After Haley loses Nevada, says "Trump rigged it"

Former Republican and current mystery, Nikki Haley spoke in an interview Wednesday regarding her loss to "none of these candidates" in the GOP presidential primary. She said that the process was "rigged" by former President Donald J. Trump.

It's amazing how some people claim that he's incompetent, but these same folks believe he can cause the planted to heat, the tides to rise, and half the nation rise up in an insurrection. Now we have a so called Republican presidential hopeful who blames Trump for a "rigged" Arizona primary.

Haley won 31% of the vote in the state, while 63% of those who participated in the primary chose “None of These Candidates,” with 89% of the vote counted, according to The New York Times. No delegates are awarded in the state’s primary, only the state’s caucus, which she didn't sign up for.

When asked if the loss to the none vote “hurt,” Haley responded: “No, I mean, Nevada, it’s such a scam. They were supposed to have a primary. Trump rigged it so that the GOP chairman, who’s been indicted, would go and create a caucus. We knew months ago that we weren’t going to spend a day or a dollar in Nevada, because it wasn’t worth it.”

C'mon, Nikki. Be real.

“And so we didn’t even count Nevada. That wasn’t anything we were looking at,” she said. “We knew that was rigged from the start. Our focus is on South Carolina, Michigan, and Super Tuesday. So, if you look what we did in Iowa and you look at what we did in New Hampshire, we’re continuing to grow. That’s what matters, I think, more than anything else.”

“But look at what happened this week,” she continued. “Here you have, Republicans lost a major vote on the border, Republicans lost a major vote on Israel. Donald Trump was found that he will not have immunity in all of these court cases coming up. The RNC chair is fired. All of this chaos is happening around us and Donald Trump’s fingerprints are on every bit of it. We can’t continue as the Republican Party to go forward with this chaos. You don’t defeat Democrat chaos with Republican chaos. And that’s why we’ve got to see a change.”

I liked her when she was our ambassador to the U.N. She stood her ground against the Islamic anti-Semites and refused to back down and side with them against Israel.

But that was then and this is now.

I suspect she's thinking that Trump may be in enough legal trouble, perhaps even in prison, and she could just waltz right in and be the candidate. I don't think she really knows Trump and his magic tricks.

My old squadron is now famous

I joined up with the Green Knights, VMA 121 in Chu Lai, South Vietnam during the war after being stationed at Beaufort, South Carolina. We called it "beautiful Beaufort by the sea."

I was reading a story from Fox News about an Idaho pilot who is the first woman to fly the F-35 supersonic stealth fighter for the Marine Corps, Captain Anneliese Satz.

Capt. Satz is a 29-year-old helicopter pilot from Boise and she completed her training at my old Air Station Beaufort, just down the way from Parris Island, S.C. The training for the F-35 lasted 4 years.

Satz graduated the F-35B Lighting II Pilot Training Program June and will be assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 in Iwakuni, Japan. Yes, my old squadron.

“The first flight in an F-35 is by yourself,” Satz said. "The syllabus thoroughly prepares you for that first time you take off and for every flight after that, it’s an exhilarating experience."

Now, with over 300 flight hours under her belt, she is prepared to pilot the F-35B Lightning II as part of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121, the Green Knights, in Iwakuni, Japan. The aircraft is designed to operate from short-field bases and near front-line combat zones, the Corps said.

Women have only been allowed to fly in the Marines since 1993, when pilot positions were first made available to women, Military.com reported.

Clownpocalypse solved

You pretend to like them and laugh at their antics; you even take your kids to see them at the circus, but your kids cry, and secretly, they scare the crap out of you. They even appear in your worst nightmares.

Clowns.

Not the kind of clowns that honk their horns and squirt you with seltzer, or ride unicycles while playing a little harmonica, or juggle or jam into Volkswagons with twenty colleague clowns. No, I'm talking about clowns that scowl and sneer sardonically and carry sharp cutting instruments and kill little kittens.

Evil, freaking clowns.

In Flomaton, Alabama a Clownpocalypse was finally solved by the local police. The not-so-funny reign of clown terror finally was squelched along with other areas down south.

Following a series of underwear-staining Facebook posts on the "Flomo Clown" page, (pictured below) authorities finally captured two juveniles and one adult on Thursday in connection with the incident in which a post appears to threaten violence at a local school.

The post even ordered the police to order a "soft lockdown" that forced students and teachers to shelter in place while authorities searched for the possible violent circus act.

However, no clowns were found but cops got enough information to issue several warrants.

Makayla Smith, the alleged clown "ringleader" was apprehended and will probably be charged with making a terrorist-type threat, said the Flomaton police on their Facebook page. Ms. Smith and her clown alley  are from Pensacola, Florida, according to information provided by authorities.

Officials have not stated whether Smith is connected to the Facebook page, which made credible threats that required immediate action from law enforcement and took to social media to calm the community and explain why it needed to impose the school lockdown.

The local police held a joint press conference with the FBI who became involved when they learned that the clowns in question had no involvement in the Clinton campaign. But like the former secretary of state, put people and property in danger from unknown threats.
Makayla Smith

The Flomaton incident is merely part of clown-related sightings that have terrified many communities across Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina over the past few weeks. It began in South Carolina with unconfirmed reports of clowns trying to lure children into the woods by an apartment complex by offering candy and money.

Soon Georgia began seeing copycat incidents with reports of clowns "driving around in a white van" in Athens, Georgia.

But it was Flomaton, Alabama that received the first clown-related threat (while at least some of the alleged clowns-gone-rogue were apparently from Florida).

Hopefully, the apprehension of Smith et al will put an end to the frightening Clownpocalypse are once again put some clowns in a better light, while others will always scare the crap out of us.

Honk.

The Citadel: the 'Religion of Special Needs' loses

The Citadel is Dixie's West Point and has been so since 1842. Located in Charleston, South Carolina, it is one of six Senior Military Schools in the country. It has 17 academic departments, 19 major subjects and 36 minors. Students are required to live on campus for their 4-year bachelor's degree.

The Citadel is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school combines physical challenges, academics and military discipline.

The South Carolina Corps of Cadets is one of the largest uniformed student bodies in the United States and all members are required to participate in ROTC.

The mission statement of The Citadel reads:
To educate and develop our students to become principled leaders in all walks of life by instilling the core values of The Citadel in a disciplined and intellectually challenging environment. A unique feature of this environment for the South Carolina Corps of Cadets is the sense of camaraderie produced through teamwork and service to others while following a military lifestyle.
Note the operant words "uniformed," "military" and "camaraderie."

An American Muslim student admitted to the class of 2020 Corps of Cadets requested permission to wear a hijab, or Islamic headscarf. Religious headscarfs are against the uniform regulations of The Citadel and therefore the young woman was denied permission.

Citadel President Lt. General John Rosa released a statement explaining that the decision to reject the request came from an "essential" need to standardize the appearance of the cadets regardless of their religious requirements.

Thus, Jews cannot wear yarmulkas, Sikhs cannot allow their hair to grow beyond a specified length nor wear their traditional turban, and Amish cannot wear their straw hats and black coats.

And so on.

But Islam always presents itself as "the religion of special needs," and wants the rest of the world to accommodate them, rather than the reverse. An example of this occurred at Catholic University in Washington D.C. where Muslims requested that offensive crosses be removed from the school because it distracts them from prayer.

The use of uniforms, particularly at a military academy, is to bring a sense of camaraderie and instill a singleness in purpose.

"This process reflects an initial relinquishing of self during which cadets learn the value of teamwork to function as a single unit. Upon graduation, The Citadel's graduates are prepared to enter a life committed to principled leadership in military service and civilian careers," Rosa said in the statement.

Rosa made it clear that in spite of the rejected request, religious beliefs are respected at The Citadel and freshman cadets meet with many faith-based organizations. The school also offers places of worship as well as the accommodation of dietary and prayer requirements.

What they don't offer is Sharia compliance, but the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is doing its best to break that barrier and force all American institutions, private and governmental, to become Sharia compliant or face consequences in the future.

CAIR is an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial that linked the Muslim Brotherhood to terrorist organizations such as Hamas.

A spokesman for the family of the Muslim future student says the prospective cadet is disappointed over the rejection of being Sharia compliant.

Ibrahim Hooper spoke with the woman to tell her the hijab is off, but Hooper said the woman will not attend The Citadel this fall unless they give in to Sharia law.

And CAIR, as is their 'go-to' move, will be suing the school.

Why we allow organizations with terrorist ties in our country is beyond belief. All they want, as the Muslim Brotherhood goals show, is to "destroy [their] miserable house from within."

Just look at Europe and Sharia--this is their goal and "Democracy can go to hell."

Marco will not go for the throat on immigration reform

At a town hall meeting in South Carolina, GOP candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) responded to a question regarding the flow of illegal immigrants coming into the US and what he planned to do about it.

Rubio went through his usual bullet points about using E-verify and entry-exit visa tracking as well as a non-Mexican-funded wall or fence to keep illegals out. He even spoke about securing the border.

But one thing he promised, as a way of contrasting himself with Obama is in regard to immigration reform saying that his administration won't ram it down your throat like President Obama.

Rubio promised he wouldn't do anything on immigration until the border is secured in a way the American people could "believe and see with [their] own eyes."

Establishment candidate Rubio still offers a somewhat moderate path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, and no longer talks about it in the same liberal, Gang of Eight terms.

"I don't think the American people are saying we ought to round up every single person and deport them. But you're also not going to go around handing out citizenship cards. That's absurd," he said.

Perhaps Mitt Romney had the right idea by saying that illegals would deport themselves if they found it impossible to come here and work. If we made it a serious offense to hire illegal immigrants, used E-verify and deport new illegal arrivals, it might work.

Slowing down the handouts wouldn't hurt either.
