Starmer backs Iran: says UK won't support Strait of Hormuz blockade

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Monday that no matter how much pressure is applied, Britain would absolutely not be dragged into the Iran war or participate in any silly blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

"We're not supporting the blockade," he told BBC Radio 5 Live, adding that it was vital to get the Strait reopened and therefore help Iran supply oil and goods for the regime.

"It is, in my view, vital that we get the Strait open and fully open, and that's where we've put all of our efforts and we'll continue to do so," Starmer said.

Britain had minesweepers in the region, he said, and while he could not discuss operational matters lest he tip his hand to the USA, the military capability was "focused from our point of view on getting the Strait full open."

The U.S. military said it would begin a blockade of all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas on Monday, after weekend talks failed to reach a deal to end the war with Iran.

The U.S. Central Command said that the U.S. blockade, starting at 10 a.m. ET on Monday (1400 GMT), would be "enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman."Vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports will not be impeded, the U.S. military said.

President Donald Trump said on Sunday U.S. forces would also intercept every vessel in international waters that had paid a toll to Iran.

"No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas," Trump wrote on social media, adding: "Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL!"

This is akin to blowing vessels into smithereens and Trump isn't kidding.

Ye Wireless gigs "deeply concerning", Starmer says: Pepsi pulls sponsorship

Ye

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has joined the chorus of concern over the forthcoming appearance of famous anti-Semite Kanye West, while beverage giant Pepsi has withdrawn its sponsorship of the Wireless Festival, which the foul-mouth rapper is due to headline, following the booking.

The rapper who has glorified Adolf Hitler and the Nazis on multiple occasions, and blamed his behavior on mental illness caused by an old head injury. West, who now goes by “Ye”, is due to headline all three nights at the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, north London, in July, marking his first performances in the UK in over a decade.

In comments first reported by the Sun on Sunday, Starmer said: “It is deeply concerning that Kanye West has been booked to perform at Wireless despite his previous anti-Semitic remarks and celebration of Nazism.

“Antisemitism in any form is abhorrent and must be confronted clearly and firmly wherever it appears. Everyone has a responsibility to ensure Britain is a place where Jewish people feel safe and secure.”

Last spring West released a song entitled Heil Hitler which contained an extract of a speech from the Nazi leader. It followed the sale on his website of T-shirts featuring a swastika.

In October 2022, in a post on X he said he was going to go “death con 3 on Jewish people [sic]” and later denied the Holocaust on a far-right talk show, proving he is a disgusting person.

His outbursts led to him being dropped by commercial partners including Adidas. Meanwhile, Pepsi, the main sponsor of Wireless Festival, has confirmed it has withdrawn its support for the event following the booking. Why they originally agreed to sponsor this garbage human being is a mystery.

A Pepsi spokesperson told ITV News on Sunday: “Pepsi has decided to withdraw its sponsorship of Wireless Festival.” I wonder how long they pondered that decision.

In January, West took out a full-page advertisement in the Wall Street Journal to apologize for his behavior, including the anti-Semitic episodes, probably because it was hurting his bottom line.

The advert, which took the form of a letter to “those I have hurt”, attributed his actions to a bipolar disorder, resulting from an injury in a car accident that had only been diagnosed many years later. The way in which a car accident can cause bipolar disorder is rare and needs to include traumatic brain injury.

In early 2025, he fell into “a four-month long manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behavior that destroyed my life,” he said.

In that “fractured state”, he explained, “I gravitated toward the most destructive symbol I could find, the swastika, and even sold T-shirts bearing it.

“I regret and am deeply mortified by my actions in that state, and am committed to accountability, treatment, and meaningful change. It does not excuse what I did though. I am not a Nazi or an anti-Semite. I love Jewish people.”

Really?

The Board of Deputies and the Jewish Leadership Council have both called for the cancellation of his booking at the Wireless Festival.

BoD president Phil Rosenberg said that given the current high levels of anti-Semitism in the UK, inviting West to perform “seems to be absolutely the wrong decision and many Jewish people will worry that that will just inflame what is already a very febrile situation.”

The Campaign Against Antisemitism commented: “The Government can ban anyone from entering the UK who is not a citizen and whose presence would ‘not be conducive to the public good’. Surely this is a clear case.”

That must have been one heck of a car accident.

Trump thinking about leaving NATO: sees it as "paper tiger"

Signaling a seismic shift in the post-World War II global order, President Donald Trump said he is “strongly considering” withdrawing the United States from NATO, delivering one of his clearest warnings that Washington may no longer be willing to underwrite European security without reciprocal support. If this comes to pass, this will render NATO impotent.

Delivered in a characteristically blunt interview with The Telegraph, Trump argued the alliance has become a “one-way street,” with the United States expected to defend Europe while allies decline to support American operations.

The catalyst for this potential divorce is the refusal of European allies to support the U.S.-led effort to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for 20 percent of the world’s oil, which has been temporarily shuttered by Tehran.

Asked whether he would reconsider U.S. membership after the war with Iran is over, Trump did not hedge.

“Oh yes, I would say beyond reconsideration,” he said. “I was never swayed by NATO. I always knew they were a paper tiger, and Putin knows that too, by the way.”

Trump pointed directly to European reluctance to support efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for 20 percent of the world’s oil that has been shuttered by Iran, as evidence that the alliance is failing. He noted that while the United States has “automatically” stood by Europe, including in non-member states like Ukraine, the favor has not been returned.

“They weren’t there for us,” Trump remarked, specifically lambasting UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for a lack of naval support.

Senior administration officials are now echoing the president’s frustration.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that continued U.S. participation in NATO cannot be taken for granted if allies expect protection while limiting American military flexibility.

“If NATO is just about us defending Europe if they’re attacked but then denying us basing rights when we need them, that’s not a very good arrangement,” Rubio said.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth went further, arguing the war has exposed a fundamental imbalance.

“You don’t have much of an alliance if you have countries that are not willing to stand with you when you need them,” Hegseth stated.

The statements point to a hardening of the administration’s NATO stance. Sources suggest the White House is eyeing a model that would block delinquent or uncooperative members from decision-making and is revisiting plans to withdraw troops from Germany.

As the U.S. and Israel continue air strikes against Iran’s nuclear program, the message from Washington is clear: the era of the American “blank check” for European security is over. If NATO will not serve as a platform for mutual security, President Trump appears ready to walk away from the table entirely.

This move seems to be a long time coming. The U.S. has always carried most of the financial burden for NATO, and even when Trump demanded they pay their share, the treaty nations always got a bargain price for membership compared to the United States.

According to Grok:
In absolute dollar terms (total defense spending, which funds NATO's real strength): The United States dominates, spending an estimated $980 billion in 2025 — about 62% of all NATO defense spending combined (total NATO ~$1.59 trillion).

Next are Germany ($94 billion) and the UK ($91 billion). All other members are far behind.
I suspect NATO members are quivering in their boots when considering the global implications.

London: Four Hatzola ambulances destroyed by Iranian regime-aligned group

The torching of four ambulances belonging to the Jewish volunteer service Hatzola, carried out in the early hours outside the Machzike Hadath Synagogue in Golders Green, north London, represents yet another grim chapter in the escalating war against Jewish life in Europe.

Surveillance footage shared on social media appears to show several hooded or masked men pouring gasoline on the vehicles before fleeing the scenes. An aerial view captures fire services continuing to monitor the scene after the attack on March 23, 2026.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the incident as "a deeply shocking anti-Semitic arson attack." Hatzola, a not-for-profit volunteer organization that responds to medical emergencies, provides essential life-saving services to the community, free of charge.

The London Fire Brigade dispatched six engines and forty firefighters to the blaze, where multiple cylinders on the vehicles exploded, shattering windows in a nearby apartment block. Mercifully, no injuries were reported.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the attack is being treated as an antisemitic hate crime. A newly emerged Shiite terror group, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin, known in English as the Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right, or the Islamic Movement of the People of the Right, claimed responsibility via its Telegram channel for the assault outside the synagogue.

This group has surfaced only in recent weeks, linking itself to a string of attacks on Jewish targets across Europe, including an explosion at a synagogue in Liège, Belgium, a blast at a Jewish school in Amsterdam, and arson at a synagogue in Rotterdam. It is widely believed to be connected to Iranian-backed Shia Islamist factions operating under the banner of the so-called Islamic Resistance in Iraq.

A video released by Ashab al-Yamin appears to depict its members conducting reconnaissance on the Hatzola ambulances prior to the arson. Handheld footage suggests the perpetrators lingered near the scene to observe the flames. Yet the text overlaid in the video reveals the true intent: "The Machzike Hadath Synagogue is one of the most important centers of Orthodox Judaism [...] and one of the main bastions of support for Israel in Britain."

Superintendent Sarah Jackson of the Metropolitan Police stated, "We are in the process of examining CCTV and are aware of online footage," adding that no arrests have yet been made, but three suspects are believed to have been involved.

Starmer, posting on X, declared, "My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news. Anti-Semitism has no place in our society.

"The Israeli embassy in Britain pointed to the rampant antisemitism in London and condemned the firebombing of ambulances as the bitter fruit of years of tolerated hatred. "Enough is enough," the embassy posted on X. "There must be a thorough investigation and decisive action to put an end to this climate of intimidation before it spirals further. Silence and inaction are no longer an option."

Mark Gardner, chief executive of the Community Security Trust, which provides security advice to Britain's estimated 290,000 Jews, observed that the fires bore "an obvious parallel to similar recent anti-Jewish arson attacks in Liège, Rotterdam and Amsterdam."

London Mayor Sadiq Khan perfunctorily condemned the attack and announced increased police patrols in the area.

Hatzola Northwest, a registered UK charity based in Golders Green, describes itself on its website as offering "a 24/7 community service, operating 365 days a year to provide a swift response to medical emergencies in a 2.5-mile radius" from its headquarters. "The service is provided free of charge by our 61 fully qualified medics and paramedic volunteer responders, all of whom have undergone and continue to receive intensive training. They are equipped with comprehensive Basic Life Support kits, including resuscitation equipment, oxygen, and defibrillators and are ready to drop everything to respond to a medical emergency.

Hatzola Northwest presently has a fleet of five active ambulances and 3 Fast response Units, which are used for responding when needed, including urgent patient transport as required."

What we witness here is a calculated assault on the infrastructure of communal care, chosen precisely because it serves the vulnerable and stands as a quiet emblem of Jewish resilience in the heart of Britain. The perpetrators, shielded by masks and the anonymity of the night, have struck at something far more than vehicles: they have aimed at the very sense of security that Jewish communities have fought so hard to maintain.

The question now is whether the authorities in Britain will finally treat such acts with the gravity they demand, or whether this too will be absorbed into the weary pattern of condemnation without consequence.

Alaa Abd El-Fattah apologizes for frustrations of a 'young man' calling for death of Jews

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and other cabinet ministers announced that they were “delighted” that El-Fattah had been brought to the UK and reunited with his family after 12 years in the slammer after calling for the death of Jews wherever you can find them.

Let's face it, kids like El-Fattah are impressionable by Islamic scripture and want to do the best to please their families.

Alaa Abd El-Fattah, the long-imprisoned Egyptian political activist who arrived in the United Kingdom last week, has "unequivocally" apologized for social media statements calling for the killing of Zionists and white people everywhere.

On Friday, Prime Minister Keir Starmer and other anti-Semitic cabinet ministers announced on social media that they were “delighted” that El-Fattah had been brought to the UK and reunited with his family after 12 years in prison. However, his previous comments - such as him considering “killing any colonialists and especially Zionists heroic” - soon circulated online.

In a public statement on Monday, El-Fattah said he was "shaken that, just as I am being reunited with my family for the first time in 12 years, several historic tweets of mine have been republished and used to question and attack my integrity and values, escalating to calls for the revocation of my citizenship."

Yeah, social media is nothing like Vegas. What goes on social media doesn't stay on social media.

He admitted that, looking at the tweets now, "the ones that were not completely twisted out of their meaning, I do understand how shocking and hurtful they are, and for that I unequivocally apologize." He now plans to keep his thoughts and beliefs to himself, and maybe tell his wife and mom.

Partying like it's 1967

Comments expressions of 'anger and frustrations 'El-Fattah said his previous comments were mostly expressions of a young "man's anger and frustrations in a time of regional crises (the wars in Iraq, Lebanon and Gaza), and the rise of police brutality against Egyptian youth." And those Joooze!

He claimed that while he was deeply embedded in "antagonistic online cultures" at the time, his younger self never intended to offend a wider public and was actually "engaged in the non-violent pro-democracy movement."

El-Fattah denied that any of his previous tweets included homophobia, saying that he has paid "a steep price for support for LGBTQ rights in Egypt." He even has gay friends and knows a transgender 'woman' or two.

He also rejected accusations of Holocaust denial in spite of his previous claim in spite of a tweet that. stated something along the lines of:  "There was no genocide against Jews by the Nazis – after all, many Jews are left."

"I take accusations of anti-Semitism very seriously," he claimed.

Can a Jew-hater change his mind after being punished for 12 years? Maybe, but I have my doubts.

Multiculturalism, schmulticulturalism: UK changes its tune

Keir Starmer, the UK’s new Prime Minister [whose surname can be mistaken for a WW2 Nazi newspaper], has gone and done a full 180, hasn’t he? The man who once clutched his pearls at the mere mention of immigration controls is now banging on about slashing it.

That’s right—Labour’s open-borders fan club has officially folded. Starmer’s not just parroting the usual gripes about wages or creaking public services. No, he’s gone big, framing immigration as a straight-up threat to the glue holding Britain together. Finally, the UK Prime Minister has removed said head from said nether regions.

“Nations depend on rules, fair rules,” Starmer said, sounding like he’s just discovered the concept of a border. “Sometimes they’re written down; often they’re not. But either way, they give shape to our values, guide us towards our rights, of course, but also our responsibilities, the obligations we owe to each other.”

Blimey, Keir, where was this epiphany when Labour was busy branding anyone with a concern about immigration as a knuckle-dragging bigot?

But he didn’t stop there. Instead, he went full patriot, warning that without clear rules, the UK risks turning into “an island of strangers, not a nation that walks forward together.” Dude, you’re about two decades late to that party, but better late than never, I suppose.

Starmer is now admitting the immigration system’s been a complete clusterfrack, undermining the very identity of the nation. “When you have an immigration system that seems almost designed to permit abuse, that encourages some businesses to bring in lower paid workers rather than invest in our young people,” he said, “or simply one that is sold by politicians to the British people on an entirely false premise, then you’re not championing growth, you’re not championing justice.”

And then he added “You’re actually contributing to the forces that are slowly pulling our country apart,” Starmer confessed. Gee wiz crackers, Keir, did you nick that line from a UKIP pamphlet?

But let’s not kid ourselves. Starmer’s dancing around the real issue here, and we all know what it is. The elephant in the room, the one nobody in Westminster or the BBC wants to name: the tidal wave of Islamic migrants, many of whom have zero interest in adopting British values. It’s not just about cheap labor flooding the job market, it’s the cultural carnage that’s followed.

In city after city, you’ve got parallel communities, simmering tensions, and a laundry list of problems like crime spikes, overstretched services, and a social fabric that’s fraying faster than a charity shop jumper.

“That’s why I told the Labour Party conference taking back control is a Labour argument,” Starmer bloviated on, trying to sound like he’s been on this train all along, (much like Gavin Newsom's new take on homelessness). “And why, most importantly of all, inward migration is already falling with this government.”

He's obviously seen the polls and that's all he really cares about.

If you enjoy my blog, feel free to toss a virtual coffee my way on Buy Me a Coffee – it’s like a high-five with caffeine, and coffee keeps me focused. No pressure, it's your call.

Labour’s finally sniffed the coffee. The cultural divides, the surge in anti-Semitism, the radicalization worries, the cops stretched to breaking point. It has all piled up, and even Starmer can’t pretend it’s not happening. But here’s the million-pound question: will the punters buy this sudden Damascene conversion? Or will they clock it for what it is—Labour scrambling to save face after years of sticking their heads in the sand or elsewhere?

One thing’s crystal clear: Starmer’s speech is a grudging nod to what the so-called “far-right” have been banging on about forever. Mass migration, especially from cultures that openly reject the West, was never about “enriching” Britain. It was about dismantling it, bit by bit. And now, even Keir Starmer’s admitting the mess. Too little, too late?

You tell me.

UK goes ballistic over mass rape of British girls as Musk leads move to oust Starmer

The national scandal in Great Britain, where men, reportedly "predominantly Pakistani," groomed and raped young British girls while the government ignored it, has reached its boiling point. Many, including billionaire Elon Musk, demand the resignation of Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The Labour Party has blocked an investigation into Starmer, who once led the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). Jess Phillips, the safeguarding minister, said it was “‘for Oldham council alone’ to decide whether to launch an investigation into alleged exploitation between 2011 and 2014,” according to The Telegraph.

“In the UK, serious crimes such as rape require the Crown Prosecution Service’s approval for the police to charge suspects,” Musk wrote on X. “Who was the head of the CPS when rape gangs were allowed to exploit young girls without facing justice? Keir Starmer, 2008 -2013. Who is the boss of Jess Phillips right now? Keir Stamer. (sic) The real reason she’s refusing to investigate the rape gangs is that it would obviously lead to the blaming of Keir Stamer (head of the CPS at the time).”

The real reason Phillips is refusing to investigate the rape gangs is that it would obviously lead to the blaming of Keir Stamer ( who was head of the CPS at the time).
They oppose an inquiry, because it will show that those in power were complicit in the cover-up https://t.co/uLdWVRcEIg

Starmer is done. Just a question of how long it takes at this point.

The dam appears to have broken on this most shameful chapter in Britain’s history: where children were sacrificed by politicians to “avoid inflaming racial tension”.@Con_Tomlinson @CourageMedia___https://t.co/PoTnEbFTeO pic.twitter.com/SqNqCjry21

— Ayaan Hirsi Ali (@Ayaan) January 3, 2025

These appalling rape gang cases of girls as young as 11 shame our country. Not only do the perpetrators need to be punished. So do the authorities who turned a blind eye in the name of not inflaming “racial tensions”. https://t.co/D0xG4BaoV3

— Liz Truss (@trussliz) January 1, 2025

British writer Matt Goodwin wrote in November 2023: “For readers who might not know about the ‘grooming scandal,’ we are talking about tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of children being systematically raped and abused by organized gangs of men while people in power, the very people charged with protecting these children, turned a blind eye.”

In Alexis Jay’s independent report from 2014, which was commissioned by the Rotherham Metropolitan Border Council, she noted:
It is hard to describe the appalling nature of the abuse that child victims suffered. They were raped by multiple perpetrators, trafficked to other towns and cities in the north of England, abducted, beaten, and intimidated. There were examples of children who had been doused in petrol and threatened with being set alight, threatened with guns, made to witness brutally violent rapes and threatened they would be next if they told anyone. Girls as young as 11 were raped by large numbers of male perpetrators.
In the town of Telford with a population of around 140,000 people, about 1,000 girls were systematically raped and sexually abused by groups of men over many years. The men were primarily Pakistani with the victims being poor, white English girls as young as 11. They were plied with alcohol and drugs and then gang-raped, and threatened about telling the cops. Seven men were sent to prison and of these, five got powderpuff sessions and are probably free as of this writing.

Such acts like these have been going on for about two decades in jolly old England, before it gained national attention.

It's possible that up to 10,000 girls were victims of this type of crime, and lots of people in charge, like those in child services and the police, knew about it but did nothing.

It's time for all of us in the West to get proactive.
