Al-Baghdadi Pushes into Al-Baghdadi

It looks like the Islamic State has seized al-Baghdadi in Anbar Province, Iraq. This puts the Islamic terrorists only five miles from Ayn al-Asad, the airbase where about 320 U.S. Marines are staying. IS keeps pushing its way into Syria and Iraq as it tries to hook up with other Islamic jihadists.

Since Thursday, about 90 percent of al-Baghdadi fell under IS control, which is a mere 55 miles from Ramadi, the capital. The following day, Iraqi soldiers were able to retake a few government buildings but as is the wont of Iraqi soldiers, they left early Saturday morning to hand back the town to IS. Iraqi soldiers are the New York Mets of war.

IS seems to be using an effective strategy with their two-directional assault. The Iraqi army has been able to thwart all conflict by avoiding it, much the same way as this administration is doing.

Obama's folks at the Pentagon are claiming that this recent assault was the Jay Vee team's first territorial gain in months, but I have my doubts when I consider the source. In fact, on Sunday, a U.S. Central Command spokesman refuted the reports that IS had taken al-Baghdadi, "Al-Baghdadi has not fallen to ISIL or been seized by them." (Note how the term ISIL is used because it's one letter away from Obama's lie about ISIS.)

There was an unsuccessful suicide bomb attack by IS fighters--well, they actually did succeed in blowing themselves up--on the airbase where those Marines are holed up. Most of the Muslim terrorists died in that attack, killed by Iraqi troops and others by the vest explosions, but our Marines are still at risk and Obama does not have a viable plan in place.

They hate Christians
So we currently have a situation where we can anticipate an attack on our Marines. This isn't Benghazi where Hillary Clinton claimed ignorance and that it didn't make a difference why the four people were killed there. This is a war zone and we have people in harm's way. No excuses if Obama allows anything to happen to them without serious support.

Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney said, "We have been given a warning signal, and we must take action. The best defense is a good offense," he told Fox News.

What are you waiting for, President Obama?
