Douglas County, Oregon-- A 20 year old man shot and killed 13 students and wounded others at Umpqua Community College. According to the NY Times, he allegedly asked people what their religion is, and shot them when they answered. The police were able to confront and "neutralize" him.
Ironically, we still don't know the shooter's religion. I have my suspicions, but it's too soon to know.
The shooting began at 10:38 am local time.
I suspect Obama and Hillary are relieved that the media has taken the focus off of them, but I bet Putin, Assad, and Gowdy don't lose focus on what they're doing.

UPDATE: The shooter's name has been learned. It is an American/English sounding name, but no other information was released. In spite of local law enforcement in Douglas County requesting the shooter's name remain anonymous, all of the media, including Fox News, waited half a nanosecond to broadcast it. I will respect the request, but if you really, really need to know, just go to any media outlet.
President Obama used the bully pulpit to push for gun control, doing so while the bodies of the victims were still warm. He is an insult to the nation and a lighted match to the Constitution. He cannot leave the presidency fast enough.
