John Bolton's Classified Documents Lecture Tour Ends With an Awkward Plot Twist

For years, John Bolton has been one of President Donald Trump's loudest critics, happily appearing on television to explain why mishandling classified documents was practically the crime of the century. On Friday, that moral lecture tour hit an unexpected speed bump when Bolton pleaded guilty to a felony count of illegally retaining sensitive national security information.

Turns out the self-appointed hall monitor wandered off with the answer key.

Under a plea agreement, Bolton will pay a $2.5 million fine while avoiding prison. The court could still impose probation, home confinement, or another penalty, but the former national security advisor walked away with far less than the mountain of charges he originally faced, just like most high-level politicians.

Federal prosecutors initially charged Bolton with 18 counts related to retaining and transmitting national defense information, a crime that should result in capital punishment or at least a life sentence. However, most of those charges disappeared as part of the deal, but Bolton admitted guilt to one serious felony involving sensitive national security information that could have endangered the country if it landed in the wrong hands.

The case stems from Bolton's time serving as Trump's national security advisor between 2018 and 2019 and the tell all memoir he later published after reinventing himself as one of Trump's favorite cable news critics.

According to prosecutors, Bolton kept detailed diary style notes on his personal computer and stored them at both his Maryland home and his Washington office. The notes reportedly included information from intelligence briefings, meetings with senior officials, and conversations with foreign leaders, including material classified at the Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmented Information levels. But alas, no firing squad, no life sentence, just a big fine and loss of pension. 

Whoop-dee-doo!

Investigators also alleged Bolton handed more than 1,000 pages of these notes to two relatives who had no security clearance, reportedly so they could help with his book.

The FBI raided Bolton's home and office last August, recovering documents and other evidence. Bolton initially pleaded not guilty, insisting the notes were merely personal records used during the writing process. He also maintained that the published version of his memoir successfully passed prepublication review and contained no classified information. He lied.

The irony here could not be thicker if it were poured over pancakes.

Bolton spent years insisting President Trump belonged behind bars over the classified documents case Democrats aggressively pursued during the 2024 campaign.

"I think this is a potentially catastrophic turn of events for him. It certainly should be, because if proven in trial it should put Trump in jail for a long time," Bolton declared during a June 2023 interview with NPR.

He also argued that the government should "hold everyone accountable equally, and that does not exclude the president. I think this is a real issue that's going to have profound impacts on our national security if we don't take it seriously."

And still he gets no prison time or a rope.

Fast forward a few years, and suddenly accountability comes with a plea bargain instead of dramatic cable news predictions.

After the Justice Department indicted him, Bolton sounded remarkably familiar, claiming he had "become the latest target in weaponizing the Justice Department to charge those he deems to be his enemies with charges that were declined before or distort the facts." He lied.

Funny how quickly someone discovers the dangers of a weaponized Justice Department once they're sitting in the defendant's chair instead of the commentator's chair.

The plea agreement closes the criminal case without any admission of wrongdoing related to the classified information that ultimately appeared in his book. Even so, Bolton's guilty plea leaves behind one unforgettable lesson: if you're going to spend years demanding that everyone else be treated equally under the law, it helps not to end up pleading guilty to the very kind of offense you insisted deserved harsh punishment.

Still, the walrus gets to stay out of the slammer.

BREAKING: Alabama death row nitrogen hypoxia inmate loses last ditch appeal

Alabama death row inmate, Kenneth Eugene Smith, 58, lost a last ditch effort for a stay of execution and is scheduled to be put to death with nitrogen gas, which is less painful than his victim who was stabbed to death.

Smith was convicted of the March 18, 1988 murder-for-hire of Elizabeth Sennett. Her husband, Charles Sennett Sr., hired a man named Billy Gray Williams to murder Elizabeth, and Williams, in turn, recruited Smith and John Forrest Parker to assist in the murder. The pair worked in concert and stabbed Elizabeth Sennett to death in her home in Colbert County, Alabama.

When her husband found that he too was a suspect in the murder, he killed himself. 

And on a happy note, Billy Gray Williams was sentenced to life without the chance of parole and died in the slammer in November 2020. Smith and John Forrest Parker were both sentenced to death and Parker got on the Hell Express via lethal injection in 2010.

Now it's Smith's turn and we shall see how this turns out. He's scheduled for execution Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, which is tomorrow as of this post.

Prosecutors want death penalty for Buffalo supermarket mass shooter

The 20-year-old scum bucket white supremacist whose name will not appear here, is currently facing a life sentence without parole for a mass shooting in a Buffalo, NY supermarket that killed ten people in 2022. It was a hate-motivated domestic terrorism. 

But now federal prosecutors are making the unusual move of seeking the death penalty for this dirtbag, in spite of New York State not having capital punishment on the table, but the feds do and will pursue the ultimate justice.

Court papers were filed in the Western District of New York Friday announcing the intention to end the life of this human pile of excrement.

The shooter planned the mass shooting May 14, 2022 at the Tops Friendly Market in Buffalo “in order to maximize the number of Black victims,” the feds wrote in Friday’s filing.

The young scumbag's lawyers issued a statement Friday saying they are “deeply disappointed,” explaining that their murderer client was merely 18 when he killed all those black people and that he would be in prison for the rest of his life anyway. 

But isn't it only fair to end him after he ended 10 innocent people based on their skin color?

So the lawyers tried to make this about gun control, which is a disgusting political ploy to distract from the mass shooting of innocent black people. The statement said:

“Rather than a prolonged and traumatic capital prosecution, the efforts of the federal government would be better spent on combatting the forces that facilitated this terrible crime, including easy access to deadly weapons and the failure of social media companies to moderate the hateful rhetoric and images that circulate online.” 

Gun control and censorship don't stop hate and they certainly don't stop mentally ill white supremacist scum and others who hate anyone who is different than them from violence. It never has and never will. The solution isn't easy but it has to do with changing the mindset of people and making the family central in life.

Convicted murderer executed for 1996 rape/murder of U. of OK ballerina

Anthony Sanchez raped and murdered University of Oklahoma ballerina Juli Busken in 1996. He was caught by authorities ten years later after the dancer's death. He had been serving time for a burglary conviction when his DNA from his semen found on Busken's clothing was a match.

Sanchez decided earlier this year not to put forward a final plea for his miserable life.

He was executed Thursday morning and pronounced dead at 10:19 a.m. local time. He received a three-drug injection cocktail at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.

The now very dead Sanchez had been convicted of raping and murdering Juli Busken, who was 21-years-old. She was an Arkansas native who had completed her last semester of school when she was abducted on December 20, 1996 from the parking lot of her apartment complex. 

Her body was found near a lake in far southeast Oklahoma City that same evening. 

Juli had been bound, raped and shot in the head.

Juli had performed as a ballerina several times during her time at OU and was memorialized at the campus with a dance scholarship in her name at the College of Fine Arts.

Sanchez claimed his innocence and claimed the DNA was "fabricated." [H/T Associated Press]

Sanchez told AP he declined to ask for clemency because even when the five-member Pardon and Parole Board takes the rare step of recommending it, Gov. Kevin Stitt has been unlikely to grant it.

“I’ve sat in my cell and I’ve watched inmate after inmate after inmate get clemency and get denied clemency,” Sanchez said. “Either way, it doesn’t go well for the inmates.”

Yeah, the poor inmates are the victims here.

Despite the existence of some questions over legitimacy, Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond insisted the DNA evidence uncovered in 2006, which saw Sanchez put on death row, unequivocally linked him with Busken's killing.

“There is no conceivable doubt that Anthony Sanchez is a brutal rapist and murderer who is deserving of the state’s harshest punishment," Drummond said in a recent statement.

And karma came to visit.

MO governor rejects mercy plea for scumcrumpet who killed 6-year-old girl

Missouri Governor Mike Parson (R, of course) will allow the state to go forward with a planned execution of a man who killed a 6-year-old girl on July 26, 2002. The man, Johnny Johnson, 45, is to receive a lethal injection tonight, Tuesday, but his lawyers are still trying to convince the governor that he his mentally incompetent.

Angie Wideman the mother of four told Johnson to help himself to some food from the barbecue--he was a family friend she had known since childhood and evidently did not think he was mentally incompetent as his lawyers claim. She had never seen him act violent and since he needed a place to sleep that night, she offered him her couch.

The following morning, Johnson lured little Casey Williamson out of the house leading her to a glass factory where he tried to sexually assault her. She fought back so he killed her using bricks and a heavy rock.

Johnson’s attorneys have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to halt the execution. They also asked that Parson grant clemency — reducing Johnson’s sentence to life in prison — while asserting that Johnson’s mental illness has left him incapable of understanding the connection between his actions and his execution.

That's okay--he doesn't need to know now why he's getting a lethal injection.

Parson denied the clemency request. He noted that a variety of courts — including the original trial judge and 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals just days ago — have thus far rejected Johnson’s incompetency claims.

“Johnny Johnson’s crime is one of the most horrific murders that has come across my desk,” Parson said in a statement. “Casey was an innocent young girl who bravely fought Johnson until he took her life.”

Parson, a former sheriff, said he received “countless letters in the last few weeks seeking justice for Casey” and hopes that carrying out the execution “may provide some closure for Casey’s loved ones.”

It will never provide closure for the family because it never does, but it helps them cope knowing justice has been done and that bastard will be gone.

In a clemency petition, Johnson’s attorneys said that Casey’s father, Ernie Williamson, opposes the death penalty, but thankfully it isn't up to him whether justice is done or Johnson is allowed to stay around for decades to come. Other family members urged the governor to allow the execution to go forward.

Johnson wasn't so out of it that he didn't know to cover up his crime after he killed Casey. This was pointed out by Della Steele, Casey's great aunt. She said that Johnson could have turned back at any point but instead chose to abduct and kill the child, then literally cover up his crime.

“Please stand strong beside Casey,” Steele wrote. “Remove this threat from our presence. Send the message that it is not okay to terrorize and murder a child.”

Missouri executes man with gender dysphoria for 2003 murder of ex-girlfriend

Tonight, Jan. 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. the state of Missouri executed an inmate who is thought to be the first openly gender dysphoric man. It is unknown as to whether Amber [formerly Scott] McLaughlin, 49, went through with gender mutilation but he did grow his hair, wore lipstick, and said that he believed he is a woman after he was initially incarcerated.

McLaughlin died by lethal injection for the 2003 murder of his girlfriend, Beverly Guenther. He had exhaused all previous appeals of execution and only Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) could allow him to forgo the eye-for-an-eye sentence but he didn't .

"McLaughlin’s conviction and sentence remains after multiple, thorough examinations of Missouri law. McLaughlin stalked, raped, and murdered Ms. Guenther. McLaughlin is a violent criminal," Parson said in a statement. "Ms. Guenther's family and loved ones deserve peace. The State of Missouri will carry out McLaughlin’s sentence according to the Court's order and deliver justice."

McLaughlin's attorney, Larry Komp, said there were no court appeals pending. The execution was carried out at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri.

So while McLaughlin was a member of a supposed 'victim' class, he was treated the same way any murderer with a death sentence and no appeals remaining would be treated.

To ensure the execution was carried out properly, Mr. McLaughlin''s arm was swabbed with isopropyl alcohol prior to the lethal injection.

MO might be first state to execute a dude in a dress

He may be the first he who thinks he's a she to be executed in MO

Missouri may quite possibly be the first state to execute a man who claims to be a woman, unless political correctness kicks in and the governor grants the killer clemency.

Scott McLaughlin, who changed his name and hairdo to Amber, is scheduled to receive a lethal injection today after he was found guilty of killing a former girlfriend in 2003. Of course, he was tried as Scott McLaughlin but said he was a woman after he was sentenced, possibly due to the fact that he would fare better in a woman's prison than with men. [The lethal injection will not be the COVID vaccine, it was reported.]

The Associated Press reported that McLaughlin, who is now 49, was in a relationship with 45-year-old Beverly Guenther before transitioning and would sometimes show up at an office in St. Louis where Guenther worked. He would often hide inside her place of business, according to court records, so Guenther obtained a restraining order.

Not a My Pillow topper

Police officers, at times, would escort Ms. Guenther to her vehicle after work as she believed her life was in danger which, it turned out, was true.

On the night of Nov. 20, 2003, Guenther’s neighbors called police after she failed to return home, the AP reported.

Police went to the office where Guenther worked and found a broken knife handle near her car and a trail of blood. The next day, Scott McLaughlin showed police where Guenther’s body had been dumped in the Mississippi River.

He was ultimately convicted of first-degree murder in 2006 and sentenced to death after a jury deadlocked on the sentence, AP reported. In 2016, a court ordered a new sentencing hearing, but in 2021, the federal appeals court panel reinstated the death penalty.

With no appeals pending, McLaughlin’s attorney Larry Comp told AP, clemency is being sought.

The request for clemency does not primarily focus on McLaughlin’s gender dysphoria as it didn't exist until after he was sentenced, but instead it focused on traumatic childhood and mental health and victimhood issues which were never presented to a jury during trial because they were a poor excuse for killing another human being.

The petition claims McLaughlin suffers from depression because he's sad that he's slated to be executed, and he even tried to kill himself several times with an electric razor on his wrist.

"We think Amber has demonstrated incredible courage because I can tell you there’s a lot of hate when it comes to that issue," Komp told AP on Monday. But he added it is not the focus of the clemency request.

Incredible courage? How so? 

Merriam-Webster defines courage as: [n] mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. If he was courageous, would he have "transitioned" in prison to avoid the testosterone within the population?

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) is reviewing the request for clemency, which a spokesperson for the governor told AP is still underway. 

McLaughlin is scheduled to die at 6 p.m. today, Jan. 3.

Before 1976, the only woman ever executed in the state was Bonnie B. Heady, AP said. She was executed in a gas chamber on Dec. 18, 1953, for kidnapping and killing a 6-year-old boy.

But McLaughlin, in spite of his name change, is not a woman, but he is a murderer and Beverly Guenther's family deserves justice.

Appeals court vacates order to delay woman's execution

A federal appeals court has vacated an order that would delay the execution of the only woman on federal death row before President-elect Joseph Robinette Biden pretends to run the country.

The ruling by three judges was handed down Friday on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. It concluded that a lower court judge made an error when he vacated Lisa Montgomery's execution date in an order last week.

U.S. District Court Judge Randolph Moss ruled the Department of Justice unlawfully rescheduled Montgomery’s execution and he vacated an order from the director of the Bureau of Prisons scheduling her death for Jan. 12.

Montgomery was convicted of murdering 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Stinnett in Skidmore, Missouri in December 2004, using a rope to strangle her. Stinnett was eight months pregnant at that time.

Montgomery then cut the baby from Stinnett's womb with a kitchen knife, removed the infant girl and took it with her, and tried to pass it off as her own, prosecutors said.

Montgomery’s lawyers have argued that their client suffers from serious mental illnesses, like most people who kill innocent others. But she knew what she was doing and was held accountable.

Montgomery was scheduled to be executed at the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana, in December, but Moss delayed the execution after her attorneys contracted coronavirus visiting their client and asked him to extend the time to file a clemency petition. 

Heaven forbid that Montgomery should die of COVID-19; that would be a travesty of justice.

Moss concluded that the under his order the Bureau of Prisons could not even reschedule Montgomery’s execution until at least Jan. 1. But the appeals panel disagreed.

Biden, eyes wide shut

Meaghan VerGow, an attorney for Montgomery, said her legal team would ask for the full appeals court to review the case and said Montgomery should not be executed on Jan. 12. 

Biden, who was made aware that he will be sworn in as President on January 20, opposes the death penalty. His spokesman, TJ Ducklo, has said he would work to end its use. But Biden has not said whether he will halt federal executions after he takes office because he was not told what to do.

Iran executes Kurdish political prisoners

The Islamic Republic of Iran executed the Kurdish political prisoner, Mostafa Salimi on Saturday in the city of Saqqez. His execution goes against all international norms.

Iran Human Rights (IHR) director Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam called the sentence "an inhumane punishment," adding that “Executions in Iran have continued to be carried out even after the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and lockdown in the country. It shows the death penalty is crucial for the Islamic Republic’s survival.”

The Kurdistan Region of Iraq extradited Salimi to Iran. The regime sentenced Salimi to death for Moharebeh (waging war against Allah) in Iran 17 years ago. Apparently Iran does not believe that Allah is capable of handling the punishment himself and thus needs Iran's army of Muslims to do the job. It's a mystery how anyone can wage war against an enemy that is invisible, all powerful and can throw bolts of lightning up your butt if it tickled his fancy. Personally, I think they made up that Moharebeh stuff.

Salimi, 53, escaped from prison on March 27 along with other prisoners. IHR strongly condemned the execution of Salimi in Iran and “considers his extradition from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq a violation of international human rights conventions.”

Iran claimed that Salimi was a member of Kurdish opposition parties and engaging in armed conflict.

IHR wrote that “Following his arrest, Iranian authorities carried out his execution quickly. The move is seen by many observers as a tool to spread fear among other prisoners. During the past weeks, there have been many riots in Iranian prisons to protest the management of jails during the coronavirus spread in Iran.”

According to the Jerusalem Post, Amnesty International reported that the Iran regime executed 36 prisoners due to their protests against the lack of safety regarding the Chinese Communist Wuhan Wet Market Lab Created Coronavirus. Maybe that's how Iran believes killing prisoners is the best way to protect them. This falls along the same illogical line that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has on abortion, claiming that "abortion is life-sustaining."

Iran is led by a horrible dictator who has weaponized religion to suit his goals, and this has been its theocratic history since 1979. You don't reward dictatorships like this by removing sanctions.

Nevada death-row inmate found dead after execution called off

Scott Raymond Dozier was sentenced to death in 2007 for committing drug-related murders in Las Vegas and Phoenix. Dozier, 48, had tried to kill himself several times before after two scheduled executions by lethal injections were postponed. He was found hanging from a bedsheet on Saturday, officials said.

Dozier [aka "you crazy motherf***er"] was found swinging back and forth in his cell and was unresponsive. He was housed in alone at the state's maximum-security prison in Ely. He was pronounced dead at 4:35 p.m. after medical staff attempted to revive him, FOX5 Las Vegas reported.

The poor guy, whose execution was delayed twice, had previously said the fight over his fate was taking a toll on him and his family and the state should "just get it done."  How sad for him.

“They should stop punishing me and my family for their inability to carry out the execution,” Dozier said in an interview last August,  with the AP. The interview came a month after a judge stopped his execution at nearly the final hour.

Dozier’s first scheduled execution by lethal injection had been postponed in November 2017 over concerns the untried drug regimen could leave him suffocating, conscious and unable to move. They were concerned that it might have even killed him.

Trapped in a legal limbo, Dozier’s fate was put on hold as court fights ensued over a three-drug combination that had never been used in the U.S.: the sedative midazolam, the powerful opioid fentanyl and a muscle-paralyzing agent called cisatracurium. Pharmaceutical companies also objected to their medicines being used in capital punishment and called instead for a bullet to the head or a simple beheading, hanging or allowing the inmate to be bored to death.

"I've been very clear about my desire to be executed ... even if suffering is inevitable," Dozier said in a handwritten note to a state court judge who postponed his execution in November 2017.

Dozier had repeatedly made it clear that he would rather die than spend the rest of his life in prison and during the delays in his execution had even attempted to take his own life at which, like life itself, he failed at.

A federal lawsuit revealed last December that he had tried several methods to kill himself in recent months, including a bid to obtain drops of a deadly drug on a piece of paper sent through prison mail.

Lawyers for the death-row inmate also revealed that he apparently cut his neck and wrist with a razor in October. Prison officials said they intercepted mail from Dozier’s sister which detailed how to cut the jugular vein in his neck.

FACT: When being attacked by clowns, go for the juggler.

While Dozier was placed in isolation to prevent self-harm, his lawyers argued in the suit that it only made his condition deteriorate because of unconstitutional treatment. They said he was denied prison yard recreation time and the ability to read, communicate with his family or effectively consult with legal counsel.

Dozier wasn’t on suicide watch Saturday, Department of Corrections spokeswoman Brooke Santina said. It wasn’t immediately known when Dozier had last been seen by guards.

The department’s inspector general and White Pine County sheriff's office are investigating the death.

"It isn't fair that he killed himself. It simply wrong. We wanted to do it the right way," an anonymous source told Brain Flushings' "Man in the Street," Vinny Boombots.

Netanyahu green lights the death penalty for convicted terrorists

It's about time--Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday green-lighted legislation for courts to make it easier to impose the death penalty on convicted terrorists. He announced the decision at a coalition meeting, according to Kan Bet.

Naftali Bennett, leader of the Jewish Home Party who also serves as minister of education, pushed the prime minister to advance the bill. Evidently, he wants to give terrorists a different kind of education that will last a lifetime.

The death penalty bill for terrorists, [aka: "The Martyr's Fast-Track Bill"] passed a preliminary vote in January. It's the flagship legislation of the Yisrael Beytenu Party led by Defense Minister Abigdor [aka: "A Very Big Door"] Liberman. He blamed Bennett and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked also of the Jewish home Party, of delaying the legislation.

But now Bennett reportedly told Bibi during his conversation that he was fine with the bill.

The Likud Party whip Dudi Amsalem agreed with Bennett's version of events saying the Jewish Home Party wasn't behind the delay of putting in the legislation.

The last time Israel imposed the death penalty was in 1962 in the execution of Nazi SS Officer Adolf Eichmann.

Saudis execute maid who murdered her 'rapist'

Jakarta--An Indonesian maid was convicted of murdering her employer in Saudi Arabia for allegedly raping her, according to a workers' rights group. If you don't believe she was actually raped by her employer, you don't know squat about Islam and how they are fully okay with having "sexual relations" with what the right hand possesses [i.e., their slaves].

Indonesia's President Joko Widodo said he called Saudi 's foreign minister, Adel al-Jubeir, and lodged a protest and demand to know why Indonesia had not been informed about the execution of the woman, Tuti Tursilawati.

"We have called Saudi Arabia's foreign minister and conveyed our protest," Widodo said.

Tursilawati worked in the city of Ta'if. She was found guilty of killing her employer in June 2011.

Indonesian advocacy group Migrant Care in September said the mother of one had been defending herself from the scumbag employer had defended herself from being raped. This is how Saudi "employers" roll.

The Saudi ambassador to Indonesia was called on to discuss the matter, Widodo said. But the Saudi embassy in Jakarta didn't answer calls for comments.

"The kingdom of Saudi Arabia has ignored principles of human rights, including a right for everyone to live," Abidin Fikri, a member of Indonesia's parliament said.

Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim-majority country, also has the death penalty for certain crimes, such as blasphemy, surrendering your seat on a camel to a woman if you are a man, and calling Muhammed a pedophile because he married a six-year-old and consummated the marriage when she was nine. But usually, the country has good relations with Saudi Arabia.

Indonesia has requested Saudi Arabia on several occasions to protect Indonesian workers who go there. They didn't do a very good job, it seems.

Prosecution rests on the Roof case

The prosecution rested its case in the sentencing phase of Dylann Roof's trial after presenting testimony for Tywanza Sanders' family, a young man who was shot and killed trying to protect his aunt, Susie Jackson, who also died.

Roof stared straight ahead, showing no emotion as the relatives of his victims told their stories of what had become of their lives since the racist POS massacred 9 black people at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC.

Tywanza's mother, Felicia Sanders, said "Everybody at the church loved Tywanza. Everybody loved to see him smile. He would hug everybody."

His dad, Tyrone Sanders, said, "I miss fishing with him. I miss him being on the road with me. I miss the debates we used to have. I miss yelling at him, telling him to put the trash out. I just wish he was here."

I could go on with family testimony, but it's difficult to see through the water in my eyes. 

Really.

This is not only horrifying, it's incredibly sad--sad that we still have so much racial hatred in the world, and so much religious hatred. 

When the hell are we going to grow up?

Roof can get life in prison or the death penalty. As for me, I don't care which one he gets because if he gets life, he's going to be a 'hero' to the sick "Skinheads" in the prison, and if he gets death, then his suffering is over and that just doesn't seem fair.

Charles Manson Hospitalized

Charles Manson, the 1960s cult leader responsible for the murder of actress Sharon Tate and at least five other (probably more) high profile murders, was taken to the hospital Tuesday for an undisclosed medical issue the Los Angeles Times reported.

Manson, who is 82, was seriously ill and we all hope he gets what he deserves.

Vicky Waters, Press Secretary for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) explained to the media that Federal and state privacy laws precludes the CDCR from revealing health information for any inmates in the system.

However, a separate spokeswoman from the CDCR was able to reveal that Manson "is alive."

Manson was transported to a Bakersfield hospital from California State Prison in Corcoran, about an hour's journey.

Charlie, as his cult followers called him, has a fashionable swastika carved on his forehead, crazy eyes and a dirty soul.

Back in 1960s, at the height of his sick career, he led the "Manson Family" into a life of decadence and crime. His followers were mostly comprised of runaways and dropouts from society and the charismatic Manson communed with them in the desert feeding them hallucinogenic drugs and baloney.

He was the mastermind behind a series of murders that he hoped would create a black vs. white conflict. Obsessed with Armageddon and a failed musician, he believed the song on The Beatles' "White Album" titled "Helter Skelter" was symbolic of a racial clash.

Although he didn't personally carry out the murders, he was the one who ordered them, and claimed in subsequent interviews that he had no remorse.

He was convicted of first-degree murder in 1971 and sentenced to death, but unfortunately the California Supreme Court's 1972 decision to outlaw capital punishment automatically commuted his sentence to life in prison which he is serving at California's Corcoran State Prison.

Although Manson is clearly a sick puppy, there are plenty of women who are just as sick and one of them, a woman in her 20s who calls herself  Star, applied for a marriage license with Manson, who was 80, but a ceremony never took place.

Manson was rejected for parole 12 times and would not have been eligible to apply again until 2027.

One thing for sure is that Manson is still crazy after all these years.

The Lying Nun

The defense has rested Monday in the Tsarnaev Boston Marathon bomber trial after anti-capital punishment opponent Sister Helen Prejean testified on his behalf. She stated that Tsarnaev is genuinely sorry about the victims he killed and severely wounded in his jihad. In all, 3 people were killed, among them a child, 260 were wounded and of those, 17 lost limbs.

She failed to refresh the jury's memory about how he "flipped off" the courtroom camera, but I suspect she's hoping they either didn't know this tidbit of information or simply forgot it.

I believe that Tsarnaev is not at all sorry for what he did, and I suspect Prejean is committing a bit of a venial sin, according to the way that the Catholic Church defines sins of that nature. It's possible that he told her he's sorry, but Prejean needs to read about Taqiyya in Islamic scripture.

 Now comes the punishment phase for the jihadist scumcrumpet. Will it be life in prison or death?

I believe that the death penalty should always be used with great caution, but it should be used in the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev case. It should be used not to serve as a deterrent for other Muslim jihadists, but to serve as a deterrent for Tsarnaev. 

If capital punishment is properly administered DzhokharTsarnaev would never be able to inflict harm on any human being in the future. Dead jihadists don't blow infidels up or behead them anymore.

But Sister Helen Prejean does not agree with me and is totally against the death penalty in all cases. She has expressed sorrow for the victims Tsarnaev and his brother killed and maimed with their pressure cooker bomb, a device they set down next to a young child. She agrees that, "No one deserves to suffer like they did." 

I agree with her. No one deserves to suffer.

No one, including Tsarnaev, should have to suffer and spend their entire life in a small prison cell watching their youth fester and rot away. All of Dzhokhar's plans, perhaps to make another appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, or whatever, gone. The only thing he would have to look forward to is 3 Halal squares a day, a cot, and a glove-handled Qur'an, untouched by the dirty hands of us infidels.

 Executing him would ensure that he wouldn't suffer such a horrible, lonely fate. And if Prejean actually believes in the afterlife, she should believe that Tsarnaev will get what G_d has in store for him. Why make him suffer for so many years on earth?

Prejean said that she could hear "pain" in Tsarnaev's voice when she said he told her that he regretted what happened to the victims of his carnage. "I had every reason to think that he was taking it in and that he was genuinely sorry for what he did," Prejean testified.

Of course, she had every reason to think that he is sorry--it's what she wants to believe. It supports her agenda of opposing capital punishment--she even admitted that she is considered to be one of the leading death penalty opponents. 

So, like Al Sharpton, who sees everything negative that happens to blacks in this country in terms of racism, Prejean sees violent jihadists and other criminals as repentant, sorry for their actions, and thus, worthy of saving.

At trial, Dzhokhar's teachers painted him as a sweet, hardworking boy, who wept as he watched "The Lion King." 

Oh that poor, misunderstood jihadist boy. How can we do this to him?

If Tsarnaev goes to prison for life, he would be going to Florence, Colorado in their special security unit of the Supermax prison. The warden of this prison, John Oliver, said that inmates there can earn a college degree, write a book and send and receive unlimited number of letters.

Prison privileges would include 30 minutes of phone calls per month, at least 10 hours of recreation per week [where he can learn to use a pressure cooker for peaceful purposes, perhaps]. 

Oliver's testimony was to show that life for Dzhokhar would be less than harsh if spared execution. I still believe that life in prison would be too harsh and that death would be the most merciful thing to do for this young Muslim man.

Is the GOP going soft on death penalty?

Nebraska's Republican-majority Legislature appears to be moving away from the death penalty, according to Fox News. Having always believed in "an eye for an eye," the lawmakers recently voted 30 to 13 to repeal the state's capital punishment law.

Gov. Pete Ricketts (R) said he would veto the bill, but it seems that the tide is turning away from the death penalty to a more sweet and softer side of dealing with murderers.

This change in thinking comes in light of the recent number of executions that had problems in being  carried out properly.

 In some cases, lethal injections caused pain and suffering of convicted murderers of innocent people. That should break our hearts--causing pain and suffering to someone who,  let's say, rapes a child, or kills an innocent person, or blows up a group of innocent people at a sporting event, is being insensitive and cruel.

In other cases, the lethal injection dosages weren't enough to cause death, only impaired brain functioning which resulted in a rash of liberals and MSNBC hosts.

That, in itself, is tragic.

According to Fox News, some Nebraska conservatives feel that capital punishment is unfair to victims' families because they must wait for years to see it carried out. I see this as a valid point, but not an insurmountable one. 

The solution: speed of the repeal process and make it a one-time appeal. If the appeal isn't granted, carry out the punishment. I know that I sound cold and callous to many liberals and others who oppose the death penalty, but I believe that the death penalty works as a deterrent to those that it is imposed upon. They will never repeat the villainous act that got them to be punished.

Some opponents of capital punishment say that it's anti-ethical to their anti-abortion beliefs. 

Since when is an unborn baby guilty of murder? If you are saying that all life is sacred, I respect your opinion but respectfully disagree. Some lives cause misery and suffering to innocent victims, and people like Osama bin Laden, Hitler, Islamic State jihadists, child killers and brutal murderers need to be destroyed for the sake of humanity. There is no moral equivalency of killing an unborn child and ridding society of these barbarians.

Currently, 32 states retain the use of capital punishment while 6 states have abolished it since 2007. Other states have a moratorium on capital punishment and Delaware is considering a bill to abolish it altogether.

Capital Punishment: Getting Back What You Gave

She was just a month out of high school when he killed her. He shot her once with a shotgun, then the gun jammed. She lay bleeding and writhing in pain on the ground as he cleared the jam and shot her again. But she wasn't dead. He told his 17 year old cousin and 26 year old buddy to bury her anyway.

So they buried her alive.

I could go into great detail about the entire crime, but it isn't necessary. A young girl in Oklahoma was brutally murdered, her friend repeatedly raped, and the young father they went to visit was beaten with his 9 month old son nearby. That basically sums it all up.

The shooter was Clayton Lockett, age 38. He was to be executed on Tuesday night in Oklahoma, in a double execution. The other piece of human excrement, Charles Warner, raped and killed an 11 month old girl back in 1997. He was to go second.

Lockett had been convicted of murder, rape, kidnapping, assault and battery, burglary and robbery. I believe his neighbors said "he seemed like a nice, quiet guy; never said a bad word to nobody."

But the lethal injection didn't work as planned. Poor Lockett writhed in pain as he lay strapped to the gurney. He gasped for air, not unlike Stephanie Nieman, as shocked reporters and others looked on. He eventually succumbed to a heart attack after being removed from the viewing room. The entire incident took about 30 minutes from the time he was sedated, to the time he entered hell. 

Unfortunately, the Charles Warner execution was called off for 14 days. He will have a lot on his mind for those two weeks, I suppose.

I think that executions should be humane and I don't condone the fact that it went south. But I'm okay that justice was served in the end. Perhaps it is humane to do what we do to horses who have broken their leg--a bullet to the brain. It's fast and humane, and it works every time. And you don't need to disinfect the injection site.

There will always be those who are against capital punishment no matter what. I respect that, because, while I believe in capital punishment, I also understand the sanctity of human life. But I just wonder how those who oppose the death penalty would honestly feel if their child was brutally murdered.

Capital punishment is a deterrent. If you disagree, please  cite me one case where the murderer who received it, killed again.
