President Barack Hussein Obama admitted he doesn't yet have a "complete strategy" to defeat ISIS (or, as he calls them, ISIL, because he has to be oppositional on everything that matters) and blames it on the Iraqis, in part, and the Pentagon. He is never at fault for his ineptitude, and if there was a way he could somehow nail George W. for this, he would.
Back in August 2014 he first admitted that he had no strategy to defeat ISIS, so nothing has changed except for those he now blames.
"When a finalized plan is presented to me by the Pentagon, then I will share it with the American people," the empty suit said. "We don't yet have a complete strategy."
By "complete strategy" Mr. Obama was referring to "any strategy to win." He was given several strategies from the Pentagon but refused to take action against ISIS back then, possibly fearing he might accidentally kill someone he is close to or related to.
Obama spoke about the ISIS situation at a press conference during a break at the G7 summit in Germany. After listening to his prattle, it became clear that
a) he has no idea of what he is talking about, or
b) if he had any idea of what he's talking about he is either purposefully trying to allow ISIS to gain more territory and establish a caliphate, or he needs to be impeached and replaced with someone who actually knows how to win a war and not simply leave and declare to the American public that you ended the war.
As it stands, Obama seems to be thinking about adopting a new strategy for speeding up the training and equipping Iraqi security forces so they can be on the front lines against ISIS and provide the terrorist group with American equipment once again. "We're reviewing a range of plans for how we might do that," the suspected Islamic sympathizer said.
A U.S. official explained to the media that Obama was only talking about optimizing the train-and-equip mission, "including integration of Sunni fighters," and stressed that this was in no way an "overall strategy." In other words, Obama is clueless on how to defeat ISIS. In fact, according to him, they aren't even Muslims.
Michael Short (no relation to Martin, but almost as funny) spoke to the comment Obama made last August saying "the fact he still doesn't have a final plan for the deteriorating situation in Iraq is unacceptable."
Except that it has, so far, been acceptable because nothing is being done to not accept it.
Regarding his recent statement at the G7, a military official was upset with Obama's claim that he was waiting for options from the Pentagon. "What the f**k was that? We have given him lots of options, he just hasn't acted on them."
Perhaps military options upset Obama's fragile stomach and reflect his lack of testicular fortitude.
But Pentagon lackey Col. Steve Kissup Warren backed up Obama's statement that he was still awaiting a "finalized plan' from the Pentagon. He added that the SecDef Ash Carter has gotten together a group of "experts" to talk about possible things they could do to "increase support" to Iraqi forces.
Warren gave no timeline when a "finalized plan" would be presented to Obama, but don't hold your breath.
What needs to be done is not something that requires a group of Mensa meeting attendees need to be involved with--Col. Ralph Peters said it nicely: "Kill them all and then kill their goats."
