IDF Takes Out Hamas Eastern Rafah Battalion Commander, Dozens More in Tunnel Ops

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continue to methodically dismantle what's left of Hamas' military structure in southern Gaza, and the latest updates from Rafah show just how effective that pressure has become.

On Thursday, the IDF announced that an airstrike this past Sunday eliminated Muhammad Jawad Muhammad al-Bawab, the commander of Hamas's Eastern Rafah Battalion, along with his deputy and key members of his inner circle.

Here's the IDF's statement on al-Bawab’s record:

"Muhammad Jawad Muhammad al-Bawab, commander of Hamas' Eastern Rafah Battalion, who helped execute the October 7 Massacre and attacked IDF troops in Gaza through the course of the Israel-Hamas War."

Three additional terrorists, including al-Bawab's deputy, were killed in the same strike. After the Nahal Brigade followed up with a building search in eastern Rafah, troops confirmed one terrorist already dead from the airstrike and took out three more armed fighters on the spot.

Separately, the IDF reports that its forces have now killed over 40 Hamas terrorists who emerged from the sprawling tunnel network beneath Rafah, an area that has been under full Israeli control for months.

Israeli and U.S. officials have said that roughly 200 Hamas fighters had been bottled up in those tunnels for an extended period. Some have come up fighting and been eliminated; others, according to Israeli media reports, have surrendered.

Another day, another senior Hamas commander and dozens of his men removed from the battlefield. The tunnel-rat phase of this war drags on, but the attrition is clearly running in one direction.

BOOM: Pipe Bomber Bagged After Nearly Five Years – And It Wasn’t Some Magical New Tip, It Was Pure Cop Grit Under the New Crew

Folks, grab your Pez dispenser, pop a Pez, because we finally have a name and a set of cuffs on the creep who planted viable pipe bombs outside the RNC and DNC headquarters the night before January 6, 2021.

Thirty-year-old Brian Cole Jr. from Woodbridge, Virginia is now in custody, and the Trump-era Justice Department just held a presser that basically read like a love letter to old-school police work.

Attorney General Pam Bondi kicked things off and didn't mince words: the arrest came "not the result of a new tip or a new witness, but rather, the result of good, diligent police and prosecutorial work."

FBI Director Kash Patel piled on, saying the breakthrough happened "when you let good cops be cops." He gave a big shout-out to Deputy Director Dan Bongino, who apparently ran the show on this one.

Bongino himself stepped up and dropped this absolute gem: "This is what it's like when you work for a president who tells you to go get the bad guys."

You getting chills yet, because I am.

Assistant Director Darren Cox of the Washington Field Office laid out just how brutal the haystack was: they chewed through "massive amounts of data, more than three million lines of it" to zero in on Cole. He reminded everyone these weren't fake props, these were live bombs that, by the grace of God, never went off.

Then former judge and current U.S. Attorney Jeannine Pirro brought the fire, ticking off the calendar: "Four years, 10 months, and 28 days ago, an individual placed a bomb in the vicinity of the RNC and DNC." She talked about chasing down every single one of the 233,000+ black end caps that match the ones used on the bombs, cross-referencing pipe, wire, steel, the whole nine yards. And she made it crystal clear this administration told the investigators, "Go get it done."

Pirro closed with a line that should be stitched on a pillow: "Today begins the formal process of accountability… We will take this case across the finish line."

Even MPD Chief Pamela Smith got in on it, saying after almost five years of grinding through thousands of hours of video and countless leads, "Washingtonians can rest easier today knowing that the suspect responsible for this act is in custody."

The Q&A was short. They are not tipping their hand on evidence or motive yet, but Bongino did recount the moment they knew they had their guy: Cox called him and said, "You sitting down? …I think we got him."

And in the cherry-on-top moment, AG Bondi wrapped the whole thing by announcing this was the best 51st birthday present they could give Dan Bongino, whose birthday is, you guessed it, today.

So yes, no anonymous texting hero, no last-minute whistleblower, no Hollywood confession. Just a bunch of fed-up cops and prosecutors who were finally allowed to do their damn jobs.Welcome to the new normal, bad guys. Clock’s ticking.

The affidavit supporting the complaint filed against Cole may be viewed in full here.

Gaza famine? I think not, but the media never reported it

One might have thought that in an age of instant communication and supposed journalistic rigour, the truth would have a fighting chance. One would, it turns out, have been wrong.

For months the Western press treated us to one of the most lurid accusations levelled against Israel in the course of its war with Hamas: that the Jewish state was deliberately starving the population of Gaza into submission. The charge was not merely serious; it was apocalyptic. "Mass starvation" was imminent, we were told. Emaciated children stared out from front pages. Israel, the headlines implied, and sometimes stated, was engineering a famine.

Hamas commandeering the aid provided by Israel

The principal exhibit in this campaign was a report from the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), a UN-backed body whose methodology has long been criticized by serious analysts. In August 2025 the IPC announced that more than half a million people in Gaza were already experiencing "famine." The figure was repeated with the solemnity normally reserved for papal encyclicals. Almost nobody in the major media paused to ask whether the underlying data were sound.

Then, as quietly as a scandal is buried, the whole edifice collapsed.

In July and August 2025 the Global Nutrition Cluster—a consortium that actually includes UN agencies and other aid organizations, released data showing malnutrition rates in Gaza some 23 per cent lower than the IPC had claimed. The highest measured rate was 11.9 per cent, comfortably below the 15 per cent threshold that defines famine. In other words, the most incendiary humanitarian claim of the entire war had been built on sand.

And what did our fearless fourth estate do with this revelation? Precisely nothing. Not a single major Western outlet saw fit to run a headline admitting that the famine scare had rested on faulty data. The story did not merely fade; it was disappeared. No retraction, no correction, no embarrassed follow-up. The same papers and broadcasters that had treated the IPC report as Holy Writ simply averted their gaze and moved on.

This is not mere journalistic sloppiness. It is something closer to complicity.

The original IPC figures did not linger in academic journals. They were weaponized. They fed UN resolutions, inflamed campuses, provided the soundtrack for riots in Western cities, and placed Jewish communities around the world in heightened danger. Once the slogan "Israel is starving Gaza" had gone viral, inconvenient facts became wholly irrelevant. Israeli officials could protest, independent experts could point out missing data and dodgy methodology, but it was all in vain. The narrative had been set.

We now know a little more about those methodological dodges. The IPC relied on partial datasets, clinic-based screenings unrepresentative of the wider population, and a switch to mid-upper-arm-circumference (MUAC) measurements known to inflate malnutrition figures. Serious flaws, one might think, flaws grave enough to bring down the whole "famine" edifice. Yet the media that had amplified the alarm with such gusto discovered, when the correction arrived, that they had suddenly lost interest in Gaza's nutritional statistics.

The panic was news; the refutation was not.

This ought to disturb anyone who still believes journalism has a duty to truth rather than to ideology. When an accusation of this magnitude is lobbed into the public square it does not simply evaporate when disproven. It lives on in the slogans daubed on university walls, in the threats issued against synagogues, in the simmering resentment that turns neighbors against neighbors. The outrage gets the megaphone; the correction is whispered, if it is uttered at all.In conflict zones, words are munitions. "Famine," "genocide," "starvation" these are not neutral descriptors; they are political ordnance. When journalists treat them as gospel one week and ignore their demolition the next, they are not merely failing in their craft. They are participating in the very distortions they affect to deplore.

So let the reader draw the necessary conclusion. If the people whose profession is skepticism refuse to practice it, then the skepticism must be supplied by the rest of us. Every lurid humanitarian claim now requires the question that the press no longer asks: who benefits from this story, and what happens if it turns out to be untrue?

In the case of the Gaza famine scare, we know the answer. A nation's reputation was savaged, public discourse was poisoned, and Jewish communities paid a price in fear and loathing, all on the strength of numbers that did not survive a single subsequent inquiry.

And the watchdogs of the press simply looked the other way.

Next time a headline screams catastrophe, remember what happened this time. Treat it with the robust suspicion that the journalists themselves so conspicuously failed to display. Because if they will not do their job, somebody must do it.

Sean Duffy purges 3,000 trucker license training providers after illegal immigrant driver crashes

The adults are finally back in charge at the Department of Transportation.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy just dropped the hammer so hard on the "illegal trucking chain" that the Biden-era grifters are probably still hearing the echo.

In one glorious sweep, Duffy's team just booted nearly 3,000 sketchy CDL training providers off the federal registry because, low and behold, they were faking records, bribing examiners, and basically running a clown car college for people who have no business piloting an 80,000-pound death missile down the interstate.

Another 4,500 got the "you’re next" letter while the feds comb through the remaining 16,000 like it's an IRS audit on steroids.

And the best part is how FMCSA Administrator Derek D. Barrs responded saying that providers unwilling to follow the rules "have no place training America's commercial drivers."

Secretary Duffy, never one to let a good house-cleaning go uncelebrated, lit up the previous administration like a Christmas tree on fire: "This administration is cracking down on every link in the illegal trucking chain. Under Joe Robinette Biden and Pete "What, Me Worry?" Buttigieg, bad actors were able to game the system and let unqualified drivers flood our roadways. Their negligence endangered every family on America's roadways, and it ends today. Under President Trump, we are reigning in illegal and reckless practices that let poorly trained drivers get behind the wheel of semi-trucks and school buses."

Meanwhile, Minnesota just got put on the 30-day clock to revoke a mountain of illegally issued commercial licenses or kiss $30 million in highway cash goodbye. That’s right, Gov. "Tampon Tim" Walz's utopia apparently handed out CDLs like participation trophies to non-domiciled drivers (read: a third of them were bogus). Tick-tock, boys and girls.

All of this comes after a parade of horrific crashes involving illegal immigrant truckers with shiny new licenses they never should've gotten: Harjinder Singh, Partap Singh, Jashanpreet Singh, Rajinder Kumar… the Singh-sational tour of interstate carnage that the open border wokesters pretended wasn't happening.

Remember when the media swore these were just isolated incidents and anyone who noticed a pattern was a big meanie? Yeah, about that.

Sean Duffy and the Trump administration just said, "Hold my coffee," and started ripping out the entire rotten infrastructure that put these disasters on wheels.

Finally, someone in Washington is treating 18-wheelers like the potential weapons of mass destruction they are instead of a jobs program for people who can't pass the test without a bribe.Welcome back, common sense, we missed you.

Outrage: Over 300 Rabbis and Jewish Leaders Demand UN Fires Official Who Denied Hamas’ Oct. 7 Rapes

In a blistering open letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, more than 300 prominent rabbis, scholars, and Jewish leaders, including former U.S. antisemitism envoy Deborah Lipstadt, are calling for the immediate removal of Reem Alsalem, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls.

Their reason for the move is because Alsalem publicly denied that Hamas terrorists committed rape and gang rape during the October 7, 2023 massacre in Israel, despite two separate UN reports finding "reasonable grounds" to believe sexual violence occurred in multiple locations.

Just two weeks ago, anti-Semite Alsalem posted on X: "No independent investigation found that rape took place on the 7th of October."

That claim didn't just spark outrage, it ignited a full-throated rebuke from Jewish leaders who say the Jordanian-born rapporteur is actively aiding Hamas' war crimes by whitewashing them. "The targeted sexual abuse of Israelis by Hamas and its supporters is one weapon in the arsenal of those seeking Israel's obliteration," said Amy Elman, a Kalamazoo College professor who organized the letter. "It's outrageous that deniers such as Reem Alsalem are aiding and abetting the sexual violence by claiming it never happened. These apologists should be ashamed of themselves."

Elman, who has written extensively on anti-Semitism and state responses to sexual violence, co-organized the petition with Rafael Medoff, director of the David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies.

Among the heavy-hitting signatories: Lipstadt, Jewish Women’s Archive CEO Judith Rosenbaum, pioneering Orthodox theologian Rabbi Irving Greenberg (former chairman of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum), Reconstructing Judaism president Rabbi Deborah Waxman, and Hebrew College president Rabbi Sharon Cohen Anisfeld.

Medoff pulled no punches on the double standard at the United Nations.

"If a UN official made such a remark concerning rape victims from any other ethnic or religious group, there would be an international uproar," Medoff said. "The same standard should apply to Israeli Jewish women who were sexually assaulted by Hamas terrorists."

The controversy exploded after Alsalem appeared on a Substack podcast claiming the world had fallen into an Israeli "trap" by believing reports of "barbaric sexual violence" committed by "barbarian Palestinian men." This was in spite of the fact that several jihadi attackers actually bragged about the sexual assaults along with other atrocities they perpetrated.

Alsalem used the platform to question the credibility of the UN's own March 2024 report and claimed Israel was using the rape allegations "in order to then justify the genocide."

Yes, the UN's own expert on violence against women accused Israel of weaponizing rape claims to justify… defending itself against the terrorists who actually committed the rapes. This isn't the first time the UN has faced accusations of turning a blind eye to Hamas' atrocities. But having the official responsible for protecting women worldwide openly deny those atrocities is a middle finger to women and is a new low, even for an organization with a long history of Israel-bashing.

The Jewish leaders' message to Guterres is clear: Reem Alsalem has to go--immediately.

Because when the United Nations employs someone who denies the rape of Jewish women by Hamas terrorists, it's not just a betrayal of Israeli victims — it’s a betrayal of every woman, everywhere.

Another Biden Border Catastrophe: Afghan “Ally” Shoots National Guard Troops in D.C., Yelling “Allahu Akbar” – And He Was Vetted!

Folks, here we go again. Just when you thought the Biden-Harris open-borders disaster couldn’t get any more deadly, an Afghan migrant who was fast-tracked into America under their chaotic 2021 evacuation shoots two young National Guard soldiers patrolling the streets of Washington, D.C. One is dead. The other is fighting for his life. And the suspect? He screamed “Allahu akbar!” while doing it.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, pleaded not guilty Tuesday – from his hospital bed, no less, where he’s recovering from wounds after police stopped his rampage just as he tried to reload.

He’s charged with assault with intent to kill while armed, possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence, and murder. Bond denied – thank God for small miracles. The victims? Twenty-year-old Sarah Beckstrom of West Virginia, who tragically died the next day, and 24-year-old Andrew Wolfe, who remains in serious condition.

These kids had literally been sworn in less than 24 hours earlier. As U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro said:

“Both Beckstrom and Wolfe ‘were sworn in less than 24 hours before they were shot on the street in Washington.’”

Beckstrom even volunteered to work over Thanksgiving so her fellow soldiers could be with their families. Heartbreaking.

West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey said Wolfe “remains in serious condition,” but is showing signs of movement and awareness.

President Trump, during Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting, revealed he’d spoken directly with Wolfe’s parents:

“They said he didn’t have a chance,” Trump recalled. “I will tell you, the one who said he is going to live is his mother … ‘Sir, he is going to live.’ I spoke to her very soon after this horrible event took place with this scum that is able to come into our country.”

“I spoke to his mother, ‘Sir, he’s going to be okay. I’m telling you.’ No doctor thought that. Nobody thought that. He was hit bad places. She was so positive, it was incredible. And possibly right. … That would be amazing. If he lives, it would be amazing, a miracle, actually.”

Pray for that young man. Pray for both families.

Now here’s the part that should infuriate every American: Lakanwal was brought here in 2021 under Biden’s infamous “Operation Allies Welcome” – the same frantic airlift that dumped roughly 77,000 Afghans into the country with what even DHS now admits was laughably inadequate vetting.

He got asylum in April. Why? Because, we’re told, he supposedly worked with U.S. entities in Afghanistan – including, according to former CIA Director John Ratcliffe, the agency itself. So the same administration that left billions in equipment and Americans behind in Kabul turned around and flew in tens of thousands of people – and at least one of them just murdered an American soldier on our own soil while shouting the jihadist war cry.

The Trump administration has already responded by halting asylum decisions and stopping new Afghan visas. About time someone slammed the door shut.

This is what happens when you treat national security like a giant welcome wagon. Sarah Beckstrom is never coming home. Andrew Wolfe is clinging to life. And the people who created this preventable nightmare still won’t admit they were wrong.Never forget: they called it “Operation Allies Welcome.”

One of those “allies” just declared war on America – again.

Founder of Swiss Assisted-Suicide Outfit Dignitas Takes His Own Way Out—at 92

Well, this one practically writes itself.

Ludwig Minelli, the guy who spent decades insisting that "self-determination" means helping strangers kill themselves in a rented apartment outside Zurich, has now chosen the very service he built. Dignitas announced Monday that its 92-year-old founder died on November 29 by what it delicately calls "voluntary assisted dying," [aka: suicide] just six days shy of his 93rd birthday.

In its statement, the organization praised Minelli as a "pioneer and warrior" who "stood unwaveringly for his convictions when it came to the protection of fundamental rights and the freedom of citizens." Except that warriors don't kill themselves when they have the fight in front of them.

Dignitas promises to keep the lights on and the lethal barbiturates flowing: "The Dignitas team will continue to manage and develop the association in the spirit of its founder as a professional and combative international organization for self-determination and freedom of choice in life and at the end of life." [But especially when you decide it's the end of your life.]

Color me stunned that the guy who turned suicide into a Swiss cottage industry eventually decided to become his own best one-time customer.

Minelli founded Dignitas in 1998, and the group claims to have facilitated roughly 4,000 deaths since then. Meanwhile, assisted suicide numbers in Switzerland itself have exploded--an 824.6% increase among residents from 2003 (187 cases) to 2023 (1,729 cases), according to official data. That's not a trend; that's a rocket ride to the great beyond.

And who's riding it hardest are women and the very old.

Women made up 59.92% of last year’s assisted suicides (1,036 out of 1,729), preserving a steady 3-to-2 edge over men for two decades. Among those 95 and older, 94.29% of all suicides from 2019–2023 were assisted. For the 85–94 crowd, the figure is 87.71%. When nine out of ten "suicides" in a demographic require an organization to hand you the cup, something has gone seriously wrong with how a society treats its elderly.

Pro-life observers aren’t mincing words. One typical reaction: "The apparently ever-increasing numbers of elderly people ending their lives through assisted suicide in Switzerland ought also to be deeply alarming for advocates and opponents of assisted suicide… It speaks to a profound cultural malaise that any culture would actively facilitate, and, to that extent, encourage its elderly population to end their lives by suicide."

Another called it straight: these are "deaths of despair" and "a form of abandonment of the elderly."

So the man who spent his life arguing that suicide is the ultimate expression of autonomy has now provided the ultimate object lesson. When even the high priest of the death clinic decides it's time to check out rather than endure another year of life, maybe, just maybe, that tells us something about the product he was selling.

File under: Be careful what you normalize. You might end up living, or not living, long enough to prove your critics right.

What a way to go.

Is Tim Walz toast?

Oh, sweet merciful crap, Tim Walz might finally be cooked, and not just from all that hotdish he pretends to love.

Remember when Tampon Tim was out there doing his aw-shucks Midwestern dad routine, floating a 2028 presidential run like he's the second coming of Hubert Humphrey? Yeah, about that. The new betting line in Minnesota isn’t "Will Walz run for president?" It’s "Will Walz finish his term without wearing an orange jumpsuit that clashes with his Carhartt cosplay?"

Because now over 400 employees from his own Department of Human Services have gone full Roman tribunal on his sorry butt, declaring in no uncertain terms that "Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota."

You read that right. Not "kinda-sorta," not "shared responsibility," not "oopsie-daisy, the dog ate the oversight." One hundred percent responsible.

We're talking about a Medicaid fraud scandal so gargantuan it makes Feeding Our Future look like some kid stealing lunch money. Somali "clinics" in the Twin Cities allegedly siphoned hundreds of millions, possibly billions, from autism programs, kicked back cash to parents to keep quiet, and (plot twist!) funneled taxpayer dollars straight to Al-Shabaab, the Al-Qaeda affiliate that likes turning shopping malls into slaughterhouses. One 29-year-old genius alone is accused of pocketing $14 million for fake autism treatments. That's not fraud, that's a Somali terrorist GoFundMe with extra steps.

And here’s the kicker: whistleblowers say they ran straight to Walz early on, begging him to do something. His response? According to the employees, they "got the opposite response." Instead of help, Walz "systematically retaliated against whistleblowers using monitoring, threats, repression," while his DFL cronies and the obedient Star Tribune lapdogs circled the wagons.

These poor souls say Walz deliberately neutered the Legislative Auditor, installed loyal hacks who "willfully disregarded rules and laws to keep fraud reports quiet," and built a culture where anyone who squealed got reassigned, threatened, or silenced. Their money quote on the governor: "Fundamentally, Tim Walz is dishonest, lacks ethics and integrity." That isn't a resignation letter, that’s a political obituary.

Even the Minnesota GOP congressional delegation, led by Tom Emmer, is demanding federal investigators crawl so far up Walz's khakis they can read the tag.

When four hundred of your own people are willing to torch their careers to scream from the rooftops that you're a corrupt, retaliatory liar who looked the other way while taxpayer money funded terrorists… you’re clearly not eyeing the White House anymore. You're just hoping the feds let you keep the lake cabin.

Tim Walz always bragged about "One Minnesota." Turns out that one Minnesota includes a governor who's allegedly 100% cool with fraud, terrorism financing, and crushing anyone brave enough to rat him out.
