Former New York City billionaire Mayor, Mike Bloomberg, delivered Thursday's commencement speech at uber liberal Harvard University. He voiced strong criticism for voices "deemed politically objectionable."
Bloomie sounded serious when he announced: "This spring, it has been disturbing to see a number of college commencement speakers withdraw--or have their invitations rescinded--after protests from students and--to me, shockingly--from senior faculty and administrators who should know better."
After all, this was as unfair to the conservative point of view and rights guaranteed by our Constitution, as it is to those who believe they have the right to drink a Slurpee of a Big Gulp of any size they desire.
The Bloomster also referenced a speech by New York City ex-police commissioner, Raymond Kelly, where he was shouted down by Brown University students when the little communists of rich capitalist parents shouted him down for the "Stop and Frisk" policy used in the high-crime neighborhoods that have uncovered illegal firearms and likely saved many lives.
Mikey also noted that, at Rutgers University, the first female, African American Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, had to cancel the commencement address she planned to give. The low-information liberal students and staff protested her appearance because she supported the war in Iraq but Hillary Clinton, who did the same, is cool and she can speak at Rutgers any time she wants.
But no speech by Bloomberg is complete without some reference made to gun control and how guns are responsible for killing people, just like knives, baseball bats, and gravity are responsible. In addition to the $50 million he gave to support gun control, gravity experts claim that more people die from falls and plane crashes than by legal guns.
Bloomberg plans to fund a study about the evils of inertia this fall.

A reporter is kidnapped by Islamic terrorists who demand the release of three Gitmo prisoners
in exchange for him. If the president refuses their demands, they plan to
behead the reporter and videotape it for the Internet. But the U.S. doesn’t give in to terrorist’s demands and the reporter has 24 hours before he is to be
executed. The clock is ticking . . .
