Pulling Out Just in Time

President B. Hussein Obama has decided that removing about 33 thousand of the troops in Afghanistan would be a good idea, especially right before the 2012 presidential election.  This will reduce the number of boots on the ground and hopefully not cause a problem as we start to pull out--something Bill Clinton was pretty much an expert in and Michael Moore's father should have done. The surprising thing about the Obama speech was that he only used the term "I" about nine or ten times, and only referred to his heroic efforts regarding Osama bin Laden once. Humility is not his strong suit, but after the famous "I got bin Laden" speech, maybe he was afraid the number of stupid Americans dropped since 2008.

Obama believes that the Afghan people should be able to take care of themselves and it isn't our job to hold their hands. Gee, I didn't know that this was the reason we went into Afghanistan in the first place. I thought we went there to fight the Taliban. If it was up to Michael Moore, we'd have only gone in there to get recipes.

They spoke about the pullout on CNN, the "Certainly Not News" network.  Fareed Zakaria, the president's foreign policy advisor and nonpartisan CNN reporter, said that even with our problems with Afghanistan, we still need to keep our eyes on Pakistan. The Indian-born Zakaria believes that the Pakistani military views the USA as the most dangerous threat to them, in spite of the fact that they are our ally, Karzai and Obama are BFF's, and we give them more money than Michelle Obama spends going to Africa with her two daughters for business. One of the reasons Zakaria left India to come to the USA was to get his butt to a safer place once Pakistan had nukes and they could hone in on his teeth as a target if they planned to strike Bombay. His surprise over the fact that Pakistan has an enormous number of Islamic extremists surprised me--my definition of an Islamic extremist in a Muslim country is a Muslim.

This will go nicely with my new purse
So for Obama, it's politics as usual along with more phony cliches than Democrats have draft dodgers. I'm just glad he's going to be a one-term wonder--we may even end up having a woman president with bigger balls than him. It can happen.
