"Meatball" gets six felony charges after streaming Philadelphia's looting spree

Philadelphia social media influencer who  live-streamed the Philadelphia's Tuesday night’s looting mayhem and goes by the name "Meatball" has been charged with only six felonies.

Meatball's real name is Dayjia Blackwell, but Meatball suits her better. She shared her video of the myriad crimes and chaos when looters targeted businesses such as Apple, Foot Locker and Lululemon before getting caught.

The meatball videos posted to her Instagram account is where she can be heard laughing and encouraging the looters as she stood by and watched the disaster unfold. She also turned her camera on herself and dared the police to arrest her.

“Tell the police they’re either gonna lock me up tonight, or it’s gonna get lit, it’s gonna be a movie,” the woman called Meatball said at one point.

“This is what happens when we don’t get justice in this city,” she screamed as she joined a crowd of youngsters in the street. She obviously doesn't own a dictionary.

Meatball’s video showed hordes of looters rushing into the Apple store and running away with iPhones and tablets, items the media told them they deserve as reparation for the slavery of those they never knew, by people who have been dead for scores and scores of years.

“Free iPhones! Free iPhones,” the meatball yelled.  

Police used the social media posts of Blackwell and other alleged looters to determine their precise location amidst the chaos, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

On Wednesday, “Meatball” was handed eight separate charges including six felonies stemming from her involvement with the looting, according to court documents viewed by The Post.

Blackwell was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespassing, Conspiracy, Criminal Mischief, Riot with the intent to commit a felony and Criminal use of a Communication Facility. She was also issued two misdemeanors: receiving stolen property and Hazardous Conditions/Physically offensive.

The social influencer's bail was set for $25,000 which she posted early Thursday, according to the documents. She didn't even need to have Kamala Harris assist in raising the bail for her.

Following the mass looting that took place in the City Center neighborhood and its surrounding areas, Philadelphia police heightened security around the city on Wednesday night, but the looting didn't end there as several stores were looted: a liquor store and a Wells Fargo drive-up ATM was stolen.

Thus far, 52 alleged looters have been arrested for their involvement.

Interim-Chief of Police John Stanford told the outlet the lootings were executed by “opportunists,” who took personal advantage of the anger from the decision out of the Eddie Irizarry case.

Thousands of people took to the streets Tuesday afternoon to protest Municipal Judge Wendy Pew’s decision to dismiss all charges, including murder and manslaughter, against police officer Mark Dial who fatally shot Irizarry through a car window during an August traffic stop to protect his own life.

The protest ended around 7:30 Tuesday night, just before the city turned hectic as the unruly mob overpowered security and police officers to ransack the stores.

Illegal Aliens Get Arrested for Looting in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Florida -- They came into the US illegally and evidently figured the free benefits and transportation wasn't enough for them, so they used the opportunity of Hurricane Ian to burglarize the unoccupied homes of Florida residents who sought safety from the storm.

Lee County officials are warning people that not all post-Hurricane Ian looters may get off as lucky as the scumcrumpet scavengers they caught and arrested this week, some of whom are here in the US illegally.

Señor Omar Mejia Ortiz, 33, and pretty little señorita Valerie Celeste Salcedo Mena, 26, were arrested, along with 20-year-olds Brandon Mauricio Araya and Steve Eduardo Sanchez Araya. All four were arrested for burglary of an unoccupied structure during a state of emergency, according to online jail records.

A press conference was held by Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno on Tuesday where he spoke about the spike in looting and illlegal scavenging after the hurricane moved out.

"As far as looting — we have law and order in Lee County. We have law and order in our great state of Florida, and we always will," Marceno said. "Right now, we have four cases of looting, and I'm proud to say they're behind bars where they belong. Our residents are going to be safe."

The sheriff also said that three of the four looters are illegally in the US. "All three of these subjects are here illegally in this country. Robert Mena, Brandon Araya , Stephen Araya — all arrested for stealing bottles on Fort Myers Beach during the hurricane. They were located and arrested. And I'm going to tell I'm not tolerating it again." [I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.]

There is anything more lowlife than looting after a devastating hurricane other than killing babies in the  womb.

Marceno warned the public that not all looters will get away with their lives--some will probably be killed by their lootees. 

"I'm not playing. We're not playing. We have law and order and great residents will be safe and secure. We've had arrests on these incidents," Marceno continued. "You might walk in. You'll be carried out."

Ortiz was also charged with petit larceny, while the other three suspects were charged with grand larceny.

It is unclear exactly when and where the burglaries took place and what was in those bottles, but potential looters better beware.

"Experts" blasted for telling public to not use term "looting" to describe California looters

Alleged experts Monday cautioned against using the term "looting" to describe the recent large-scale looting and destruction of property from California retail stores because it might be associated with people of color and that would make whoever the looters are, feel upset.

Perhaps we should refer to looters as "retail products acquisition engineers." We wouldn't want to offend them.

Some reacted to the claims made by these self-described "experts" of verbiage online and not so complimentary.

According to the local ABC affiliate for the Bay Area, the California Penal Code didn't allow for the use of the term "looting" to describe the thefts involving large groups of people because, it claimed, the definition didn't match the act as defined by law. 

And we should care how the law terms bum-rushing a store and stealing items off the shelves because why?

The network also cited two individuals it referred to as "experts," who described the term as being reminiscent of Black people and people of color being associated with the act of looting. They gave no actual examples of when this happened or who used this term in such a manner, but if ABC says they're experts, who are we peons to disagree?

"According to the California Penal Code, what we saw was not looting," it wrote. 

What we saw was worse than simple looting, which is basically taking booty which was not yours during a "state of emergency," "local emergency," or "evacuation order." 

What happened in California was more like a coordinated attack on local businesses with the intent of obtaining merchandise that would likely be resold at a later date, while terrorizing store employees and customers, destroying store property and taking advantage of California's laws which decriminalizes theft below $950.

Alleged expert Lorenzo Boyd, a guy I go to when I need to know what not to call looting, is a professor of Criminal Justice and Community Policing at the University of New Haven. As an obvious progressive, Boyd described the term "looting" through a racist lens, just as everything else the Left disagrees with is likewise described.

"Looting is a term that we typically use when people of color or urban dwellers are doing something. We tend not to use that term for other people when they do the exact same thing," he told ABC.

And just because the looters used the Kyle Rittenhouse 'not guilty' verdict to excuse their looting, is no reason to use the term "experts" say.

ABC admitted they didn't know the races or identities of the looters but just in case they aren't white it's best we don't call them looters so we can avoid any problems.

Some critics pointe out that it wouldn't make any difference if we called them looters or whatever else we use to describe their criminal behavior.

One critic compared the pushback on using the term "looting" to people claiming critical race theory was taught only in law schools and not to school-age children. "There was no looting. As a matter of fact, 'looting' is only a term used in law school," he wrote.

"It’s looting. Just like there were riots in Kenosha, not just protests," former Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker wrote, referring to the unrest in Kenosha following the non-fatal police shooting of Jacob Blake.

"'Experts.' Remember-- they believe if they can control the language they control reality. Time to 'smash and grab' this garbage," Fox News' contributor Tammy Bruce wrote, while another simply wrote, "Umm ok."

So call it looting. Call it stealing. Call it retail products acquisition engineering.

It is what it is.

Target cuts store hours in San Francisco to quell shoplifting: may cut number of products for same reason

Target is just one of many stores in San Francisco that is being hit hard with shoplifting as the city is inundated with crime. In order to force shoplifters to "get on with it" more quickly and not waste the best part of their day hanging out, they will now be forced to shoplift in a smaller window of time, that is, up to 6 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. This should eliminate those shoplifters whose mom's don't allow them to go out when it's dark.

You might remember last month when a young shoplifter took his bike into a Walmart's store, began loading up a sturdy garbage bag with merchandise, and peddled out of the store while the guard watched him shoplift and then made a perfunctory grab at the garbage bag as the kid rode out. It seemed to happen during the daytime, before 6 p.m., so it's unclear how Target got this brainstorm of an idea.

The situation in San Francisco is so horrible, in fact, that Target shuttered their doors of one city location just days ago, SFGate noted.

Perhaps another solution would be to drastically cut the selection and category of merchandise Target sells. If, let's say, they only sell toilet paper, shoplifters would not be able to load up on very much of the product as it is relatively bulky, and additionally, this would virtually eliminate shoplifting by Middle East and Asian miscreants.

But as a last resort, large retailers could hire real security guards who would actually be more than uniformed decoration. And when it comes to policing, it might be a good idea to actually arrest criminals and prosecute them, regardless of race or ethnicity. After all, isn't everyone supposed to be equal under the law?

Young weasel charged in connection with looting the night David Dorn was murdered

St. Louis -- A 19-year-old man has been apprehended and charged in connection with the looting of the pawn shop where 77-year-old retired St. Louis police captain David Dorn was cowardly murdered.

Kyri Morgan of St. Louis was charged with second-degree burglary, police announced Sunday. His bond was set at $10,000.

Dorn was shot to death outside of Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry on June 2 while it was being looted after a night of unrest in the city. He was working security at the time for the shop owner who was also his friend.

Several days after the murder, 24-year-old scumbag Stephan Cannon was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and three counts of armed criminal action. He was also charged for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Two other scumbags, Jimmie Robinson Jr., and Samuel Simpson, 38, were also charged in connection with the looting. 

Others possibly involved with the looting in June on the night of Dorn's death were caught on camera and are being sought as the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department as persons of interest. 

David Dorn served nearly 40 years with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and was the Chief of Police in Moline Acres for five years. Unlike most members of Black Lives Matter, Captain Dorn was Black.

And his life mattered.

Chicago: the wild, wild midwest after police-involved shooting

The was looting and gunfire in the Windy City as police clashed with rioters early Monday morning sparked by a police-involved shooting Sunday afternoon that wounded a young suspect.

According to Fox32, the shooting occurred in the city’s Englewood neighborhood. A crowd emerged that faced off against the police and eventually began chucking things at the officers. A police spokesperson told the Chicago Tribune that someone spread the false rumor that it was a child who was hit. The truth is more like it was a late teen or person in their early twenties who was the suspect.

An officer told Fox32 that an officer sustained a shoulder injury in the confrontation and one of the police cars had its windows broken. The tension continued on into the night.

It began when police responded to a report about a man with a handgun. They chased the suspect who, they said, turned and fired at the pursuing officers who then returned fire. The suspect's condition is unknown and a weapon was found at the scene.

Overnight, the situation grew worse and eventually led to a citywide riot that included the posh stores at the Magnificent Mile which were looted in honor of the victim who shot at police and got a response in kind.

Andy Ngo, the conservative journalist, took to Twitter to say “BLM-inspired rioting and looting is happening in Chicago tonight.” He wrote that police “look completely overwhelmed.”

Another journalist, CBS Chicago new anchor, Ryan Baker, tweeted: “Absolute chaos in downtown Chicago with more overnight looting and vandalism in the Loop. Appears to be coordinated effort with minimal police presence.”

Chicago had another typically violent weekend with 35 shot and three fatalities, making it more dangerous than Afghanistan on a cool day. In fact, since the start of the year until the end of July, there were 440 homicides and 2,240 people shot.

To the discomfit of Chicago's useless mayor, Lori Lightfoot, President Trump recently announced he was sending federal agents to Chicago, to help local authorities fight such crime as part of an operation that started last year. Instead of welcoming the needed help, she wrote a letter to the White House that stated,  “We need you, as President, to take a leadership role in enacting meaningful and common-sense gun legislation, which you so far have refused to do.”

Never let a perpetual shootout go to waste.

Seattle rioters continue with their anarchy, come away breadless: cop hospitalized, 2 arrests

The following is based on a true event from Sunday. The satire or snark should be obvious.

In an attempt to steal bread in order to feed their hungry family, peaceful protesters marched through the downtown area looting, damaging property, throwing rocks, bottles and an incendiary device into a police station, in a desperate attempt to find bread.

At least two hungry people were arrested before they could grab a loaf of bread from an Amazon Go building, and one police officer was injured and sent to the hospital because he refused to allow these poor people to feed their hungry families.

Police said Sunday evening the demonstrators had broken out several windows of the East Precinct, then threw a device into the lobby that ignited a small fire, which was later extinguished. There were no injuries reported, police said, and ironically, they confirmed that there was no bread inside the precinct for the hungry mob to steal.

The demonstration started between 2 and 3 p.m. near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Pine Street. A photo posted on Seattle’s DOT traffic channel showed crowds blocking an intersection, as Black Lives Matter white people questioned drivers, asking if they could spare a loaf of bread as some folks were seen spray painting the building while others frantically broke windows in search of a seedless rye or pumpernickel loaf, but not white bread, which they consider racist.

“Antifa Militants and Black Lives Matter rioters are breaking into Amazon Go Downtown Seattle,” a tweeter named Daviscourt tweeted. “This protest has turned into a riot.”

What a surprise.

Seattle police tweeted shortly before 5 p.m. that the crowd had continued to march on Pike Street from downtown and two people had been arrested outside of the West Precinct.

President Trump was not available for tweeting.

Police said demonstrators had thrown rocks, bottles, and other items at officers and at least one officer had been transported to the hospital.

Seattle cops said demonstrators had gone from Westlake Park to the Municipal Courthouse and then headed back north to the West precinct "leaving behind a trail of property destruction and a curious trail of breadcrumbs."

"These are criminal acts, not peaceful protests," police told bystanders who didn't know the difference between rioting and peaceful protests. The bystanders then began hitting each other over the head with plastic hammers.
