I Got Dem Blues with Obama

Since the re-election of Barack Hussein Obama, I've been blogging much less than during the campaign.  Part of the reason may be due to the fact that this month is NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, and I'm doing my 1667 words per day to get my 50 thousand novel completed by November 30th.  That's the goal.  But another part of the reason I've not been blogging like before has to do with my enthusiasm level, and I suspect I'm not alone when it comes to enthusiasm.

We've watched Fox News, read political blogs that tend to agree with our personal politics, and some of us have written in our own blogs about the failures of this administration and its failures.  In fact, to many of us, it seems inconceivable that anyone, much less the majority of our great country would re-elect a president that has done nothing to improve our economy, our security, and our trust in the government.  In fact, Obama has done the opposite with our economy, our military, and with trust of the government when you consider Benghazi, Fast and Furious, and Solyndra, just to name a few.

Obama won because he, like the mainstream media, is a leftist.  The media will always support the left, attack the right, and leave out what they don't want you to hear.  Those of us on the right know this but we have a lot more information to compare the facts and fictions with because even conservatives can't escape the mainstream new so we get to hear both sides.  Maybe we don't intentionally watch PMSNBC, but we go online where companies like Google and Yahoo lean obviously to the left in their news reportage.

But liberals think news organizations like Breitbart or Fox are biased because they get all of their news from people like Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow, and these people are hypercritical of the right and anyone who represents it politically.  Most of them haven't spent any time actually watching what Bill O'Reilly or Brett Baier has to say, and how they might lean to the right, but at least show both sides.  Try seeing both sides with "Tingles" Matthews--it doesn't happen.

So I've decided to get my mental motor started again and get back down to blogging.  Maybe it'll be sparse this month as I write my novel, tentatively titled Scent of a Movement a parody about Occupy Wall Street, but I've promised myself to get back in the saddle for the new year.

As I write this, Ed Henry of Fox News is talking about how Obama is meeting with certain business leaders like Home Depot and others, and I wonder if he ever feels uneasy over the fact that he never held a real job beyond being a community organizer, never led a company, and never built anything like he claims the builders of this country are also guilty of failing to do.

Call this an early New Year's resolution. It is what it is.

If you get a chance I'd appreciate you visiting the ads in my blog to pay for the ink used here.

The Timing is Perfect

Israel and Hamas are taking a break from war.  If Israel had its way, the break would be forever.  However the truth is, Hamas will hold off killing Jews only as long as they need to, in order to complete their agenda.  But the timing is good.

Mohamed Morsi, Egypt's president, is brokering the deal with Hillary Clinton and the smiles abound for the cameras. The United States cannot broker a deal directly with Hamas because we supposedly do not deal with terrorist organizations, just organizations that support them, like the Muslim Brotherhood.  And it's to Morsi's best interest to cooperate with us if he wants to get anymore money from our taxes, and besides, he can always destroy the Jewish state at a more convenient time--perhaps when the Muslim flag is flying over the White House, like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood have declared will happen.  But Morsi's timing is good as is Hillary's.

Susan Rice spoke to the press today--a day when Americans by the millions are traveling to family and friends and will not be around to watch the news, to attack her attackers regarding the fact that she either lied or was an incompetent fool over her claim that the murders of four Americans in the Benghazi consulate were the direct result of a crappy YouTube video seen by about 300 people world wide.  Can you see how good her timing of this attack was?

Then we had David Patraeus' affair disclosed right after the election.  What are the odds?  James Clapper's flip-flopping makes the Democrat claims of Mitt Romney flip-flopping  look like a flip-flopping clinic by Clapper.  Barely a day went by when he changed his story regarding Benghazi.  But with Hillary dealing with Israel and Egypt instead of testifying on Benghazi, Rice's self-righteous indignation over claims of her ineptness with Benghazi,  and the uncovering of David Petraeus' after the election, is more than coincidental--it shows me the incredible sense of good timing the Democrats have that keeps them in power, keeps them out of prison, and keeps our country going in a downward spiral.

Now Obama has four more years as president and so far, his timing has been impeccable, or should I say 'unimpeachable'?  What do you think will happen?

Please feel free to explore the advertisers on my blog--just check them out and you will help support my blog.  It's called free market capitalism and it works.  "Work," now that's a word liberals should embrace.

Peace out.

Hamas Loves Obama

Hamas is thrilled with the outcome of the American election.  Imagine if Romney won and they had to deal with a president who might actually cancel his appearance on The View to intervene for our ally, Israel.   Hamas knows that Obama is the softest president we've ever had when it comes to dealing with threats to our people and our allies, (Benghazi Benghazi), so once they knew Obama had won, it was a go to attack Israel.

Mohamed Morsi, the president of Egypt, is also happy Obama won.  He knows that if Egypt steps into the conflict and calls for a cease fire by Hamas, his country will still get their yearly pay off and line his pockets with enough shekels to support twelve wives--not that Morsi has twelve wives like the original Mohammed.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad must be ecstatic with the Democratic victory.  In spite of the fact that a larger proportion of American Jews are Democrats, it is this party who exhibits the much more anti-Semitic rhetoric than the Republicans, and the most racist behavior while pointing fingers at conservatives.  But in addition, there seems to be nothing stopping Iran from continuing to enrich uranium and developing an anti-Israeli, anti-West bomb while Obama plays another round of golf.

Meanwhile, the smokescreen is getting thicker with misdirection from the real issues that face us today.  Specifically, why wasn't the consulate in Benghazi properly protected and when attacked, why didn't we send help to save our people?  Why wasn't Obama's orders to "do what is necessary" to help Chris Stevens and the others obeyed?  Why did Obama not know about Petraeus and his mistress until after the election?  And finally, what was Valerie Jarrett's involvement in all this?

What Israel Must Do

Michael Oren, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, was asked by Fox News' Bill Hemmer, what he thought it would take for Israel to not attack Hamas with ground troops in Gaza.  His answer was simple: all that Hamas would need to do would be to stop firing rockets into Israel so that Israeli children can go to school and adults can carry on with their jobs and their lives.  Highly unlikely.

Benjamin Netanyahu once said that if the Palestinians laid down their weapons there would be no war.  But if Israel laid down their weapons, there would be no Israel.  This is absolutely true.

The stated goal of Hamas is for the total destruction of Israel.  It's how they roll and it's a religious mandate by none other than that guy we love to draw, Muhammad, when he dictated the koran to his scribe (Mo was illiterate), and made it clear to the Islamic world that the Jews had to go.  You see, Muhammad was a sore loser and when the Jews refused to believe in his made up religion, along with such hard to accept ideas such as drinking camel urine to cure certain ailments, he became very upset and went on a killing spree that has yet to end.

Now we have the Koran-inspired Hamas terrorists lobbing rockets into Israel.  They lob them from sensitive areas such as schools and mosques.  Israelis have been very sensitive to this and have tried to keep collateral damage at a minimum, but whenever a terrorist-loving civilian or child is killed, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, and The New York Times show graphics of the carnage and report on how heartless Israel is, but it never reports the whole story.  The problem is, while Israel is being politically correct, they are simply prolonging a war that will only end when Hamas is brought to its knees.  This can only happen when moderate Muslims decide that they have had enough of the violence their 'holy book' requires, and this can only happen when the world sees the resolve of the Israeli nation.

Hamas, (or Goliath), started this recent attack against Israel, (or David). They like to hit you but complain when you hit back. They pretend to be the victims in all of this--they've done this since the religion of peace first began--but it is Hamas who are the aggressors.  They cite the Koran as their justification and their goals are clear.  Is the West too dense to understand that Islamic doctrine calls for a world caliphate?  They want the Muslim flag to fly over the White House--they've said that so why don't we believe them?

Israel cannot win this war by being PC and they cannot negotiate with barbarians--they tried that a few years ago by giving up land in Gaza for peace, and look what that got them.  No, Israel  must strike with a vengeance or face a war that will never end, a war that will slowly kill its people one by one.

Bully for Israel

Israel is a big bully.  Just because the country is about the size of Rhode Island (with shrinkage), and is surrounded by Islamic nations (whose religious scripture calls for the death of all Jews) doesn't mean they aren't big bullies.

When a nation's leader takes out the arch enemy of the nation, like Obama did with bin Laden, we all cheer.  But when  Benjamin Netanyahu, a Jew, takes out the military leader of Hamas, a group dedicated to eradicating all of Israel, (men, women, children, babies), the Islamic world is appalled and every anti-Semitic, mindless uninformed student is appalled right along side of these barbarians and call Israel terrorists.  Doesn't this sound a lot like the same tactics used by the left when they accuse the right of what they perpetrate?  Remember Obama telling us how he would be the most "transparent president ever."

Did anyone notice how the mainstream media reported on pregnant Palestinian women who are under attack by the evil Israelis?  But they don't report about the Hamas rockets being launched from their own mosques and schools, knowing the Israelis will not hurt children or religious houses intentionally.   Hamas fires rockets indiscriminately into Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and other cities, hoping to kill Jews, but the mainstream media reports on a Palestinian child killed when Israel fired back.  Obama first said recently that Israel has the right to protect itself, but now doesn't want them protecting themselves on the ground--he probably thinks they should do it with the safety of drones, but they don't have the same luxury as he has.    It's time for payback to those who strike at the only Jewish nation in the world.

My latest novel, Jihad Joe, is about Islamic terrorism and suspense.  In it I challenge the precepts of the religion through my protagonist, Zed Nill, a journalist, captured by terrorists and who is destined to be killed if the American President refuses to release three Gitmo prisoners.  Of course, American policy demands we never give in to terrorists, and for Zed, the clock is ticking.

Wednesday Flushings: Global Warming, Benghazi and the Media

Obama had his first press conference in eight months.  Isn't that great?  He still used his buzz words like middle class, taxing the rich, fair share, middle class--oh, I already said that--but that's his biggest buzz word today.  What about the poor class--he said nothing about them, and what about small business--he's meeting with big business leaders and not with the smaller business leaders.  Not one small business leader was invited to the White House--maybe it's like inviting the enemy to the victory party.  Of course, one of the big business leaders he will meet with is Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of GE, his Jobs Czar.  Imagine a Jobs Czar who created more jobs in China than in the USA.  Immelt--remember that name.

Al Gore, a Nobel Peace Prize winner wants a tax on carbon.  Yes, earth's rectal thermometer wants to tax carbon emissions because he believes that taxing will reduce global warming.  Obama agrees that global warming is caused by human beings and that plastic bags are the scourge of mankind.  He will likely send millions of dollars to paper bag companies that produce each bag at the cost of a nickel and sell for a penny.  He did something like that with Solyndra where the solar cells cost more to manufacture than what they sold for because China makes them cheaper.

But let's get on to Ben Ghazi.  I mean, who is this guy?  I know Obama doesn't want to talk about him so maybe he did something to anger him.  Lots of things anger Obama--Israel, the Catholic Church, Fox News, Mitt Romney and the list is longer than my computer's memory.  Seriously though, it has been over two months and Benghazi is still not being honestly discussed along with the lies told by Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, and yes, President Obama.  Obama became visibly angry when Susan Rice was mentioned regarding Benghazi, and made her sound like a poor, defenseless, little girl instead of US Ambassador to the UN.  The truth is, Rice didn't tell us the truth and the people want to know where she got the information.  She appeared on five talk shows to lie about Benghazi--was this a dress rehearsal for Obama's second term? Was her goal to replace Hillary?  Only her hairdresser knows.

Why did Obama get angrier over the questions about Benghazi that he got from the press, than what the terrorists did to our four Americans?  I believe his strongest allegiance is to himself, not the truth, not America.

Bin Laden is dead, and al Qaeda is alive.

Will the General Betray Us

Bill Clinton had more extramarital affairs than Barack Obama attended Intelligence Committee meetings.  But Clinton didn't resign his presidency; in fact, he fought to keep his job.  David Petraeus, on the other hand, had an extramarital affair with Paula Broadwell, a woman who wrote a book about him aptly titled All In, and he resigns his post as Director of the CIA.  President Obama accepted his resignation just a mere few days before Petraeus is scheduled to testify about the mishandling of Benghazi, which resulted in the unnecessary death of American Ambassador Chris Stevens and 3 other Americans at the hands of Islamic terrorists.  Coincidence?  I don't think so.
All Bomber Jacket, No Bombs

To become Director of the CIA one must be vetted so extensively that the individual up for the post will reveal everything about himself, or have it revealed in the process.  By the time the vetting process is over, they will know everything about you--your hobbies, your childhood friends, their friends, how often your dog goes to pee, and where it does this, for example.  So to say that they just found out about this affair only three days after the election, and just a few days before testimony on Benghazi is scheduled to be heard, makes as much sense as Tom Cruise discussing his feelings about Scientology.

But you can't blame the government.  After all, if the nation as a whole turned out and most people ended up voting for Obama, then they're gullible enough to believe anything they are told to believe just as long as it's being spun to them by the mainstream media or the Daily Show.

My wife told me this morning that she is finally getting over the election results.  She admits that she has been feeling a strong sense of gloom and doom, and I reassured her that she just has a case of them Obama blues.  We both laughed for a few seconds, then became quiet again.  It's serious what has happened, and I'm not sure what the long-term effects are going to be during this lame duck term of his.  I love America but it's in a tailspin.  Canada doesn't even want to do business with us like before because it's wiser for them to work with countries like India and China where they can get more for their products.

Yet I believe that we still will come back after the 'anointed one' is finished socializing us.  We are a strong nation with good people and maybe when he's gone off to that golf course somewhere in Illinois, we can stop hating each other on opposite sides of the aisle.  It has never been this bad in America where liberals and conservatives actually hate each other.  That's what Obama meant by 'revenge.'  How apt and how low this guy who finds himself as president is as his followers gloat from what will become a pyrrhic victory when his policies affect us all.

I find this week so very sad, but I think we have a chance to turn it around.

Now That the Dance is Over

So now we have Benghazi--now that the election is in the books, will the left actually hear about what took place where four Americans were killed?  We know the mainstream media is going to continue to protect the administration but will they at least show responsibility and describe what is actually known about it?

When flaming liberals like Chrissy Matthews says that he's glad the east experienced Hurricane Sandy because it helped Obama get re-elected, do you have any doubts that the mainstream media will continue to withhold what they know about what took place on September 11th in Libya?  Do you have any doubts that Chrissy Matthews is in the bag for BHO?  And New Yorkers and storm victims in New Jersey still voted for Obama even after Matthews was happy for him at their expense.

It feels like America is continually morphing into a Orwellian-like state where the media controls the message and the message supports the left's agenda.  The media, in this case, is also the celebrity media--The View, David Letterman, Leno, Pimp with a Limp, and Oprah (once upon a time).  Obama has made myriad appearances on these entertainment shows where he could show his fans his Colgate smile, his cute wit, and intense intelligence, if you buy the hype.

Benghazi hasn't gone away, however, and we will hopefully get to the bottom of this slaughter.  There are certain facts that seem quite damning to the Obama administration and maybe Darrell Issa and his committee will be able to learn where the responsibility lies.  I know that it doesn't lie with the video, but they lied about the video.

Susan Rice has not been heard from since she stated that it was the video that cause the spontaneous protest that got out of hand.  And Hillary is supposedly leaving office to pursue a career in dusting and sweeping, but Issa wants to have her testify about Benghazi.  Will she?  It depends on how you define the word "testify."

What is Likely to Happen Now

The election is in the books and Barack Hussein Obama has been re-elected as President of the United States, with Joseph Francis Biden re-elected as his Vice President.  The country has shown itself susceptible to the influence of the mainstream media, celebrity endorsements, and free stuff.  Success will now be determined not by one's vocation, but by how well one can fill out government entitlement forms.

Now that Barack has won his second, and hopefully final term, we can bet the house on his unchained socialist policies.  Spending will likely stay the same and our debt will likely continue to increase at astronomical rates.  By the time he is done, Obama should rack up enough debt to keep our progeny in an economic hole for many years into the future.

There will likely be huge government growth and regulations will keep businesses from prospering.  Our dollars will continue to decline and soon it is likely to be on par with Monopoly money.  And speaking of monopolies, the government will likely have one on our power and we will be locked into companies that work best on sunny days and not at all in the night.

Obama will pick winners and losers, except even his winners, like Solyndra, will lose.  The Reverend Jeremiah Wright just might make a comeback now that Barack doesn't need to worry about what we think.

The Muslim Brotherhood, who already have been invited to the White House, may eventually be welcomed as a working partner with the administration as the country will have experienced amnesia about who they really are.  Beware of "Blasphemy Laws" which will only apply to Islam and not to Christianity nor Judaism.

Finally, I have a sneaky suspicion that two terms will not be enough time to steer America into the abyss of socialism--I fear Obama will want more time to "finish the job" and will seek a third term.  Then a fourth.

Be careful, America.  The election may be over, but it ain't over for us yet.

Last Minute Flushings on the Election

Throw Like a Girl Olympics
Mitt is on his way to Columbus Ohio while Barry heads out to play.  Barry likes to play--he plays basketball, he plays golf, and he plays with our money by investing it in what he likes to invest it in--not what we necessarily like.  But his chances of getting re-elected seem pretty good. What does this tell me?

It tells me just how incredibly powerful the leftist media is.  They have continued throughout Obama's dismal four year run, to convince liberals that he's doing a good job and the country is heading in the right direction.  No, no, no--the country is heading in the left direction (said in Reverend Jeremiah Wright's voice, if you can imagine).

Everything Obama said when criticizing George Bush about the economy he has made much worse, but the leftist media doesn't discuss this.  Everything Obama failed to do as a leader has gotten Americans killed in Benghazi, but it took one news outlet, Fox, to get the leftist media to even discuss it, and the cover up will not be discussed until after the election.

Bruce Springsteen has accompanied Obama on the royal jet and sang a song he wrote about Obama.  Like The Boss, our president is a celebrity, not a leader, and cannot honestly claim any success in his four years beyond calling the go-ahead for the SEALs to get bin Laden--even an idiot like Joe Biden would have made that call--wait--he advised Obama against it because it wouldn't look good politically if he screwed it up.  This is the crappy leadership we elected in '08 and I hope, I really pray, that we have learned from our mistake.

If Uncle Joe Was POTUS

People love clowns.  Well, not all people--some are skivvy-soiling scared of clowns--but generally speaking, we tend to laugh at them and enjoy their antics.  Then they become Vice President of the United States of America and we worry that we may have made the mistake of putting them in a position where they're one heartbeat away from the most powerful job on earth.  Such is the case with Joe Biden.

Imagine if Joe Biden was President.  We can laugh at him now because he isn't President, but he well could be and that would be anything but funny.  I can see him now, meeting with Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India, and saying something like, "You know, you guys have the New York City cab drivers market cornered.  Then vot."  Or with Hamid Karzai, "How's it going, Hamid?  I'll have a vanilla cone, please."

We never seem to take the selection for VP all that seriously because we never think our President could somehow be forced out of office by a bullet or poor health, but it happened with William Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, Abe Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, Warren G. Harding, FDR and JFK.  In none of these cases did their Vice President bring the country down the road of perdition or ruin, but if Biden took the helm, I can see us going from first to worst in the world.

So tomorrow, when you vote, compare Joe-the-Village-Idiot-Biden with Paul Ryan.  Vice Presidents do count.

The Not So Calm Before the Election

I almost can't believe that tomorrow is Election Day.   Obama is hoping to keep his job; Romney is hoping to take it and move America in the direction the President promised he would but didn't.  Then you have Joe Biden who is hoping to remain in a job that is way over his head.  He has been campaigning in Ohio at the headquarters of the Electrical Union in an effort to acquire all the electrical votes he can.  Just kidding.  He's actually asleep in his bowl of porridge.  And I ask myself, who would be the person I would want a heartbeat away from the presidency, Ryan or Biden?

Like many Americans, I've been following the election since Obama first began campaigning back in early '09.  It has been a marathon of ideas, mostly socialist ideas,  brought to us by a man whose resume could fit in a tweet.  Then Mitt Romney won the nomination by the GOP and now we have someone who brings years of business and managerial experience to the table.  Stack up those years of Romney success against a celebrity community organizer who, by being black, gave us the opportunity to assuage centuries of racial guilt, and we now have a photo-finish election tomorrow. Or do we?

Liberals still see Obama as a rock star president and that's good enough for them.  They feel good about having him at the helm, but the captain of our ship, America, is lost upon the ocean of decisions, and has no knowledge of the stars in the sky; only the stars in the movies.  And they, these super-wealthy one-percenters, get their egos fed by the Commander in Cheese.

For me, the decision is, much like Joe Biden, a no-brainer.  Do we want a lame duck president who has nothing to lose by forcing the country down the road of socialism, where government outgrows the private sector and the country is owned by China, or do we want actual change that we can believe in?

Limiting Our Freedom, Just in Case

The First Amendment to the US Constitution is written as follows:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The First Amendment was adopted on December 15, 1791 and while its wording refers to prohibitions regarding the US Congress from enacting laws that would challenge our freedom of speech, in 1925 the Supreme Court used Gitlow v. New York to also prohibit the state legislature from dong the same.

Of course, there are exceptions to our freedom of speech and this makes sense.  We cannot legally say things that incite crime or use "fighting words" that could lead to violence.  The First Amendment doesn't allow for child pornography nor seditious speech, but even with the latter, it must be clear that this would be a danger to our country--military secret disclosure falls into this category.  And there are other forms of speech that are not necessarily permitted, like public employee speech.

But there is nothing in our US Constitution that prohibits us from speaking out about religious beliefs, or our opinions regarding pretty much anything.  This would include the use of art in this expression.  We have, for example, artists doing renditions of Jesus covered in urine, Mary engaged in sexual behavior, and so on.  Then there's the Danish cartoonist, Kurt Westergaard, who created a cartoon of Muhammad that shows him wearing a bomb in his turban.  You probably remember the controversy it raised and Westergaard's life was threatened by irate Muslims who look for things to get irate over.  He continues to receive death threats and murder attempts and is under ongoing police protection from the religion of peace.

Most disturbingly is the attempt of our current administration to pass anti-blasphemy laws which would forbid the freedom to speak out against Islam, but probably not deter this from speaking out against Christianity or Judaism.  They say it's the squeaky wheel that gets oiled, but in this case, it's the crazies that get pacified.  It seems like we, as a nation, have amnesia--at least liberals do--we have forgotten those images of the building crashing down.  We have forgotten the "birds" jumping from those buildings to escape the flames.  We have tolerated those who are intolerant of us and that is simply suicidal and stupid.  We have a president who bows to an Islamic king, and who now wants to stop Americans from exercising their freedoms.

I find it hard to understand how anyone in this country could actually vote for Obama, except for the fact that the leftist media controls the message.  But the leftist media is losing ground to the blogs, the social media, Fox News, and word of mouth.  It's about time.
