Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Shooter's Sentencing Trial

The Law & Crime Channel began to record [live] the sentencing trial of Nikolas Cruz, the admitted gunman who shot and killed 17 students and staff and wounded 17 others at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 14, 2018. The shooting was one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history, when Cruz was 19.

Although trials tend to be boring to watch, due to the legal minutia that must be dealt with during testimony, this trial of the 23-year-old piece of human fungus started off with details that would disturb even the hardest among us. Cruz has already pleaded guilty to all charges.

The trial is being held at the Broward County Courthouse, and if all goes well, Nikolas Cruz could receive the death penalty, or life in prison.

Prosecutor Michael Satz called Cruz's attack "cold, calculating, manipulative and deadly," that  involved shocking, gruesome levels of violence.

Satz explained how much of the horrors of Cruz's rampage was captured on the school's surveillance video, and depicted with words how some of the scumbag's victims huddled together in classroom alcoves or in hallways as they lay there wounded, and Cruz returned within minutes and fired more rounds into their bodies, as family members in the gallery wiped away tears and couples held each other.

Cruz used an AR-15 style weapon, wore a tactical vest with many magazines of ammo in the pockets, and overall, fired 139 rounds on his savage and cowardly attack on the unarmed students and staff.

Satz also explained to the jury that they will hear evidence about Cruz, a former student at the school, plan to carry out the attack for months. Police recovered a cellphone video on his phone he made three days before he was dropped off by an Uber driver at the school to carry out the attack.

“Hello, my name is Nick. I am going to be the next school shooter of 2018,” Cruz said on the video, according to Satz. “My goal is at least 20 people with an AR-15 and some tracer rounds. It’s going to be a big event, and when you see me on the news, you will know who I am. You are all going to die.”

Cruz’s legal team will likely ask jurors to spare his life because he had turbulent family upbringing and received mental health counseling. Cruz’s mother died in 2017, and he had been living with a foster family when he carried out his attack, which, of course, gives him a perfect reason and a free pass to kill people.

Cruz just sat in court, hands on the sides of his head, unable to make eye contact with Satz or anyone else other than his defense counsel. The trial can take anywhere from three to four months.

BREAKING: Coward Scot Peterson arrested on multiple charges

Former Broward County Sheriff's deputy Scot Peterson, the coward who did nothing to protect the lives of the children at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during the Parkland shooting in 2018, has been arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. The entire incident was a disgusting display of cowardice and incompetence.

After disgraced and incompetent Broward County Sheriff, Scott Israel, was removed from his command, the newly appointed Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony turned his focus to the internal investigation exploring the way in which seven deputies responded to the school shooting.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office released this statement:

Today, as a result of the continuing internal investigation and disciplinary process, Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony officially announced the termination of two deputies who were found to have neglected their duties. The two are former Deputy Scot Peterson and Sergeant Brian Miller. The deputy and sergeant were found to have neglected their duties at MSD High School. They have been terminated and will no longer be privileged to serve as law enforcement deputies for the Broward Sheriff’s Office. 

Subsequent to an administrative discipline hearing at BSO headquarters this afternoon, former Deputy Peterson was taken into custody on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges and booked into the BSO Main Jail.

Peterson was correctly labeled "a coward" by President Trump, and he was arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) on "seven counts of neglect of a child and three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury," the FDLE said in a statement.

"If convicted, the 11 charges technically carry a maximum potential punishment of 96.5 years in state prison," the statement continued.

This has given some small sense of relief to some of the parents of the children who were killed.

Florida court rules against Israel

The Florida Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) had the right to suspend Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel (D) over his handling of two mass shootings and his total ineptness.

DeSantis suspended Israel after shootings at the Fort Lauderdale airport and Marjory Stoneman High School in Parkland, Fla. because he believes that Scott Israel doesn't have the capacity to be a dog catcher, much less an actual sheriff.

The Republican-held state Senate could also reinstate Israel. If it does not, he will have to run for the job again in 2020, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel. And should he run and win back the position, the people who voted for him, deserve what they get.

“I hope and expect the Senate will look at the merits of the claim,” Israel’s lawyer Ben Kuehne told the newspaper. “If they do, and do not act politically, then Sheriff Israel will be reinstated.”

It's ironic that Kuehne talks about people acting politically--that's all the Scott Israel ever did on the job.

DeSantis said on Twitter that the court's decision reaffirmed his authority to suspend a poorly performing official, [not to mention the worst sheriff ever.]

"Today's @flcourts opinion leaves no doubt of my authority to suspend a government official for neglect of duty and incompetence," DeSantis tweeted. "Scott Israel failed to protect the families and students of Broward County and I look forward to the @FLSenate resuming the process of formal removal."

An independent commission found that the sheriff's office did not adequately change its policy following the Fort Lauderdale incident that left five people dead, which caused more fatalities in the Parkland shooting, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Last year, a gunman killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. In 2017, five were killed in a shooting at the airport, all while Sheriff Scott Israel was scratching his nether regions.

Scott Israel claims his incompetence 'Is all about politics'

Some people just cannot accept how totally incompetent they are and pull the victimhood tissue to wipe their tears.

Following his suspension by newly elected Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel vowed to take legal action because he's actually too incompetent to know that he's incompetent. Worse, he's an arrogant a**hole and is more politically motivated than the Democrats rejecting the border wall.

Despite reports and investigations showing numerous flaws that led to more deaths at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, 2018, Israel proclaimed his suspension was “about politics.”

No, weasel whisperer, it's about how kids died because of your incompetence and because your department was too cowardly to do what they are paid to do.

"This suspension is not about what occurred on February 14th,” Israel claimed. “The governor promised as a candidate – well before he had any facts of the investigation, well before the commission even began their work – that he would remove me from office. Today, he merely fulfilled a campaign promise. This was about politics, not about Parkland."

Actually, there was a boat load of facts simply from the video of the shooting in Parkland.

Israel went on to say no one from DeSantis’ staff nor the governor himself spoke to Israel about what happened in Parkland, and that the governor was carrying out the will of the National Rifle Association (NRA), of which he offered no facts.

He also suggested that suspending him was an “easy” way to ignore the real problem, which is gun violence in America--which would have been minimized had the police gone into the school to neutralize the shooter with their own guns, rather than hiding behind a structure until the coast was clear. Police from a nearby town came rushing in and dealt with the situation the way they are supposed to and the shooting ended.

The other real problem for Israel is that the investigation and commission he spoke about found that his department’s active shooter training was ineffective, though they did not recommend suspending Israel.

Beside the fact that his department had information about the shooter after they received two calls – one in 2016 and one in 2017 – warning that the shooter was a potential school shooter. The department also had 20 previous contacts with the shooter relating to arguments with his now-deceased mother.

Israel was also criticized in the report for changing his department’s policy from saying officers “shall” confront active shooters to saying they “may” confront them, implying that if their nail polish was still wet, they could wait it out. Specifically, I'm talking only about Scot Peterson, the deputy who hid outside while the shooting was going on inside the school. In no way do I intend to discredit women--they would have gone in faster than his men.

In his statement announcing Israel’s suspension, Gov. DeSantis said the sheriff “has repeatedly failed and has demonstrated a pattern of poor leadership," but as a liberal Democrat, he felt he was doing the right thing.

"These incidents demonstrate Sheriff’s Israel’s repeated incompetence and neglect of duty," DeSantis’ executive order removing Israel said. "The families of the victims deserve accountability. It is my job as Governor to ensure that the safety of our local communities, especially the safety of our children, is paramount. Government officials must be held accountable for their actions, and/or inactions. For these reasons, I am suspending Sheriff Israel from office effective immediately.”

Seventeen people were killed in the Parkland school shooting because Broward County deputies failed to do their jobs. Sheriff Israel repeatedly defended their actions and his own when asked about the failures by the investigating commission, proving his incompetence and inability to serve and protect his community.

Scott Israel is probably the worst sheriff ever to strap on whatever it is he straps on.

It's a new year and the world still hasn't come to an end with President Trump in the White House, in spite of what the media and the left [but I repeat myself] would have you believe.

Stoneman Douglas commission: arm teachers, increase security spending

The state commission investigating the Parkland school shooting unanimously approved a final report on Wednesday that places the responsibility for reform on school districts, law enforcement agencies, state legislative leaders and Gov.-elect Ron DeSantis.

The comprehensive report, which is 458 pages long, by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission addresses the connections of screwups revealed in the wake of the shooting.

For example, the report includes fumbled tips, lax school security policies and the cowardly and unaggressive Broward sheriff's deputies who hung back in fear as shots were fired. 

The report will now go to Gov. Rick Scott, Ron DeSantis, Senate President Bill Galvano and House Speaker José Oliva.

There are dozens of recommendations in the report. Some would require action by the governor and Legislature, such as the proposals to allow some teachers to carry guns and increase spending on school security. It also calls for laws to be changed to allow school districts to raise taxes for security improvements and to require rather than simply permit mental health providers to notify law enforcement if a patient threatens anyone with harm. 

Many of the proposals were inspired by errors and weak spots that came to light after the Feb. 14 massacre of 17 people.

Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, chairman of the commission, said many recommendations could have been implemented a long time ago had school safety been treated with the importance it deserved, especially by school districts.

“There needs to be a sense of urgency,” he said. “And people need to understand that there’s an expectation and a rightful expectation on the part of parents: When you send your kids to school in the morning, there’s an expectation they’re going to come home alive in the afternoon and there are very basic things.

“There’s a money issue, I grant you that. And there’s challenges with money, but there’s a whole bunch of things that don’t cost anything and the Legislature, if these districts won’t do it, should mandate that they implement these things and that they implement them immediately.”

Galvano said the recommendations will be taken up Tuesday at a meeting of the Senate Education Committee. He said he would consider supporting many of the proposals, including the one to allow teachers to carry guns, which would be accomplished through expanding the school Guardian program.

Gualtieri spoke forcefully in favor of the commission’s proposal to arm teachers, noting that the shooter had paused five times to reload — providing opportunities to stop him.

“So what are we saying to people — we’re not going to allow you to defend yourself, we’re not going to allow you to defend the kids — why? Because of some ideology that we don’t like guns? Anyone who thinks they’re going to get rid of guns is crazy,” he said. “It isn’t going to happen. We’ve got to do something differently and people should be able to protect themselves.”

Broward School Board member Robin Bartleman said she doubts the board will support allowing teachers to carry guns but thought the board should revisit the issue.

“I am very concerned about arming teachers,” Bartleman said. “I think it’s a discussion we need to have with the community. I have not found many people in favor of this. The overwhelming response I get is people don’t want teachers with guns.” Fortunately for Bartleman, she didn't lose a child in the shooting. Had she lost a loved one, her opinion may have been different. The same holds true for all anti-gun advocates.

“Teachers went to school to teach,” Bartleman said. “That is their expertise. Law enforcement, their expertise is supposed to be to engage a threat. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen on 2/14, but I still think we should leave it in the hands of law enforcement.”

Yeah, how did that work out for you at the school?

Some teachers can walk and shoot at the same time. It is self-defense and the defense of the kids in the school that is the issue. There is something called "teaching" which can be done with guns and teachers. You can teach gun safety to them, and how to fire a handgun in an emergency.

It can save lives.

Parkland deputy Scot Peterson afraid to show for investigative panel

First the Broward County Parkland deputy, Scot Peterson, was afraid to enter the school as kids were systematically being slaughtered by a gunman at Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS in February. Now he is afraid to testify before a public safety commission investigating the massacre.

One question Peterson, 55, would have been asked if he had the courage to attend the investigation is why didn't he enter the Parkland, Florida school building where 17 people were being killed, one of the largest mass shootings in modern U.S. history, as he waited outside pissing on his shoes.

In his place, the school resource officer's lawyer, Joseph DiRuzzo, appeared before the commission. He told them that he filed a lawsuit to stop the 14-member panel's subpoena.

The commission, which meets this week to discuss the Valentine's Day shooting, criticized the frightened deputy on Wednesday, as they believed had he had not been busy being frozen in fear and entered the building immediately, he could have prevented at least six deaths.

"He was a cop in name only," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said. "If he had been a real cop, he would have run in there with that gun."

The parent of one of the young women who was killed told DiRuzzo that Peterson "didn't do his job." My daughter should be alive."

Peterson got caught lying when he claimed to have heard only two or three shots and didn't know whether they were coming from inside or outside the three-story freshman building. Radio calls proved him a liar as he is heard to identify the building as the shooter's location. Bullets fired through the window of that building was also further proof that he was afraid to save lives. Instead, he took cover almost directly above that window.

About 150 rounds were fired!

The poor guy resigned soon after the massacre rather than face being fired--being fired scared him too.

The icing on the Peterson crap sandwich was afterward when he had the audacity to question how others "keep saying I did nothing?"

Hogg's security: locked and loaded

How do you spell hypocrisy? Easy. D-a-v-i-d H-o-g-g.

The 18-year-old publicity hog who attended the Parkland, Florida school where a student murdered 17 people last February, has become the voice of the left in their call to take away our Second Amendment rights to defend ourselves.

Hogg now has a book deal, publicists and armed security.

But he's walking along in the streets of New York City, a town with extremely strict gun laws. Why would he need armed security?

Sean Di Somma snapped photos of Hogg and tweeted:

"Here's @davidhogg111 in NYC today with armed guards and a bunch of publicists. #neveragain #Hypocrites."

Hogg simply responded with:

"Love you too."

The exchange next involved Hogg defenders claiming the book he's writing will have all proceeds go to anti-gun causes, not to Hogg. One defender, Jeff Walsh tweeted:

"The book proceeds are going to gun reform charities, not to David or his sister, so yeah, the more he promotes the book, the more it supports his cause (albeit not his wallet)."

Then the Hoggster tweeted:

"This ^^^^, you know @SeanDiSomma you should really read the book if you did you would know we're pro second amendment."

Di Somma replied:

"I'm going to take a pass. I'm not really into books pushing shallow agendas not written by the listed author. Good luck to you though; if this sells well, surely there's a nice advance for the next one. #capitalism"

But perhaps the best tweet [although there were some great ones] was from a person in Georgia:

"But @davidhogg111 I thought armed guards were not an answer to security? Who is Paying for him? @Everytown? @georgesoros? What makes you Special or better than anyone else in NYC?" --GA Patriot (@GA_Patriot912)

Never letting a tragedy go to waste, Hogg has been in the spotlight since the school shooting. He has gone to rallies to fight against the National Rifle Association--an organization that promotes gun safety and security checks for firearm purchases. He has called for boycotts of companies that advertise on Fox News and other media that support the Second Amendment and disagree with his leftist ideas.

Hogg has also called for a political revolution, but evidently he wasn't taken seriously enough to have one evolve. After all, he's an 18-year-old who can't spell very well, uses profanity to substitute for his lacking of vocabulary, and who failed to get into UCLA and other schools to which he applied.

In his previous life, Hogg may have been a member of Hitler's Nazi Youth movement.

Parkland self-declared gun control experts: 'If you don't support us, it'll look like you're going against kids'

Gun control 'expert' Emma Gonzales 

I suspect George Soros is funding the Parkland kids who on Monday are expected to announce plans for a 20-state summer bus tour hawking anti-Second Amendment garbage and acting as if victimhood makes them experts on this issue.

For a teenager, this kind of stuff is way cool. They get to pontificate and tell grownups what they must do. If the grownups for whatever reason refuse to obey their directives, well that just means that it'll look like they're going against kids.

What bull crap!

And more than that, what bullying!

David Hogg [what an appropriate name] and Emma González will be the stars of the March for Our Lives: Road to Change gun-control protest on their 75-stop tour. These kids will meet with victims and survivors of shootings [except for those survivors who favor self-protection measures acknowledged under the Second Amendment] and focus on even more gun control legislation that thus far hasn't been properly followed by law enforcement.

These kids will also register fellow youths to vote, hopefully only on only one issue.

Hogg, 18, promoted his bus tour saying, "I'm glad I'm getting my diploma and not my death certificate."

Actually, he would not be the one to get his death certificate--that would be his parents, but it's a nice emotional line that should get people to vote with their hearts, not with the facts.

Fellow child opportunist and Parkland anti-gun activist Emma González will be with Hogg on the bus tour [whose sponsor is remaining in the shadows] and had the temerity to say, "If you don't support this . . . it'll look like you're going against kids."

Obviously this isn't true.

If you don't support anti-Second Amendment rights it merely means you're pro-Second Amendment and a free-thinker who sees the problem not in the existence of guns, but in those who would use them for evil--much like those who use knives and trucks for the same purpose. Trying to make pro-Second Amendment people feel guilty, and manipulate other misinformed people about how guns are guilty of crime, isn't going fool very many people whose brains are intact.

Let's face it, this tour is well-organized and has leftist money behind it. The kickoff is set for June 15 in Chicago, home of the illegal handgun and Barack Obama [unless you believe he was born in Kenya].  The tour will make 50 additional stops across the country while a "simultaneous" Florida tour will make 25 stops in that state.

In a March for Our Lives news release, they said the student gun-control self-proclaimed policy experts are calling for "universal, comprehensive background checks [not counting the background checks that weren't followed up by law enforcement in the Parkland shooting and others where the warning signs were there]; creating a searchable database for gun owners [in case the government wants to confiscate their weapons like what happened in Nazi Germany];
funding the Centers for Disease Control to research gun violence [because these kids feel that gun violence is a disease that can be cured with the proper drugs];" and "banning high-capacity magazines and semi-automatic assault rifles," [proving they don't know what a semi-automatic weapon is, nor how lawless people don't give a crap about what size magazine they're allowed to have as they commit acts of violence].

These kids are obviously looking for their 15 minutes of fame and some money under the table. I hope people are smart enough to see through their gun smoke screen.

Dummy Debbie compares NRA to terrorist groups

Debbie Wasserman Overbite Schultz (Duh-FL) cannot see significant differences between ISIS, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Al Shabaab, Hamas, Hezbollah and the NRA.

She characterized the NRA as "just shy of a terrorist organization" on Tuesday, in response to the recent appointment of its new president, Oliver North, who contended that the Parkland, Florida students pushing stricter gun-control legislation are engaging in "civil terrorism."

Speaking of shy, Schultz is "just three cards shy of a full deck."

"The NRA is kind of just shy of a terrorist organization," she told HuffPo Tuesday. "They have done everything they can to perpetuate the culture of violence that we have in our country with the spread of assault weapons across the nation."

The blame really lies on the shoulders of our nation's founders who believed that it is a person's God-given right to defend him/herself. In fact, as I write this Friday morning, there is a shooting in Santa Fe, Texas in progress and the one hope I have is that there is someone with a gun to stop the guy with a gun who it is said to have gone into a classroom and shot a young woman. [The story is unfolding this very minute so the facts are fuzzy.]

Oliver North depicted the Parkland survivors as criminals, accusing them as relying on "intimidation and harassment and lawbreaking" in an interview he had May 9th with the Washington Times.

"They call them activists. That's what they're calling themselves. They're not activists--this is civil terrorism," North said.

The congress-cretin took issue with North's rhetoric that the NRA is facing opposition the likes of which has "never been seen against a civil rights organization in America." He also characterized the gun-control activists as reminiscent of "the terrible days of Jim Crow," led by the Dixiecrats.

To compare the NRA, an organization that teaches gun safety as a top priority, and whose members are virtually all law abiding citizens, as "just shy of a terrorist organization," shows just how little she knows about the NRA and terrorist organizations.

The NRA follows the law; terrorist organizations do not. The NRA has never been accused of killing anyone but its members and other gun-carrying citizens have stopped crimes and protected themselves from crimes such as rape and armed assaults. 

Terrorist organizations kill indiscriminately, and to make such a false comparison of them with the NRA merely shows the desperation of the left to discredit decent gun owners and the value of the U.S. Constitution.

It's also fake virtue-signaling. By blaming the gun, the left doesn't need to deal with the real problems we face, such as the breakup of the nuclear family, where having a father in the home, or a man in the life of male teens, makes a huge difference in whether a young man gets involved with crime.

The problem isn't the guns or knives or vans that plow into crowds, it's the person behind those tools. The NRA simply teaches us how to use the first on the list responsibly and safely.

And let's not forget, Debbie has problems with her own shady past.

Parkland shooter was assigned to Obama-era program and Superintendent lied

Local Florida media reported Sunday night that the school shooter of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School was assigned to a useless Obama-era disciplinary program. The superintendent of the Broward County Public Schools denied several times that the program even existed, proving that both Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel and school leadership are useless and dishonest.

WLRN reported:

Two sources with knowledge of [the shooter's] discipline records told WLRN he was referred to the so-called PROMISE Program for a three-day stint after committing vandalism at Westglades Middle School in 2013.

The PROMISE Program was implemented in the Broward County Public Schools in 2013 under the direction of then-Superintendent Robert W. Runcie at the urging of the Obama administration. The purpose of the program was to reduce the number of minority students who ended up in prison for crimes they committed on campus. In other words, it was Obama's way of making campuses "safe spaces" for criminals to commit crimes without having to sweat jail time.

Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire, wrote that Broward County Public Schools "had rewritten its disciplinary policies to make it nearly impossible to suspend, expel, or arrest students for behavioral problems including criminal activity."

Safe spaces for poor, misunderstood, victims of the system who may have shot one or two folks, but that's because of society. Yeah, sure.

School district spokeswoman Tracy Clark confirmed to WLRN that administrators in the district were analyzing the shooter's records and confirmed that he had been referred to PROMISE after the scumwafer vandalized a bathroom at the middle school shortly after the program was implemented in 2013.

But it isn't clear whether the shooter even attended the program as WLRN noted:

Clark said he appeared at Pine Ridge Education Center in Fort Lauderdale--an alternative school facility where PROMISE is housed--for an intake interview the day after the vandalism incident.

"It does not appear that [the shooter] completed the recommended three-day assignment/placement," Clark told the radio station, but wouldn't "speculate" on the reason why.


The radio station added that the [useless] Broward County Sheriff's Office previously said the shooter never attended the program.

"The school board reports that there was no PROMISE program participation," Jack Dale the BSO representative said.

Parkland residents impacted by the shooting called for Runcie's removal.

Scott Israel, the incompetent sheriff of Broward County, Florida, is being hounded by his deputies after a "no confidence" vote and now a billboard on Interstate 95.

Lest he forget.

"Governor Scott: There is no confidence in Sheriff Israel" the sign reads. It was paid for by the International Union of Police Associations 620 Deputy Union.

Of the 628 Broward Sheriff's Office Deputies Association members, 534 of them voted in April that they have "no confidence" in the slimeball.

Israel, whose name is an embarrassment to a country I love and respect, faced backlash after the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th in which 17 people were killed. Of these, 14 were students and of the students who survived the massacre, all of them who oppose the Second Amendment have been deemed experts on gun control.

But back to Scott Israel.

Israel's department was criticized nationally in the way they handled the shooting as it unfolded. One deputy was too scared to enter the school and save lives and waited outside as the shooter picked of students and staff one-by-one.

Worse than that, his department had been called to the shooter's home on many, many occasions over the past several years but did not arrest him.

The shooter himself posted on a YouTube site that he wished to become a "professional school shooter" and the FBI was informed but still nothing was done about it.

And the shooter had been a mental health patient in the past and was deemed to not be a danger to self or others.

Israel responded to the no confidence vote by accusing union president Jeff Bell and the union of trying "to use the Parkland tragedy as a bargaining tactic to extort a 6.5 percent raise."

What a scum wafer Israel is--he has no self awareness and refuses to take any responsibility for his department's total mishandling of this case.

"We are going to continue to speak out loud and make sure our voice is heard," Bell said in response to the idiot sheriff. "It's a strong message to put it right in front of Rick Scott of how serious we are."

The billboard will remain up for a month and Bell's next move, he said, will be to present the vote to Gov. Rick Scott. Hopefully he will suspend Israel and ask him to "please make change and replace the sheriff with somebody who is capable of amazing leadership."

Compared to Scott Israel, anyone would make a better choice.

Brother of Parkland high school alleged shooter arrested

His identity covered up to avoid copycats of
his brother

The brother of the Parkland high school shooting suspect was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly violating his probation.

The 18-year-old was sentenced to six months probation in March for trespassing on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School grounds. [The school named after the Florida writer who lived to the age of 108.] He was accused of violating the terms of his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest, the Sun-Sentinel wrote.

According to the newspaper report, the young man drove a Kia SUV on April 28 without a valid drivers license. He travelled within 25 feet of a parking lot at Park Vista Community High School in Lake Worth.

In spite of clear warnings not to enter the campus, the miscreant went through [poorly] locked doors and gates and rode his skateboard throughout the property. According to the arrest report, he wanted to "reflect on the school shooting and to soak it in."

For what purpose?

His brother, the Parkland shooting suspect, has been charged with 17 counts of first-degree murder for killing 17 people on February 14th.

Florida school shooter wants inheritance to go to charity says his lawyer

Miami -- The 19-year-old scumcrumpet who is accused of killing 17 people at the Parkland, Florida high school on Valentine's Day had inherited an $800,000 trust left to him by his adoptive mother. Now his defense lawyer is claiming on Wednesday that this piece of garbage wants to donate the money to charity.

It's so nice to hear the shooter had a change of heart [or in this case, actually grew a heart] and wants to pay for his sins.

The accused shooter appeared at a hearing in Broward County Court to determine if he needs a court-appointed lawyer or can afford one through the trust he and his 18-year-old brother received.

"He wants that money donated to an organization that he believes would facilitate healing in our community," his defense attorney, Melissa McNeil told the court. Judge Elizabeth Scherer did not yet make a ruling on the matter.

Perhaps the shooter should leave the money to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the site of the shooting. 

The funds could go directly to David Hogg, the 17-year-old who, by virtue of being at the school during the shooting, is considered by the mainstream media of being a gun-control genius [in spite of his inability to be accepted to any of the four colleges to which he applied]. The money could fund his transportation across the nation for his profanity-laced TV appearances in which he bullies conservatives and claims victimhood.

I believe the charity offer is a ploy for this heartless shooter to avoid the death penalty and I hope the public isn't fooled by it.

We need to keep their names and photos out of the news of the mass murderers. And when people like David Hogg stand on the graves of his fellow students to push a political agenda, we need to push back. 

If Hogg has an opinion that says, for example,  anyone who disagrees with him wants to see more dead children (e.g., Dana Loesch, an NRA spokesperson) we have the right and obligation to push back on such an immoral and disgusting accusation.

Potty-mouth ageist with no insight into gun violence

David Hogg has a potty mouth and very little else. Hogg is a 17-year-old survivor of the high school shooting in Parkland, Florida. He claims that he's the NRA's "worst nightmare" and Mary Lou Clemmons' "best dream" if she is willing to go with him to the prom.

When speaking about gun control issues, the teenager said, "Our parents don't know how to use a f**king democracy, so we have to." But only those people who agree with him can use a democracy--Democrats, for example.

His brilliant words:

"When your old-ass parent is like, 'I don't know how to send an iMessage,' and you're just like, 'Give me the f**king phone and let me handle it.' Sadly, that's what we have to do with our government; our parents don't know how to use a f**king democracy, so we have to."

Use a democracy? I wonder what Hogg's grades were for English grammar. The word 'democracy' is not a noun, idiot. Yes, idiot is a noun. 

I also wonder what Hogg thinks about his own "old ass" parents.

Hogg, who obviously sees himself as some sort of youthful folk hero blathered on with his pedantic garbage as he continues to save the world from evil guns:

"I'm beyond exhausted. I get to a certain point where I just get so tired that I keep going. It creates a positive feedback loop in some ways [because he sees himself as a machine]--the more stress and work I put on me, the more stress and work I can deal with."

Hooray for a Hogg! He is so brave and strong to push on. And he had more to say:

"It just makes me think what sick f**kers out there want to continue to sell more guns, murder more children, and honestly just get reelected. What type of shi**y person does that? That could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn't take action, because they all still see these dollar signs."

The 'Hoggster' was not referring to monetary assistance he is likely receiving 'under the table' to send his vulgar message out to us old-ass people, but to the billions of dollars the NRA gives to politicians in constituencies that support the Second Amendment.

Hogg had this to say to Florida Gov. Rick Scott:

"You're kind of like Voldemort at this point. You should just retire, because you aren't going to get elected to Senate."

And to Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL):

"What about the $176,000 you took for those 17 people's blood?"

Yeah, Marco, why do you accept money for something that you believe in? Why do you have an A+ rating with the NRA?

Rubio said that he would back four gun control measures since the Parkland shooting:

Strengthen background checks. "I will support changing our background system so that it includes more information than it includes now and that all states across the country are required or incentivized to report all the information into it."

That isn't a bad idea at all, but in terms of this recent shooting and in some of the others, law enforcement was aware of the danger the shooter posed before he went to slaughter. But if a more intensive background check could help, why not?

Ban bump stocks. 

Sure. It really has no useful purpose other than converting the rifle into an almost automatic weapon. I don't see a problem with a ban on that.

Increase the 18-year-old age limit for rifles. "I absolutely believe that in this country if you are 18 years of age, you should not be able to buy a rifle, and I will support a law that takes that right away," Rubio said.

Most mass shootings are carried out by people over the age of 21. If, as Rubio suggests, we increase the depth of background checks, there should be no reason to take away the rights of those old enough to go to war and carry an automatic rifle, from buying a semi-automatic rifle. 

Limit magazine clip sizes [perhaps]. "I traditionally have not supported looking at magazine clip size, and after this and some of the details I learned about it, I'm reconsidering that position [because] it may save lives in an attack."

A bit of a squishy detail. Perhaps he's right, but let's not forget that an experienced shooter with multiple clips can change a clip in just a few seconds.

If we could just stop all non NRA members from committing mass shootings, the mass shooting rate would drop 100 percent!

If we could have just made the Broward County Sheriff's Department, the FBI and the mental health professionals who were directly involved in the Parkland shooter's case simply do their jobs, there would have been no shootings and those 17 victims would be alive today.

But blame the NRA and blame guns because that's politically expedient and on your check list. 

It's sad that we give special credence of expertise to victims of gun violence, as if they know more because of their trauma. Actually, it is because of their trauma that we can generally expect their thoughts to be tied into their emotions and have less world validity than experts who have analyzed real data from an objective, scientific perspective.

So young Hogg, you have your fifteen minutes of fame. Make the most of it.

Dick's Sporting Goods claims to have stopped selling the AR-15 rifle because it was the type of weapon used in the horrible Parkland, Florida mass school shooting.

By the way, the "AR" in the AR-15 stands for ArmaLite Rifle, not Assault Rifle. 

The New York Times refers to the AR-15 as the "most beloved and most vilified rifles" in the United States. But it's the villains behind the weapon that should be vilified, not the tool they use to carry out their evil, or else we'd be banning vans and trucks, knives and hammers and Louisville Sluggers.

But this is precisely why The New York Times sucks--they blame the weapon, not the villains.

Dick's however, continues to sell fully semi-automatic shoulder fired assault type rifles such as the Marlin Model 60 semi-automatic rifle, the Savage Arms 64-F semi-automatic rifle,  the Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic rifle, and the Remington 597 semi-automatic rifle.

Just like the AR-15 but not as scary looking to liberals.

The term "fully semi-automatic" is a liberal smokescreen to trick people who don't know better (aka liberals). And basically all rifles are shoulder-fired.

A weapon is either a semi-automatic, an automatic, a bolt action, pump action, or lever action. Even revolvers and handguns generally fall into the category of semi-automatic because when you fire a round with the pull of the trigger, the next round chambers, but the trigger must be pressed again for the next round to be fired. 

An automatic, such as a machine gun, fires round after round with one pull of the trigger and continues until the trigger is let go or the magazine of rounds empties. The M-14, used in Vietnam before the M-16 took over, fired both semi automatic and automatic with the use of a selector switch.

Interestingly, the lever action Winchester 70 was used as a sniper rifle in Vietnam, so that would make it an assault rifle since it was used by the military.

So don't let the liberals try to take the moral high ground or virtue signal. They don't know what they're talking about regarding firearms.

Florida teens marching for gun control have quiet leftist sponsors

It's pretty bad when adults use children to make their point, to put them on display as if they are the moral authorities and people who disagree with them are evil. Jimmy Kimmel did that with his baby son--he used him as a prop to make the point that people who didn't support Obamacare are heartless creatures who want children to die.

That's vile and disgusting.

Now we've learned that large progressive organizations, donors and other high-powered people are backing the March For Our Lives movement, ostensibly run by some of the teen survivors of the Stoneman Douglas school shooting that happened on Valentine's Day.  

The other teen survivors, those who oppose gun control and believe that having trained armed staff inside schools would prevent or eliminate these violent attacks, have not been heard from, supported, or given voice in the mainstream media because it doesn't fit their agenda.

In days following the Parkland, Florida shooting, which killed 17 people, the survivors were all over cable news and went from a handful of Twitter followers to a bazillion followers and organized a rally in Washington D.C. in support of gun reform.

It was only two weeks ago the teens were hanging out in one of their parents' homes and planned a trip to Tallahassee to meet with state lawmakers and planning to deal with the media.

But since then large organizations such as Everytown, Giffords, MoveOn, Planned Parenthood and the Women's March LA helped the kids with logistics, strategy and planning for next month's March For Our Lives rally and more, according to BuzzFeed News.

It's unclear exactly what resources are being provided by the organizations, but it sounds as if they are funding these kids and using them like a Jimmy Kimmel prop to push for more gun control.

Giffords is an organization that was started by former Rep. Ganrielle Giffords. It's purpose is to fight gun violence and is working with Everytown and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America to plan the huge march on Washington along with rallies across the country.

They never let a tragedy go to waste, as "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky teaches, a book followed by Obama and Hillary Clinton, both who viewed Alinsky as a god.

Giffords "will be lending support in any way the students need, especially helping to operationalize these marches from logistics to programming," they told BuzzFeed. 

And probably footing at least part of the costs, I suspect.

"We applaud these students for demonstrating incredible leadership and demanding that our lawmakers do more to help protect Americans from gun violence," their spokesperson said.

If they really want to do something to help protect Americans from gun violence, they would have more to say about the Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel, as well as the FBI along with the mental health facility that said the shooter wasn't a danger to himself or others.

Instead, the teens attacked the NRA, proving they really care more about their leftist agenda than solving the real problem. This one was totally preventable.

And isn't it ironic that Planned Parenthood is all in for gun control to "save lives," but are willing to take the lives of the unborn.

Florida deputy who cowered behind a barrier while kids were being killed isn't a coward, eh?

Scot Peterson, the Parkland school's armed school guard who failed to guard the school while children and staff were being murdered by a 19-year-old while he cowered behind a barrier waiting for things to cool down, is not a coward just because he cowered and failed to do his job, says his delusional lawyer.

Peterson was supposed to engage the shooter as quickly as possible to save lives, but he stayed outside.

One of the survivors, David Hogg, who has been appearing on TV over and over to speak out against guns rather than the people who kill with guns, said that cops don't want to face down AR-15s, and he understands why Peterson was afraid to go into the school and do that.

"Who wants to go down the barrel of an AR-15, even with a Glock?" he said.

I wonder how Peterson could know the shooter was using an AR-15. The Colt AR-15 fires a .223 Remington or 5.56 NATO round. But so does a bunch of other firearms such as:

Bushmaster ACR rifle, Kel-Tec SU-16 series semi-auto rifle; Saiga 223 semi-auto rifle; Remington Model 7615 Police Patrol Rifle; Remington Model 700 series bolt-action rifle; Ruger Mini-14 semi-auto rifle; Steyr Scout series bolt-action rifle; Winchester Model 70 series bolt-action rifle; Volquartsen Evolution autoloading varmint rifle; Bushmaster Firearms International#Carbon 15 semi-automatic carbon-polymer-based AR-15 rifle.

And this list doesn't even include international military weapons, which is far more extensive.

So while teenage survivors of school shootings can say whatever they want to say without impunity or challenge of thought, David Hogg doesn't know what he's talking about, and even if he did, Peterson signed up for the job and failed to perform. And some of Hogg's fellow students who were killed might have been saved by a braver deputy.

Peterson's lawyer said that he acted appropriately but that's what his lawyer would have to say to defend the coward.

Michael Moore thinks the NRA is worse than ISIS

The FBI blew it. The Broward County Sheriff's Department blew it. The school officer and several of his colleagues who failed to go after the shooter at Parkland, Florida's massacre blew it. The child welfare agency that claimed the shooter was not a danger to himself or others blew it.

But Michael Moore and his eating disorder blames the NRA, which proves that he blows it.

People didn't do their job and the left pretends it's all about the NRA.

The fat man said the NRA is worse than ISIS, an organization who beheads non-NRA members, collected taxes from non-NRA members, burned to death a Jordanian pilot in a cage and recorded it for public consumption.

To equate the NRA with ISIS is immoral and disgusting, much like what Moore has for dinner.

The adipose poseur says that an American organization which teaches how to enjoy the Second Amendment and one's fundamental right of self-defense with gun safety, who has never had one of its members go on a mass shooting spree, is worse than ISIS.

What a colossal ass. What a horrible, vile fool. What an anti-American piece of cesspool pond scum he is. He reaffirms the belief of many conservatives that liberalism is a form of mental illness.

Moore proves that he knows nothing about the NRA and even less about ISIS.

He tweeted on Friday: "The NRA is a terrorist organization. The media should speak of the NRA in the same way they do ISIS."

And conservatives should speak of Michael Moore in the same way we do of the mentally challenged.

If he actually knew what he was talking about, he would be an immoral, horrible person.

Blame Broward Sheriff, FBI and cowardly cops--not the NRA

The shooting rampage at the Parkland, Florida school is the worst failure of law enforcement in American history as far as I can tell. 

Coral Springs police, who responded to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, say several Broward sheriff's deputies waited outside the building while the gunman kept shooting and killing students, rather than doing their job!

In all, 17 people were killed by the mentally deranged 19-year-old whose name will no longer be written herein.

The Broward Sheriff Scott Israel knew about at least one cop who was hidden behind a barrier outside the school while the shooting took place, but instead, Israel blamed the NRA, an organization that wasn't there and aren't responsible for the protection of those students. 

What nonsense.

In fact, in the Texas church shooting, an NRA instructor, who is a civilian, was there and went after the shooter, unlike Scot Peterson and the other deputies who hid outside. 

In fact, it was an AR-15 that saved lives that day.

Peterson was suspended by Scott Israel, not fired, but he resigned in shame.

The Florida Sun-Sentinel reported that according to police sources at least three Broward deputies, including Peterson, waited outside while the killer mowed down people. The Broward Sheriff's Office said Friday that it's investigating the Coral Springs officer's claims, but someone needs to investigate Sheriff Israel, who clearly has a political, rather than a law enforcement agenda.

All the red flags about the shooter were disregarded. The police had arrived at his house about 38 times in the past. A vlogger went to the FBI after the gunman had written on a post of his vlog with his real name, that he wanted to become a professional school shooter. 

Nothing was done.

The shooter had a history of putting a gun to his mother's head and threatening her. He threw chairs at people in school and was eventually expelled for his violent behavior.

Just which red flag were they looking for?

And the knee-jerk reaction is to go political, to call for more gun control laws, as if that would have made a difference. The left now claims that even those with guns [the cops] weren't able to stop a guy with an AR-15.

That's because they didn't do their job. Trump nailed it: they are cowards. He was referring only to Peterson when he said it, but I suspect he would agree about the others.

The FBI admitted it failed to investigate warnings about the shooter, but they also failed to apologize for that failure.

A child welfare agency looked into claims about the shooter, but they concluded he wasn't a risk to himself or others.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel admitted to the Sun-Sentinel that three Coral Springs officers said one or more sheriff's deputies didn't go into the school, and while he knew that before he went on camera to attack the NRA, he never admitted this until afterward.

I blame Scott Israel for not doing his job and for his vile dishonesty. He called for gun control and attacked the NRA, but would anyone in their right mind give up their guns and expect these incompetent buffoons to protect our kids?

I don't trust Scott Israel. If Peterson hadn't been caught on tape cowering behind a barricade, and the Coral Springs officers making their statement about the other cowardly deputies, I fully believe Israel would not have revealed this happened.

Coral Springs city manager Mike Goodrum, the day after the shooting, confronted Israel about the deputies' failure to respond. Goodrum only said he and Israel had a "heated discussion."

The Coral Springs PD issued a statement late Friday:

"There were countless deputies and officers who responded on that fateful day from multiple jurisdictions, whose actions were nothing short of heroic."

Broward County Sheriff's Department was not among them.

If you can't buy a beer, you shouldn't give your opinion on CNN

"If you can't buy a beer, you shouldn't be able to buy a gun," a father of one of the school shooting survivors said to President Trump. 

But if you can enlist in the military, use a gun, risk your life and fight for the country but still can't buy a beer, then what?

And yet CNN and other mainstream media outlets are using kids who can't buy a beer to give soliloquies about the gun debate. It's like Jimmy Kimmel using his child as a prop to lecture you about Trump's cruelty over Obamacare--its rather disgusting.

So why should we believe victims and family members of victims of atrocities are in any way experts in knowing how to deal with them?

Because they're off limits to criticize, which is why CNN uses them as spokespeople for the anti-gun movement that fits CNN's agenda.

How can you say to a kid who has just experienced a trauma at his or her school that you don't know anything about how to solve the problem? They've somehow reached the moral high ground, even though all they did to get there was to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Don't get me wrong--I have total sympathy for these kids, but I also have total contempt for CNN and any other media outlet that uses them and their dead classmates to push their agenda.

It seems the best strategies for dealing with school shootings is to make it tougher for the shootings to happen in the first place, and to identify potential shooters. Mental health issues are at this core.

In the Parkland, Florida case, law enforcement is almost totally to blame. From the police who went to the shooter's house 38 or so times, to reports received by the FBI, to kids seeing something and saying something, to the police officer who [for some reason that will haunt him to the grave] failed to immediately intervene and probably save lives, law enforcement failed miserably to do their jobs.

The left will use the cop who didn't go into the school to stop the shooter as some sort of proof that people with guns protecting the kids is not the solution. Taking away everyone's guns is their solution, and they lie about the facts.

Brilliant.

One cop's screwup does not universally define outcome in such situations. In truth, most cops are incredibly brave--this guy is the exception, not the rule. He should have been a school crossing guard instead of a law enforcement officer.

The left, and even President Trump, want to raise the age of people being able to purchase long rifles. I don't see how that will solve the problem.

The way I see it, the left is like the Islamist who wants to slowly push sharia law until it becomes the law of the land. The left wants to push one measure after another after another on gun control, until only the government has guns. 

And that was the very reason the Second Amendment was written in the first place.

In terms of mass shootings, over 90 percent of them have occurred in "gun-free zones." The left must have done studies "proving" that even mass shooters would never think of breaking the law and taking a firearm into a "gun-free zone." Heck, that's illegal.

Cary Gruber, the father of a Parkland student, begged President Trump: "It's not left and right--if you can't buy a beer, you shouldn't be able to buy a gun."

Okay, then if you can't buy a beer, stop pretending to speak with authority based on being a victim. 

Nobody wants to see kids get shot, not even those of us on the right who don't want to give up our constitutional right to defend ourselves.
