The 'Palestinian Flag' is more or less a rag

The so called Palestinian flag, like the Palestinians, is an invention. In the case of the flag it was invented by the KGB and Yasir Arafat in the 1960s. Its purpose is to be a weapon against Israel. [H/T Front Page Magazine, Robert Spencer.]

Before it became the flag of Palestine, it served as the emblem for the Hashemite Kingdom of Hejaz, founded in 1916 and later incorporated into Saudi Arabia by 1925. In 1924, this flag also represented the Sharifian Caliphate, which encompassed similar regions in what is now Western Saudi Arabia, persisting until 1931.

The Hejaz is in Arabia — not “Palestine.” The designer of the flag was not a Palestinian, as there were no Palestinians as such in those days, but an English Colonel named Mark Sykes.

The flag we call the Palestinian flag today wasn't really the flag of Palestine back in the day. Around 134 CE, the Romans kicked out the Jews from their land and started calling it Palestine. They chose this name because it was the name of an old group of people called the Philistines, who were enemies of the Israelites in the Bible and were no longer around. But when the Romans said Palestine, they were just talking about an area, not a country with its own people or flag.

We don't find evidence of this group or their flag in historical records. There was never a sovereign Palestinian state, and the Arabs living in the region did not use this flag. A 1939 world atlas does display a flag for Palestine, but it refers to the area under British Mandate. The British administered this territory not as a typical colony, but specifically to establish a national home for Jews in their ancestral land. This fact challenges the narratives often pushed by today's historical revisionists. Notably, the 1939 flag of Mandatory Palestine prominently features a Star of David.

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) officially adopted the current Palestinian flag in 1964, the same year it renamed itself from the Palestinian National Liberation Movement to the Palestinian Liberation Organization. This change was made to reflect its commitment to liberating a newly defined Palestinian nationality. Prior to the 1960s, the concept of a distinct Palestinian nationality did not exist; it was created to reframe what was previously known as the Arab-Israeli conflict. Before this shift, Israel was seen as a small, beleaguered state surrounded by a vast Arab world. However, with the emergence of the Palestinian identity, the narrative flipped, portraying Palestinians as the small, oppressed group against a dominant Israel.

In summary, the Palestine flag is as fake as the notion that Hamas are freedom fighters.

Michigan city officials fired for flying 2SLGBTQIA+whatever-comes-next flag on gov't property

2SLGBTQIA+whatever-comes-next Pride flag

A pair of Michigan city officials on the Hamtramck Human Relations Commission were fired after violating a city ordinance that bans the display of the 2SLGBTQIA+whatever-comes-next Pride flags on city property.

The move came after the all- Muslim city council voted to ban the display of the 2SLGBTQIA+whatever-comes-next Pride flags last month. In a unanimous vote, Russ ["The Flasher"] Gordon and Cathy Stackpoole were unceremoniously booted off the human relations commission after it was determined by the council that they were responsible for flying the 2SLGBTQIA+whatever-comes-next Pride flag on government property.

“This Council believes in fairness, neutrality towards our residents, and the rule of law, amongst other things for this community. We passed a resolution recently to do just that, and two of our sworn commissioners outright defied it, and did what they wanted,” Council member Khalil Refai told Fox News in a statement. He said the council considered flying the 2SLGBTQIA+whatever-comes-next to be a violation of the city's trust.

“We were elected by the people of the community to make these decisions, and they not only violated the resolution but the trust of the whole community by doing this. For this reason, Council felt the appropriate response was to remove them from their public positions of trust,” Refai said.

The human relations commission is supposed to encourage “tolerance,” “multiculturalism,” and “constructive communication.”

Back in 2008, Christians and Muslims joined forces to oppose a city ordinance that would include the then-LGBT community as a protected group.

The resolution to ban all ideological flags from the Michigan city’s property was introduced in June by Councilman Mohammed Hassan.

Fun Fact: Pride [aka hubris] is one of the seven deadly sins. It is considered the worst of the seven on almost every list, the most demonic and thought to be the source of the other capital sins. It's the opposite of humility.

Rep. Ilhan Omar attacks Islam for being anti-gay--just kidding--she attacks Trump

Staying true to form of her prior hypocritical behavior, Rep[ulsive] Ilhan Omar (D-MN) accused the Trump administration of being "bigoted" after requests to fly the gay pride flag from foreign embassies were appropriately denied.

Think about it:
If you're going to fly the rainbow flag over a U.S. embassy for Gay Pride Month, we're also going to have to put a flag up in February for Black History Month, maybe a flag representing a solidarity fist. Also, February is National Bird-Feeding Month, so maybe a flag of our national symbol, the bald eagle, being fed a field mouse clenched tightly in a black solidarity fist. It's also American Heart Month, so a flag of a Valentine heart would be a nice touch.

Let's back it up one month to January.

January is Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, but the Democrats may balk at putting up a flag for that cause since it goes against their border agenda where human trafficking is as common as abortion.

In March, there's Women's History Month and a flag representing that might be of a transgender "woman" winning a women's Olympic event like weight-lifting or track and field, or pretty much anything else. It's also National Colon Cancer Awareness Month, but I'm not sure a flag would be appropriate unless it represents a transgender "woman's "colon with a transgender "man" being aware of it.

April features Arab-American Heritage Month and the flag that might be an honest representation of Arab-American heritage would be a crescent moon over the White House. [No offense intended to Muslims who have no ambition of "destroying  our miserable house from within."]

April is also Confederate History Month, but that flag has been burned and cannot be displayed, along with any statues related to that period of American history. Sorry all you history buffs.

The month of April contains National Child Abuse Prevention Month and the flag that seems to go well over a foreign U.S. embassy would possibly be a Planned Parenthood facility having its door closed with a sign saying: "Permanently Out of Business."

April is also Financial Literacy Month. A perfect flag for this celebration would be a likeness of Bernie Sanders and AOC sitting in a primary school classroom at their little desks, heads bowed, taking notes and listening to the likeness of Milton Friedman giving them a lecture.

The month of May celebrates National Masturbation Day as well as National Stroke Awareness Month--perhaps a flag can be designed to include both simultaneously.

May is also a month that celebrates Mental Health Awareness Month and an appropriate flag to bring awareness to this important issue would be a likeness of Capitol Hill with an American flag along with all the flags listed in this post.

June is already covered with the LGBTQ etc., etc. flag.

July is National Ice Cream Month and what better way to show our appreciation for this important summer product than a flag depicting a rainbow ice cream cone with variegated sprinkles. This way the LGBTQ etc., etc. folks get a "double-scoop of lovin'."

August sucks for celebrations, so don't ask. It's just National August Month.

September fancies three biggies that can be represented on one flag: National Prostate Health Month; National Yoga Month [think upward dog] and Pain Awareness Month. Use your imagination.
Poster: National Flatulence Prevention Month
October again has an LGBT month known as LGBT History Month. They get twice the coverage with less than 3 percent of the population. Cool. It's also National Pizza Month and a triangular flag would be a good representation of how we Americans love our pizza, and maybe we can get a transgender individual on the flag eating a slice.

November is National Novel Writing Month [NaNoWriMo]. A flag with 50 thousand words that don't need to make sense should decorate this flag.

December is too cold for a national month so we have Christmas and Chanukah. There are no flags for these holidays because they actually are.

So when the human excrement hits the proverbial fan and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard of Iran sees our guys coming to whip their sorry butts, they'll notice our new flags displayed proudly below Old Glory on our uniforms, and they'll know what we're fighting for . . . that month.

So when Ilhan Omar's call for the Gay Pride flag to be flown over embassies throughout the globe, she must also consider the other noble causes ensconced in the American psyche and let them have their due justice. For this is America. The land of the free and the home of the craziest Democratic Party in the history of our nation.

Perhaps it's time for us to take Ilhan Omar's call for the Gay Pride flag to be flown in foreign US embassies to the next step and have her carry the rainbow flag in a Gay Pride march in Somalia, her home country.

DHS 'can confirm' gang members and criminals in caravan

The Department of Homeland Security on Thursday agreed with President Trump and VP Pence that violent criminals are a part of the Honduran caravan heading through Mexico and on its way to a town near you.

White House reporters asked how they know this information.

"@DHSgov can confirm that there are individuals within the caravan who are gang members or have significant criminal histories," DHS spokesman Tyler Houlton tweeted Tuesday night.

"Citizens of countries outside Central America, including countries in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and elsewhere are currently traveling through Mexico toward the U.S.," he said.

Trump acknowledged that there is no hard "proof" that criminals are part of the caravan, but he said that he has "very good information."

It's interesting that a group of migrants who want to claim refugee status in the United States, who are supposedly fleeing their country out of fear for their lives, are waving flags of their native country, and they're burning ours. The flag below has a Nazi swastika on it.

And why aren't these "refugees" applying for refugee status in the first country in which they arrive?

I hope Trump cuts off all their aid if they don't intervene.

PA Dem forced to resign after patriotic Facebook post "I stand for the flag; I kneel at the cross'

The Democrats believe it's offensive for posting the words: "I stand for the flag, I kneel at the Cross."

Had a top Democrat in Pennsylvania said instead, "I kneel for the flag, I stand with all women accusers and always believe them" the Democrats would not have found that offensive and he would have not been fired.

Mark Salvas told CBS1 Pittsburgh that the chair of the Allegheny County Democratic Party asked him to resign mainly because a photo from last year showed him and his wife with those words posted on his Facebook page.

Imagine that, standing for the flag. How terrible. But kneeling at the Cross is taking it too far. He might be offending Muslims and that's a no-no with the Politically Correct crowd of word nazis.

Democrats in Allegheny County, who evidently suck sea shells, were offended by his patriotism as well as another post by his wife that asked to support a cop charged in the fatal shooting of a black teen in June.

Because cops are bad and must be punished for whatever they do.

"I'm not ashamed of my patriotism, not one bit," Salvas, a Gulf War veteran of the United States Marine Corps said. "I fought for this country. I think I have a right to have a voice and be patriotic."

The police officer involved in the summer shooting who Salvas supports is a close friend and he and his wife wanted to be there for his family. How very un-Democratic of him.

The officer, Michael Rosfeld, was charged in the shooting death of 17-year-old Antwon Rose Jr. in East Pittsburgh. The incident occurred merely hours after Rosfeld was sworn in--he had worked at the East Pittsburgh Police Department for several weeks.

Pennsylvania Rep. Ed Gainey (D) told CBS2 Pittsburgh that Salvas' Facebook post was insensitive to black Democrats. "If you're going to be executive director of the Democratic Party, you have to be sensitive to things like that," he told the media.

But you don't have to be sensitive to close friends and their need of support from you.

Salvas, who has a bi-racial child and black family members said he has no apologies regarding his post.

Hopefully, he will consider moving to the party that actually goes along with his core beliefs, because the Democrats sure as hell don't.

Teacher suspended for desecrating the flag

Fayetteville, NC -- A North Carolina school board did the right thing by upholding a 10-day suspension of a high school teacher who stepped on the American flag during a First Amendment lesson.

Superintendent Frank Till recommended the decision for the suspension of Lee Francis, and the board upheld it 5 - 2 Wednesday after meeting for over 8 hours behind closed doors.

The decision as to whether Lee returns to teaching leftist history at Massey Hill Classical High School rests with Till.

Francis has been working in the district office where people can keep an eye on him to ensure he doesn't step on any office flags, and he is on unpaid suspension since September.

Francis was teaching about a Supreme Court ruling from 1989 which protects desecration of the flag, but his dramatic demonstration by actually desecrating the flag was unnecessarily over the top--especially since he obviously enjoyed stepping on the symbol of a country he likely never had to defend.

It's a good thing he wasn't teaching about the constitutionality of the death penalty.

Two students left the classroom--one of them took the flag to keep that crapweasel from repeating his libtarded behavior.

It is rumored that Francis hopes to teach one day at George Soros Leftist University.

President Obama may have wanted to comment on the situation by saying "If I had a son, he would do the same exact thing." But he didn't.

Supreme Leader al-Obama Finally Lowers Himself by Lowering the Flag

So-called President Barack Hussein al-Obama finally relented to the pressure from lawmakers and actual patriotic Americans to lower the White House flag to half-staff in honor of the four dead Marines and one sailor killed by Muslim jihadist Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez.

Had al-Obama not faced public pressure, he would have gone about his gay merry way calling homosexuals, cross-dressers, and Bruce Jenner (who now goes by the name Caitlyn) heroes.

Obama issued a proclamation early Tuesday afternoon and said that of the Chattanooga victims, "We honor their service. We offer our gratitude to the police officers and first responders who stopped the rampage and saved lives. We draw strength from yet another American community that has come together with an unmistakable message to those who would try and do us harm: We do not give in to fear. You cannot divide us. And you will not change our way of life." [He was likely referring to the fact that nothing will change: we will not arm the military at home, if he can help it, and we will never, under no circumstances, stop from being politically correct by never referring to Islamic terrorism as such. We will continue to call it by less offensive names.]

The "Commander in Chief" (LOL) ordered flags flown at half-staff at the White House and "all public buildings and grounds," along with military posts, naval stations, and vessels, until July 25th. In addition, flags will be at half-staff at all U.S. embassies and overseas diplomatic offices.

He is also asking all Democrats and anarchists to please not burn any flags before July 25th as some people might find it offensive.

Obama was forced and shamed into this decision when congressional leaders ordered flags at the U.S. Capitol lowered earlier in the day, which shed light onto Obama's lack of patriotism and basic respect for our citizens, especially our military.

Rep. Duncan Hunter, (R-Calif), released a statement calling the refusal of the White House (read al-Obama) "unconscionable." He added, "The flag and all it represents is sacred to our military, and the President must know that lowering the flag is a signal of honor and respect."

He does know that, I'm sure. That is precisely why he didn't lower it. He did it for his base.

Michelle al-Obama was caught again on an open mic saying, "All this for a flag?" Okay, maybe not, but I bet she was thinking it.

The House of Representatives will observe a moment of silence tonight for the victims.

When Josh Oxymoron Earnest was  asked of the status of the White House flags on Monday, he offered "sincere condolences," but nothing about the Obama proclamation which was to soon follow. This made it crystal clear that there were no plans in place at the time because the Obama administration would have immediately announced something like that.
This is what our first gay president
finds most respect-worthy

This so-called President Obama wasted no time to order the flags lowered to half-staff when Nelson Mandela died of natural causes, and when Whitney Huston OD'd in a tub. I suspect that Obama would do the same if George Clooney prematurely kicked the bucket.

But for 5 men killed in domestic combat? Lowering the flag? Not so much.

What the hell is wrong with this picture?

Canadian Flag in Reflection

This is where you can "enjoy your favourite programs even during extreme weather conditions". And I think that's a point well taken because the Canadian weather can be extreme. It has already snowed three times since July and it's still pre-Christmas. In New York, we rarely had a white Christmas. Sometimes we'd get a few flakes in early December, but the flakes were a fluke--it would not snow for a month afterward. But here in Canada snow is like oxygen--they need it to live, and it's everywhere around you all winter long.
I'm going to a hockey game tonight, the first I've been to since I was in my twenties. The Sens are playing the Rangers and guess who I'm rooting for .  .   .
Wrong--I'm rooting for the Sens. I am no longer a New Yorker, although I miss the Big Apple a bit (or should I say "a bite"?), but I never had allegiance to the Rangers. In fact, when I went to that game years ago at Madison Square Garden (which is anything but square), I was surrounded by crazy louts who smoked dope and drank beer, often launching it in the air whenever a Ranger physically abused a member of the opposing team, thus dousing me in suds and making my time at the game quite uncomfortable.
I told Thasneem that I'll be wearing my new Senators sweater and she said "It'll be too cold." I realized she thought the game was played outdoors and I comforted her by explaining the scenario. Imagine how small the crowds would be if the games were actually played outdoors in the dead of winter, when the weather gets really cold--at least it's only going to be around minus 15. No big deal. Eh.
