Israel-Hamas War: where it now stands

Since October 7, 2023, and as of last week, a total of 1,667 Israelis have been killed, and of those, 706 were IDF soldiers. There have been about 17,800 wounded and more than 143,000 Israelis have been evacuated from their homes.

Since the start of the war, alerts have sounded in 935 communities, forcing Israelis to run to safe areas around 15,000 times.

Approximately 20,000 rockets, missiles and drones have been fired into Israel, according to a recent INSS report.

As of this writing, 101 hostages, both alive and deceased, are still in Hamas captivity. We are uncertain of the breakdown of the hostages, but thus far, many have been murdered in captivity and the Western media tends to blame Israel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the behavior of the terrorists.

Thus far, 17,000 terrorists have been killed and the IDF struck about 38,000 Hamas targets throughout Gaza. 

The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry, says 41,000 Arabs have been killed, and almost 95,000 have been wounded, but they do not draw distinctions between civilians and combatants, and it's a fact that many Gazans participate in the war so it's difficult to distinguish between non-combatants and terrorists. 

Over 68,000 Israelis have been evacuated from 43 northern communities, and around 100,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in Lebanon, according to the report. 

The report also detailed the occurrences in the West Bank. According to the INSS, since the onset of the war, 4,973 terror attacks have occurred in the West Bank, killing 38 Israelis, 12 of whom were soldiers and three were police officers. In addition, 285 Israelis were wounded in these terror attacks.

Nearly 700 Arabs have been killed throughout the West Bank since the beginning of the war, according to the report, citing the Palestinian health ministry.

Approximately 4,400 Arabs were arrested, among whom 1,850 were Hamas terrorists, representing a 114% increase in the number of Arab prisoners imprisoned in Israeli jails compared with the numbers in July of 2022.

Also, in the West Bank, since the beginning of the war, there have been 1,407 incidents of violence between Arabs and settlers, with the largest number of such incidents, 300, occurring in October of last year.

Regarding protests worldwide on the war, the report showed that an average of 2,090 anti-Israel protests occur globally every month in comparison to 65 pro-Israel demonstrations.

Yemen saw the most anti-Israel protests, with 5,500 demonstrations. The US came in second, with 3,500 protests, followed by Morocco, Turkey and Iran.

The most pro-Israel protests, 317, have occurred in the US, followed by France with 108, Germany, Canada, and Australia.

Comrade de Blasio won't release COVID-19 stats but promises transparency

As the pandemic of coronavirus spreads with New York City as America's epicenter, Mayor and Comrade Bill de Blasio [aka Warren Wilhelm, Jr.] promised New Yorkers he would lay out the truth, even the hard, cold facts of the situation.

“I think my job is to tell you the things that we’re going to confront, including some things that are difficult to hear, but to brace New Yorkers for the reality,” the commie mayor said. Interesting that he "think[s]" his job is to reveal the truth, he just isn't certain, however.

Since then, de Blasio and his administration have refused to provide basic statistics about the capabilities of the city’s health care system as it strains under the crushing weight of COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of the key statistics de Blasio refuses to share include the number of intensive care beds that city hospitals have for the sickest patients, which neighborhoods are being hit hardest in the outbreak, and how city morgues are approaching capacity.

“New Yorkers deserve full transparency from our city government at a time like this,” said Councilman Chaim Deutsch, a Brooklyn Democrat who probably voted for de Blasio because he had a "D" on the ballot but lacks a brain.

“This is a pandemic of epic proportions, and we can’t even get a basic breakdown of cases within NYC,” Deutsch said.

A state database updated in January, says New York City’s public and private hospitals have only 1,442 ICU beds. According to reports FEMA puts the number closer to 1,800 — and even those units were believed to be full on Friday.

When asked to confirm the FEMA report from last Wednesday Comrade de Blasio said, “I am not going to get into details that are ever-changing.”

His public hospitals chief, Dr. Mitchell Katz, has said that regular hospital beds can be converted into ICU beds with staff and ventilators, but appears to be under orders not to reveal how many beds have been transformed.

A mobile morgue has been rolled out at Bellevue.

City Hall only provides a borough-wide breakdown of COVID-19 cases but has resisted providing New Yorkers with a closer view by neighborhood or zip code while other places, such as Nassau County, publish detailed maps.

Oxiris Barbot told: "Look, a dead bird"

City Health Commissioner and card-carrying moron, Oxiris Barbot said a more detailed breakdown wouldn’t make sense in the city because “we have hotspots all over the place.”

The mayor’s office routinely provides other coronavirus stats that are constantly in flux, including the death toll, positive cases and hospitalization rate. Other city departments also regularly publish information about ever-changing statistics like school attendance counts and crime figures.

Don't believe O's rhetoric, believe the numbers

In spite of the Obama administration's claim about all those deportations of illegal aliens, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) say the deportations have gone south (forgive the pun) by an amazing 73 percent since 2009.

The CIS analyzed the most recent annual report by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The report shows that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has removed 65,332 illegal aliens from inside the U.S. in FY2016, which is about 0.5 percent of the estimated 12,000,000 illegals currently known to be living here unlawfully.

The CIS notes that those 65,000 deportations reflects a 73 percent drop since 2009, when about 240,000 illegal aliens were deported from inside the country.

The CIS also noted that the number of criminal aliens deported by ICE annually has decreased by around 60 percent since Obama began leading from behind. In fact, last year, ICE only deported 60,318 criminal aliens who had been living inside the U.S. This number makes up about 98 percent of all deportations.

If criminals were allowed to vote, Obama probably would have allowed them to stay.

As CIS explained: 

The main reason for the decline is the Obama administration's prioritization scheme that has steadily narrowed the types of cases that ICE officers are permitted to pursue. These policies have exempted all but the most egregious alien offenders from deportation. Currently, only aliens convicted of felonies, significant misdemeanors, or three lesser misdemeanors are considered priorities, and exemptions are allowed in many cases, such as if the alien has acquired a family or other community ties here.

While Obama pretends to have high deportation numbers, lying that almost 2 million unlawfully present aliens are sent packing over the past 8 years, those numbers include illegal aliens caught at the border and immediately "turned around" to be sent home. In the past, where more honest administrations were in office, those people were counted as "returns" not "deportations."

ICE said that if you don't count those who are actually "returns," true deportations in the U.S. is at the lowest point since the Nixon administration.

Looking at true deportations, CIS's report reveals that Obama has deported 5.3 million in his 8 years, while George W. Bush deported 10.2 million and Bill Clinton nearly 12.3 million illegal aliens.

The Oracle of Omaha and Abortion

Warren Buffett, the Oracle of Omaha and staunch supporter of Obamacare and everything abortion, has donated more than $1.2 billion to abortion organizations between 2001 and 2012, Fox News reported (Dan Gainor, May 13, 2014). That is roughly enough money to kill 2.7 human beings in the first trimester of life.

There are some who would argue that unborn fetuses  are not human beings--if not human, then what are they?

It seems as if all those people who support abortion rights have already been born, to paraphrase Ronald Reagan. 

According to the Guttmacher Institute, 2011 reached the lowest level of abortions since 1973. Perhaps this is a sign that the right is winning in the war to protect the unborn, but 1973 still had 1.06 million abortions performed, and from that year to 2011, about 53 million abortions took place.

Guttmacher found that 50% of all pregnancies are accidents, and of those, 40% are aborted. If that doesn't sound like birth control, what does? So, in all, 21% of all pregnancies end in abortion.

The reasons given for having an abortion are as follows:
75% say they can't afford a child.
75% cite concern for or responsibility to another person.
75% say having a baby would interfere with their work, school, or ability to care for dependents.
50% say they don't want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner.

Of all women who have abortions for whatever reason, 42% have income below 100% of the federal poverty level.

So if someone believes that Warren Buffett is a good man who loves children, I wonder what they think of Kermit Gosnell. At least the movie about him is going to be made thanks to audience support and donations of over $2 million--a record amount.
