Agitators Turn Berkeley into a Real-Life 'Fight Club' – Minus Brad Pitt, Plus Way More Blood and Bad Ideas

Photo: Fox News digital

Oh, Berkeley. The People's Republic of California’s ground zero for everything from tie-dye to tie-ins with Hamas chic. Just when you thought the campus radicals had exhausted their supply of soy lattes and sanctimony, they decided to audition for a reboot of The Purge right outside UC Berkeley. And all because Turning Point USA dared to show up with actual speakers who aren't afraid to say words like "truth" or "Christianity" without triggering the safe space sirens.

Picture this: It's Monday afternoon, the sun's dipping low over the Bay Area haze, and a horde of keffiyeh-clad warriors, you know, the ones who think an Arafat scarf makes them experts on geopolitics, are milling about like they just escaped a bad Al Jazeera fanfic. Why? Because TPUSA's "This Is The Turning Point" tour is wrapping up with a bang, featuring the indomitable Dr. Frank Turek and the eternally snarky Rob Schneider. (Yes, that Rob Schneider. Deuce Bigalow himself, trading bedazzled thongs for intellectual takedowns. Progress!)

But hold onto your Birkenstocks, because two months after TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a Utah campus event on Sept. 10, these peace-loving protesters couldn't let a simple speaking gig slide.

At around 4:30 PST, the whole thing erupts into a full-on kerfuffle. Two dudes go at it like they're auditioning for the WWE's "Woke Division," with one guy's face looking like he lost a bet with a cheese grater. Blood everywhere. It's the kind of scene that makes you wonder if Berkeley's "free speech" policy comes with a "free stitches" clause.

Fox News Digital caught the carnage on video, because of course they did, and it's a doozy. A gaggle of agitators circles the fray like vultures at a vegan barbecue, waving signs that scream every lefty trope from "Zionism is racism" to whatever fresh nonsense they're microwaving this week. Cops were out there playing human piƱatas, slapping on shield masks and grabbing batons like it's casual Friday at the riot squad. The Berkeley PD later confirmed to Fox that at least two gladiators got zip-tied by 6 p.m. local time.

"I do not have the specific details of what the arrests were for," the police spokesperson said. "At this point, I can share that one of the parties was arrested for battery."

Shocking. A battery charge at a "mostly peaceful" protest? Next you'll tell me the keffiyehs weren't organic cotton. UC Berkeley's mouthpiece chimed in too, insisting the melee stayed off-campus, because nothing says "ivory tower integrity" like outsourcing your drama to the sidewalk. No word on injuries beyond the obvious facial faucet, but let's be real: In Berkeley, "wounded" could mean anything from a split lip to a bruised ego over not getting enough pronouns validated.

This all unfolded mere hours before Turek and Schneider took the stage, turning what should have been a mic-drop moment into a pre-show appetizer of anarchy. Dr. Turek, Kirk's longtime mentor and the guy who can defend Christianity with more logic than a Spock TED Talk, had been hyped about this stop for weeks. Chatting with Fox News Digital last week, he explained why Berkeley was his must-attend.

"If I could go to any one event with him, it would be that one," the Christian author said."I wanted to go to UC Berkeley because it is so progressive and liberal in their views, and I wanted to provide evidence that Christianity was indeed true."

That's what real courage looks like; strolling into the lion's den with facts instead of fidget spinners. (Kirk would've loved it, RIP to a legend who went out fighting the good fight.)

And the afterparty? Pure poetry in motion. As attendees filtered out, the protesters, fresh from their cardio session, swarmed every exit like Black Friday shoppers on Red Bull. Heckling, obscenities, the works. It's almost like they read the script from every Antifa playbook ever: Disrupt, destroy, then demand therapy dogs.

Look, if this is the "turning point," count me in for the sequel. Because nothing says "we're winning the culture war" like watching the other side devolve into a bloody Lord of the Flies LARP. Stay snarky, America. And maybe invest in some riot gear for Christmas. You never know when Berkeley's exporting its vibes.

If you like Brain Flushings and want to Buy Me a Coffee, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work. Obviously, there is no pressure but I certainly wouldn't stop you.

UC Berkeley Nazis call Jewish Students Nazis: fail to see the irony

Pro-Hamasshole protesters/rioters did all they could to disrupt an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldier, Ran Bar Yoshefat from speaking at an event at UC Berkeley's campus on Monday.

The racist cretins screamed anti-Semitic bile like "dirty Jews" and "pigs" at Jewish attendees. Their lack of originality was only surpassed by their lack of seeing the irony when they also used the word "Nazi" in their name calling. The event had been originally scheduled at Wheeler Hall but had to be changed last-minute due to Jihadi and useful idiot concerns security would face.

However, UC Berkeley junior Elijah Feldman, a Students Supporting Israel board member, told the media that Hamasshole supporters found out about the new location of the event that was scheduled to start and "Within five minutes or so of them getting there, they started to get really aggressive, pushing toward the doors."

Officials said approximately 200 racist morons disrupted the on-campus talk. They blocked the doors, prohibiting many who wanted to attend the event from entering or exiting the building.

Sharon Knafelman, UC Berkeley sophomore and Students Supporting Israel member, shared that only about one-third of projected attendees made it inside the venue due to the "barrage" of scumcrumpets.

Knafelman said that she asked UCPD officers to escort her and several friends into the event hall, but the semi-brave officers refused and left them to enter on their own through the group of anti-Semites. Two of her friends were physically assaulted as the UCPD stood around with their thumbs in their nether regions.

"I enter the building, and I am full of anxiety. All of us feel panicked because we see the mob outside, and we understand there’s a threat to our safety." Ms. Knafelman said in present tense.

Pro-Palestinian protesters shouted several Nazi-ish terms at students who attended the event, including, "dirty Jews," "Nazi" and "pigs."

"This was being used in Europe against Jews centuries ago. We were called dirty pigs, even swine, and it's being used at us again," Knafelman correctly recounted.

Shortly after Yoshefat took the stage, protesters broke several windows and were able to force their way through the doors past UCPD officers and rushed the event room, Fox News reported. It was like Kristallnacht all over again [google it].

The First Amendment broke down in tears.

UCPD evacuated the speaker and students who were attending through a back exit for their protection. Knafelman says she was evacuated with the other students.

"I think that experience in itself – that I had to be hidden, almost, as a Jewish student in a university that’s public, that I pay for, that I’m a part of, makes me feel like I’m not safe here and I’m not welcome here."

Despite the horrific events faced by the Jewish students, Feldman and Knafelman pledge that Students Supporting Israel will continue hosting events on the UC Berkeley campus and publicly supporting Israel.

Students Supporting Israel told Fox News they have not received any support or apology from UC Berkeley or the cowardly UCPD for failing to ensure they could host their event safely.

Berkeley Chancellor Carol Christ [her Father would not be very proud] and Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Benjamin Hermalin apologized for the disruption. In a statement published Tuesday, they decried the violent protest as "an attack on the fundamental values of the university." But never took any steps to ensure the event would not be hampered with.

"We write to you today with great sadness, concern, and dismay in the wake of an incident on our campus last night, an incident that violated not only our rules, but also some of our most fundamental values," blah de blah blah, the officials said.

"We want to express our deep remorse and sympathy to those students and members of the public who were in the building, fearing for their safety," they stated.

In the statement, the officials pledged to enforce the school's rules against violent protests and ensure violators face consequences for endangering others.

Words are cheap.

Free speech by both sides does not mean that one side has the right to stop the free speech of the other side.

UC Berkeley Sued after denying conservative student group official status

UC Berkeley used to be a icon in the world of academia and free speech. Now it's a cesspool filled with snowflakes and other stuff one finds in cesspools . . . like far left professors who think Karl Marx's body odor was unfairly judged.

A conservative nonprofit group filed a lawsuit earlier this week against the University of California, Berkeley, after the so-called school denied a pro-liberty student group official status.

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) sued UC Berkeley after the school kept Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) which has over 900 college chapter throughout the country, from obtaining a registered student organization status, according to a press release first obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The lawsuit alleges that UC Berkeley denied verifying YAL because they said the group was "too similar" to Cal Libertarians.

YAL President Cliff Malone had something to say on the matter:
"It is absurd to think that other Berkeley groups are lighting the campus on fire and throwing rocks through windows, but YAL's efforts to peaceable promote the message of liberty are being shunned by university administrators. This incident is exactly why Young Americans for Liberty launched the national Fight for Free Speech campaign. All students, regardless of ideology, should be guaranteed their First Amendment right to Free Speech."
Sadly, what is truly absurd is to believe the Berkeley administration would think rationally on this matter. They are devout leftists and leftists don't want free speech unless it's in lockstep with leftist ideology. The reason being is that leftist ideology is easily defeated by the conservative track records of history.

The fact is, without conservative governance, socialism and communism could not exist. The building has to be borne first before it can be torn down.

If YAL cannot be registered as a student organization, they cannot invite speakers (Ben Shapiro springs to mind), reserve rooms, or use funds for their tuition to cover organizational costs.

Let's hope that ADF wins the court battle because a lot depends on it. The left needs to be stopped from their shameless disrespect for the Constitution.

We cannot allow them to tear down the building.

Berkeley Cops release mugshots of 5 protesters of Shapiro visit

Dumb, dumber, dumber still, super dumb
and basic idiot
It took over $600,000 to provide security for conservative speaker Ben Shapiro and it was money well-spent because Antifa wasn't able to shut Shapiro's speech down, and the First Amendment was honored.

Nine people were arrested during the protest and Berkeley police released the mugshots of five of them, four of whom were arrested for carrying a "banned weapon."

They are not a pretty sight and most of them look like there was several generations of first cousin marriage within the family.

Sarah Roark, 44, of San Francisco, Michael Paul Sullivan, 29, of Hayward, and Eddy Robinson, 44, of Oakland were all arrested for carrying a banned weapon but it wasn't clear what type of weapon they were carrying.

Hannah Benjamin, 20, of Fremont, was arrested for carrying a banned weapon but also was accused of battery on a police officer who, I hope, got in a few good shots if she attacked first.

Kerem Celik, 18, of Saratoga, was arrested for "disturbing the peace."

Roark is a diehard Hillary Clinton cheerleader. There's a photo going around on Twitter of her with Hillary (aka the sore loser blame the other guy) Clinton and she's wearing a pin from Clinton's incompetent 2016 presidential campaign. [Rumor has it that Hillary now wears a button with an arrow pointing to her side that reads: "It's their fault."] It isn't clear what event the picture was taken, but the more important thing is that Hillary never got to be, and never will be "THE FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!!" as she was fond of shouting.

It is unknown if those arrested are still in custody but the smart money says they're already out on the street causing more trouble.

UC Berkeley spokesman Dan Mogulof called the Shapiro speech "a successful event" and said the university is interested in hosting future events with non-leftists.

Shapiro retweeted the mugshots of those arrested calling them: "A lineup of life's winners."

This was the first event in 20 years in which police were allowed to use pepper spray against violent protesters.

In the coming weeks, the school is planning to have Steve Bannon, author Milo Yiannopoulos and conservative speaker Ann Coulter to speak on campus.

That's because the UC Berkeley is being sued by some people for having their constitutional rights violated by the leftist school.

'Dilbert' creator cancels UC Berkeley donations over anit-Milo riots

Scott Adams, the creator of the cartoon series "Dilbert," was horrified by the violent protests against Milo Yiannopoulos at UC Berkeley and has stopped donating to the ultra-liberal mental institution that tries to pass itself off as an institute of higher learning. The only higher it claims is from chronically indulging in giggle smoke.

Adams, who shamelessly endorsed Donald Trump and caught some heat for it, said the angry anti-Milo backlash to the speech he was stopped from giving convinced him that he wouldn't be "safe or welcome" on campus.

In a recent blog post he wrote that he will no longer give "my time and money" to Berkeley, where he studied for an MBA. He had been a "big supporter" in the past.

While not actually naming Yiannopoulos, he described him and apparently enjoyed taking his side against the masked "anti-fascist" protesters who opposed his free speech rights. He wrote:
"I've decided to side with the Jewish gay immigrant who has an African-American boyfriend, not the hypnotized zombie-boys in black masks who were clubbing people who hold different points of view. I feel that's reasonable, but I know many will disagree, and possibly try to club me to death if I walk on campus."
Only three anarchists were arrested during the violent displays where windows were smashed and Milo fans were pepper-sprayed.

That is the disgusting fact.

President Trump spoke out about the Berkeley situation as well. He talked of the prospect of a federal defunding of the school since they don't apparently support the First Amendment when it doesn't apply to them.

Janet Napolitano is shaking in her Jackboots.

"Clock boy' case explodes in court--has to pay attorney fees

Dallas -- Daily Wire Editor-In-Chief Ben Shapiro will not have to pay the Muslim Jihad Lawfare family off for exercising his First Amendment rights. It turns out that Texas isn't Saudi Arabia after all.

A Texas court ruled that Shapiro did nothing wrong in questioning the motives of Ahmed "Clock Boy" Mohamed, a Muslim student who built a "clock" to look like a bomb, and was detained by police over school concerns that the bomb was real.

A Dallas County District Court judge dismissed the defamation lawsuit filed against Shapiro by Mohamed's father, Mohamed Mohamed (no relationship to Sirhan Sirhan) over Shapiro's comments about the September 2015 incident at MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas.

The little jihadist Ahmed Mohamed, a ninth-grader at the time, came to class with what he called an "invention," which was a disassembled clock that was sloppily reassembled in a pencil box.

The little tyke showed the contraption to his science teacher and was asked to put it away.

Later in the day, the clock began beeping in his English class and his teacher, worried that it looked like a bomb, took action. Mohamed was detained and questioned by police and briefly charged with possessing a hoax bomb, though the charge was later dismissed.

Mohamed Mohamed, Ahmed Mohamed's father, a politically active jihadist with ties to terrorist-sponsoring foreign regimes, took his kid on a world tour of Islamic jihad where he was photographed with wanted war criminal and Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.

Upon noting the father-son ties to Islamic jihad, the two scum-buns were invited to the White House by Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama, you may recall, tweeted support for Ahmed as police investigated the situation, before the outcome was known, supporting "Clock Boy" before supporting the school staff.

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an arm of the un-indicted co-conspirator Muslim Brotherhood in the Holy Land Foundation case, accused officials of Islamophobia, a term used to shut people up who see something and say something. In this case, it was Ben Shapiro, the Center for Security Policy, Glenn Beck and Fox News along with other news media investigated and discussed Mohamed's story and believed it to be an example of "civilization jihad" promoted by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Shapiro told Megyn Kelly formerly of Fox News, the incident "was a setup and  . . . President Obama fell for it because it confirms a couple of his pre-stated biases against police and against people who he perceives to be Islamophobic."

"Within the first forty-eight hours it was clear that this was a bit of a setup and it was clear that the story didn't hold together," Shapiro said.

He went on to explain that Mohamed "took the guts out of an old clock, you can see people do it on YouTube. He literally took the guts out of an old clock, the wiring, and he put in inside of a pencil box and proceeded to bring that into the school and this is not the first family incident that has been like this. His sister had an incident in 2009 that was somewhat similar."

The little jihadist soon moved to Qatar after receiving a full scholarship to attend a school in Doha where he majored in Taqiyya. But Mohamed and his father Mohamed Mohamed made a special trip back to Texas where they hoped to scam some infidels out of a lot of money as they filed a $15 million federal lawsuit against the city of Irving, the school district, and MacArthur High School Principal Daniel Cummings.

Mohamed Mohamed also filed a defamation lawsuit against Ben Shapiro and other conservative commentators for having opinions that exposed their scam.

On Thursday, Shapiro tweeted the court order on his motion to dismiss the case, which was "well taken and should be and is in all respects granted."

But the real beauty of it all is that "Shapiro is entitled to recover his attorneys' fees, court costs, and other expenses in bringing his Motion to Dismiss and defending against Plaintiff's claims," the order read.

Kurt Schlichter, Shapiro's attorney told Townhall: "Ben Shapiro has always been a steadfast advocate of the First Amendment and there was never any doubt he was going to stand up for his right to speak freely. I'm very grateful that the state of Texas takes the First Amendment seriously, I only wish my own state of California would do the same, especially after the fiasco at Berkeley yesterday."

Schlichter was referring to the campus riots that occurred at UC Berkeley, when Milo Yiannopoulos was to speak there and his First Amendment rights were denied by a crowd of anarchists who destroyed property and ironically called him a fascist.

Thank you, Texas.

Sarah Silverman calls for military overthrow of POTUS

Sarah "Cocky from the Tooley" Silverman has called for a military coup against the President of the United States. It doesn't sound like a joke because even when Silverman tells jokes, it doesn't sound like a joke. Most of her "humor" is based on her preoccupation with bowel movements.

Silverman, a political science genius, tweeted to her nearly 10 million fans of toilet humor, using all capital letters, to "wake up & join the resistance."

She then added: "Once the military is w us fascists get overthrown. Mad king & his handlers go bye bye."

The anarchistic tweeting came amid violent riots that broke out at UC Berkeley when Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos had his First Amendment rights snatched from him and he had to leave in order to avoid violence directed at him.

Judd Apatow, a director known for "Knocked Up" and "Trainwreck" said in a tweet he soon after deleted: "This is just the beginning. When will all the fools who are still supporting Trump realize what is at stake?"

Filmmaker Lexi Alexander, who wouldn't actually get physically involved with what she wants others to do on her behalf tweeted in defense of the riot telling her minions to "punch Nazis," "riot when your college invites a Nazi," and "set it all on fire."

Sounds a lot like big Michael Moore.

Interestingly enough, all of these people live insulated, protected lives and never get their own hands dirty. Why should they when they can get naive socialists do be their loyal servants?

WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE❤❤❤❤https://twitter.com/jeffmueller/status/826920269491085317

They still can't wrap their small minds around the idea that Trump, like him or not, is the President for the next 4 years. Calling for his overthrow is not merely unpatriotic, it's anarchistic.

Patriotism isn't believing your country can never be wrong--it's knowing it can and still loving it. If you think it's never wrong, then it isn't patriotism, it's blindness.

I don't know whether what these people are saying is considered to be grounds for legal action by the federal government--we still have freedom of speech, unless you're Milo Yiannopoulos or Ben Shapiro, or any conservative with a point of view that the left cannot debate against without countering it with violence or name-calling.

I don't agree with just about everything Yiannopoulos spouts, but he has the right to spout it.

The intolerance of our core beliefs by the left is palpable and simultaneously ironic and hypocritical.

BREAKING: Milo Yianoppoulos UC Berkeley speech canceled due to violent protest

Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos was set to deliver a speech at UC Berkeley but at around 7 p.m. local time, but by 6 p.m. Yiannopoulos's First Amendment rights were violated by violent protesters who caused the event to be cancelled.

The school was allowing him to speak if the College Republican organization agreed to pay for extra security, which they did (on short notice by the school), but never asked the protesters, who announced that they were going to be there, to do the same.

Fires were started by masked anarchists, who wore black and had backpacks when they emerged from the crowd.

Windows were smashed, smoking things were thrown and fireworks were aimed at the building in which he was to speak. Prior to the event, metal barricades were put in place to keep protesters from rushing the building.

The anarchists wore masks and were dressed in black and had backpacks.

Yiannopoulos had to be extracted from the area for his own safety.

The protest smelled of Soros or someone paying for out-of-town people who are not part of UC Berkeley to be there to cause trouble.

"This is what tolerance looks like at UC Berkeley," Mike Wright said, a College Republican member. As he spoke to the media, someone threw red paint on him.

Some protesters argued that hate speech isn't free speech. But hate speech is a mind crime based on how the person accusing someone of hate speech wants to define it. The First Amendment wasn't written to protect speech we all love to hear--it was written for speech we hate or don't want to hear.

But UC Berkeley, once the bastion of free speech, is now the intolerant campus who is stifling it.

It's sad that we now live in a country where freedom of speech is fast eroding when the left doesn't want to hear the message. It reminds one of a religion that kills people whose message they too don't want to hear.
