't gonna happen. If it did happen, the people would quite rightly revolt."

Cruz has the momentum while Trump has the sour grapes and needs to acquire something called grace with class. But that's a tough thing for a full-blown narcissist to acquire.
