Andrew Gillum comes out of hotel closet as bisexual

"Y, M, C, A."

I guess the LGBTQ+2/76 community would see former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum as brave now that he has told the world that he likes having sex with either gender, or perhaps all 57 of them. This is something I am as interested in as you probably are, and I had to blog about it ASAP.

It was merely a few months ago that Gillum, who identifies as a man, was passed out in his own vomit in a hotel room with a gay escort and enough crystal meth to turn an ordinary horse into the mythological Pegasus.

Gillum bravely told the world at his first national media appearance, "That is something I've never shared publicly before," referring to his bisexual non-preference preferences, but not going into detail about his drug problem.

The bravery is palpable, especially because he's a Democrat. Even the drugs aren't such a big deal.

Gillum and his wife, R. Jai Gillum, who identifies as female, interviewed with Tamron Hall, not to be confused with Tammany Hall,  to discuss the hotel gay-sex-meth incident and how it impacted on his political career, his marriage to his wonderful wife, R., and their three beautiful children.

"To be very honest with you, when you didn't ask the question, you put it out there is whether or not I identify as gay," Gillum said. "And the answer is I don't identify as gay, but I do identify as bisexual, and that is something that I have never shared publicly before."

Gillum claimed after the incident that he went to the hotel room in Miami Beach in March to officiate at a wedding. Travis Dyson, his gay escort, said he wasn't aware of any wedding, and the wedding was not mentioned in the interview for some reason.

Gillum withdrew from public life and entered drug rehab after the situation.

"I understand very well what people assume about that," Gillum said during the interview.

Yes, many people assume he is a bisexual illicit drug user.

GIllum rejected the idea that his sexuality was a cause of his unfaithfulness.

"Bisexuality in and of itself doesn't lead to unfaithfulness," Gillum said. "There are men who are in marriages with women who just because they're married to a woman doesn't mean they're not attracted to other women, and at any point can slip up, make a mistake, do something, and that is what it is. The same thing in bisexual relationships. You can be attracted to both, you got a bigger terrain out there that you have to contend with, but you can still choose to be physically with one person."

R. told Hall that she knew when they married that Gillum would have sex with a man or a woman, depending on the situation.  She caught him in a public toilet with an Asian transgender woman lesbian who identified as Rachel Dolezal.

"So many people just don't understand bisexuality," R. said. "Bisexuality is just something different," she lectured. "I just believe that love and sexuality exist on a spectrum. All I care about is what's between us and what agreement we make."

Spectrum? Perhaps R. is on the spectrum.

Gillum is the former mayor of Tallahassee, Florida. He narrowly lost the governor's race to Republican Ron DeSantis in 2018, who is doing a fantastic job.

Andrew Gillum leaves politics for now and will enter rehab

Andrew Gillum (D-FL) the former mayor of Tallahassee, CNN contributor, and gubernatorial candidate who lost narrowly to Ron DeSantis, was recently found in a South Miami Beach hotel room fully naked with a self-described "porn performer," Travis Dyson, as previously posted here. In that room police found 3 bags of crystal methamphetamine.

Both Gillum and Dyson were non-communicative as both were under the influence of some substance(s).

On Sunday, Gillum announced that he will leave politics for the "foreseeable future," and see rehabilitation treatment for alcohol dependency.

“This has been a wake-up call for me,” Gillum said in a written statement Sunday, according to Politico. “Since my race for governor ended, I fell into a depression that has led to alcohol abuse. I witnessed my father suffer from alcoholism and I know the damaging effects it can have when untreated. I also know that alcoholism is often a symptom of deeper struggles."

Give him credit for that admission and hope for his recovery.

In a statement he had given to police, Gillum claimed he was in the hotel for a wedding, but that claim was not substantiated by others who were there. When police had arrived on scene, they were unable to communicate with Gillum because he was too inebriated and later vomited. Dyson was passed out on the bed.

“I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends. While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines,” Gillum said, according to Miami Herald journalist David Smiley.

“I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused our movement. I’m thankful to the incredible Miami Beach EMS team for their efforts. I will spend the next few weeks with my family and appreciate privacy during this time,” he said.

Again, I wish him a complete recovery and I hope he isn't simply hoping the public will have a short memory so that he can return to politics. He has a serious problem and needs to work on it his entire lifetime. Public life in politics would make that much more difficult.

More on Andrew Gillum and his hotel "partying"

As previously reported, former gubernatorial candidate for Florida, Andrew Gillum (D), was found totally naked in a South Beach hotel room "inebriated" and incoherent.

More information about the guy who was a big hope for the Democrats and is now a CNN commentator, has come to light.

Police say they found Gillum completely undressed with a self-described 'porn star performer,' Travis Dyson. And while the initial information provided said he claimed he was at the hotel for a wedding, the police now say that Gillum never mentioned that this was the reason he was in that room.

So was there a wedding or was Gillum lying?

Dyson was believed to be over-dosing on crystal meth when the passed out duo were found by a third man who called 911.

Gillum, in a statement claimed his involvement in the incident was "for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends." When cops first found him, he was so "inebriated," that he was unable to speak and later apologized for the "distraction" his behavior caused.

But when a reporter later spoke with Gillum's "friend," he seemed clueless of any Thursday night wedding. "I personally was not celebrating a wedding. I don't know if [Gillum] was in town for a wedding. He did not mention that," Dyson told Miami New Times.

According to a source with contacts in the Miami Beach PD, the first responders said they found the gubernatorial hopeful in a state of "complete undress and Dyson wearing "chaps," which is a "kinky or provocative article of clothing, which leaves the butt and sometimes crotch, exposed," according to how Dictionary.com defines the article.

Gillum was at one time rumored to be a potential 2020 running mate of Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign. The media tried to contact him for a comment, but he declined.

According to a Miami Beach Police Department offense incident report shared by Candace Owens on Twitter, Aldo Mejias, a third man, provided his credit card to the porn performer, Dyson, to rent room 1107 for the night. Dyson rented the room at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, but it's not known at what time Gillum arrived.

According to the police report, Mejias found the dynamic duo [Gillum and Dyson] in the room "under the influence of an unknown substance" when he arrived at around 11:07 p.m.

He said that Dyson opened the hotel room door and walked over to the bed where he "collapsed" in "a prone position" while Gillum was barfing in the toilet. Mejias then noticed that Dyson had difficulty breathing and he attempted to wake him up.

Dyson then began throwing up on the bed and collapsed once again. Mejias performed life-saving chest compressions and called 911.

When the police arrived, they attempted to speak to Gillum but the Vice President and gubernatorial hopeful was "unable to communicate with the officers due to his inebriated state."

The police said they found three clear baggies containing what appeared to be crystal meth on the bed and floor inside the hotel room, which were impounded by investigators. Miami Beach Fire and Rescue then responded to the hotel and performed a welfare check on Gillum. The emergency responders stated Gillum was in stable condition with normal vital signs. Dyson, who was treated for "a possible drug overdose" was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital as a precaution.

After police officers were able to speak with Gillum, he is reported to have left the hotel room and quietly returned to his residence "without incident."

Elizabeth Warren, and her keen judgment of character, as well as CNN, had no comment.

Andrew Gillum of CNN "inebriated" in Miami Beach hotel room with meth

Now I'm not saying Andrew Gillum, a Comedy News Network contributor and former Democratic gubernatorial candidate for Florida, was caught screwed up on methamphetamine the cops found in the hotel room in which he was screwed up in, but I am saying that Gillum has some 'splainin' to do.

The almost governor of Florida was found "inebriated" early Friday morning in a hotel room where meth was recovered with two other totally screwed up men who didn't know up from down when they were found by Miami Beach police.

Police were responding to an apparent drug overdose report when Gillum, 40, was also in the room at the Mondrian Hotel in South Beach with the two other men. The cops arrived shortly after midnight.

“Officers then attempted to speak to Mr. Gillum,” an officer wrote in the incident report. "Mr. Giullum was unable to communicate with officers due to his inebriated state.”

In other words, he was stoned or drunk out of his gourd to the point where his speech was worse than Joe Biden's.

Paramedics responded a second time to the hotel to conduct a welfare check on Gillum, the report says.

“Fire Rescue stated that he was in stable condition and his vitals were normal,” the report says.

"I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends,” Gillum claimed to a Miami Herald reporter. “While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines," he also claimed.

He went on: "I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused our movement. I’m thankful to the incredible Miami Beach EMS team for their efforts. I will spend the next few weeks with my family and appreciate privacy during this time."

The people of Florida don't need his apology. They didn't vote him into office, but it really came close and this guy could have become governor.

The incident report says that officers observed in plain sight three small clear plastic baggies containing suspected crystal meth on both the bed and floor of the room.

Gillum left the hotel and returned to his residence without incident, the report says.

“At this time the incident is not being investigated as a criminal matter,” Miami Beach Police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez told Fox News.

The person who suffered the drug overdose was identified in the police report as Travis Dyson, 30, not to be confused with James Dyson of vacuum cleaner fame.

The man who called police, Aldo Mejias, 56, told them that he gave Dyson his credit card to rent a room.

He told police, according to the report, that when he arrived in the room he discovered Dyson and Gillum under the influence of an unknown substance, but for sure, it could not have been meth because Gillum said it wasn't.

“Mr. Mejias observed Mr. Gillum inside of the bathroom vomiting,” the report says.

Gillum joined the Crappy News Network as a political commentator in January 2019.

CNN did not immediately respond to a request for comment because they any network that employs Jim Acosta has nothing useful to say to the real media.

Gillum had served as mayor of Tallahassee and ran for governor in 2018. Luckily, he was defeated by Republican Ron DeSantis in a very close race.

He was investigated for ethics violations as mayor and basically seems to suck as a person, but makes a fine politician.

Leftists claim Gillum lost election due to racism

The race card is a powerful tool used by leftists because it works. The reason it works is because nobody wants to be called such a horrible word when it isn't true. It stops the debate and leftists walk away self-satisfied with a sense of moral superiority. But the opposite is true: it's immoral to use the race card when there is no basis of truth other than the squishy feelings by which leftists make most of their decisions.

When a non-white liberal loses an election, they shout racism. Yeah, that's why socialist Democrat [aka: socialist] Andrew Gillum lost the election for Florida's governor and the white man, Ron DeSantis, won.

The fact that Barack Obama won the majority of Florida voters TWICE is irrelevant, or perhaps all the racists stayed home both times. But Gillum's loss was definitely due to racism because black people cannot lose an election for any other reason, unless they're black conservatives.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that people such as Judy Beck are sure "Andrew Gillum would have won if he were white," the retired St. Petersburg Democrat said. She has done extensive research from her workings of her mind.

Even clueless state senator Darryl Rouson (Dummy-St. Petersburg) claimed the election came down to racism. [Rouson is best known for being a touchy-feely dickweed.]

"I'm not one to call racism unless I smell it, feel it, touch it, walk with it," the idiot said, without explaining his irrational thinking. "But there are many who would argue, and make good points, that racism did have a role."

Which brings us to wonder, if a depressed person sees everything through the dark lens of depression, and an anxious person sees the world as a dangerous place, does a racist see everyone else as a  racist?

More to the point, when you examine the exit polls from the election, how do Democrats explain that if white folks voted against Gillum due to his race and were blamed for his failure, then how do they explain the voting behavior of Florida's black population?

According to the Tampa Bay Times, "Exit polls showed 86 percent of black voters cast ballots for Gillum, and 90 percent backed Nelson. At least 95 percent of black voters backed Barack Obama 2008 and 2012."

Obama beat white Republicans John McCain and Mitt Romney in 2008 and in 2012, respectively.

The truth is probably more due to Gillum's far-left political views, which is distasteful to Americans who understand socialism and see the damage it has done.

"If race was the determining factor, Gillum wouldn't have started with a large lead in the polls right after the primary. It only tightened when people found out about his progressive ideas," Democratic consultant Barry Edwards said.

Andrew Breitbart explains the power of the "Race Card" and says it's "One of the most effective tactics that the left has is the ability to accuse its opponents of being a racist. It's an impossible negative to dispel. . . "
But using the Race Card is immoral and deceitful. It's a tactic simply to shut off any reasonable discussion because, as Breitbart pointed out, it's powerful because Americans don't want to be put in such a horrible category--simply because they aren't racist.

Liberals who throw around that term, [Al Sharpton comes to mind] really suck.

BREAKING: Democrat Gillum concedes to Republican DeSantis in FL governor's race

Finally, this midterm election is coming to an end, sort of. Democrat and far left gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum has conceded Saturday to GOP challenger Ron DeSantis, a person Gillum wrongfully accused of being a racist.

The concession from Gillum, the failed mayor of Tallahassee, was made on a Facebook Live post with his wife at his side.

Gillum said he wanted "to congratulate Mr. DeSantis on becoming the next governor of the great state of Florida."

This is a developing story as Democrats appear to be trying to make this election as contentious as possible, and voter fraud, particularly in the state of Florida, seems to be rampant.

Broward County, close, no cigar: misses deadline by 2 minutes

Brenda Snipes is clearly incompetent, but she may also be fraudulent. The deadline to get all the late votes in for last Tuesday's election was at 3 p.m.

GOP candidate Rick Scott, running for a U.S. Senate seat against incumbent Bill "Cryin' Face" Nelson believes that Snipes intentionally missed the deadline in order to invalidate the votes that should have been counted by the end of Election Day.

Snipes missed the deadline by two minutes, making the machine recount void. She is not even capable of cheating competently for the Democratic Party--in spite of CNN's fake report that claimed she is a Republican.

So the results from the election will stand.

Snipes, who claimed with a straight face that she never missed a deadline, to CNN's Chris Cuomo, also with a straight face that he was able to hold as he was biting the inside of his mouth to keep from laughing, missed the deadline and has a history of screwups.

On Thursday afternoon Snipes actually said, "We are excited to be at this point."

As it stands now, Ron DeSantis has officially beat Andrew Gillum in the Florida gubernatorial race and it looks as if Rick Scott has also won.

Lawyers for Nelson and Gillum want a non-citizen's vote to count

Lawless lawyers for Florida Democratic far left gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum and U.S. Senate candidate "Cryin'" Bill Nelson, fought on Friday to allow a non-citizen's vote to count in the state's election.

As children, these lawyers also cheated at games such as "Red Light, Green Light," and "Ring-O-Leaveo," making the rules up to suit themselves and refusing to play if the other kids refused to go along with them.

The Daily Caller obtained a transcript of a Palm Beach County Canvassing Board proceeding. It revealed an exchange between Democratic lawyers and the judge.

Michael Barnett, chairman of the Palm Beach Republican Party, said that despite objections of the two Democratic lawyers, the vote was not allowed after two of the three canvassing board members ruled that a vote by a non-citizen was "an impermissible vote" according to the DCNF.

And the U.S. Constitution, to boot.

One of the shyster lawyers involved, Marc Elias, had an alleged role in past election scandals.

In October 2017, The Washington Post, a left-leaning rag, reported that Elias, who represented Hillary Clinton's [failed] presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), hired Fusion GPS to produce the salacious and unverified dossier on then-candidate Trump. He then alleged for a year that he had anything to do with the dossier.

Next thing you know, they'll be demanding the dead also have the right for a say in the country after all they did for it.

So if it walks like a rat, squeaks like a rat, sneaks like a rat, it's probably Marc Elias.

Fla. gov. race: Gillum's ties to anti-Semitic radicals more than first thought

"Woo!"
Andrew Gillum called Ron DeSantis a racist--no big surprise because that's basically the only thing Democrats have going, the race card. While DeSantis, has been a staunch supporter of Israel and promised to block Israel boycotts as Florida's governor, it was recently discovered that Gillum has even more ties to anti-Semitic groups than previously known.

Gillum has connections to several organizations that have sponsored anti-Israel events and promoted the BDS [Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions] movement against Israel. BDS is an anti-Semitic movement that wages economic war against the Jewish State. His ties to these groups are in stark contrast to his lies on the campaign trail where he attempted to distance himself from the most radical, anti-Zionist elements of the progressive movements.

One pro-BDS group, Dream Defenders, has publicly endorsed anti-Zionist Gillum, calling him one of the "most progressive" candidates in the country. This Florida-based advocacy group has emerged as a leader in the Black Lives Matter movement, supports efforts to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and is mixed in with backers of the BDS movement, which has made common cause with BLM.

Dream Defenders frequently criticizes Israel for perpetuating "genocide" of the Palestinians while the Palestinians commit homicide of Israelis. The group has led no less than "two delegations to Palestine," the newly created country claiming Israel as theirs.

"Palestine is the site of a continued settler colonial project, the state of Israel," the hate group writes on their website, using typical anti-Israel language used by anti-Semites to delegitimize Israel. "The colonial project was born out of a political ideology called Zionism, established in the late 19th century."

Except not in the Old Testament and honest history books.

And although Gillum says he is loosely affiliated with Dream Defenders, the group's founder, Phillip Agnew, considers Gillum "part of the movement."

On a 2016 trip, Dream Defenders employed convicted terrorist Mahmoud Jeddah as a tour guide. Jeddah was a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine--a U.S. designated terrorist organization [aka PFLP]. He spent 17 years in an Israeli prison for planting four hand grenades on a Jerusalem street, wounding nine pedestrians, non-combatants. He was eventually released in a prisoner swap.

Gillum also worked for over ten years at People for the American Way, of PFAW, a George Soros backed organization.

Gillum left PFAW in January 2017 and has gone on to sponsor at least one anti-Israel event alongside a pro-Palestinian organization called Samidouan. They advocate for imprisoned terrorists and is tied to the notorious terrorist group PFLP.

PFAW is one of many organizations supporting Samidoun's Global Day of Action, which took place in November 2017, to protest "against Walls of oppression from Palestine to the U.S.-Mexican border."

The anti-Israel rally protested "Israel's apartheid Wall on Palestinian land" and the "thousands of deaths every year" according to Samidoun propaganda.

Samidoun has also been accused of clouding its ties to the PFLP and has come under fire for defending Palestinain terrorists who have murdered Jewish civilians.

Hopefully, pro-Israel voters in Florida, with its large Jewish population, will see through the BS of Gillum and vote for DeSantis, a man who actually stands with Israel and its right to exist, and stands firmly against the BDS movement.

Dem staffer fired after calling for POTUS's execution

Politics is becoming increasingly disgusting and difficult to watch without a mild tranquilizer or a few beers. [I like beer. Beer tastes good. I always liked beer. I drink beer. Beer.]

Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court hearing by the Senate Judiciary Committee is just one recent example of the levels Democrats will stoop to in order to unseat a candidate on the right. Now it's being seen in the Florida gubernatorial race.

Andrew Gillum won a surprise victory in the Democratic gubernatorial primary in Florida and is facing Trump-backed Ron DeSantis. This has become somewhat of a proxy Trump v Sanders battle for the governorship of the Sunshine State.

One of Gillum's staffers, a young buck, 24-year-old Manny Orozco-Ballestas [aka: Dickweed] called for President Trump's death on Twitter and in 2012 and 2013 made a series of sexually graphic and politically charged posts according to Jacob Engels who flagged them.

The not-so brilliant Orozco-Ballestas [let's call him OB] also wore a shirt depicting pro-Trump states as "Dumbf**kistan." [So tell me, who's the dumbf**k?]

In a 2013 post, the leftist OB wrote to Trump: "you need to be executed." [Another incredible Mensa move--hahahahaha]. In another act of political genius, OB wrote, "If you're weighing 300 pounds+ maybe it's a good idea you stop posting all that fattening food pics on [Instagram]!" according to the Tampa Bay Times

But it was the "Dumbf**kistan" shirt that got the mental giant fired after posting it last summer on Instagram, also discovered by Engels and published in the Tampa Bay Times. Calls came in from all across the state and elsewhere by Republicans demanding the scumquat be terminated.

You can see the photo of OB wearing the shirt with the map showing the US. The red states represent those that voted for Trump in the 2016 election. The blue for states that voted for Bill Clinton's wife cum attack dog, Hillary Clinton.
How not to swing the vote your way
Below the map is a key explaining the red states refer to "Dumbf**kistan," while the blue refer to the "United States of America."

"It is unbelievable to me that Andrew Gillum would not only employ, but promote on social media, a person who calls voters 'dumbf*cks' for electing Republicans," Florida Republican Party Chairman Blaise Ingoglia wrote in a statement. 'It is hypocritical for Gillum to endorse the same kind of hateful, intolerant speech that he likes to denounce."

C'mon, Blaise--these are leftist radicals you're talking about. Nothing is beneath them, not even whale poop, and that's on the bottom of the ocean.

A spokesfemale for Gillum said they addressed the explicit shirt with OB, but the campaign added that they won't "be lectured about words by the Party of Trump."

It's also the Party of Lincoln, but it isn't the Party of the KKK.

OB, who reportedly previously worked for Bill Clinton's wife's campaign, apologized in a statement that may or may not have been written in crayon.

Gillum who is black, denounced Ron DeSantis's remark he made last month after securing the GOP's nomination in November's election warning voters not to "monkey this up" by voting for the Democrat [aka: socialist].

Gillum went to the Democrat Playbook and opened to page one which states:
"Use  'racism' against your adversaries each and every chance you get, especially if it isn't true, because that is all we have in this war against the U.S. Constitution."
Interestingly, the Democrat Playbook is exactly one page long. But apparently it's working. Gillum leads DeSantis in a Quinnipiac Poll released Wednesday 54 percent to 45 percent.

These results indicate a strong desire on the part of Floridians to be taken care of by the state until they run out of other people's money and become Venezuela.

Cha cha cha.

Fla. Dem. scores upset primary but targeted by city's corruption probe

It is said by many psychologists that people who are clinically depressed see much of everything in the world in hopeless, sad terms. People who are suffer from anxiety disorder see the world as a dangerous place.

It seems reasonable, therefore, to think that people who see everything in racial terms, believing everyone's statements they disagree with are racially motivated, are quite likely to be racists themselves.

Leftist Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, a Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez fan boy, just finished up with an upset victory in Florida's gubernatorial primary. His two socialist Economics 1.1 dropouts were glowing with praise for him, as he clashed with Trump-supported Rep. Ron DeSantis.

Gillum, however, is involved with a controversy of an FBI investigation over possible corruption in Tallahassee, in which he was mayor since 2014.

Of course Gillum denied any wrongdoing, just like Anthony Weiner denied tweeting to underage girls, claiming his Twitter account was hacked. [We all know how that turned out].

Gillum claims the FBI told him that he is not a focus of the investigation, and perhaps he's telling the truth--we shall see.

Rep. DeSantis who won the GOP nomination for the governorship Tuesday told Fox News, "This guy can't even run the city of Tallahassee. There is no way Florida voters can entrust him with our entire state."

Because as a socialist, Gillum will eventually run out of other people's money.

"With Andrew Gillum, Florida Democrats have selected a radical far-left politician who remains at the center of an FBI anti-corruption investigation," the Republican Governors Association said on primary day.

President Trump has thrown his support months ago to DeSantis and on Wednesday tweeted [believe it or not]. He accused Gillum of allowing "crime" and "many other problems" to flourish in Tallahassee. He didn't go into detail about those 'many other problems.'

"Not only did Congressman Ron DeSantis easily win the Republican Primary, but his opponent in November is his biggest dream ... a failed Socialist Mayor named Andrew Gilum who has allowed crime & many other problems to flourish in his city. This is not what Florida wants or needs!"

After the election, however, DeSantis made a comment that the Democrats jumped all over [in the race-labeling way they have].

DeSantis warned voters not to "monkey this up" by voting for a socialist.

You judge a man by his actions and his past. If DeSantis had a history of racism or racist remarks, well, then the Democrats might have a case--but DeSantis does not have a racial bias history.

The word 'monkey' was said to be a racially inflammatory word against blacks; and they might be correct if that was the intention DeSantis had. But it takes a racist like an Al Sharpton, for example, to see everything in racist terms.

The Democrats accused DeSantis of using "racist dog whistles" because Gillum is black. Even Gillum, who promises to bring the people together [as once did a president named Obama], asserted that the word was racially motivated.

The DeSantis campaign dismissed the claim his words had a racial dimension, saying that it's "absurd."

And with the diverse population of Florida, it would be foolishly absurd for DeSantis to alienate a large population of people of color--that would be political suicide. It therefore stands to reason that he never meant the term 'monkey up' to be racial in undertone, but probably meant 'muck up' but it sounded too close to the "F" word and his tongue skipped on past it and grabbed the closest word to describe how Gillum would muck up the state as he did the city.

If Gillum somehow pulls off a victory in the election, he would be the first black mayor and first socialist to muck things up in the state.
