Bette Midler calls for Tucker Carlson and Newt Gingrich to be thrown in prison

Former entertainer Bette Midler, 76, took a brave stance by calling for FOX News host Tucker Carlson and Newt Gingrich to be thrown in jail and for Rupert Murdoch to have his American citizenship revoked.

The contrarian bravery Midler expressed was inspiring. Clearly, nobody on the left would ever have the guts to tweet that "[T]ucker Carlson should be arrested and tried for sedition and fomenting insurrection." She must have known her brave tweet would receive flak from people who believe that anyone should be allowed to speak whatever they want to say, unless their words call for violence. How dare they!

But that wasn't the end of Midler's unbiased attack. She next went after former Republican Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich and Rupert Murdoch, owner of News Corporation, which is the parent company of FOX News.

Speaking on behalf of the nation, the elderly Midler wrote: "Murdoch should have his citizenship revoked; the damage he continues to do to our democracy will soon become irreparable."

Unfortunately, Ms. Midler's definition of democracy must have been acquired after sundown, as her
 "Sundowning" syndrome evidently kicked in.

Bette was on a roll. She next claimed on Wednesday that "Newt Gingrich should be clapped in irons [i.e., jailed abruptly] for getting him past the FCC." The 'him' she was referring to was Murdoch.

On Saturday she again attacked Murdoch and referred to him as a dictator. It's unclear what made her believe that, but what is clear is that she is often unclear.

Midler, who voted for Joe Biden for President because she thought he would be the best man for the job, shared an infographic that depicted billionaires who own large media companies. Although she was again ranting and raving about Rupert Murdoch, the 2018 infographic and the corresponding BBC article did not mention Murdoch at all.

"Sadly, this list leaves off the most vicious, the ugliest, the most hate-filled owner of all, Rupert Murdoch, Tucker Carlson’s master, who has ruined political discourse all around the world," Midler said, then added a quote she apparently made up, "'Own the press & 1/2 the work of. dictatorship is done.'"

The aged actress clutched her pearls and ungrammatically asked, "We will survive Murdoch?"

She 'marathon tweeted' about Murdoch and Carlson almost 30 times, desperate to save the country from a different point of view, where there are only two genders, all babies count, and the cops are the good guys.

Earlier this month, the New York Times, a hard-left, disreputable newspaper that makes an excellent birdcage liner, ran several hit pieces on Carlson – which he laughed off.

The irrelevant actress posted a tweet on Wednesday using a famous phrase from the United States Declaration of Independence. She attempted to make a coherent hyperbolic connection to the Buffalo supermarket shooting in which a mentally ill 18-year-old white supremacist killed ten black people.

"We have 'unalienable rights?' 'Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness?' How are citizens supposed to believe in these sacred principles if they are getting slaughtered every time they go to the store? If a government can’t deliver on this foundational promise, it’s worthless," Midler ranted.

Taking life lessons from people who hate you isn't ever a good idea. Taking advice from someone who tweeted that the solution to the baby formula shortage in the nation is: "TRY BREASTFEEEDING! It’s free and available on demand,” is like taking advice from someone whose IQ is below room temperature.

"So here you have an elderly, out-of-touch, rich, liberal lady lecturing struggling American moms to shut up and suffer in silence and, by the way, make your baby shut up, too," Tucker Carlson said of Midler. "Now, if you can think of a more perfect distillation of modern politics of the left circa 2022 than that, send us an email and let us know what it is, because we've never seen anything that perfect."

Fox News stifles speech of Newt Gingrich regarding George Soros

Photo: AP/Carolyn Kaster, File

Fox News' "Outnumbered" is the top cable news network show at noon in the nation. Big deal.

On Wednesday, the network had on former Republican Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich who spoke about leftist violence in the United States.

But when host Harris Faulkner asked him for his final word, he explained what he believes is an enormous problem in many of the Democratic-run cities experiencing the riots and violence. He said that there was an inability to stop it because of the failure of progressive District Attornies such as those funded by George Soros to hold rioters accountable.

But after he brought up Soros' name, Harris Faulkner looked as if she was going to bring something up and it might have been her lunch. Both Harris and co-host Melissa Francis got very strange with Gingrich as did Marie Harf, a former Obama administration official and now Fox's leftist commentator.

It got very uncomfortable when @newtgingrich correctly pointed out that Soros threw a fortune of his  money into DA races all over the country to elect far-left radicals and Fox News basically told him to shut up. WTF? pic.twitter.com/IxwcLG2gOH

— Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) September 16, 2020

Harf shilled for Soros and claimed that it wasn’t true.

But yes, of course it's true. A Soros-backed PAC has funded the campaigns of progressive DAs across the country. It isn’t even a question and has been reported by multiple outlets for years including the former newspaper, The New York Times, Politico, Free Beacon and RedState. The first two on the list are quite left-leaning.

Kim Gardner, the Circuit Attorney in St. Louis who went after the McCloskeys (for defending their home with firearms from the Marxist rioters) is a Soros-backed leftist as is Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx who made quite a mess with the Jussie Smollett case.

It appears that Soros likes his "Kims." Wonder what he thinks of Kim Jong-un.

But it seems that Fox News has an issue of some sort over implicating Soros with being involved with the funding of these people. And there's no question that his money has helped the leftist cause for the people he funds.

What Soros has done is not in question, but what is in question is why Fox News going berserk and refusing to even discuss Soros. It isn't as if they haven't covered him before.

FBI went after Trump looking for a crime

The New York Times on Friday published an incredible story titled: "F.B.I. Opened Inquiry into Whether Trump was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia." If you don't think this is disgusting and shows just how crazy the Washington swamp has become, you don't know Jack. It might even be illegal.

The article began:
WASHINGTON — In the days after President Trump fired James B. Comey as F.B.I. director, law enforcement officials became so concerned by the president’s behavior that they began investigating whether he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests, according to former law enforcement officials and others familiar with the investigation.
So this is an FBI going after a person to find a crime. Usually it's the other way around--a crime had been committed and the FBI does their "I thing," they investigate.

Is it perhaps due to Trump's firing the weasel who led the agency investigating him?

The Times continued:
The inquiry carried explosive implications. Counterintelligence investigators had to consider whether the president’s own actions constituted a possible threat to national security. Agents also sought to determine whether Mr. Trump was knowingly working for Russia or had unwittingly fallen under Moscow’s influence.
The investigation the F.B.I. opened into Mr. Trump also had a criminal aspect, which has long been publicly known: whether his firing of Mr. Comey constituted obstruction of justice.
Of course it isn't obstruction--the president can fire whoever he chooses to fire that he had appointed. If you pay attention to the way the Gray Rag Lady words it, you can see how bias they are against Trump.

Newt Gingrich believes the FBI probe was led by anti-Trump fanatics who went against the Constitution, writing:
A group of bureaucrats – elected by no one – sat in a room and decided they would investigate the new president of the United States for possible treason. Let me repeat: treason. This is, after all, the implication of this investigation.

This group of bureaucrats reports to no one in elected authority. In a Justice Department where employees gave 97 percent of their presidential campaign contributions to Hillary Clinton, the hostility toward – and fear of – newly elected President Trump was deep.
His point is that all involved in this covert operation were promoted under the Obama administration and were ready to overturn the "verdict of the American people in the 2016 election." And the same agency minimized the Clinton email and Internet scandals and the FACT that Bill Clinton collected money from Russians overseas while Hillary was secretary of state, in an incredible double-standard.

Thus, while there was clear evidence that Hillary violated the Espionage Act with her private bathroom server, they investigated Trump to look for evidence.

And since they decided to look for evidence against Trump and could not share it with him as he was the target, the person they should have gone to would have been Mike Pence, the Vice President, to brief him. Pence is as clean as the driven snow and has a history behind him to show that, so there is no reason not to have taken that step. Except this sounds like it was all political.

This is exactly what Trump talks about when he speaks of the swamp.

It's a new year and the world still hasn't come to an end with President Trump in the White House, in spite of what the media and the left [but I repeat myself] would have you believe.

I hope that you will follow Brain Flushings throughout the year and feel free to comment on any issues of concern. Please subscribe and check out the sponsors on these pages too.

Trump may fire Sessions or not

President Trump is talking with advisers to discuss the idea of firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions as he continues to publicly rage against the AG's decision to recuse himself over the Russian meddling of the 2016 presidential campaign.

It's obvious that Trump is extremely angry at Sessions, referring to him as "beleaguered" in a tweet, but while he frequently talks about making staff changes, he often fails to follow through, or perhaps changes his mind.

Trump tweeted Monday:
"So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys (sic) crimes & Russia relations?"
Department of Justice officials say that Sessions is in "good spirits."

The criticism with which Trump has been discussing Sessions has created speculation that either Trump will fire him or he will resign.

Someone shouted a question during a White House event asking whether Sessions should step down--Trump ignored the question. Last week, however, Sessions said that he intended to stay on the job.

Should Sessions go, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein would be next in line for the position, at least as acting AG. But it was Rosenstein who appointed Mueller and Trump has been sharply critical of him, both in public and private for that move.

Four White House officials leaked on condition of anonymity because they valued their jobs, to discuss private conversations.

If Sessions goes and Rosenstein moves up, Trump might ask him to fire Robert Mueller, the special counsel leading the investigation, because of his hiring of all Hillary Clinton supporters to help in the investigation. Trump rightfully believes the deck is stacked against him.

Sessions recused himself from the investigation knowing that it would raise eyebrows after he revealed that he'd met with a top Russian diplomat last year. And while the meeting is perfectly legal and normal, Democrats have attacked everyone in the Trump administration for ridiculous events. They would probably go after POTUS if they caught him using Russian salad dressing.

Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House and frequent Trump adviser noted that the president wears his feelings on his tweets and said he was probably just venting about Sessions and being "honest with his feelings. But that doesn't mean he's going to do anything."

Gingrich admitted, however, that such statements by the president would have repercussions with staff morale.

"Anybody who is good at team building would suggest to the president that attacking team members of your team rattles the whole team," Gingrich said.

Sessions and Trump were close at one time. Trump even momentarily shared the same ideology as Sessions and it was he who backed Trump's campaign and gave the reality TV star political 'cred'.

After Trump public rebuke of Sessions last week, the AG seemed determined to stay on the job and said of that it "goes beyond anything that I would have ever imagined for myself."

"I'm totally confident that we can continue to run this office in an effective way," Sessions said.

It would be a mistake to fire Sessions, especially over his recusal, which to many people was the proper thing to do. Many in his base might have second thoughts.

Homophobe and racist, Al Franken compares Trump to OJ

Senator Al Franken (Dirtbag--Minn.) is stupid and he can't shut up.

Franken, a former Saturday Night Live failed comic, gave up his failed occupation to try his mouth at politics. But in spite of giving up an attempt at comedy, he can be quite funny, albeit unintentionally.

The leftist, frog-face senator has written a memoir humbly titled Giant of the Senate. It is due to hit the shelves May 30th, but Heat Street was able to get a copy.

In the book, Franken compares President Trump to O.J. Simpson, the former NFL running back and Hall of Fame winner who is serving time in a Nevada prison for a 2008 conviction of kidnapping, robbery and assault.

Simpson most likely got away with murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, but the prosecution 'blew it' in court and he walked on the charge.

Franken wasn't joking when he made that bizarre comparison. "He was a sore winner," Franken wrote of Trump's election victory. "The president-elect actually insisted that three to five million votes had been fraudulently cast by illegal immigrants, every single one of them were for Hillary Clinton.

"It was almost as if the incoming commander-in-chief had some sort of mental health problem. The kind of mental health problem that you would be disturbed to discover in your kid's piano teacher, let alone the president of the United States of America.

"Later, when Trump demanded an investigation into those three to five million fraudulent votes, it reminded me of O.J. Simpson, who, after being acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and Ron Goldman, vowed to spend the rest of his life 'finding the killer or killers.'"

Then Franken adds: "After the public learned that President Trump spent actual time calling the National Park Service to insist they release more flattering photographs of the crowds at his inauguration, it began to dawn on many Americans, including a number of my Republican colleagues, that the new leader of our country was, indeed, unbalanced."

If only President Trump was more like him, he opines. "Like Trump, I had no previous experience in elected office. Unlike Trump, I was actually bothered by my lack of experience."

Franken went on but you'll have to read a libtard's copy of the book to read it. But don't buy it--then the idiots win.

Franken certainly is looking forward to the end of the Trump era. "The fact that he is the president, and Republicans control Congress, and that means we're going to have to watch Donald Trump be the president. Day after day . after day [insert laugh]. Insulting speeches. Insane tweets. Policies that are both insulting and insane. This is going to suck for a while. But not forever."

Evidently, Franken forgot his own suck-worthy words.

An article in  The Daily Caller said that while Franken spoke at a White House Correspondents Dinner in 1996, he "ridiculed [Gingrich] with a joke about his daughter's first menstrual period," Deborah Orin of The New York Post reported at the time.

According to The Daily Caller, the joke was so out-of-bounds that then-Vice President Al Gore walked over to Newt's table with an apology. The Weekly Standard reported that "Soon after, Gingrich encountered Franken and told him that, were Gingrich not a public figure, he'd have punched the comic out."

Working as a writer and comic for SNL, Franken helped write a racist skit advertising a fake toothpaste called "Tarbrush," which is meant to darken black people's white teeth, according to the book "Saturday Night: A Backstage History of Saturday Night Live" by Doug Hill and Jeff Weingrad.

The authors write: "One sketch written for Garrett was a parody commercial for a toothpaste called 'Tarbrush,' which darkened blacks' supposedly shiny white teeth." Hill and Weingrad added that two black technicians on the show reportedly walked out due to how offensive the skit was. "We relied on [Morris] to bring some blackness to the show," Franken told the authors.

Senator Franken is also on the record for making anti-gay statements.

While working for SNL, he told the Harvard University newspaper "I just don't like homosexuals. If you ask me, they're all homosexuals in the Pudding [a Harvard social club].

"Hey, I was glad when that Pudding homosexual got killed in Philadelphia."

Yes, Al Franken really said that. Imagine if he was a Republican.

Newt: "Little Trump is frankly pathetic"

Newt Gingrich described a small man inside of Donald Trump who lashes out at his Republican allies and is "frankly pathetic."

"Donald Trump has one opponent. Her name is Hillary Clinton. Her name is not Paul Ryan. It's not anybody else," Newt told Fox Business.

This came after Trump ranted on Ryan at a Florida rally Wednesday. Donald was upset that Ryan didn't congratulate him after the second presidential debate on Sunday.

"Look, first of all, let me just say about Trump, who I admire and I've tried to help as much as I can. There's a big Trump and a little Trump. The little Trump is frankly pathetic. I mean, he's mad over not getting a phone call?"

I see Trump not only as pathetic, but as a guy whose narcissism gets in the way of his judgment. And I don't mean it in a disparaging way, but in a clinical sense.

The Mayo Clinic defines narcissistic personality disorder thus: "a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for other. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism."

Narcissists uses others as their mirror. If the mirror reflects an unflattering reflection, the narcissist feels injured and perhaps insulted, and becomes angry. In Ryan's case, Trump felt he was being "disloyal" to him and went ballistic on Twitter.

Ryan, of course, felt he couldn't support Trump after the audio and video of his "locker room talk"with then-host of "Access Hollywood" Billy Bush went public.

Trump doesn't know when to let something go and campaign against his opponent. His narcissism gets in the way.

He needs to make it clear what he will do the day he becomes president. He needs to do this consistently. He needs to stop attacking Clinton and the Republican Party and talk about his differences POLITICALLY and stop preaching to the choir of voters who are going to vote for him even if he shoots someone on Broadway.

We know about "the wall." We know who's going to build it. We know you probably did at least half the things those women are accusing you of, but Hillary is worse and we know it.

Now is the time to drop the schtick and get on the stick.

Romney Beats Santorum, Paul Beats Gingrich, Gingrich Should Beat It

So Illinois has voted and Romney has won with a clear margin of victory over Santorum and Ron Paul is laughing it up because he doesn't care a fiddler's whatever if he wins anymore delegates because he isn't in it for the presidency--he's in it to send a message and that message is: even an old fart who gave up his medical practice to practice the art of politics can have his own roadies.

But Newt, that dear old genius with the silver tongue and sharp mind, should pack it in and ride off into the sunset. He's done, and he knows it, but his ego has taken over his reasoning and his anger with Mitt has become more important than his party, and I believe he's damaging the GOP's chances of beating Obama in November.  I hope I'm wrong.

The same can be said about Rick Santorum. He has the social conservative vote, but he doesn't have the fiscal conservative nor the independent vote and that bodes poorly for his chances against our divisive socialist leader. And he still looks like he's smelling something funny when he tries to smile.

Well, on Saturday it's on to Louisiana where Rick is slated to win, Paul is slated to be the Constitutional rock star that he is, Mitt is slated to run second, and Newt is slated to have the best darn "we're still going all the way" speech you've ever heard. And all the while this circus keeps playing on and on, Obama is thinking his chances of stealing a second term, a term where he can really go for socialist broke, is getting to be a foregone conclusion.

Peace out.

Super Tuesday: 2 Beers, 1 Blog

I'm watching Fox News this Super Tuesday and will report my thoughts on the results as time runs on, runs on. There are 419 delegates at stake tonight.

Newt wins his home state of Georgia, Romney wins Virginia and Vermont, and Iran Paul supporters are still backing a loser anti-Semite isolationist.  The only proof I have of the latter is his old newsletter which, in fact, was anti-Semitic and racist, but Paul denied knowing anything about them and kept repeating the word 'Constitution.'  We should consider playing Word Bingo with Paul and see how often he refers to that word.  He seems to think that our other candidates disregard the Constitution, but never challenges Obama on his unconstitutional behavior.

As I write this, Ohio's poles just closed and the night should be pretty interesting, except for Santorum's vest--he should definitely lose the vest--it just isn't presidential and image, unfortunately, is almost everything. Let's face it, Obama became president, so you know how true this is.  Ohio is going to be key to Super Tuesday, just like Eli Manning was key to Super Sunday.

A few quick facts about Ohio, while I await the numbers.  Did you know that cats originated in Ohio?  If you don't believe me, check under their tails and you will see an "O." Currently, Ohio has a somewhat lower percentage of unemployment as compared to the rest of the nation, at around 7.9%, but there are pockets of high unemployment and green jobs aren't changing that.  Final fact: Christopher Columbus did not discover the Ohio city named after him.

Paul is now speaking in Fargo, ND. If you've seen the movie by that name, you can picture him standing by the wood chipper with Steve Bucemi's feet sticking up from the loader as he keeps repeating to Bucemi's feet: "Constitution this, you bastard."

Mitt is leading in Ohio, but it' early. Santorum is breathing down his neck and Romney is complaining that Santorum's breath smells like a communion wafer, while Santorum is threatening to give Romney an atomic weggie but wouldn't want to offend his religious undergarment. Brit Hume almost fell asleep again on camera.

Break to real news and we see how our Republican candidates vow to kick Iranian butt if Iran gets a nuclear weapon. Iran Paul said that they said they promise to not do that and there is no reason not to believe them, he said. Shep Smith spoke with Ed Rollins and I realized how much Rollins looks like James Clapper, the guy who didn't have a clue about terrorists, terrorist, and Islam.

Brit Hume is back on and Juan Williams responded to him, sounding like he just arrived after cutting special class. Brit thinks the non-Romney vote that went to Iran Paul, is basically a protest vote.  Juan Williams just discovered why the French invented the cuff buttons on suit jackets--the French wives put them there to keep their husbands from wiping their nose on their sleeve.

This beer is really good--a Canadian brew.

Ohio is still too close to call, but Rick S. won Oklahoma, and Calista Gingrich is now speaking before Newt goes up to the podium. She says their only opponent is Obama. Santorum also won Tennessee, which bodes well for him.

Newt is up at bat.  The crowd is chanting his name over and over. He thanks the crowd and denounces the national elite for trying to dictate the race.  "Wall Street money can be beaten by mainstream work," he says, and the crowd loves it.   He continues to pound the media, as he does so well. He is willing to allow Obama a teleprompter if he gets the chance for a Lincoln-Douglas  debate.  He says Obama's speeches are "so deliciously incoherent. " He is so right.

Rick is in Ohio and will be speaking too--he i in Steubenville, Ohio, in a gymnasium, probably in a vest again.  Ed Rollins thinks if Rick wins Ohio, he's going to make a huge advance and might even get a few bucks out of the deal from his supporters. Steve Hayes and Brit Hume both thought Newt's speech was too long. Hume thought it was the longest speech ever given by a candidate who was significantly behind in the race. Ed Rollins, aka James Clapper, thought Newt's speech wasn't very inspirational.

Rick is wearing a suit with a solid blue tie. He is bragging about how candidates normally don't come to Steubenville, Ohio, and seems psyched. He introduced his 93 year old mom, and the rest of his family.  He is appealing to the small town crowd that, he says, has made the USA a great country.  I am worried that he might get the nomination and lose to Barry in November. I chuckle whenever Rick strains his words to sound sincere-I believe he is totally sincere, but I wish he'd sound like it. I like Rick Santorum--he's better than ten Obamas, and I like Newt, who I totally believe can beat Obama mano a mano, but Mitt is probably going to win the nomination, and if he does, I fully support him. If Iran Paul wins, I may change my name to Ahmed and just try to blend in.

I wonder if Iran Paul is going to speak. I wonder how many times he uses the word 'Constitution.' I wonder why he left medicine.

Mitt's wife introduced him and the crowd actually sounded enthusiastic--she spoke too long, I believe, but that's just me. Mitt sounded presidential as he spoke about the care that veterans deserve and how he wants to keep government out of the workplace--I hope he's serious. At least he doesn't have an Obamaprompter--I mean teleprompter. His focus was on the economy and jobs and I think it's good that he's staying on point. I like that he's attacking Obama on how he would be unrestrained if he got four more years, because he wouldn't need to worry about reelection.  I agree with him--another four years of Obama would be an Obamination.

Tomorrow's a Day Away

(Sung to the tune of "Tomorrow" from Annie--sort of)

The voters will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar, that tomorrow, there'll be votes.  Just thinking about tomorrow clears away the liberals and the sorrow of Obama. Hope he's gone. When I vote on a day that's gray, and lonely, I just stick out my chin, and grin, and say, Oh bama, Oh bama don't want ya, don't need ya, I'll see ya, you're only an election aaaaaawwwaaaayyy.

The liberals won't be here tomorrow, with Oh bama; so ya gotta stick out your chin, and grin, come what may. Oh bama, Oh bama don't like ya, don't like Marx, nor Soros, nor tent parks, so you've got to goooooooo aaaaawwwwaaaaaayyyy!

With Florida in just a few hours, we have a serious decisive situation where the voters will speak louder than they have up to this point in the nomination process.  Mitt is heavily favored to win, followed by Newt, then Rick, then some guy in a bad suit.  This is a winner take all state for the delegates and it will likely help Mitt a lot. But don't count out Newt--he can surprise you if, say, he punches out Chris Matthews on National TV.  That alone should win him the full nomination but somehow I suspect the leftist media will merely see it as workplace violence, like they and the President saw the Fort Hood shooting.  Of course, Keith Olbermann will go into hiding if this happened to Matthews. Liberals should eat Purina cat food.

Anyway, I ask your forgiveness for botching up the song, "Tomorrow" and hope you see it in your heart to continue reading my blog, subscribing to it, and bouncing around on the advertisements without necessarily buying anything to help support capitalism and my food habit.

Remember too, that a vote for Newt is a vote for a 51st state on the moon, and a vote for Mitt is a vote for Romneycare. A vote for Rick is a vote for goodness and family values while a vote for Ron is just plain suicide.  This is my opinion and just because it is, doesn't make me correct.

Can't We All Just Get Along

The GOP debates see to have gotten better and better since they began 869 debates ago, or so it seems. The candidates have gone at each other and have scored some good points on the issues facing the nation.  Some, like Pawlenty, Perry and Bachmann have dropped out of the battle when it looked obvious that this was not going to be their time, and some, like Ron Paul, have hung on, if only to make a point.

What seems to be missing, however, is that the contenders have not sufficiently gone after Obama, and now are going after each other with a vengeance.  I'm speaking primarily of Newt and Mitt, although Rick and Ron are not completely innocent of attacking those in their own party.  The question now is, will these attacks turn off those independent voters who might not have voted for King Obama?

Newt is being labeled a nonconservative, but that certainly isn't true.  There were times in the Reagan administration where Newt actually was further to the right than Reagan.  Mitt's campaign is accusing him of a gross ethics violation and stating that he left office in disgrace-this is overstated.

Mitt is being labeled as a rich moderate, and a flip-flopper; in part, this is true, but there's no doubt that for now, he has the best chance of beating Obama, but this is always subject to change.  Moreover, what is wrong with being successful and making money? That's called capitalism, and just because the word was invented by that unwashed lazy bum Marx, doesn't make it bad--it makes it good.  Yes, capitalism is good.

Rick said that Mitt's healthcare program is very similar to Obamacare, which Mitt denies, but Rick zinged him in the last debate and made him look bad because the truth is, Mitt's program is like Obamacare and is basically mandatory, which he denied.

Conducting Israel Philharmonic--just kidding
Ron didn't really go into specifics in the debate, probably because he's more focused on ideals than issues, and didn't seem to have much knowledge about foreign issues that go beyond his isolationist program, but his followers love him--if he wore a tutu and danced the Makarina his followers would still love him.

But these guys are hurting the chances of a Republican occupying the White House come 2013. They should tone their attacks way down and focus on Obama's lack of leadership, distorted American vision, failure to make good on real promises, the ruined economy, his military cuts in spite of his accolades of the military to make himself look good, his failure to support our closest ally in the Middle East, Israel, and being Islam's lapdog.  Instead, Mitt has spent millions in Florida ads to attack Newt, while Newt has spent something like a buck fifty and made public appearances to do the same, and Rick is home with his sick daughter and we wish her well.  Ron, whose supporters haven't done much for him financially because they're the Republican version of Occupy Something or Other, has forgone Florida and instead is counting on his message to get him through the night.

Meanwhile, during these attacks, Obama is pretending to be as great a president as Abraham Lincoln and as inspiring a leader as Mohammad.  His approval rating has gone up because people who still like him have the attention span of sponge, and independents have the memory of brook trout.  But Republican candidates better get their scnapps together or they stand to lose more than just the presidency.

Tuesday is probably going to be the telling point in the nomination process.  I suspect Mitt is going to pull it off, if we can believe the polls, but you never know.  The one thing I have said, and will continue to say, is that I hope Ron Paul does not choose to run as an independent because that will kill our chances to rout Obama and the country will be going down the red brick road to socialism.

Friday Flushings

The Costa Concordia screwup is going to costa the company a lotta money to make those passengers who survived the crash happy. It looks like they've agreed to pay out $14,000 for each passenger--not a fortune by any means--along with the payoff of medical expenses and the full ticket refund.  Of course, the real money spent by the passengers, and you will know this if youve ever gone on a  cruise, is the cost of the booze passengers drink while sailing the seven seas.  Most people are not likely to settle for such a pittance and will take their cases to court, and we will see what follows.

Obama calls for college financial aid overhaul because of the incredible increase in tuition--he can thank those liberal professors who continue to inflate their salaries and raise the cost of the socialist educations they provide, but somehow I think he'll find a way to tie this problem to the Bush administration.

Democratic Voters
Republicans continue to make it virtually impossible for dead people to vote in the state of Florida now  that they are requiring some form of identification.  Democrats are up in arms stating that dead Americans have just as much right to vote as live people, and that once a person dies, it is natural for him or her to vote Democrat.  The Dems spokesperson, an angry woman dressed in a $3 hat and matching clown outfit, said that asking for photo ID is discriminatory to poor people and vampires, who don't photograph.  I suspect she represented the latter group.

They want to take the fighting out of hockey.  Without the fisticuffs, hockey would be nothing more than a bunch of guys skating while they play golf using a net instead of a little hole in the ground. I say let them fight--if they're worried about concussions, they can go golfing with Obama--his concussion did not happen on the golf course.  And really, if they want to ban fighting in hockey, why do they allow it in boxing? This idea sounds like it's coming from "everyone gets a trophy" group of liberals.

I believe Mitt neutered Newt in last night's debate.   When Newt tried to knock out Mitt with the Fannie Freddie stock holdings, Mitt made it clear that his investments are blind and that they are mutual funds, which is a case where he lends the money to the company and they use it for their growth. Then Mitt zinged Newt about his Fannie and Freddie investments.  Newt was tagged big time. Rick did well, I believe, and Ron Paul needs to get his suit pressed.

Geraldo receiving Distinguished Flying BS cross
Geraldo Rivera, of Fox News, and of Willowbrook, Afghanistan, and Occupy Walls Street fame, predicts that the Hispanic vote will go to Mitt.  Geraldo, as you may know, is an expert in many many areas such as, Spanish culture, Jewish culture, foreign wars, mental retardation, gay rights, sailing, standing in hurricanes, ghetto living, moustaches, and ducking Viet Nam. He believes Mitt will win Florida on Tuesday but lose to Obama in the election, which also means that Geraldo thinks Mitt will win the nomination.

Barney Frank is marrying his dude partner--I bet they will not be going to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Indonesia, or any Islamic country for their honeymoon.  Michael Moore will be making a documentary of the event (sarc).
The Barney Pat

I can`t wait to see what the rest of the week will bring. Today it brought by birthday.  (Don`t ask). When I was little I used to wish for little red fire engine cars, sleds, and ponies.  Today, I just wish for that pain in my back to go away.

Have a great weekend.

John King and His Orchiectomy

The King Fly
Why was Bill Clinton's sexual life a "personal matter" to the mainstream media, but Newt Gingrich's sexual life is suitable for discussion? Come to think of it, what about Herman Cain's private life?  The media was all over him like flies on a manure spreader.  Maybe that should be mainstream media's mascot--the fly.

The double standard is always obvious to those of us who are conservatives. The media is mostly composed of Democrats and socialists and they do their reporting to favor those with whom they agree.  Liberals cannot defend their failures, as Newt explained to Sean Hannity, so they must attack Conservatives on their ideals.

The Utopia that Obama wants America to become, is not possible, because there is no substance to this idea.  It is something that doesn't exist and cannot exist because it is only a vague concept that "might" exist in the future--it can never be "now" because it is only an amorphous thought, an "ideal".  Liberals typically think this way--concrete thought is not their forte.  Liberals remind me of the words of that Morris ALbert song, "Feelings, nothing more than feelings."

Liberals are nothing more than feelings.  By the way, an orchiectomy is the surgical removal of a testicle.  Ask John King about that--his was bilateral, performed by Newt Gingrich.
