Is Geraldo gone from 'The Five' or will conservatives still be annoyed by him?

First they came for Bongino, but he wasn't Bongino, so he did nothing. Then they came for Carlson, but he wasn't Carlson, so he did nothing. Now they are coming for him, but he is too narcissistic to believe them, so he does nothing.

But perhaps Fox News has heard the people who watched "The Five" in the past, and have finally decided that Geraldo Rivera is too toxic to remain in their employ.

So now it looks as if Geraldo is Fox history and they will be getting a media divorce, Geraldo's fifth, if you count his five marriages and four previous divorces.

Rivera tends to anger conservatives as he appears to have a superior, somewhat arrogant demeanor but he often has no idea what he's talking about. Case in point is his claiming that the "AR" in the AR-15 rifle stands for "Automatic Rifle." Anyone who knows anything about firearms knows it stands for Armalite, the manufacturing company.

Regarding his current situation with Fox News, he tweeted:
My appearances today and tomorrow on The Five have been canceled. I’m sure there’s a good reason. Never fear, I’ll be back week after next. Stay safe and happy. Thanks 🙏

— Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) May 4, 2023
So what does "I'm sure there's a good reason" Geraldo refers to? It sounds as if he doesn't know, but it sure doesn't sound good.

Geraldo is one of several "liberals" on "The Five," rotating with Jessica "The Voice" Tarlov and Harold Ford Jr., but he appears to be the one who angers the audience, and probably Greg Gutfeld, the most. Recently Gutfeld became visibly angry with Rivera for taking a cheap shot at Tucker Carlson.
You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people. https://t.co/20LOwVzXwS
— GregGutfeld (@greggutfeld) April 26, 2023
Rivera also defended President Biden saying that he could not imagine Biden being involved in a bribery scheme. That went over like flatulence in a crowded elevator with conservatives.

Why it's almost as if Rivera hasn't checked out Biden's history and his son's laptop. However, the smart money says that it's the Gutfeld situation that has made the biggest impact on the move.

CNN, MSNBC hail Biden as fastidious note-checker when the going gets tough

Most people would expect the President of the United States to certainly be a little prepared for tough questions, however they know he would never have all the answers. But according to CNN and MSNBC, President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. isn't your everyday, ordinary president. When Joe gets asked a question he goes to the source for a complete response--his handy-dandy 16-point bold Times New Roman notes.

After all, how can anyone, especially the President of the United States, be expected to hold all that information in one brain? This is why Joe Biden is special. He isn't afraid to show the world he did his homework, or at least someone on his staff did it for him.

On Saturday, President Biden was asked whether Russia was behind a recent ransomware attack on a US business. At the time, Biden was shopping in a store in Traverse City, Michigan. When the question was asked, the President went to "Old Reliable" as he likes to refer to the papers in his pocket.

A reporter began to ask Mr. Biden, "With the most recent hack by the Russians, would you say that this means – " and then he was interrupted by the President. The question was in reference to the Miami-based IT software management company Kaseya.

"I'll be in better shape to talk about it – hold on for one second," Biden said, then reached into his jacket, extracted his notes and claimed his jacket just "briefed" him about the hack, but not in those exact words. Unfortunately, even with his crib sheet, he still looked confused and in need of a hug from his doctor wife who might reward him with an ice cream cone--flavor to be later determined.

Some critics on social media attacked Biden's mental decline, using his reliance on notes as an indication of it, but c'mon man, that mental decline is as charming as a box of puppies being held by a sweet little girl whose hair might be targeted by an old man's nose.

cis gender Brian Stelter

Compromised News Network's (CNN) Brian Stelter, host of "Reliable Anonymous Sources" defended Biden's use of notes. "Hey, I use notes too," Stelter said in that effeminate way he has. "See?" and he held up a sheet with the word "See" on it.

But Geraldo Rivera, a Fox News contributor and a legend in his own mind asked, "Can't we all just get along and give the guy a break?"

In response to the criticism Biden said, "How many of these, um, fresh things, you know, like food but not that, these um, things that . . .  never mind."

CNN worries that someone will flush

Brian "Baldy Bean" Stelter got his twit handed to him after he went on Twitter and actually bragged about how CNN skipped coverage of the Trump rally.

When you brag about what you were supposed to do as journalists but refused to do, that's kind of when the twit hits the fan.

The corpulent munchkin told his Twitter followers that his network didn't air President Trump's rally in Duluth, Minn. which was held just hours after he caved to the left and signed an executive order to end family separation of those who cross the border illegally with their children.

In effect, what Baldy Bean said was CNN covers only what it wants you, their selective-and-low-information audience, to hear.

The CNN cretin tweeted:
"As expected, the only cable newsers carrying tonight's Trump rally are Fox News and Fox Biz."
So Fox News' Greg Gutfeld in response tweeted:
"President Trump speaks on a day of a major story development; and the nation's hall monitor prides self on not covering it."
Geraldo Rivera, the obnoxious, self-aggrandizing not-so closet liberal responded:
"That doesn't make them wrong."
Clearly Rivera is working for the wrong network. In fact, whenever he's on "The Five" and passionately interrupts a conservative trying to make a point, I go over to a Netflix show and try to guess at what point the initial gay or lesbian sex scene will occur. [FYI: it's usually in the first ten minutes.]

But back to Stelter--after he tweeted the dude was bombarded with more negative comments than likes and retweets.

One Twitter user tweeted:
"'As expected?' Cable news is 24/7. Why would you not broadcast a Presidential rally?"
Another asked:
"Why isn't CNN covering the President? Couldn't you get @Acosta to stand in the crowd & scream questions at him?"
Many of the tweets simply mocked the "in-the-toilet" ratings of the Certainly Not News network. One person tweeted:
"So you're settling for last place again? Awesome!"
Trump's point about fake news becomes increasingly easier to accept. When a so-called news organization brags about not covering a presidential rally [because they don't like the president], and the left is okay with that, it indicates the unweaving of the fabric of democracy.

Ironically, at one point during Trump's rally, the crowd erupted into chants of "CNN sucks."

Maybe that's what CNN anticipated and didn't have the guts to deal with negativity the same way Trump and his family has dealt with enormous animosity from the mainstream media and the vulgarity of the leftist entertainment industry.

Geraldo says 2nd Amendment is stupid

Image result for the five with geraldo
Watching "The Five" when Geraldo Rivera is on the panel is like watching a flaming liberal throw a hissy-fit with conservatives. In order to successfully accomplish this arduous task, it is best to take an anti-nausea medication and several glasses of wine. But what Rivera tweeted out in the middle of the San Bernadino terrorist attack was too disgusting to assuage.

The self-described "war journalist" and hero extraordinaire tweeted: "Mass shooting in San Bernadino California at a Center for the Developmentally Disabled WTF! The 2nd Amendment is Stupid!!! Don't rationalize."

Rivera loves to call the Second Amendment "stupid" because he doesn't seem to know why it isn't stupid, which makes him stupid.

Last August a firearms instructor was accidentally killed by a 9-year-old boy on the gun range. The day of the shooting, Rivera posted on Facebook (which for a TV personality is a stupid thing to do, and you will understand why when you read below).
"Like I always say, the 2nd Amendment, the provision that gives every American the right to keep and bear arms, is blind and stupid. In its relentless pimping for the gun industry, the NRA has unleashed an avalanche of deadly weapons on this gun-crazy country. Just as it protects access to weapons for cops and hunters, it also protects access to weapons for domestic abusers, mental patients, jerk-offs on the no-fly list, all-around dim bulbs, and now little children."
So for Rivera, the Second Amendment is stupid in all cases, which is incredibly stupid to say.

Our founding fathers were wise enough to know that absolute power corrupts absolutely, and taking that power from the people, as Hitler did back in the 30's by confiscating all guns, was his way to make the country impotent to stop his rise to dictator.
A Weiner-esque moment

The claim that "the NRA has unleashed an avalanche of deadly weapons on this gun-crazy country" is like saying "that crazy guy, Henry Ford, has unleashed an avalanche of deadly automobiles on this car-crazy country."

The fact that Rivera used terms like "jerk offs" and "WTF" on his Facebook page doesn't show that he's 'cool' or 'fresh,' it shows that he's stupid.

Stupid people believe that guns, not people, kill. They also believe that if you impose strict gun-control laws (which everyone knows is just the start of total gun confiscation the left wants) there will be fewer murders.

How can you buy a gun if they're outlawed?

Duh.

Fox News Blues

As a staunch conservative, I read lots of conservative blogs, read the Washington Times, and watch The Five on Fox News.

I'm thinking of giving up on the latter, however, because it's becoming too tedious to sit through the show while uber liberal, Geraldo Rivera and his mustache, constantly interrupt whoever is making a point I would like to hear in total.

His blatant narcissism is on par with another great American hero, Brian Williams. I suspect Geraldo and Brian went on nation-saving missions together.

I appreciate that Greg Gutfeld tries stop Rivera from filibustering, but Fox News in general, is having liberals take over the conversation. I include Bill O'Reilly in that assessment, but certainly less so than for The Five or Hannity.

The problem with Hannity, as I see it,  is that he usually needs to inject his opinion into the response of someone who is in the process of giving his or her opinion, and he always seems to be ticking off the same talking points, night after night.

Juan Williams is more likable, sort of, but even he can get obnoxious and will often filibuster his liberal points, frequently interrupting whenever someone with a brain wants to speak.

Now that I have a PVR, I record some of the Fox News programs (as I'm doing even now as I write this at around 5 pm--get it?) and I simply fast forward through the "Hi, I'm William Devane" gold commercials, and the times when Geraldo's or Juan's lips are moving.

It both saves time and aggravation.

Sunday News Flushings of the Week

I am having difficulty focusing today. Excuse any errors you might find in my blog.

The Obamacare deadline is tomorrow. At this time, 6 million people have signed up for coverage, 745 have paid for their coverage, and 5,999,255 have yet to pay. Of those who are not paid up for coverage, 5,678,666 people had first lost their coverage and needed to get covered with Obamacare. Of the 5,678,666 who lost their coverage, signed onto Obamacare, and now are being counted, 4 of them have paid in full, 5,787,543 are over the age of 40 and of those, over half have serious health issues. Thus, of all those who allegedly signed up and are considered a member of the "invincibles," there are 46 who meet the criteria. Therefore, Obamacare is a total success if you're a liberal. Finally, it is projected that there will be a surge of over 56 million people checking that little box to get a postponement for the immediate future.

MH 370 is still missing. The latest debris was not from the plane but is believed to be the debris from the Benghazi wreckage, which was discarded by Libyan litterbug Muslims. CNN's Anderson Cooper, plans to swim out to new debris found in the Indian Ocean, while Fox's Geraldo Rivera plans to do the same and has challenged Cooper to a race to the debris.
"A Muslim walks into a bar . . . "

Obama, in a hard-hitting interview with Chris Matthews of MSNBC, has called Pope Francis a "damn liar," in regard to the privat conversation they had. Obama claims that the holy Pontiff said that he's doing a "spot-on" job as president, while  the Pontiff claims that he said no such thing, but tried to discuss how Catholics are being forced to go against their religious beliefs by paying for birth control and abortion procedures. Matthews ended the interview by saying, "Thank you for bringing this evil pope's shameful lie to the light of day, Mr. President. I love you, man."

In what can only be viewed as an hypocritical  historical move, Obama now wants his signature debacle to cover Cialis, Viagra, abortions and all birth control measures. So now men can have all the fun they want, and women don't have to be saddled with another little person in their life. Regarding abortion, Ronald Reagan observed that people who were in favor of it, have already been born.

Friday Flushings

The Costa Concordia screwup is going to costa the company a lotta money to make those passengers who survived the crash happy. It looks like they've agreed to pay out $14,000 for each passenger--not a fortune by any means--along with the payoff of medical expenses and the full ticket refund.  Of course, the real money spent by the passengers, and you will know this if youve ever gone on a  cruise, is the cost of the booze passengers drink while sailing the seven seas.  Most people are not likely to settle for such a pittance and will take their cases to court, and we will see what follows.

Obama calls for college financial aid overhaul because of the incredible increase in tuition--he can thank those liberal professors who continue to inflate their salaries and raise the cost of the socialist educations they provide, but somehow I think he'll find a way to tie this problem to the Bush administration.

Democratic Voters
Republicans continue to make it virtually impossible for dead people to vote in the state of Florida now  that they are requiring some form of identification.  Democrats are up in arms stating that dead Americans have just as much right to vote as live people, and that once a person dies, it is natural for him or her to vote Democrat.  The Dems spokesperson, an angry woman dressed in a $3 hat and matching clown outfit, said that asking for photo ID is discriminatory to poor people and vampires, who don't photograph.  I suspect she represented the latter group.

They want to take the fighting out of hockey.  Without the fisticuffs, hockey would be nothing more than a bunch of guys skating while they play golf using a net instead of a little hole in the ground. I say let them fight--if they're worried about concussions, they can go golfing with Obama--his concussion did not happen on the golf course.  And really, if they want to ban fighting in hockey, why do they allow it in boxing? This idea sounds like it's coming from "everyone gets a trophy" group of liberals.

I believe Mitt neutered Newt in last night's debate.   When Newt tried to knock out Mitt with the Fannie Freddie stock holdings, Mitt made it clear that his investments are blind and that they are mutual funds, which is a case where he lends the money to the company and they use it for their growth. Then Mitt zinged Newt about his Fannie and Freddie investments.  Newt was tagged big time. Rick did well, I believe, and Ron Paul needs to get his suit pressed.

Geraldo receiving Distinguished Flying BS cross
Geraldo Rivera, of Fox News, and of Willowbrook, Afghanistan, and Occupy Walls Street fame, predicts that the Hispanic vote will go to Mitt.  Geraldo, as you may know, is an expert in many many areas such as, Spanish culture, Jewish culture, foreign wars, mental retardation, gay rights, sailing, standing in hurricanes, ghetto living, moustaches, and ducking Viet Nam. He believes Mitt will win Florida on Tuesday but lose to Obama in the election, which also means that Geraldo thinks Mitt will win the nomination.

Barney Frank is marrying his dude partner--I bet they will not be going to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Indonesia, or any Islamic country for their honeymoon.  Michael Moore will be making a documentary of the event (sarc).
The Barney Pat

I can`t wait to see what the rest of the week will bring. Today it brought by birthday.  (Don`t ask). When I was little I used to wish for little red fire engine cars, sleds, and ponies.  Today, I just wish for that pain in my back to go away.

Have a great weekend.
