Kamala Harris not concerned about our money for GND cost

Democratic presidential Kamala Harris is not concerned about your money when it comes to funding the Green New Deal and "Medicare-for-all." It isn't her money and as far as she's concerned, white folks can fork it over and even pay reparations to black Americans for "200 years of slavery," Harris said, as if it was still going on.

The estimated costs for all the crazy proposals, including getting rid of farting cows, gas-driven cars and planes, and our use of all fossil fuels in the next ten years, are estimated to be in the neighborhood of trillions of dollars for each unprecedented proposal, as determined by a nonpartisan study.

Harris, (D-CA) joined Sens. Elizabeth Warren, (D-MA), and Cory Booker, (D-NJ) to co-sponsor the Green New Deal resolution earlier this month.

The resolution's botched rollout included the release of an official document by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's [aka Alexandria Occasionally Coherent-Commie] office that promised economic security even for those "unwilling to work," as well as the elimination of "farting cows" and air travel.

Brilliant.

"There's no question we have to be practical. But being practical also recognizes that climate change is an existential threat to us as human beings," Harris bloviated. "Being practical recognizes that greenhouse gas emissions are threat to our air, and threatening our planet. And that it is well within our capacity as human beings to change our behaviors in a way that we can reduce its effect. That's practical. Of course we can afford it."

So we're back to considering Ocasio-Cortez's farting cows because they release methane, a greenhouse gas.

NASA methane in the atmosphere:

Methane is a hydrocarbon gas that is produced via natural sources and human activities, including the decomposition of wastes in landfills, agriculture, and especially rice cultivation as well as ruminant digestion and manure management associated with domestic livestock. On a molecule-for-molecule basis, methane is a far more active greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but also one which is much less abundant in the atmosphere. [My italics]

But if the U.S. only accounts for 15 percent of global emissions while India and China account for a much larger amount, then we must consider bombing the crap out of their coal mines to save the planet.

And let us not forget the reserves in the other top oil producing countries: Saudi Arabia, Russia, Canada, China, Iran, Iraq, the UAE, Brazil and Kuwait. If we stop producing oil, these other nations will fill the vacuum to grow their economies. We need to bomb the crap out of them lest America take a back seat to the world economy.

Okay, maybe not Canada, eh, but the others for sure. After all, Harris and AOC know that we have a mere twelve years before the world comes to an end and we want to enjoy the two years left if we can implement the GND.
The Comedy News Network's John King asked Harris, the former California prosecutor who screwed her way to the Senate, for her response to conservative arguments that progressive proposals could end up doing more harm than good, by crippling the U.S. economy.
According to the Mercatus Center at George Washington University, for example, the economically illiterate Ocasio-Cortez's plan for universal Medicare would end up costing more than $30 trillion, even after factoring in the sweeping tax hikes that would offset the expense by only roughly $2 trillion.

Charles Blahous, a senior strategist at the Mercatus Center and an author of the study, later explained that AOC had wildly misinterpreted his study to try to argue that "Medicare-for-all" would save money, because she is better at mixing a Manhattan than representing Queens and the Bronx.

"One of the things that I admire and respect is the measurement that is captured in three letters: ROI," Harris said. "What's the return on investment? People in the private sector understand this really well. It's not about a cost. It's about an investment. And then the question should be, is it worth the cost in terms of the investment potential? Are we going to get back more than we put in?"

You can't invest more than what you have. We'd end up printing more money or borrowing. If you increase the national debt to the degree necessary to even begin to consider this ridiculous idea, we would GND ourselves in a totally bankrupt economy. No country would honor our money or want to do business with us.

The Green New Deal push has seen resistance not only from Republicans, but also some key Democrats. Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), was asked about the plan to replace planes with high-speed rail and did not seem impressed.

“That would be pretty hard for Hawaii,” she laughed, because it's a stupidly naive idea.

House Speaker Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi similarly appeared to dismiss the plan because Californians live in their cars.

“It will be one of several or maybe many suggestions that we receive,” Pelosi told Politico. “The green dream, or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, but they’re for it, right?”

"The Green New Deal? I see it as aspirational. I see it as a jump-start," Amy "Ranch Dressing" Klobuchar said on "Special Report with Bret Baier" earlier this month. "So I would vote yes [on the Green New Deal resolution], but I would also -- if it got down to the nitty-gritty of an actual legislation, as opposed to, 'Oh, here's some goals we have' -- uh, that would be different for me."

In other words, Klobuchar doesn't want to commit to anything and will dance around most issues and chose the issue most popular at the moment if she choses at all.

But Harris said she was looking forward to hashing out the dispute with her rivals in public, during one of the 12 planned Democratic primary debates. Harris added that she enjoys hashing out issues almost as much as she enjoys hash and listening to Snoop Dog and Tupac.

"I look forward to that debate on the debate stage," Harris said. "I look forward to it very much."

In terms of the 2020 debate, the White House hopes that socialism will be the main issue for the Democrats with their call for higher minimum wage and universal benefits, perhaps even for those who refuse to work.

But Harris emphasizes that her main concern is the concerns of everyday Americans, excluding white people, who she says should have to pay black people for being black and victimized several hundred years ago by not them.

The big question is: will former President Obama have to pay his black self reparations by his white self? Will most Americans, those whose families have come to America after slavery still have to pay black Americans whose ancestors had not come to America before slavery?

The whole question is immoral when you are made to pay for the crimes you didn't personally commit. But let's face it, the whole idea is vote-fodder for the greedy who believe it's okay.

I hope you'll follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint. Politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.
