A Space X Rocket Will Soon Crash Into the Moon with the Power of Millions of Firecrackers

A decommissioned SpaceX rocket that got off course is expected to slam into the moon at 5,400 miles per hour on Wednesday morning.

The impact will generate an explosion equivalent to 15,000 sticks of dynamite, which is
roughly 140–150 million standard (legal consumer) firecrackers, based on approximate TNT-equivalent energy/blast comparisons—though the two are not directly equivalent because of fundamental differences in how they release energy. Still, that's a lot of boom for the buck.

The upper stage of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will probably hit the moon at 2:35 a.m. ET on Wednesday. It has been floating for 19 months in a high orbit around Earth that crosses the moon’s path. Usually, this part of the rocket goes into a long oval orbit around Earth. Then it is brought back down, burns up in the atmosphere, and falls into a far-away part of the ocean. But the pull of gravity from Earth, the moon, and the sun slowly changed the rocket’s path.

This rocket helped launch commercial landers to the moon before it was taken out of service. Julianna Scheiman is the director of NASA science and Dragon programs at SpaceX. She said the company did “a different maneuver [than de-orbiting] to ensure that the second stage itself is safe per the appropriate rules and regulations.”

“What has happened is, essentially, a mixture of solar activity and gravity forces have put it on a path towards the moon,” Scheiman added. Astronomer Bill Gray was the first to predict the date and time of the crash. He thinks the impact will release as much energy as 15,000 sticks of dynamite and will create a big cloud of debris.

Even though the crash is powerful, scientists say it will be too faint and too quick to see with the naked eye from Earth.

NASA says the crash is not a danger to Earth. The agency “will continue to track the booster for training purposes, as well as later observe the impact site for scientific purposes.” Los Alamos National Laboratory researcher Benjamin Fernando said that the collision “provides an opportunity to test pipelines for measuring flash properties to locate impact events seismically, and to better understand the multi-modal hazards posed to future lunar infrastructure and astronauts from space debris impacting the moon.”

The crater from the crash should be about 90 feet wide and 16 feet deep. NASA will aim its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter at the site before and after the hit. This is a robotic spacecraft that maps the moon. This will be only the second time a used rocket has hit the moon by accident.

In 2022, a Chinese rocket booster smashed into the far side of the moon. At first, researchers thought it was a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Later they found out it was China’s Long March 3C rocket. That rocket had launched a mission around the moon in October 2014.

As NASA gets ready to keep people on the moon for a long time, it will be more important to deal with space junk in orbit around the moon. Future crashes could throw debris off the moon’s surface. That could create dangers for astronauts, spacecraft, and equipment operating nearby.

Bidy of NM nuclear lab worker discovered by hiker

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has raised concerns about what he describes as a "sinister" pattern involving the deaths and disappearances of 11 U.S. scientists connected to nuclear, aerospace, and defense research. Former FBI agent Nicole Parker has examined the unusual cases, pointing to troubling details such as missing cell phones and erased digital data. In a separate case, an Iranian national was arrested for allegedly trafficking drones and weapons on behalf of Iran, drawing attention to serious national security issues affecting both the White House and NASA.

One of the 11 individuals who had mysteriously disappeared and who may have had connections to U.S. nuclear secrets or rocket technology has now been found. A hiker discovered the body in a national forest in New Mexico.

Authorities identified the remains as those of Melissa Casias, 54, an employee of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Her disappearance became part of broader speculation surrounding scientists and laboratory-affiliated personnel who had either vanished or died under unclear circumstances. These incidents attracted the attention of President Donald Trump and prompted an investigation by the House Oversight Committee.

According to a Facebook post issued late Saturday night by the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau (NMSPBI), a hiker found Casias' remains on Thursday in the McGaffey Ridge area of Carson National Forest. A handgun was found beside her body.

"The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined," police stated. Authorities added that the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) identified the remains as those of Casias and is conducting a "further anthropological examination."

Casias, who lived in Taos, New Mexico, worked at LANL alongside Anthony Chavez. Los Alamos National Laboratory is one of the nation's leading nuclear research facilities. Both Casias and Chavez were among the individuals whose disappearances were considered suspicious in FBI and House Oversight Committee investigations.

"The New Mexico State Police extend their deepest condolences to the Casias and Mondragon families during this difficult time," the agency said in its statement.

Police reported that Casias was declared missing on June 25, 2025, after she failed to arrive at work and did not return home following a visit to her daughter at work. Family members later discovered that she had left behind her purse, identification, and cell phones, raising concerns for her safety and leading to a missing persons investigation.

State police emphasized that the investigation remains active and ongoing.

In an April 20 letter addressed to FBI Director Kash Patel, the House Oversight Committee stated that it was examining "recent unconfirmed public reporting" suggesting that individuals connected to "U.S. nuclear secrets or rocket technology" had either disappeared or died in recent years.

"Public reports raise questions about a possible sinister connection between a string of mysterious deaths and disappearances which began in 2023," House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., and Rep. Eric Burlison, (R-MO) wrote in a request for information from federal agencies.

According to the committee's statement, the reported cases included two individuals connected to Los Alamos National Laboratory, two affiliated with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, an MIT scientist involved in nuclear fusion research who was shot by the Brown University mass shooter, a pharmaceutical researcher, and a government contractor employed at a facility that produces components for nuclear weapons.

Authorities have not established any connection between Casias' death and the other cases. Officials have suggested that the incidents are likely unrelated, and the House committee noted that the reports under review remain unconfirmed.

Steven Garcia, 48, an employee of the Kansas City National Security Campus, was reported missing on August 28, 2025, after leaving his Albuquerque home on foot carrying only a handgun.

Casias' disappearance had previously led New Mexico authorities to issue a Missing Endangered Advisory after she was last seen in the Taos area. She was 53 years old at the time she disappeared.

The discovery of her remains in Carson National Forest brings the search for Casias to an end. However, investigators are still working to determine how she died and to identify the owner of the handgun found beside her body.

NASA announces first PC-LGBTQ spacewalk

The following is satire.

NASA announced Tuesday that the international Space Station's two cis women along with a transgender woman, a transgender man, a gay man, a lesbian, an African-American woman, an Asian, a Muslim woman, a Muslim man, a Native American transgender woman, an Indian, a small person, and a queer will be taking a diversity spacewalk when they all decide upon the best time.

After a small setback due to a lack of LGBTQ2+4-34/7 volunteers, NASA announced that the first politically correct spacewalk will commence later this month with a time to be announced.

Astronauts Christina Koch [absolutely no relation to the Koch brothers or former NYC Mayor, the late Ed Koch] and Jessica Meir [no relation to Golda Meir, the late, great Israeli Prime Minister], along with the rest of the diverse group, will venture out into the loneliness of space around October 21st, if they can all agree on the date and time. Ostensibly, the walk will be used to upgrade the Duracell batteries and the solar power system.

However, the first venture out will be Sunday whereby Koch will go out with Andrew Morgan, a cis male who will not be included in the diversity spacewalk.

One of the problems with the spacewalks for cis women is the spacesuits tend to be too large. NASA astronaut Anne McClain wore a large-sized spacesuit to conduct her first spacewalk but after seeing video of her adventure, she broke down in tears. "The suit made by ass look so large," she cried.

The new suits will be a sight to see: the transgender women's suits will be multicolored have gold glitter; the suit for the gay gentleman will fit perfectly and be quite stylish; the Native American spacesuit will have decorative red, white and blue feathers for epaulettes; the Muslim woman's suit will have a cloth helmet with a faux hairpiece in the rear of her head; the Muslim man's suit will have a external vest with canisters to hold cylindrical shaped objects; the queer person's suit will have a trap flap in back for emergencies; and the small person's suit will be short and small overall.

While NASA’s deputy chief astronaut Megan McArthur appreciates the cultural and diverse milestones that will be taking place leader this month, she urged reporters that women, transgender folks, gays, lesbians, African-Americans, Native Americans, Asians, Muslims and queers are well-represented in all-levels at NASA.

Kamala Harris not concerned about our money for GND cost

Democratic presidential Kamala Harris is not concerned about your money when it comes to funding the Green New Deal and "Medicare-for-all." It isn't her money and as far as she's concerned, white folks can fork it over and even pay reparations to black Americans for "200 years of slavery," Harris said, as if it was still going on.

The estimated costs for all the crazy proposals, including getting rid of farting cows, gas-driven cars and planes, and our use of all fossil fuels in the next ten years, are estimated to be in the neighborhood of trillions of dollars for each unprecedented proposal, as determined by a nonpartisan study.

Harris, (D-CA) joined Sens. Elizabeth Warren, (D-MA), and Cory Booker, (D-NJ) to co-sponsor the Green New Deal resolution earlier this month.

The resolution's botched rollout included the release of an official document by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's [aka Alexandria Occasionally Coherent-Commie] office that promised economic security even for those "unwilling to work," as well as the elimination of "farting cows" and air travel.

Brilliant.

"There's no question we have to be practical. But being practical also recognizes that climate change is an existential threat to us as human beings," Harris bloviated. "Being practical recognizes that greenhouse gas emissions are threat to our air, and threatening our planet. And that it is well within our capacity as human beings to change our behaviors in a way that we can reduce its effect. That's practical. Of course we can afford it."

So we're back to considering Ocasio-Cortez's farting cows because they release methane, a greenhouse gas.

NASA methane in the atmosphere:

Methane is a hydrocarbon gas that is produced via natural sources and human activities, including the decomposition of wastes in landfills, agriculture, and especially rice cultivation as well as ruminant digestion and manure management associated with domestic livestock. On a molecule-for-molecule basis, methane is a far more active greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but also one which is much less abundant in the atmosphere. [My italics]

But if the U.S. only accounts for 15 percent of global emissions while India and China account for a much larger amount, then we must consider bombing the crap out of their coal mines to save the planet.

And let us not forget the reserves in the other top oil producing countries: Saudi Arabia, Russia, Canada, China, Iran, Iraq, the UAE, Brazil and Kuwait. If we stop producing oil, these other nations will fill the vacuum to grow their economies. We need to bomb the crap out of them lest America take a back seat to the world economy.

Okay, maybe not Canada, eh, but the others for sure. After all, Harris and AOC know that we have a mere twelve years before the world comes to an end and we want to enjoy the two years left if we can implement the GND.
The Comedy News Network's John King asked Harris, the former California prosecutor who screwed her way to the Senate, for her response to conservative arguments that progressive proposals could end up doing more harm than good, by crippling the U.S. economy.
According to the Mercatus Center at George Washington University, for example, the economically illiterate Ocasio-Cortez's plan for universal Medicare would end up costing more than $30 trillion, even after factoring in the sweeping tax hikes that would offset the expense by only roughly $2 trillion.

Charles Blahous, a senior strategist at the Mercatus Center and an author of the study, later explained that AOC had wildly misinterpreted his study to try to argue that "Medicare-for-all" would save money, because she is better at mixing a Manhattan than representing Queens and the Bronx.

"One of the things that I admire and respect is the measurement that is captured in three letters: ROI," Harris said. "What's the return on investment? People in the private sector understand this really well. It's not about a cost. It's about an investment. And then the question should be, is it worth the cost in terms of the investment potential? Are we going to get back more than we put in?"

You can't invest more than what you have. We'd end up printing more money or borrowing. If you increase the national debt to the degree necessary to even begin to consider this ridiculous idea, we would GND ourselves in a totally bankrupt economy. No country would honor our money or want to do business with us.

The Green New Deal push has seen resistance not only from Republicans, but also some key Democrats. Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), was asked about the plan to replace planes with high-speed rail and did not seem impressed.

“That would be pretty hard for Hawaii,” she laughed, because it's a stupidly naive idea.

House Speaker Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi similarly appeared to dismiss the plan because Californians live in their cars.

“It will be one of several or maybe many suggestions that we receive,” Pelosi told Politico. “The green dream, or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, but they’re for it, right?”

"The Green New Deal? I see it as aspirational. I see it as a jump-start," Amy "Ranch Dressing" Klobuchar said on "Special Report with Bret Baier" earlier this month. "So I would vote yes [on the Green New Deal resolution], but I would also -- if it got down to the nitty-gritty of an actual legislation, as opposed to, 'Oh, here's some goals we have' -- uh, that would be different for me."

In other words, Klobuchar doesn't want to commit to anything and will dance around most issues and chose the issue most popular at the moment if she choses at all.

But Harris said she was looking forward to hashing out the dispute with her rivals in public, during one of the 12 planned Democratic primary debates. Harris added that she enjoys hashing out issues almost as much as she enjoys hash and listening to Snoop Dog and Tupac.

"I look forward to that debate on the debate stage," Harris said. "I look forward to it very much."

In terms of the 2020 debate, the White House hopes that socialism will be the main issue for the Democrats with their call for higher minimum wage and universal benefits, perhaps even for those who refuse to work.

But Harris emphasizes that her main concern is the concerns of everyday Americans, excluding white people, who she says should have to pay black people for being black and victimized several hundred years ago by not them.

The big question is: will former President Obama have to pay his black self reparations by his white self? Will most Americans, those whose families have come to America after slavery still have to pay black Americans whose ancestors had not come to America before slavery?

The whole question is immoral when you are made to pay for the crimes you didn't personally commit. But let's face it, the whole idea is vote-fodder for the greedy who believe it's okay.

NASA admits aliens may have already visited Earth [photos included]

The National Aeronautical Space Administration admits that "tiny super-intelligent" aliens may have already visited Earth and they say some UFO sightings "cannot be explained or denied."

One scientist admits it's quite possible they've come to Earth but we just didn't notice them. He added that scientists should be more open-minded about the possibility of alien visitors.

For years, NASA has been investing in SETI, the "search for extraterrestrial intelligence" – better known as aliens.

In a recently publisher paper on SETI, Professor Silvano P. Colombano suggested that alien life may have already visited us. He believes that one of them may be living in his garbage disposal unit, but his investigations are still under way for the proof.

He suggested that aliens could look entirely different from how we expect, and that they may be able to travel huge distances – because we simply can't comprehend their make-up or technology. To get here from any possible habitable planet within a reasonable amount of time, they would need to go close to, or above the speed of light.

That's flat out honking along, dude.

"I simply want to point out the fact that the intelligence we might find and that might choose to find us (if it hasn’t already) might not be at all be produced by carbon based organisms like us," Colombano said.

"How might that change the above assumptions about interstellar travel? Our typical life-spans would no longer be a limitation (although even these could be dealt with multi-generational missions or suspended animation), and the size of the 'explorer' might be that of an extremely tiny super-intelligent entity."

According to Professor Colombano, scientists are too preoccupied with modern human technology. This, he says, makes it hard for us to imagine technology that could have been produced by aliens living on planets older than Earth.

He said "we need to re-visit even our most cherished assumptions," including that "interstellar travel is impossible or highly unlikely."

"Considering further that technological development in our civilisation started only about 10,000 years ago and has seen the rise of scientific methodologies only in the past 500 years, we can surmise that we might have a real problem in predicting technological evolution even for the next thousand years, let alone 6 million times that amount," the over-caffeinated professor explained.

He added: "Even if the speed of light continues to be an unbreakable barrier, over spans of thousands of years civilizations could probably make interstellar journeys."

In his paper, titled New Assumptions to Guide SETI Research, Professor Colombano said that recent discoveries of Earth-like planets by the Kepler space telescope offered hope.

He said this should prompt NASA to "focus our attention on detecting signs of life and technology in specific planetary systems."

Professor Colombano is advocating a more "aggressive approach" to the search for alien life and I believe we've found it:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: 'We are all going to die from changes in the weather'

Alexandria Virginia Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) [who will hereafter be referred to as OC] is so bubbly and all over the news with another brilliant pontification in her field of expertise: climatology. Or is is cosmetology? I forget which.

The congresswoman-elect is taking no prisoners as she doubles down on her first week's agenda in Congress whereby she calls on her colleagues in the House to pass a "Green New Deal," onnaconna [because] "people are going to die from climate change."

Let's not minimize her qualifications to make such a bold statement. OC came in second place in high school in the 2007 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, so she knows a thing or two about global climate and other stuff too. Asteroid 23238 Ocasio-Cortez was named after her and I don't believe she had to pay to have it done.

OC cited a report by the U.S. Global Change Research Program released Friday, which is a voluntary committee of scientists from 13 various federal agencies and outside pressure groups, that warned thousands would die, and the US could suffer an enormous 10% reduction in its GNP by the end of the century if human refuse to curb their carbon footprints.

She isn't totally wrong--global warming exists, and humans contribute to it, but it isn't clear how much we do, or what we can do to curb it, certainly if we don't have the cooperation of the other global polluters such as China, Russia and India for starters.

The worst global offender is China, but OC doesn't have a clue as to what foreign policy recommendations we can make to assuage the problem across the globe.

In addition, I don't believe being a googly-eyed alarmist is going to change anything. Nor will OC's socialism do anything to solve the problem.

By the way, a recent NASA report stated that global temperatures have actually dropped over the last two years by about a half degree celsius.

NASA: 'Potentially hazardous' asteroid headed toward Earth

Look up at the sky . . . it's a bird . . . it's a plane . . . it's a freaking asteroid!

The 2002AJ129 asteroid has been classified as a "potentially hazardous" asteroid that will buzz past the Earth (hopefully) on February 4th, honking along at a mere 67,000 mph. That's faster than a speeding bullet and about 15 times faster than our fastest manned aircraft.

This asteroid is huge. It's larger than Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building in Dubai. In Islam, Khalifa means "deputy" "successor," or "steward" and most commonly refers to the leader of a Caliphate such as Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, the religious leader of ISIS.

The asteroid is around 0.7 miles wide (1.1 km) and will pass by Earth at a distance of  about 2, 615,128 miles and 15 inches (if calculations are correct) which is considered close in astrophysical terms.

NASA describes any asteroid as being "hazardous" if it comes within 4,600,000 miles from our planet.

If somehow it hits Earth, the rock would plunge us into a mini-ice age which would destroy the global warming theories and possibly cause Al Gore to commit suicide. The impact alone would cause world temperatures to fall by as much as 8 degrees C, and would likely last several years. The world would become a colder and drier place, unless it hits a Middle East country other than Israel, in which case the world would become more modern on average.

In the worst case scenario, soot would remain in the atmosphere for about 10 years, but NASA does not believe this asteroid will hit the Earth.

In order to prevent an asteroid from colliding with Earth, the velocity of the rock must be reduced by less than an inch per second years in advance of the impact.

NASA is currently working on building a small spacecraft (about the size of NFL player William Perry, aka "The Refrigerator") capable of preventing asteroids from hitting our planet. A test of this system is planned for 20204 with a non-threatening asteroid. Let's just hope NASA doesn't rub it the wrong way and make it a threatening asteroid.

The Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) would use what's known as a kinetic impactor technique, as it strikes the asteroid to shift its orbit.

"As of December 24, there are 17,495 known Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) around our planet; 17,389 are asteroids," according to NASA.

In February 2013, a 62 foot meteor exploded over the skies of Chelyabinsk, Russia. The energy was equivalent to about 500,000 tons of TNT and the meteor injured more than 1,000 people.

BIG UPDATE: Rogue planet heading toward Brooklyn etc.

Actual fake photo of Nibiru
Don't buy any green bananas because if conspiracy theorists are correct, as they always are (in their own minds), a rogue planet that goes by the name Nibiru (aka Planet X) is heading our way like a bat out of hell.

Schools across the world are having children hiding under their desks for protection, much like they did in the 1950s when we worried that Russia was going to nuke us. Those desks were the last vestige of protection for the kids.

The time of impact is to be during this weekend, so you can forget about any Thanksgiving plans you may have had and find a good, solid public school desk to hide under.

Conspiracy theorists say  Nibiru will screw up Earth's orbit on Sunday and bring about a series of huge earthquakes that could bring back the dinosaurs and kill the rest of life. The only creatures that stands a remote chance of survival is the standard cockroach and the doodlebug.

Nibiru was originally scheduled to destroy our world on September 23, according to a crazy Christian "numerologist," whose numerical count was evidently off. This expert "numerologist" said the rogue planet was actually going to collide with Earth, not just do a fly-by.

But lo and behold, that day came and went and nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Now "theorists" (who make their living serving fries and burgers) say that Nibiru will come so close to Earth that it will smell our fear and screw up our gravitational forces.

It will not only bring fire and brimstone, it will cause the seas to rise and farts to smell like flowers.

Nibiru is a make believe planet located on the outer edges of our solar system (aka "The Outer Limits") and orbits the sun every 3,600 years or so. Some "theorists" believe its gravitational influences have caused Alex Jones to defraud fans out of more money than he deserves. They also think Nibiru has already caused havoc with other planets hundreds of years ago and now it's our turn.

It's also claimed by these "scientists" that this make believe planet sends plasmatic energy particles through our solar system and this energy can disrupt the core flows of the earth and cause dangerous climate change known as global warming (aka the "Al Jazeera Gore Effect").

NASA disagrees.

"There is no credible evidence whatever for the existence of Nibiru," Dr. David Morrison said. Morrison is an actual scientist with NASA and spoke to the U.K's Daily Express, which used to be a Thai takeout joint in London. "There are no pictures, no tracking, no astronomical observations."

Alex Jones disagrees.

Sounding a bit like he recently gargled with heavy-gauge steel wool, Jones said of NASA: "What do those charlatans know? They put 'Doctor' in front of their names and we're supposed to believe them? Bull! I know Nibiru is on its way--I can feel it . . .  It's out there, and it's out to get us. Folks, all we can do now is pray and get under our desks."

Now go have a banana.

UPDATE: It missed.

New Report slams global warming: "Not reality ..."

World leaders, particularly those in the EU, have criticized President Trump for pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement. The agreement would have saddled the US with many billions of dollars in debt and economic losses while other nations didn't need to do much more than shake hands and collect a bunch of money.

Now a new report that analyzed Global Average Surface Temperature (GAST) has blown the doors off Al Gore's private polluting jet. The report, produced by NASA, the NOAA and HADLEY proves Trump was right on target with his refusal to be part of the farce.

According to the report, which was peer reviewed by the EPA, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, several of America's leading universities, administrators and scientists, the data is nothing more than balderdash.

In this research report, the most important surface data adjustment issues are identified and past changes in previous historical data are quantified. It was found that each new version of GAST has nearly always shown a steeper warming linear trend over its entire history.

The conclusive findings are that the three GAST data sets are not a valid representation of reality. In fact, the magnitude of their historical data adjustments, that removed their cyclical temperature patterns, are totally inconsistent with published and credible U.S. and other temperature data.

What this means is that it's impossible to conclude from the three published GAST data sets that the recent years have been the warmest ever, despite the Al Gorean imbeciles claiming record setting warming.

Since GAST data set validity is a necessary condition for the EPA's GHG/CO2 Endangerment Finding, it's also invalidated by these findings, which only shows warming, never cooling as historical data shows. They conveniently left that out.

What this all means is that the data has been falsified and tampered with, but we all know the left will claim that some deniers just want to destroy the earth.

The real data looks a lot like this:

But you'll never get the left to admit it.

So the establishment will continue to push the need for huge, costly initiatives to reduce green house gases and global temperatures to "normal" levels. Even though there is no global warming according to the report.

The best part is that nobody supporting the Paris Climate Agreement and the other initiatives have a clue what their massive regulations will really do to curb climate change--just ask them and watch their eyes glaze over like donuts.

Like Al Jazeera Gore and Bill Nye "the Pseudoscience Guy," I'm not a meteorologist nor an expert on global warming/climate change.

As a realist, however, I don't see an immediate problem here. In fact, I see global warming, if it even exists microscopically, as a good thing, particularly for third world countries where people use toxic materials like cow dung to keep warm.

And anyone who goes to see Gore's sequel to his first fake documentary is going to witness more balderdash.
