India confronts Iran after ships come under fire in Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil route: 'Serious incident'

India summoned the Iranian ambassador for a meeting after Indian ships reportedly came under fire in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.

"The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi was called in by the Ministry of External Affairs for a meeting with Foreign Secretary this evening," the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

"During the meeting, Foreign Secretary conveyed India’s deep concern at the shooting incident earlier today involving two Indian-flagged ships in the Strait of Hormuz," it continued.

"He noted the importance that India attached to the safety of merchant shipping and mariners and recalled that Iran had earlier facilitated the safe passage of several ships bound for India," the ministry said. "Reiterating his concern at this serious incident of firing on merchant ships, Foreign Secretary urged the Ambassador to convey India’s views to the authorities in Iran and resume at the earliest the process of facilitating India-bound ships across the Strait."

The statement follows an earlier Reuters report claiming that two merchant vessels were hit by gunfire as they attempted to cross the Strait of Hormuz early Saturday.

Reuters also reported that the Sanmar Herald, an Indian-flagged vessel carrying crude oil, was attacked in the Strait on Saturday.

The reported attacks came after Iranian officials reversed a decision to reopen the crucial waterway, citing an ongoing U.S. naval blockade in the Strait.

"As long as the United States does not agree to the complete freedom of navigation for vessels... the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain tightly controlled and in its previous state," an Iranian military official said, according to Iranian state media agency Fars.

Despite the reports, President Donald Trump said during an unrelated Oval Office press conference Saturday that negotiations are "going actually along very well." Trump also insisted that Iran "can't blackmail us."

Fake AI Rabbis Spreading Anti-Semitism on Instagram: Report

An AI-generated Instagram account portraying an Orthodox-looking rabbi is pushing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories to its more than 1.4 million low-information followers. It is not the only one. A study published this week about anti-Semitic content on the social media platform has found precisely this pattern. 

An account called “Rabbi Goldman” “uses fake, AI-created authority figures to spread hate” in “a troubling and growing tactic,” according to the report published on Wednesday by the Combat Antisemitism Movement.

The 12-page report, titled “Engineered Exposure: How Antisemitic Content Is Pushed and Amplified to Millions Across Instagram,” documents 100 posts that researchers described as anti-Semitic. These were pushed directly to Instagram accounts over a 96-hour period from March 19 to 22 of this year.

These posts, actively suggested by the platform’s recommendation systems, generated more than 5.3 million likes and 3.8 million shares, with an estimated reach of 150 to 280 million users, according to the report, indicating the enormous extent to the level of gullibility that exists in this country.

The Combat Antisemitism Movement defined anti-Semitic posts as ones that invoke conspiracy theories, such as Jews controlling the media or manipulating global conflicts, and posts that claim Jews, often referred to as “Zionists,” are linked to demonic forces or satanic imagery. 

All of these motifs have been used historically to justify anti-Semitic violence, much like certain religious scripture in a religion that attempts to pass itself off as a religion of peace,

The report raises particular concern around the creation of “closed content environments,” in which users are repeatedly fed similar anti-Semitic themes, with little or no countervailing content. “This type of algorithmic clustering reaffirms dangerous beliefs, contributing to a process of radicalization that can have lethal real-world consequences,” the report states. Researchers identified a dozen AI-generated “rabbis” with a combined following of 2.1 million Instagram users, all of which promote classic antisemitic stereotypes.

The “Rabbi Goldman” account features many of these, including one video in which the “rabbi,” wearing a tuxedo and seemingly seated in a luxury airplane, claims that Jews utilize empty private jets to evade taxes. Anyone who actually believes this garbage is either a moron or an anti-Semite or both, since most anti-Semites are not very bright.

The community note attached to the clip reads, “This is an AI generated rabbi who is trying to scam you by selling a fake 9$ get rich handbook. This account is ran by scammers based in south India.”

Meta, which is the parent company of Instagram as well as Facebook and WhatsApp, did not respond to a request for comment from Jewish Insider about the report’s findings, but as you may know, Meta has its own problems of late.

“Simply put, this is evidence of a broad systemic failure on the part of Instagram and Meta,” Sacha Roytman, the CEO of the Combat Antisemitism Movement, said in a statement. “When a platform actively recommends content that dehumanizes Jews to mass audiences, we are no longer talking about a simple oversight or a mistake in the algorithmic design. We are talking about infrastructure that normalizes hatred at scale that must be addressed immediately.”

“The Combat Antisemitism Movement is calling on Meta to go beyond basic enforcement and take real responsibility. What’s been uncovered here must be taken seriously. This isn’t a fringe problem. Rather, it points to a broader, systemic issue with global reach, shaping how millions of people encounter and engage with antisemitic ideas in 2026,” the report states.

Last year, Meta received pushback from Jewish leaders when it introduced a new community-driven fact-checking system, ending its third-party fact-checking program and replacing it with a system modeled after the community notes feature on Elon Musk’s X. Some Jewish leaders expressed concern that the move would “open the floodgates to content” that could target Jewish communities and individuals, and called the decision a “step back” in the fight against rising antisemitism.

The dangerous implications of social media have extended beyond the Jewish community. On Wednesday a jury in Los Angeles ruled that Meta, as well as Google, are liable for creating addictive products that caused a teenager’s depression and anxiety. The verdict marks the first time juries have decided that tech companies are at least partially liable for distress both online and offline.

Operation SIndoor brings justice to the family of US journalist Daniel Pearl

India's targeted military strike, "Operation Sindoor," was launched in response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 civilians were murdered Islamic terrorists. The operation achieved an unexpected but significant outcome: delivering long-overdue justice to the family of American journalist Daniel Pearl, who was brutally murdered in Pakistan in 2002. 

On May 7, one of the nine terrorist targets destroyed was a facility in Bahawalpur, a known stronghold of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), a terrorist group led by Masood Azhar. JeM is responsible for multiple attacks in India, including the 2001 Parliament attack and the 2019 Pulwama bombing.

Daniel Pearl, the South Asia bureau chief for The Wall Street Journal and a Jew, was kidnapped in Karachi while investigating links between Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and terrorists. A month later, a horrifying video showed his beheading. Despite worldwide outrage, those responsible faced no consequences, protected by terrorist groups and their supporters in Pakistan.

Reports, including from the Bharatiya Janata Party, claimed that Abdul Rauf Azhar, Masood Azhar’s brother, was killed in the strike. Abdul Rauf’s involvement in the IC-814 hijacking led to the release of Omar Saeed Sheikh, who later kidnapped and murdered Pearl.

Pearl’s colleague, Indian-American journalist Asra Nomani, highlighted the connection between Bahawalpur and Pearl’s death. She wrote on X: "My friend, WSJ reporter Danny Pearl, went to Bahawalpur in December 2001 with a notebook and a pen. Gen. Pervez Musharraf had just promised he was shutting down Pakistan’s militant groups after a strike by Pakistan’s terrorists against the Parliament in India, and Danny reported on the militant offices in Bahawalpur. He literally knocked on their doors.

Dear Dr.@yudapearl, this story is a window into Danny’s reporting enterprise. And because people will wonder: Danny was no cowboy. This was a calculated low-risk reporting trip because no journalist had been targeted for kidnapping in Pakistan. India strikes back on Pakistan after the latter's terror attack

Let us confront the grim spectacle unfolding between India and Pakistan, two nuclear-armed adversaries locked in a perilous dance of retaliation and recrimination. 

On Tuesday, India unleashed a barrage of airstrikes across Pakistan and its controlled territories, a move that has sent shockwaves through an already fractious region. The Indian military, with characteristic audacity, claims it targeted nine sites where, as the BBC reports, “terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.” 

Pakistan, predictably, scoffs at this, asserting that India’s bombs fell not on shadowy terror camps but on civilian soil, claiming the lives of two children, according to its military’s account.

The Indian embassy in Washington, with a tone of righteous indignation, dubs this Operation Sindoor, a direct riposte to a heinous terror attack on April 22 in Jammu & Kashmir that left 26 civilians dead. [A sindoor is the red dot worn by married Indian women and the operation was named to honor the Hindu men who were slaughtered by the Muslim Pakistani terrorists.] 

India points the finger squarely at Pakistan, alleging that some of the terrorists—vile opportunists who singled out Hindus—hailed from across the border. This atrocity, coincidentally or not, erupted as Vice President JD Vance was in India, shaking hands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over a four-day diplomatic jaunt.

What followed was a grimly familiar escalation: cross-border gunfire, the scrapping of a river water-sharing treaty, and a war of words that threatens to spiral into something far deadlier. India’s embassy, in a statement dripping with conviction, declares it has “credible leads, technical inputs, testimony of the survivors and other evidence pointing towards the clear involvement of Pakistan-based terrorists in this attack.” The strikes, it insists, were “focused and precise,” a surgical effort to excise the cancer of terrorism. Yet, in a lamentable but unsurprising twist, India accuses Pakistan of “indulging in denial and making allegations of false flag operations against India” rather than rooting out the terrorist culprits.

And let us not forget, that Pakistan harbored Osama bin Laden, the model terrorist.

India maintains its strikes were a restrained affair, targeting “terror camps” while sparing Pakistani civilians, economy, or military. Pakistan, however, is having none of it. 

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with the fervor of a man wronged, condemns the “cowardly attack” on five locations within his borders. “This heinous act of aggression will not go unpunished,” he thunders, vowing that “Pakistan reserves the absolute right to respond decisively to this unprovoked Indian attack — a resolute response is already underway.” 

The Pakistani people and their forces, Sharif assures, “are fully prepared to confront and defeat any threat with our strength and determination.” As if to underscore the point, Pakistan claims to have swatted two Indian jets and a drone from the sky, a boast India has yet to dignify with confirmation, per the BBC, but this turned out to be false and the photos they used were from a previous operation. 

And so, the cycle of vengeance churns. Pakistan’s artillery roars across the border into India-administered Kashmir, a retort to what Sharif calls India’s treachery. “The enemy will never be allowed to achieve its malicious aims,” his statement concludes, a rallying cry for a nation on edge.

What is clear, Pakistan has attacked India's civilian population, much like Hamas did in Israel. And India is returning hostilities in a pin-point response, as Israel did with Hamas.

Across the Atlantic, President Trump calls the strikes “a shame.” 

Freshly briefed as he strode into the Oval Office, he muses, “I just hope it ends very quickly.” A sentiment echoed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, doubling as National Security Advisor, who received a briefing from India’s Ajit Doval on Wednesday. 

Rubio, monitoring the crisis with a wary eye, urges a swift de-escalation and pledges to “engage both Indian and Pakistani leadership towards a peaceful resolution.” The United Nations, through a spokesperson for Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, wrings its hands, expressing “very concerned” murmurs and pleading for “maximum military restraint,” as the BBC notes.

Here we stand, on the precipice of catastrophe, watching two nations armed to the teeth with nuclear arsenals trade blows and bravado. The stakes could not be higher, nor the margin for error slimmer. One can only hope that cooler heads prevail before rhetoric and rockets ignite a conflagration none can control.

Indian Air Force conducts "Exercise Aakraman" amid escalating Indo-Pak tensions post Pahalgam massacre

The Indian Air Force is out there, hammering away, training for some seriously gnarly ground attack missions across all kinds of terrain—plains, mountains, you name it. Meanwhile, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi’s boots hit the ground in Srinagar, sizing up the chaos in the region like a hawk.

After that gut-punch of a terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 innocent souls were snuffed out, the IAF unleashed "Exercise Aakraman" (Attack). They tore up the central sector with their heavy-hitting fighter fleets, the Rafale jets leading the charge like lightning bolts. The IAF’s [not to be confused with Israel's IAF] got two Rafale squadrons, one roaring out of Ambala, the other from Hashimara in West Bengal, ready to bring the thunder.

This wasn’t just a flex— it was a full-on show of force. 

Fighter jets screamed through the skies, transport planes buzzed all night Thursday, hugging the border so close you could feel the heat. AWACS-equipped birds kept their eyes peeled, tracking every move the enemy made. Oh, and across the line? Pakistani Air Force jets were strutting their stuff too, like they’re itching for a fight.

All three arms of India’s military machine—Army, Navy, Air Force—are on red alert after Pahalgam. From Jammu and Kashmir to the Arabian Sea, it’s all systems go. Rafale jets are patrolling the skies along the Pakistani border, while ground forces are kicking down doors, torching terrorist hideouts, and locking down border villages.

General Dwivedi rolled into Srinagar on Friday, with tensions between India and Pakistan hotter than a furnace. Flanked by 15 Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Prashant Srivastava and the Victor Force Commander, he’s not there for tea and biscuits. He’s chairing a high-stakes security pow-wow, laser-focused on the Line of Control and beyond. Sources say top brass will lay out the full picture—troop deployments, intel, and the playbook to shut down any cross-border nonsense. After that, Dwivedi’s heading straight to Pahalgam, where those unarmed tourists were gunned down in cold blood.

Pahalgam Bloodbath:

The Pahalgam attack on April 22 was a slaughter—26 people, mostly tourists, killed, with over a dozen more wounded. It’s one of the deadliest strikes since Article 370 got the boot in 2019. The government’s still cagey about the official body count, but the damage is done. Security forces are hunting the scumcrumpets responsible, combing the area like bloodhounds. The streets of Pahalgam, usually packed with tourists, are now a ghost town, locked down tight.

India and Pakistan exchange fire in Kashmir just days after deadly attack

The cauldron of Kashmir, that perennial flashpoint of Indo-Pakistani enmity, has once again erupted into violence. Troops from Pakistan and India have exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LOC), the de facto border that slices through this disputed region. This latest conflagration comes mere days after the United Nations, in its customary tone of impotent diplomacy, urged these nuclear-armed rivals to exercise "maximum restraint" following a grotesque attack that left 26 dead at a tourist hotspot in Pahalgam. 

Restraint, it seems, is a commodity in short supply.

Relations between New Delhi and Islamabad have plummeted to their nadir, with India accusing Pakistan of orchestrating "cross-border terrorism." The charge is not new, but the ferocity of India’s rhetoric is. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, never one to mince words, declared, "I say to the whole world: India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their backer. We will pursue them to the ends of the Earth." This is not the language of de-escalation; it is the lexicon of retribution. Pakistan, predictably, denies any complicity, dismissing India’s accusations as "frivolous" and vowing to meet any aggression with "firm reciprocal measures in all domains." The stage is set for a dangerous escalation.

The facts, as they stand, are grim. Syed Ashfaq Gilani, a Pakistani official in their slice of Kashmir, told AFP that the exchange of fire occurred along the LOC, though he insisted, "There was no firing on the civilian population." India’s army, for its part, confirmed "limited firing of small arms" initiated by Pakistan, to which it "effectively responded." 

No casualties were reported—a small mercy in a region where blood is shed with appalling regularity. Yet the absence of immediate fatalities does little to quell the sense that a larger reckoning looms.

The spark for this latest crisis was the Pahalgam attack, a brazen assault that Indian police attribute to three gunmen from the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, a group designated as terrorists by the United Nations. A bounty of two million rupees ($36,701) has been placed on each fugitive’s head, and Indian security forces have escalated their manhunt, blowing up homes and circulating wanted posters with sketches of the suspects. Two of the named gunmen are Pakistani nationals, a detail that fuels India’s narrative of Islamabad’s duplicity.

Pakistan’s response has been to double down. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif convened a rare National Security Committee, and the Senate passed a resolution condemning what it called a "campaign by the Indian government to malign the Pakistan government." 

Meanwhile, both sides have upped the ante. India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, closed the main land border crossing, downgraded diplomatic ties, and revoked visas for Pakistanis. Pakistan retaliated by expelling Indian diplomats, cancelling visas for Indian nationals (save for Sikh pilgrims), and shutting its side of the border. 

Most ominously, Islamabad warned that any attempt by India to disrupt the flow of the Indus River would be considered an "act of war." Water, in this part of the world, is not merely a resource; it is a weapon.

The UN, ever the voice of toothless reason, has called for "meaningful mutual engagement" to resolve the crisis peacefully. Stephane Dujarric, the UN’s spokesman, pleaded with both governments "to exercise maximum restraint, and to ensure that the situation and the developments we’ve seen do not deteriorate any further." 

One wonders if Mr. Dujarric has ever visited Kashmir, where restraint is as alien a concept as peace itself.

Kashmir, divided since the bloody partition of 1947, remains a wound that refuses to heal. Both nations claim it in full, yet govern only fragments, their rivalry sustained by a toxic blend of history, religion, and geopolitics. 

Since 1989, rebel groups in Indian-controlled Kashmir have waged a relentless insurgency, demanding either independence or union with Pakistan. The Pahalgam attack marks a chilling evolution, targeting civilians rather than the usual military targets. As Modi thundered, "Whatever little land these terrorists have, it’s time to reduce it to dust." 

The echoes of 2019, when a suicide bombing in Pulwama killed 41 Indian troops and prompted Indian airstrikes inside Pakistan, are unmistakable. That crisis brought the two nations to the brink of war. This one may yet push them over it.

What is striking, amid the sabre-rattling, is the deliberateness of India’s response. New Delhi has a history of biding its time. The Pulwama attack was avenged 12 days later with airstrikes. Today, as India’s air force and navy flex their muscles in military exercises, the question is not whether Modi will act, but when—and how brutally. 

Experts warn that a military response may still be in the offing, and the memory of 2019 looms large. Pakistan, for its part, seems equally prepared to escalate, its warnings about the Indus River carrying the weight of existential threat.

Here we are, then, on the precipice of another Indo-Pakistani crisis, with two nuclear powers staring each other down across a contested border. The world watches, the UN wrings its hands, and Kashmir bleeds. 

One cannot help but wonder: how many more times must this tragedy play out before the cycle of violence is broken? Or is it, as it so often seems, an eternal recurrence, doomed to repeat until the mountains themselves crumble?

U.S. extradites "convicted terrorist" who allegedly plotted attacks that killed 6 Americans

The Justice Department just dropped a bombshell: Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a 64-year-old Canadian-Pakistani “convicted terrorist,” got a one-way ticket to India to face the music for his alleged role in the 2008 Mumbai attacks that killed 166 people, including six Americans. Yeah, you read that right—166 souls, gone, because of this guy’s twisted playbook.

The DOJ says Rana, who’s been cozying up to the Pakistani terror outfit Lashkar-e-Tayyiba, is staring down 10 criminal charges for helping orchestrate the bloodbath that ripped through Mumbai from November 26-29, 2008. We’re talking coordinated bombings and shootings at restaurants, a Jewish community center, and the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel—places where people were just living their lives, not signing up for a terrorist’s target practice.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio didn’t mince words: “​​We extradited Tahawwur Hussain Rana to India to face charges for his role in planning the horrific 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. Together, with India, we’ve long sought justice for the 166 people, including 6 Americans, who lost their lives in these attacks. I’m glad that day has come.” 

You can almost hear the gavel slamming in his voice.

Rana’s rap sheet? It’s a doozy: conspiracy, murder, terrorism, and forgery. Sounds like he was aiming for the supervillain merit badge. Prosecutors say he played puppet master to David Coleman Headley, an American who’s already rotting in prison for 35 years for his part in the attacks. 

Rana allegedly set Headley up in Mumbai, using his immigration business as a front to scout soft targets. Oh, and he helped sneak Headley into India with bogus visa papers. Classy move, right?

The two reportedly schemed together in Chicago over two years, hashing out the details like they were planning a demonic bake sale. And this wasn’t Rana’s only rodeo—he already did 14 years in the U.S. for funneling support to Lashkar-e-Tayyiba and plotting to behead Danish newspaper workers. That little scheme, also involving Headley, got shut down before it could go off, thank God.

India’s been itching to get their hands on Rana since 2020, but the feds had to slog through years of court battles. On Monday, the Supreme Court finally told Rana’s lawyers to pound sand, denying his last desperate appeal to dodge extradition. 

Now, he’s India’s problem, and I’m guessing they’re not planning a welcome party.

So here we are, folks—justice delayed but not denied. It’s a grim reminder that evil doesn’t get a free pass forever, even if it hides behind fake visas and Chicago meetups. Let’s raise a glass to the 166 who didn’t deserve this and hope India’s courts bring the hammer down hard.

Jai Hind Joe Biden has hand to heart for Indian National Anthem

So called President Joe Biden had another awkward moment when his one remaining brain cell fired off the message that it was the Indian national anthem, not the Star Spangled Banner that was playing after he had put hand-to-heart as the music played. He slowly, slowly lowered his hand, hoping nobody noticed, and pretended he was checking his breast pocket for lint.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stood solemnly next to him possibly wondering how a once powerful country looked up to by the world, could elect a putz with the brain of a fruit fly. But Modi carried on, either unaware or internally laughing and hoping not to wet his lungooty. 

This is Modi's second US visit with Biden as make-believe president, so he's probably used to Joe's "cute quirks" as the media tries to convince us that his dementia isn't dementia.

The far-left Democrats are miffed by Modi's domestic policies, saying he has been "backsliding" on democracy issues and promised the Party, with straight faces, that Biden will confront the problem during the visit, along with other alleged abuses, [such as Modi's ironclad stance to not allow Islamic cultural differences to destroy Indian culture].

"The president and the prime minister have discussed religious discrimination, treatment of minorities, issues of press freedoms, and the president will not shy away from those conversations going forward," a senior administration official told reporters Wednesday.

"The president approaches some of these discussions and issues with a degree of humility," he said. "[He] understands that our own society, our own democracy has been under challenge and we have our own issues that we're grappling with. And so, I think he seeks to have a dialogue that is really one based more in mutual challenges and other issues that we're grappling with than simply hectoring, lecturing, and scolding."

In the US and most of the West, traditional religion is attacked only to be replaced by the religion of climate change; "victim class" minorities have more rights than majority White people; and the sin of pride rules over humility.

And out in front speaking for more of this leftist tripe is a babbling, cognitively impaired, decrepit man who was never bright to begin with, and as honest as the nanosecond is long.

Defenestration sucks, especially if you're the one being defenestrated. Yet another Russian businesman Pavel Antov, was at a luxury hotel in India in celebration of his 66th birthday. Somehow, Antov fell from the bedroom window and died, like at least four other Russian oligarchs who spoke out against Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

Antov was found extremely dead at the scene and local police [who have a global reputation of easily being bribed with as little a bribe as a banana] said that they didn't see anything suspicious.

So when it isn't about flying without a pilot's license, it's about not saying anything to upset Putin like Antov's buddy and travel companion Vladimir Budanov did. He mysteriously died of a stroke in his hotel room.

Now you might want to know just who Pavel Antov was before he wasn't. 

Antov was a member of Putin's United Russia party and since 2018 was a deputy of a regional parliament a little over 90 miles east of Moscow.

Antov founded a food manufacturing company Soylent Green Vladimirski Standart before he unfortunately got involved in politics. He was one of the wealthiest deputies and politicians in 2019 as listed in Russia's version of Forbes Magazine "Rubles Galore."

Antov and his comrades arrived in Odisha state in mid-December and since it wasn't March, decided not to worry about the ides of December. [Let's face it, Antov was no Caesar. and refused to beware.] He and his comrades visited various sites such as starving cows and crowds of people looking to make a rupi or two, before heading to their hotel in Rayagada, India last week. 

He was booked at the Hotel Sai International where he should have reserved a first floor suite but decided to get a better view of the town when he somehow fell to his death. Some claim his death was a suicide due to the death of his friend Budanov, just days prior to his fall, but unless he and Budenov were more than just friends, I would believe the chances that Antov offed himself are as likely as Meghan Markel being altruistic.

The one statement that may have caused Antov to partake in an early departing flight from his hotel room window was what he said in June. He spoke about a missile strike on a residential street in the Shevchenkivski district of Kyiv: "It's extremely difficult to call all this anything but terror." Of course he said it in Russia and Putin, who understood it, was obviously not a happy dick tater.

To cover his butt, Antov retracted the comment he made in a WhatsApp message. Evidently, the end-to-end encryption was on the fritz and Putin heard what was said. Antov claimed, like CNN's Joy Reid, that someone else may have sent it because when all is said and done, he was "a supporter of the president and [my] country's patriot."

Regional Police Chief Rajesh Pandit told the AFP that "[A]ll possible angles regarding the deaths of the two Russians are being checked," and hotel staff along with CCTV footage is being checked along with detailed autopsies. But alas, nothing could be found to arouse suspicion of untoward pushing of Antov or pilling of Budanov.

Defenestration is a popular, cost-effective way of pushing the point that Putin's views are the safest bet. In September, Ravil Maganov, 67, also mysteriously fell from a hospital window in Moscow. Maganov was chief of a Russian oil giant.

So this was the year in which at least four executives linked to state-owned energy leviathan Gasprom [not the place you want to bring a date at the end of the school year] were found to have "committed suicide."

It was the three shots to the head of one of them that created a buzz around the Kremlin--just kidding. If that really happened, there would be no buzz.

Indian woman makes historically correct comment about Islam's prophet and enrages Muslims

Nupur Sharma made an historically accurate comment on TV a few weeks ago about Islam's prophet Muhammed, and now Indian Muslims would like to cancel her . . . forever. 

What Sharma said was that Muhammed married Aisha when she was 6-years-old [and he was already in his 50s]. She was playing with dolls when he first saw her and Aisha's father asked that Muhammed please wait until she was older before having sex with her; so he waited three years until she was nine and then consummated the marriage.

That information is in the Hadith--the text which explains the chapters [suras] in the Koran, but somehow it angers Muhammed's followers when it's mentioned.

Sharma's remarks have outraged Indian Muslims and over a dozen Islamic nations. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is experiencing immense blowback over her words about the pedophilic behavior of Muhammed.

Her crime was to accurately paraphrase Islamic scripture

On Sunday, the BJP suspended Sharma from the party along with the head of BJP's Delhi media unit, Naveen Kumar Jindal [no relation to Bobby], for publishing a screenshot of her comment in a tweet.

The BBC called Ms. Sharma's comment 'offensive,' but if it's historically true, why are Muslims offended? Are they experiencing cognitive dissonance regarding their prophet and only feel anger toward those who point out his pedophilia? Is it that they know what he did was wrong but need to transfer blame to those who mention it?

In a statement, the BJP said it was "against any ideology which insults or demeans any sect or religion" and added that it did not "promote such people or philosophy." But Islam clearly insults and demeans other religions, particularly Judaism, saying that Jews are descended from apes and pigs. They also include Christians, but slightly less vehemently. 

So even the BJP are comprised of hypocrites, but perhaps they need to be in order to avoid violence.

Indian diplomats have said the comments did not reflect the stand of the government and that they were "views of fringe elements." But Nupur Sharma, 37, is hardly a fringe element. Until her axing from the party, she was a highly sought-after "official BJP spokesperson." She had appeared on many TV debates where she represented and defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

But make no mistake: Nupur Sharma's life is in danger. Islamic extremists will not let this go in spite of the veracity of her comment, and India will do little to nothing to stop it.

India angry at Ilhan Omar's visit to Pakistan: Biden admin distances itself

India's Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Arindam Bagchi blasted leftist Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) over an unsanctioned visit she made to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir this week, referring to her trip as "condemnable." [H/T New York Post]

“We have noted that she has visited a part of Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir that is currently illegally occupied by Pakistan,” Bagchi said of the anti-Semitic, anti-American woman, during a Wednesday press conference. “Let me just say that if such a politician wishes to practice her narrow-minded politics at home … that may be her business. But violating our territorial integrity and sovereignty in its pursuit makes it ours; and we think this visit is condemnable.”

India gained their independence from Britain in 1947. Since then, India and Pakistan have fought three wars and several smaller armed conflicts over Kashmir, none of which have proven decisive, although most of the region is governed by India. Pakistan and China control the remaining territory.

Omar, who married her own brother, met with Pakistan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar at the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, Pakistan on April 20th. Earlier that day she visited the Pakistan side of the cease-fire line in the region, aka the Line of Control, where she stuck her nose in to tell reporters that her colleagues should pay more attention to the India-Pakistan conflict. 

As a representative of the United States government, [which she intended to be or not] this should tell you that she had no business getting involved in the affairs of foreign countries.

“I don’t believe that it is being talked about to the extent it needs to be in Congress and within the administration,” the Muslima said, according to Reuters. 

The Somali-born Omar then added that the House Foreign Relations Committee, on which she sits, would look into allegations of human rights violations by Indian authorities in the region, according to the Express Tribune newspaper.

What is she talking about? Why on earth would/should the US Congress look into allegations made by a country hostile to the country to which they made allegations?

It sounds very much like Omar is on the side of the Islamic country as opposed to the Hindu country.

Omar's office didn't respond to The Post's request for comment about India's condemnation of her behavior.

Why is nobody demanding Biden take a cognitive test?

Does anyone have a doubt that President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is suffering from dementia? The Democrats demanded former President Trump take a cognitive test and he did, with a perfect score. And while it doesn't suggest that Trump is a genius, at least it shows that he didn't suffer from cognitive decline.

Can we honestly say the same about Biden?

If you said "yes," you are probably a leftist or, at the least, a liberal.

Biden experienced another cognitive glitch again on Friday when he was with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned to Modi that he was vice president just one year ago. That isn't a gaffe. That isn't a stutter. That's a full-blown brain fart of normal recall that demonstrates his decline. It would be one thing if he said three of four years ago, that might be forgiven, but one year shows that his brain is like chopped liver.

Unless he was lying, as is his wont.

But it's likely that he just doesn't have good recall, although he was able to recall that his co-president Vice President Kamala Hahaharris shares Indian heritage with Modi. Overall, however, Biden spoke gibberish at times to Modi and how he came off should scare the crap out those who realize he holds the nuclear "football."

“When I showed the Prime Minister to his seat, I pointed out that seat is occupied almost every day by an Indian American,” Biden said in an attempt to virtue signal about his diverse administration. “The Vice President’s mother was from India — a scientist and a remarkable woman.”

Then Biden uttered a statement that even the White House transcriber could not edit for clarity.

“As — as I think you know, Mr. Prime Minister, I’ve long believed that the U.S.-India relationship can help us solve an awful lot of global challenges,” he mush-mouthed. “In fact, back in 2006, I set that hope out, where I said that by 2020 — when I was Vice President — 2020, India and the United States would be among the closest nations in the world with one another.” (My emphasis.)

In 2006, when he was a senator representing Delaware, he might have held hope for U.S.-India relations while he seemed to believe that all Indians either ran gas stations or sold donuts and coffee:

On Tuesday, Biden once again repeated his fake Amtrak story in front of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. 

“When I was vice president, the Secret Service didn’t like me traveling on Amtrak because there were too many options for people to cause trouble along the way. But I insisted I do it,” he lied. 

Of course, it's possible that he's told that lie so many times that he forgot it's a lie--kind of like the Cornpop story.

Biden claimed that he had hit a milestone after traveling over 1.3 million miles on Air Force Two as vice president when his train conductor, a man named Angelo Negri, told him he’d hit another milestone.

“So I’m walking up to get on the train on that Friday and a guy, who was the number three guy from New Jersey on seniority as a conductor, walked up to me and grabbed me and goes like this, ‘Joey baby!’ and grabs my face. I thought the Secret Service was going to shoot him and I said no, no, he’s a friend,” Biden said.

“Do you know how many miles you’ve traveled on Amtrak?” Biden claimed Negri told him. “You’ve traveled over 2 million miles, big deal!”

The thing is, Negri died in 2014, two years before Biden crossed the 1.3 million mark on the vice presidential aircraft in 2016. AND NEGRI RETIRED IN 1993!

Maybe it's just his lies, but that seems very doubtful. He continues to make a fool of himself and he isn't being held accountable.

Why isn't anyone demanding he take a cognitive test?

Greta Thunberg gets outed as a tool for the left

"How dare you trample on my dreams"

Greta "How Dare You" Thunberg, the 18-year-naive far-left climate change genius is facing angry backlash on Twitter under the "GretaThunbergExposed" hashtag. Not very surprisingly, it wasn't just conservatives going after her online, the left-leaning activists and publications were just as angry.

It was India's citizens who lambasted her after she inadvertently tweeted out a "tool kit" intended for her socialist eyes only. The tool kit contained specific instructions on how to gain attention to farmer protests in India using various social media platforms.

After Thunberg's screwup, she quickly deleted it from her feed.

The instructions she was given went so far as to provide her with specific dates in which she was to tweet and post to Instagram messages meant to be the catalyst for anger and outrage in India, a place she never lived, in a cause she is clueless about.

Once she was outed, #IndiaAgainstPropaganda began trending on Twitter. She responded by tweeting: "No amount of hate, threats or violations of human rights will ever change that."

The "toolkit" shared by Thunberg encouraged Indians to sign a petition condemning the "state violence" against protesters and demanded the Indian government listen to them rather than mock them. In addition, it asked for people worldwide to organize protests near Indian embassies or local government offices on February 13th and 14th. 

The Delhi police viewed the "toolkit" as a propaganda tool created by an Indian separatist movement. A local police officer believes the "toolkit" was created by the "Poetic Justice Foundation" which is a movement designed to create an independent state in Sikh-majority regions in India.

"You've stolen my dreams and I want to bite you"

Indian news networks first reported that a police case was filed against Thunberg charging her with sedition, an overseas 'conspiracy" and an attempt to "promote enmity between groups," but the police were later quoted as saying that the case does not name Thunberg.

The Indian government blasted Thunberg, US pop star Rihanna, and other celebrities for extending their support to the farmers who have been protesting against new agricultural reforms. They described their online support as "sensationalist" and "irresponsible" by the Indian foreign ministry.

The protests which began last August, have resulted in bouts of violence.

Qatar: 6,500 migrant workers died in preparation for World Cup.

Qatar -- They came from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka as migrant workers, just a small step above a slave, to help build a stadium in the middle of a desert to host the World Cup. It began 10 years ago and since then, more than 6,500 migrant workers have died, according to the UK Guardian.

The data was extracted from government sources and indicates that the mean average of weekly deaths from these five South Asian countries came to twelve since December 2010 when Doha's streets overflowed with celebrants of Qatar's victory.

Data from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka revealed there were 5,927 deaths of migrant workers in the period 2011–2020. Pakistan's embassy in Qatar reported an additional 824 deaths between 2010 and 2020.

Mohammad Shahid Miah, 29, from Bangladesh, died when floodwater in his room came into contact with an exposed electric cable, electrocuting him.

And the death toll quoted doesn't include figures from other countries which send large numbers of migrant workers to Qatar, such as the Philippines and Kenya, nor were the 2021 deaths included in these figures.

Over the past 10 years, Qatar has been building feverishly, mostly in preparation of the 2022 World Cup. But there are also seven new stadiums and scores of major undertakings that have been completed or are under way, such as an airport, new roads, public transport systems, a new city and hotels that will be hosting the big game.

Death records are not explicit in terms of the deceased occupation or place of work, but it's probable that many of those who died were employed on the World Cup's infrastructure projects, according to Nick McGeehan, a director at FairSquare Projects, a labor rights advocacy group. “A very significant proportion of the migrant workers who have died since 2011 were only in the country because Qatar won the right to host the World Cup,” McGeehan said.

There have been 37 deaths among workers directly linked to construction of World Cup stadiums. Of these, 34 are categorized as "non-work related" as per the event's organizing committee, who has skin in the game of not looking responsible for the deaths.

But some experts have questioned the use of the term "non-work related" is accurate as it has, at least in some cases, been used to describe deaths which have occurred on the job, including a number of migrant workers who have collapsed and died on stadium construction sites.

The findings expose Qatar’s inability or indifference to protect its 2 million-strong migrant workforce, or even investigate the causes of the high rate of death among the largely young workers, many of whom were the main breadwinners of their respective families.

In one case, Ghal Singh Rai from Nepal paid nearly £1,000 in recruitment fees for his job as a cleaner in a camp for workers building the Education City World Cup stadium. Within a week of arriving, he killed himself. 

The family of Madhu Bollapally of India never understood how the healthy 43-year old died of “natural causes” while working in Qatar. His body was found lying on his dorm room floor.

Many deaths were caused by blunt injuries due to falls from height. Others were caused by hanging, and undetermined deaths were due to decomposition of the bodies. 

The most common cause thus far, is listed as "natural deaths" often attributed to acute heart or respiratory failure.

Based on the data obtained by the outlet: 69% of deaths among Indian, Nepali and Bangladeshi workers are categorized as natural. Among Indians alone, the figure is 80%.

The Guardian has previously reported that such classifications, which are usually made without an autopsy, often fail to provide a legitimate medical explanation for the underlying cause of these deaths.

In 2019 it found that  Qatar’s intense summer heat is likely to be a significant factor in many worker deaths and the findings were supported by research commissioned by the UN's International Labor Organization. The research showed that for at least four months of the year workers faced significant heat stress when working outside.

Even the Qatar government’s own lawyers in 2014 recommended that a study be commissioned to look into the deaths of migrant workers from cardiac arrest, and amend the law to “allow for autopsies … in all cases of unexpected or sudden death.”

The government has done neither.

Since Sharia [Islamic law] is the primary source of Qatari legislation, according to their Constitution, perhaps they can use the stadiums that will be left standing after the World Cup is done for that purpose.

For example, if a Qatari Muslim woman commits adultery with a non-Muslim man [a kaffir], she can be given her 100 lashes at mid-field. If a Muslim man has an alcoholic drink, he can get his 40 lashes by the goal post of his choice.

Man busted for butt-hiding gold

Mangalore, India -- An Indian gentleman was arrested at the Mangalore Airport Saturday for being caught with his pants down and then being found to have gold concealed in his nether regions [aka boof, aka hockey box]. Smuggling gold to avoid paying the 18% tax is certainly not a novel idea, but in this case, it was more than simply a pain in the Don Lemon.

The Times of India reported that the traveler is from Kasarago, Kerala on his way home from Dubai. He was pulled aside after completing his return flight and after additional screening, it was discovered that he was carrying .0587 kg of 24 carat gold paste in his truffle tunnel.

The gold was seized and the passenger arrested under India's stinking local smuggling laws.

Last year a brazen dude was caught with TWO POUNDS of gold in his out-pipe. Two. Freaking. Pounds.

That's gotta hurt, especially getting caught.

India: Islamist plotted to poison food offered at Hindu temple--40,000 could have died

India -- How much hatred can a person have, and how can a so-called religion of peace call for the murder of about 40,000 people? Thankfully the plot was foiled.

Jihad poisoning attempts aren't new--al Qaeda has a history where they pondered the contamination of food as a mass murder tactic. And in 2017, ISIS encouraged Muslims to poison food in Western supermarkets and at grocery stores.

In Britain, it happened at least twice. In one case, shop owners unwittingly sold chocolate cake sprinkled with human feces.

Poison is probably the most cowardly way to kill, short of having someone else kill for you. 

We know that jihadis have long wanted to poison public water supply. In 2002, federal agents arrested two Muslim jihadis who were carrying plans about how to go about this process. The following year, Al-Qaeda threatened to poison water supplies in the West, and this also happened in 2011 in Spain.

Seven Muslim "chemical engineers" were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir, a key supply for Boston, in 2013. In June, a month later, locks were cut at the aqueduct that supplies water to Greater Boston.

Canada has also faced the same attacks on the water supply. Jihadists were caught in May 2013 who were planning to poison the air and water supply to murder up to 100,000 Canucks. 

And this goes on and on in the USA.

But now it has come to India, home of snake charmers, cricket and my dear wife.

Zee News, July 25, 2019 reported that "[T]he Maharashtra anti-terror squad has foiled a plot by terrorists to poison the ‘mahaprasad’ of the famous Mumbreshwar Mahadev temple in Thane district. A terror suspect named Talha Potrick has hatched the conspiracy to poison the prasad.

"The Maharashtra ATS got the information about the plot during the questioning of 10 suspects, who allegedly had links with dreaded terrorist group Islamic State. The information was furnished by the ATS in the chargesheet against them filed on Monday."

So jihad is everywhere and the media and certain members of Congress say that it's our fault. But at least the Maharashtra Anti Terror Squad is a better squad than some others.

US pulls military from Libya as fighting approaches Tripoli

Tripoli, Libya -- The United States has for the time being, withdrawn some of our military forces from Libya due to "security conditions on the ground," a top military official said. As it now stands, a Libyan commander's forces are advancing toward Tripoli, the capital, and are clashing with rival militias.

A small number of American troops has been in Libya in recent years. Their mission it to help local forces combat Islamic State and al-Qaida militants, as well as protecting diplomatic facilities.

"The security realities on the ground in Libya are growing increasingly complex and unpredictable," Marine Corps General Thomas Waldhauser, the head of US Africa Command, said.

"Even with an adjustment of the force, we will continue to remain agile in support of existing US strategy."

Gen. Waldhauser didn't provide details on the number of US troops that have been withdrawn or how many remain in the country, but if we wait long enough, the someone in government or media will leak it.

India has also evacuated a small contingent of peacekeepers and now it's quite likely that the remaining food in Libya for the military will be bland and tasteless.

The Indian foreign minister, Sushma Swaraj, said the country's 15 Central Reserve Police Force peacekeepers were evacuated Saturday from Tripoli because the "situation in Libya has suddenly worsened" and fighting has moved into the capital city.

The self-styled Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter, launched a surprise offensive against the capital last week, a move that could potentially drag the country back into civil war. Libya has been gripped by unrest since the 2011 uprising that overthrew and killed long-time dictator and dramatic fop, Moammar Gadhafi.

In recent years, the country has been governed by rival authorities in the east and in Tripoli, in the west, each backed by various armed groups. "It's a mess," an anonymous source told Brain Flushings.

Fayez Sarraj, head of government in Tripoli, accused Hifter of "betraying" him.

"We have extended our hands towards peace, but after the aggression that has taken place on the part of forces belonging to Hifter and his declaration of war against our cities and our capital ... he will find nothing but strength and firmness," al-Sarraj said Saturday in televised comments, followed by a commercial for My Pillow.

Sarraj and Hifter held talks in Abu Dhabi in late February, their first confirmed meeting since November 2018, when they agreed that national elections were necessary, according to the UN, but alas, it doesn't look good for democracy after all.

Hifter is seeking to capture the capital and seize military control of the whole country before UN-sponsored talks due to start next week that were designed to set a time frame for possible elections in the oil-rich country.

"Elections are overrated," Hifter said.

The airport was destroyed in a previous round of fighting in 2014. Hifter said his forces had launched airstrikes targeting rival militias on the outskirts of Tripoli.

The rival militias [aka "The Good Guys"], which are affiliated with a UN-backed government in Tripoli, said they had also carried out airstrikes, slowing Hifter's advance.

Armed groups behind the UN-backed government of national accord, or GNA, have announced an effort to defend Tripoli, vowing to recapture all areas seized by Hifter's forces.


Col. Mohamed Gnounou, a spokesman for GNA forces, said in televised comments Sunday that the counteroffensive, dubbed "Volcano of Anger," was aimed at "purging all Libyan cities of aggressor and illegitimate forces." 

Hifter, for his part, calls his offensive "Lava of Revenge."

Study: The Green New Deal would only cost over $650,000 per household or $93 trillion

If you counted by ones at one second intervals, it would take 31,709.8 years to count to a trillion. At around this period of time, besides modern humans, there were three hominin species: Neanderthals in Europe and western Asia, the good old Denisovans in Asia, and the "hobbits" from the island of Flores in Indonesia. Yes, the hobbits.

If you consider that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal (a massive government spending deal, that is projected to cost up to $93 trillion) would take 2,949,011.4 years to count to 93 trillion using one second increments, you get a sense of just how much money AOC wants to invest in a silly deal that calls for: the elimination of "farting cows," total refitting or rebuilding of all structures in the USA to make them green, the end of all fossil fuel vehicles as well as nuclear energy options.

Bloomberg reports that Ocasio-Cortez's far-left plan would "tally between $51 trillion and $93 trillion over 10-years, concludes American Action Forum, which is run by Douglas Holtz-Eakin, who directed the non-partisan CBO from 2003 to 2005." But if we can get the deal in place, kill all the cows, refit or rebuild all U.S. structures and somehow find enough paper to print $93 trillion, we can avoid the end of the world in 2031.

Except for India and China. We would need to destroy their coal mines and kill India's sacred cows, which might lead to a war, because these countries add to the immense global warming Ocasio-Cortez assures us we face. 

But the Green New Deal isn't merely about the weather--it's about universal health care, green housing, guaranteed jobs, a living wage for people who cannot or refuse to work,  food security and net zero emissions. 

What she knows about energy and carbon emissions could easily fill a thimble.

"The Green New Deal is clearly very expensive," the group noted in its analysis. "Its further expansion of the federal government’s role in some of the most basic decisions of daily life, however, would likely have a more lasting and damaging impact than its enormous price tag." 

The damaging impact is due to the fact that socialism requires redistribution of wealth and that requires robbing the rich to give to people who didn't earn the wealth. Guns are often required to impose socialism and it's best to keep them out of the hands of those who are being robbed.

The damaging report comes after Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats told lawmakers earlier this month that the $20 trillion-plus in existing U.S. national debt represents the greatest threat to U.S. national security.

Ocasio-Cortez's "LOL-out" of the Green New Deal was a cluster****, as documents posted to her congressional website spoke of the need to reduce cow farts and the need to provide for those who were "unwilling to work."

Saikat Chakrabarti, Ocasio-Cortez's chief of staff and outed Hindu cow eater, later admitted that those statements were real and were made in a "frequently asked questions" (FAQ) document that he claimed was "clearly unfinished," "doesn’t represent the GND [Green New Deal]," and was "published to the website by mistake." 

Question: If they were 'clearly unfinished,' why weren't new FAQs posted since? Answer: because they were clearly finished but once these idiots were caught and embarrassed by their stupidity and lack of research, they went into balderdash mode.

Ocasio-Cortez sought to deflect criticism of her plan by falsely promoting a conspiracy theory that the Republican Party was doctoring her Green New Deal and was injecting doctored versions of it into the media because her plan was "so strong." She always attacks, lies and defames when facts are pointed out about her lack of substance in her thinking.

"When your #GreenNewDeal legislation is so strong that the GOP has to resort to circulating false versions, but the real one nets 70 House cosponsors on Day 1 and all Dem presidential candidates sign on anyway," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. 

Yes, her #GreenNewDeal legislation is so strong that her fellow Democrats put their hands in their pockets, whistled a catchy tune, and walked away nonchalantly pretending not to hear questions being asked of them by reporters.

The "false versions" AOC was referring to were parody versions of the Green New Deal that were posted by major Twitter accounts that are known for promoting parody content. She likely knew this but needed to pretend otherwise.

The specific example from the parody document that drew Ocasio-Cortez's anger was a section that said people should recycle their own urine. But she was secretly thinking, "Hey, I should have thought of that."

Ocasio-Cortez's climate change hysteria is so screwed up that she suggested on Sunday that people should consider not having kids because it's a "scientific consensus" that life will be hard for them in the future.

She also claimed, without a shred of evidence, that current proposals supported by the Democratic Party to combat climate change are "frankly going to kill us."

In other words, for AOC, if the country doesn't go totally socialist, WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Like if Donald Trump becomes president; or G.W. Bush; or if we forget to separate our plastic from paper from kitchen garbage.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: 'We are all going to die from changes in the weather'

Alexandria Virginia Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) [who will hereafter be referred to as OC] is so bubbly and all over the news with another brilliant pontification in her field of expertise: climatology. Or is is cosmetology? I forget which.

The congresswoman-elect is taking no prisoners as she doubles down on her first week's agenda in Congress whereby she calls on her colleagues in the House to pass a "Green New Deal," onnaconna [because] "people are going to die from climate change."

Let's not minimize her qualifications to make such a bold statement. OC came in second place in high school in the 2007 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, so she knows a thing or two about global climate and other stuff too. Asteroid 23238 Ocasio-Cortez was named after her and I don't believe she had to pay to have it done.

OC cited a report by the U.S. Global Change Research Program released Friday, which is a voluntary committee of scientists from 13 various federal agencies and outside pressure groups, that warned thousands would die, and the US could suffer an enormous 10% reduction in its GNP by the end of the century if human refuse to curb their carbon footprints.

She isn't totally wrong--global warming exists, and humans contribute to it, but it isn't clear how much we do, or what we can do to curb it, certainly if we don't have the cooperation of the other global polluters such as China, Russia and India for starters.

The worst global offender is China, but OC doesn't have a clue as to what foreign policy recommendations we can make to assuage the problem across the globe.

In addition, I don't believe being a googly-eyed alarmist is going to change anything. Nor will OC's socialism do anything to solve the problem.

By the way, a recent NASA report stated that global temperatures have actually dropped over the last two years by about a half degree celsius.
