Sunday News Flushings of the Week

I am having difficulty focusing today. Excuse any errors you might find in my blog.

The Obamacare deadline is tomorrow. At this time, 6 million people have signed up for coverage, 745 have paid for their coverage, and 5,999,255 have yet to pay. Of those who are not paid up for coverage, 5,678,666 people had first lost their coverage and needed to get covered with Obamacare. Of the 5,678,666 who lost their coverage, signed onto Obamacare, and now are being counted, 4 of them have paid in full, 5,787,543 are over the age of 40 and of those, over half have serious health issues. Thus, of all those who allegedly signed up and are considered a member of the "invincibles," there are 46 who meet the criteria. Therefore, Obamacare is a total success if you're a liberal. Finally, it is projected that there will be a surge of over 56 million people checking that little box to get a postponement for the immediate future.

MH 370 is still missing. The latest debris was not from the plane but is believed to be the debris from the Benghazi wreckage, which was discarded by Libyan litterbug Muslims. CNN's Anderson Cooper, plans to swim out to new debris found in the Indian Ocean, while Fox's Geraldo Rivera plans to do the same and has challenged Cooper to a race to the debris.

Obama, in a hard-hitting interview with Chris Matthews of MSNBC, has called Pope Francis a "damn liar," in regard to the privat conversation they had. Obama claims that the holy Pontiff said that he's doing a "spot-on" job as president, while  the Pontiff claims that he said no such thing, but tried to discuss how Catholics are being forced to go against their religious beliefs by paying for birth control and abortion procedures. Matthews ended the interview by saying, "Thank you for bringing this evil pope's shameful lie to the light of day, Mr. President. I love you, man." 

In what can only be viewed as an hypocritical  historical move, Obama now wants his signature debacle to cover Cialis, Viagra, abortions and all birth control measures. So now men can have all the fun they want, and women don't have to be saddled with another little person in their life. Regarding abortion, Ronald Reagan observed that people who were in favor of it, have already been born.

Saturday's Flushings from a News-Stuffed, Addled Brain

Flight MH370 is still missing; Eric Holder still refuses to have a separate committee not made up of Democrats in the DoJ investigation of the IRS targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups; Obama still hawks Obamacare like a desperate insurance salesman who needs to pay his bills; Fast and Furious is still a DoJ mystery; and Benghazi is still unsolved. We still don't know what the Obama administration and Hillary knew, and when did they know it. 

Yes, the preceding was a long sentence, but that seems to be the way things go in this country. There is no end to the corruption, incompetence, and wussified failings of what was once the most powerful country on earth. Everything seems to have gone backwards: Putin's strong-arming of Ukraine is called "weakness" by Obama, but announcing to the world that you're a gay basketball player is what he calls "brave."

We sit on our butts and watch the news. All we hear about is the missing Malaysia jet-liner. Everyone has a theory. Nobody knows the truth yet.

We allow Michelle Obama to vacation in China on our tax money--she paid nothing into the trip for her and the girls--and she will not have any news interviews. She values her privacy and our money.

We know how important the situation in Ukraine is--at least anyone with a brain knows it's major and will influence the future--and our president shows his take on the situation by showing his take on "March Madness." Obama is just too damn cool to be effective as POTUS. He has become an insurance salesman and he isn't even good at that.

We become frustrated with the disregard most politicians have for the "little guy," and we complain on Twitter and in other social media about what's wrong with our leaders. But five years have gone by and all we have is our list of complaints. Nothing of substance gets done; nothing changes.

We aren't stupid yet we're treated as if we are, and still, all we seem to do is complain. Maybe we need to do something more.

Obamacare is socialism and that should scare anyone with the knowledge of how it has failed in the world and how it has killed so many. But we need to do more than simply complain.

Flight MH 370: the real skinny

New satellite images from China seems to suggest they may have discovered the remains of Malaysian flight MH370. It also suggests that the plane didn't turn left but continued eastbound. I wonder what the conspiracy theorists are going to make of this entire story.

Were the two young Iranian men with stolen passports on a personal jihad quest, unattached to al Qa'ida but simply trying to get to the promised land of virgins, wine, and young boys? Perhaps.

Were the four or five people who decided not to take the flight somehow connected to its disappearance? Maybe.

Were the Malaysians themselves holding out the truth from us because they believed we couldn't handle the truth, or the truth was no in their best interests to reveal? What could the Malaysians be hiding? Possibly anything.

Was Lois Lerner somehow responsible? Probably. But Alex Jones is always a good bet.

MH 370 Prognostications

Did Malaysian flight MH 370 fly to Iran, captured by the Ayatollah and held in a secret location? Did the plane explode in the air and the pieces vaporized into smithereens? What's the deal with the two Iranians who got aboard the aircraft with stolen passports? Is the Malaysian military not telling us something as they send their own navy to the wrong area on a fool's errand? Did the pilot or co-pilot decide that now was the time for all good jihadists to come to the aid of Allah? What happened to the transponder? Why aren't we hearing the ping from the "black box?" And finally, will the New York Yankees get into the playoffs this season?

I don't mean to sound as if I'm making light of this terrible event, but to prognosticate when we don't know what happened, is pointless. It tells us nothing, but tries to make sense of the tragedy.

I hope the answers come soon but one thing I hope comes from this is better airport security.
