The Annoying One

Obama will cut $4 trillion in his mind. He has already cut $1.4 trillion and has single-handedly undid all the harm that President GW Bush had done to our economy. He has cut spending, increased job growth, and has brought this nation together as one. He has made our military stronger to the point that Iran, China and Russia fear us, not to mention the entire Islamic world. He has finally gotten a handle on illegal aliens and has kept all of the promises that got him into power. Best of all, he has held aloft the US Constitution for all to once again love and respect.

But seriously, he has a neat haircut, says nothing better than anyone else, and has an endearing stutter that makes him sound homey. He plans to split and fracture the Republican party as he taxes and passes the biggest spending bill in history. He plans to take all guns out of the hands of legal Americans and only allow them to remain in the hands of those who protect him and his children, and the police. He will neuter the military and continue to grow a nanny state until it becomes obvious that the liberal philosophy cannot work in the long run, but it will probably take a catastrophe before the onservatives get their act together.

My latest novel, Jihad Joe, is about Islamic terrorism and suspense.  In it I challenge the precepts of the religion through my protagonist, Zed Nill, a journalist, captured by terrorists and who is destined to be killed if the American President refuses to release three Gitmo prisoners.  Of course, American policy demands we never give in to terrorists, and for Zed, the clock is ticking.
