Media discusses how 20 research scientists and academics have asked our "president" to prosecute global warming skeptics under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Although the RICO act was supposed to be used to go after, well, racketeers and gangsters, liberals have figured out a way to use it to go after everyone they disagree with, such as pro-life groups (aka: anti-killing babies in the womb groups) and now people who think Al Gore and his followers are asshats.
The global warming "feelers" are losing their argument and their desperation has kicked in. They wouldn't be so outspoken if their parents were "pro-choice" (aka: totally down with killing the unborn).
So Democrats in Congress suggested the RICO Act be used to suppress counter opinions from their own. One scumcrumpet congressman actually organized a hunt to drive global warming skeptics from college campuses.
What ever happened to open debate and freedom of ideas?
Michael Bastach's snarky piece in The Daily Caller writes: "The science of global warming is settled, so settled that 20 climate scientists are asking President Barack Obama to prosecute people who disagree with them on the science behind man-made global warming."
Rather than having substantiated evidence to prove their case, global warming geeks need Obama to fight their "scientific" battles for them. If the President prosecutes, then they must be on the correct side of the debate. Oh wait--they don't want a debate. They simply want to shut up the skeptics.
These 'Goreonians' claim the reason to prosecute groups that "have knowingly deceived the American people about the risks of climate change, as a means to forestall America's response to climate change," is somehow for the good of America, as if America was a planet all unto itself.
Meanwhile it is China that is the world's biggest polluter and India is right up there as well. What's the plan, Obama?
Any so-called scientist who has to ask a so-called president to punish those who disagree with their so-called facts, is not a true scientist, but as PJ Media suggests, "they are the "anti-scientists" who are not only trying to deny people who disagree with them a forum to initiate a debate, but are actively seeking to punish apostates because they disagree with many of the near-religious tenets of global warming advocates."
They are frightened misanthropes hiding in their labs and hating those who actually use the scientific method to prove and disprove data.
So far the global warming crowd has harvested predictive data that is about as accurate as Obama's three-point jump shot.
