UPDATE: Man armed with shotgun and gas can killed at Mar-a-Lago IDENTIFIED

A man in his early 20s unlawfully entered Mar-a-Lago armed with a shotgun and a gas can at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, U.S. Secret Service announced.

UPDATE: The armed intruder has been identified after being reported missing by his family.

Austin Tucker Martin, who was reported missing by his family on Saturday, was identified as the man armed with a shotgun and a gas can attempting to breach Mar-a-Lago, law enforcement sources told the New York Post.

The FBI, Secret Service, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, are investigating the incident and potential motive, which seems somewhat obvious.

The individual was observed near the north gate carrying a shotgun and a fuel can and was ordered to put the items down by police. In response, he lowered the gas can to the ground and then aimed the shotgun at the officers who immediately shot him dead.

No Secret Service or PBSO personnel were injured, and no Secret Service protectees, including President Trump, were present at the location during the time of the incident, officials said.

The FBI, Secret Service and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office are investigating, including the man’s background, actions and potential motive, as well as the use of force.

This third incident of the same type, appears to be the results of a media-fed public hating the administration and attempting to assassinate the President of the United States. The first incident was in Butler, PA in which President Trump was shot in the ear. The second was at Trump's golf course where the person was confronted and eventually taken into custody and is now serving life in prison.

This should be reminder of the difficulty that exists protecting the President, particularly at Mar-a-Lago.

Why wasn't JD Vance at Mar-a-Lago during the US raid in Venezuela

AP Photo/Julia Demaree Nikhinson

People couldn't help but notice one conspicuous absence in the photos of President Trump monitoring the successful raid on Nicolás Maduro's compound from Mar-a-Lago

Everyone expected Vice President JD Vance to appear alongside the president in this modern echo of the Obama Situation Room shot during the bin Laden operation. Even Joe Biden sat next to Barack Obama for that historic moment, yet Vance remained nowhere in sight, prompting questions about his whereabouts during this high-stakes event.

The explanation turns out to be straightforward and prudent. Security concerns drove the decision to keep Vance separated from Trump during the operation. Sources describe it as a designated survivor protocol of sorts, aimed at avoiding risks if both leaders gathered in one location outside the White House under tense conditions. Vance stayed fully engaged nonetheless.

A spokesperson laid it out clearly: "Vice President Vance was deeply integrated in the process and planning of the Venezuela strikes and Maduro's arrest.

"He joined several late night meetings via secure video conference with National Security principals leading up to the operation."

The Vice President briefly met with President Trump at the Trump golf club in West Palm Beach during the day Friday to discuss the strikes. The Vice President was not at Mar-a-Lago on Friday night, as the National Security team was concerned a late-night motorcade movement by the Vice President while the operation was getting underway may tip off the Venezuelans. The Vice President joined by secure video conference throughout the night to monitor the operation. He returned to Cincinnati after the operation concluded.

Due to increased security concerns, the Administration has aimed to limit the frequency and duration of the Vice President and President being co-located away from the White House.”

This approach makes perfect sense for an administration prioritizing operational security and continuity of government. Critics might try to spin Vance's absence as some kind of snub, but the facts point to basic caution during a daring overseas mission. In the end, the raid succeeded flawlessly, Maduro now faces justice in New York, and the Trump team demonstrated once again that it plays to win without unnecessary risks.

FBI Doubted Probable Cause for Mar-a-Lago Raid but Pushed Ahead Because Biden's DOJ Said So, Emails Show

Happy Tuesday, dear friends. Or whatever day it is when you're reading this. Time flies when the Democrats are busy turning the Justice Department into their personal vendetta machine.

Look, we've known for years that the Democrats and their deep state pals treat Donald Trump like he's the villain in their fever-dream fan fiction. But these newly declassified emails reviewed by Fox News Digital really lay it out: The FBI didn't think they had squat for probable cause to storm Mar-a-Lago in 2022, but they went full jackboot anyway because the Biden DOJ was leaning on them harder than a drunk uncle at a wedding.

We're talking internal FBI chatter in the months before the August raid on Trump's Palm Beach pad. Agents were scratching their heads over the lack of evidence. One assistant special agent in charge emailed another: "Very little has been developed related to who might be culpable for mishandling the documents." He noted info suggesting more boxes might be at Mar-a-Lago, but it was "single source, has not been corroborated, and may be dated." Even so, "DOJ CES opines, however, that the SW’s meet the probable cause standard."

Translation: The FBI guys were like, "This is thin," but the DOJ hacks said, "Nah, it's fine; go get him."

The same official floated the idea of a "reasonable conversation" with Trump's attorney first, you know, the adult way to handle things, instead of kicking in doors like it's a no-knock on a drug cartel. He even pointed out that even if the docs were declassified (or Trump thought they were), they should still be secured properly. But no, the pressure from above was too much.

Weeks later, another agent emails: "We haven't generated any new facts, but keep being given draft after draft after draft." And then: "Absent a witness coming forward with recent information about classified on site, at what point is it fair to table this? It is time consuming for the team, and not productive if there are no new facts supporting PC (probable cause)?"

Straight up admitting they had nothing new, but the DOJ kept pushing drafts like a bad editor on deadline.

One email flat-out says the Washington Field Office "did not believe (and has articulated to DOJ CES), that we have established probable cause for the search warrant for classified records at Mar a Lago." DOJ insisted they did and wanted a broad scope covering the whole property. The FBI even thought a raid would be "counterproductive" and suggested less intrusive ways to get any docs back. But nope—full steam ahead.

Then comes the Aug. 4, 2022, email about executing the warrant. An agent stresses handling it "in a professional, low key manner, and to be mindful of the optics." He quotes a DOJ honcho, George Toscas, saying he "frankly doesn’t give a damn about the optics." Because of course the Biden crew didn't care about looking like banana republic goons.

The agent pushes back: If the FBI makes the initial contact politely, focusing on safety and professionalism, they might get cooperation. But DOJ? Nah, they'd botch it because they've already poisoned the well with Trump's lawyers.

And we all know how that turned out—the dramatic raid, complete with authorization for deadly force (same as they used for Biden's own doc search, because fairness), agents in unmarked shirts packing ammo and bolt cutters, grabbing privileged materials, and leaving Trump's team out in the cold.

This was never about national security. It was about harassing Trump, tying him up in lawfare, and trying to kneecap his political comeback. Jack Smith's witch hunt charged him with 40 felonies over this nonsense—willful retention, obstruction, all that jazz. Trump pleaded not guilty, and poof, charges dropped after he won in 2024.

Because everyone with a brain knew it was garbage from the jump.

These emails just confirm what we've suspected: The FBI had doubts, but Biden's politicized DOJ said "optics be damned" and forced it through. Classic Democrat playbook—weaponize the institutions against your enemies.

The good news? Trump won anyway, and now the reckoning is coming. Can't wait to see how Merrick Garland sleeps at night knowing his legacy is "that guy who raided a former president's house over nothing."

If you like Brain Flushings and want to Buy Me a Coffee, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work. Obviously, there is no pressure but I certainly wouldn't stop you. Imagine, you could be the first on your block to do that and your friends will thank you . . . for some reason.

Dem. would be assassin wants judge to recuse herself

The Democrat accused of trying to assassinate former President Donald J. Trump at his Florida golf course in September, is trying to get the judge recuse herself from his case because she is a Trump-appointed judge and he would rather like a Soros-funded leftist handle his case.

The scumwafer, Ryan Routh [pronounced "Ruth"] on Thursday requested U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon recuse herself from the case because she dismissed Trump's classified documents case and Routh is worried that he might get a fair trial.

"Mr. Trump is currently the Republican candidate for President in next month's election. On the campaign trail, he has repeatedly praised Your Honor for her rulings in this case," the motion states. "As the alleged victim here, he has significant stake in the outcome of this case too. Were he to become President in the future, he would have authority to nominate Your Honor to a federal judgeship on a higher court were a vacancy to arise."

Yeah, so what?

The failed [alleged] assassin argues the "unprecedented facts and circumstances" of the judge's appointment and her handling of special counsel Jack Smith's case against Trump could "create an appearance of partiality [for the law] in the mind of the public."

Smith charged Trujmp with 40 counts of unlawfully retaining classified White House documents after leaving office and obstructing the government's attempts to reclaim them. The same facts did not apply to Joe Biden who wasn't even president at the time he retained classified White House documents in his garage.

However, Cannon dismissed the documents case in July after finding that Smith had been improperly appointed as special counsel. Smith is appealing her decision which based on law, he should lose.

Routh's attorneys cite federal recusal law in their motion and state the "remarkable coincidence" of Cannon being assigned to both cases might inspire conspiracy theories about the court, as opposed to the "remarkable coincidence" that Kamala Harris became vice president and is now running for president, without a single vote by anyone based on the coincidence of her gender [which she cannot identify] and her race [which is either Asian or Jamaican].

"Given these very low odds, the public may suspect that Mr. Trump’s cases have somehow been deliberately steered to this Court. That perception would irreparably damage the integrity of this Court as an institution, not to mention the judicial process," the attorneys wrote, hoping to get a judge who will not view the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life as a big deal.

"To be clear, there is no evidence that this case (or any other) was assigned in a non-random manner. But conspiracy theories have been based on less. Recusal would thus have the added benefit of preventing the public from harboring such a dangerous perception."

Exactly--it was not assigned in a non-random manner, so let's move on with it.

The filing indicates that prosecutors are taking the defense motion under advisement.

Routh was alleged to have stalked former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago golf course in West Palm Beach, FL for several weeks and may have planned to head for Mexico upon killing Trump, federal prosecutors said.

He apparently waited around 12 hours outside the Trump International Golf Club with a rifle on September 15, while Trump was golfing. A Secret Service agent luckily spotted Routh pointing a rifle through a perimeter fence and fired at him. He ran like a dog and was arrested that same day.

Routh pleaded not guilty to five counts, including attempted assassination of a presidential candidate [not to mention a former president] amd assault on a federal officer. He already had a previous federal charge with possessing a gun with a filed out serial number, and with illegal possession of a weapon as a felon.

He was ordered in September to remain in custody.

ABC accused of "election interference" over edit during Trump speech

ABC News has been accused of election interference because the network blurred out information about former President Trump's campaign on his podium as he delivered a speech on Tuesday evening at his Mar-a-Lago Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

In case you were beamed up by Scotty to the planet Ross 128 for the last several months, you might not realize that Trump has been charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to "hush money" payments to a porn actress and another woman prior to the 2016 election. He pleaded not guilty to each trumped up count and claimed he never had any extramarital affairs, if you can believe that, but who cares?

The former President spoke for 27 minutes and tore into Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, a guy who lets murderers walk but people making bookkeeping errors  get indicted, especially if they're made by Trump or his bookkeeper.

Anyway, ABC News was among a number of networks that aired the speech, but the woke Disney-owned network blurred out a text number that could have been used by people interested in donating to his 2024 presidential campaign

That text number is 88022. ABC blurred it out as they covered the speech, so you couldn't see: "TEXT TRUMP to 88022."

One podium doesn't look like the other

So ABC was quickly hit with accusations of election interference because they manipulated the news, as is their wont. But some people, like Charlie Kirk, saw what they had done and responded accordingly on Twitter:
ABC News blurs out “TEXT TRUMP to 88022” in its coverage of Trump’s post-arraignment speech as reports suggest the Trump campaign has raised over $10 million since his indictment. pic.twitter.com/nCrE3XzSS5

— Charlie Kirk (@charliekirk11) April 5, 2023

It wasn't as if ABC blurs out campaign information as a rule. When brain-addled Joe Biden was a candidate in 2020, his podium was shown during to have that type of contact/donation information at campaign events.
This is election interference by ABC pic.twitter.com/mjO61jFrV5

— End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) April 5, 2023
Is this Election interference from your mothership, @abc15?

— Kari Lake War Room (@KariLakeWarRoom) April 5, 2023

Looks like election interference to me.

— David Giglio (@DavidGiglioCA) April 5, 2023
So, while Biden has his donation information clearly depicted by ABC, Donald Trump's "TEXT TRUMP to 88022" was not shown and viewers of the network never got to see "TEXT TRUMP to 88022."

ABC News has not commented on the decision to prevent its viewers from seeing Trump’s campaign contact information and deciding for themselves whether or not they were interested in donating to him.

Meanwhile, Trump hauled in millions of dollars in donations prior to his Mar-a-Lago speech in spite of viewers of the Democrat network failing to show "TEXT TRUMP to 88022" to their viewers.

DOJ's Garland admits FBI seized "attorney-client privileged information" in Mar-a-Lago raid

The Attorney General of the United States, Merrick Garland, head of the Department of Justice has just made that department an oxymoron. When it comes to justice, one needs to look elsewhere. The AG finally admitted in a court filing Monday that FBI agents seized documents “potentially contain[ing] attorney-client privileged information” in the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

Rather than having the walnuts to admit they grabbed attorney-client privileged information, Garland gave a half admission until the next shoe is forced to drop.

The admission comes as U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon suggested that she plans to appoint a special master to oversee the FBI’s review of materials they grabbed on August 8th when they ran an unprecedented raid on a former US president. Trump’s legal team requested the special master last week, claiming that the former president needed a safeguard against the DOJ obtaining privileged information. This makes perfect sense to anyone who has been following the behavior of the FBI. (Efrem Zimbalist Jr. must be rolling in his grave. Google him if you don't get the reference.)

Efrem Zimbalist Jr.

The DOJ said in the filing:
Although the government will provide the Court more detail in its forthcoming supplemental filing, the government notes that, before the Court issued its Preliminary Order, and in accordance with the judicially authorized search warrant’s provisions, the [FBI] Privilege Review Team … identified a limited set of materials that potentially contain attorney-client privileged information, completed its review of those materials, and is in the process of following the procedures set forth in paragraph 84 of the search warrant affidavit to address potential privilege disputes, if any.
On Saturday, Judge Cannon issued an order giving the Justice Department until Tuesday to produce a more detailed list of items seized at Mar-a-Lago, as well as the proceedings of the Department of Justice’s “filter team” that is going through all of Trump’s documents. The DOJ also said on Monday it will comply with Cannon’s request and file the documents under seal by Tuesday.

Trump filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida after the raid, in which he stated that his Fourth Amendment rights had been violated--you know, the unlawful search and seizure thingy--in which the seizure of some documents, including two of his passports, "helped" Merrick Garland & Cronies realize they screwed up and better fess up now rather than try blowing smoke where the sun don't shine and obfuscating what they did.

In the lawsuit, Trump’s lawyers said the Mar-a-Lago raid was likely motivated more by politics than the rule of law. “[T]he Government has failed to legitimize its historic decision,” the suit claims while adding that Merrick Garland took the “unheard-of step” of holding a press conference over the raid and agreeing to release part of the search warrant application.

Imagine if Garland ever got to land on the Supreme Court.

On Thursday, Federal Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart ordered that a redacted version of the affidavit that led to the execution of a search warrant on Mar-A-Lago be released (last) Friday morning. When the heavily redacted affidavit was released as ordered, the FBI was absolutely crushed on social media, which included charges of “grave travesty” and “no reason for [the] raid.”

But the redactions were so copious that it led to a shortage of black ink across the country.

Meanwhile, Garland et al., have their walnuts in a vice and it's slowly closing in on them. This should be very interesting in spite of the incredible levels of corruption in government that suggests these scumwafers may get away with their disgusting behavior.

DOJ Releases Heavily Redacted Affidavit for FBI Raid on Trump's Mar-A-Lago: FBI is "out of control"

The DOJ [aka Democrat's Office of Justice] released a heavily redacted copy of an affidavit that was the catalyst for an FBI search warrant executed on former U.S. President Donald Trump, in early August. This was the first time in U.S. history that a former President of the United States was served with a subpoena for any reason and in this case, for documents over which he has authority.

U.S. Magistrate Judge and Democrat Bruce Reinhart ordered the DOJ to submit a redacted version of the affidavit to the court earlier this week for release to the public. The copy was submitted Thursday and Reinhart reviewed it and ordered its release to the public by noon Friday.

Meanwhile, more whistleblowers are coming forward and revealing an "out of control" FBI that includes fake affidavits and fake cases, not to even mention what they did with the Hunter Biden laptop case.

It seems like the Bureau's management is "out of control" in offices across the country as more whistleblowers are coming forth and complaining about a culture of "corruption, cover-ups and retaliation" against agents who are exposing it in offices in Salt Lake City, Miami, Buffalo and Newark.

There are allegations that supervisors force agents to sign false affidavits, for example. Imagine how that is going to look when the Republicans take over the House [G_d willing] in terms of the Mar-A-Lago raid.

Agents have allegedly been forced to make up terrorism cases to inflate their performance statistics as well. But even worse than that, there are even allegations of sexual harassment and engagement in other sexual acts with a subordinate. One female agent even went with a sexual harassment complaint to the Director, Chris Wray, and she alleges that her complaint was ignored. The agency acts with a "mob-like mentality," she said.

“The FBI is completely out of control and its culture and structure needs to change. Not only is the political bias completely out of control and disgustingly obvious, the FBI knows they will not be held accountable for their illegal behavior and misconduct,” she said in a letter to Rep. Louie Gohmert, a Texas Republican on the Judiciary Committee.

Another whistleblower in the Buffalo office said FBI leadership is focused on case volume and some supervisors inflate numbers for terrorism, for example, to enhance their performance reviews.

So we know the FBI raid on Mar-A-Lago was politically motivated by the Biden administration. Biden lied that he didn't know about the raid until afterward, but he gave approval for it. Maybe he forgot; that's very possible in his mental state.

We also know the FBI lies on affidavits and their activities and that Judge Bruce Reinhart does not like Trump.

Finally, we know the affidavit only tells one side of the story and it is not Trump's side.

BREAKING: 11 Sets of Documents Removed from Mar-A-Lago by Feds: some marked "Top Secret"

Photo: Joe Raedle / Getty Images

Federal law enforcement agents removed eleven sets of documents from former President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago residence in Florida over the week.

The Wall Street Journal reported that some of the materials removed were “marked as top secret and meant to be only available in special government facilities.”  This report was also confirmed by Fox News and said the warrant gave permission to search “the ‘45 Office,’ all storage rooms, and all other rooms or areas within the premises used or available to be used by POTUS and his staff and in which boxes or documents could be stored, including all structures or buildings on the estate.”

Four sets of top secret documents were recovered along with three sets of secret documents and three sets of confidential documents, according to the report. Around 20 boxes of items were removed from the property and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland approved the search warrant and continues to suck both at his job and as an individual.

“Just now the Justice Department has filed a motion in the southern district of Florida to unseal a search warrant and property receipt relating to a court-approved search that the F.B.I. conducted earlier this week” at Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago, Garland said. “The department filed the motion to make public the warrant and receipt in light of the former president’s public confirmation of the search, the surrounding circumstances, and the substantial public interest in this matter.”

“I personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant in this matter,” Garland added. “Second, the department does not take such a decision lightly. Where possible, it is standard practice to seek less intrusive means as an alternative to a search and to narrowly scope any search that is undertaken.”

The Washington Post claimed in a report on Thursday that officials were allegedly searching for highly classified documents on “nuclear weapons” when they searched the property. The feds evidently worried that the former President would use the plans to build a nuclear weapon to become "Ruler for Life" of the United States.

The report said that those familiar with the matter did not offer any specific details on whether the alleged documents on nuclear weapons were about weapons that were possessed by the United States or a foreign nation, and they did not disclose what was recovered during the search. This is mainly due to the fact that there has not been enough time to come up with believable "specific details."

Former President Trump said his Mar-A-Lago home is "under siege" by FBI--UPDATE

Former President Donald J. Trump said on Monday that his Mar-A-Lago home in Florida is "under siege" by a "large group" of FBI agents, the law enforcement arm of the Democratic Party.

[H/T Fox News Digital]

"Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don't want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections."

Fortunately, the former President was not taken out his home in handcuffs, as is the typical way the Federal Bureau of Investigation tends to remove Republicans, especially elderly Republicans, from their homes in the middle of the night with CNN miraculously on site to film it.  Trump was in New York City when the raid went down.

The United States of America is quickly becoming a banana republic under this administration and people need to do something about it.

"What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee?" he said. "Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States."

According to an FBI source FBI agents from Washington, D.C. who are members of the bureau's Evidence Response Team conducted the raid and notified the Miami Field Office just prior to their actions.

The Justice Department has been investigating the discovery of records containing classified information that were taken to Mar-A-Lago after Trump's presidency concluded. That matter was referred to the Justice Department by the National Archives and Records Administration, which said it found classified material in 15 boxes at Mar-A-Lago.

Federal law prohibits the removal of classified documents to unauthorized locations, though it is possible that Trump could try to argue that, as president, he was the ultimate declassification authority.

It was not known whether the FBI search was connected to that probe.

An armed Iranian national arrested near Mar-a-Lago

Mar-a-Lago (screen grab)
An Iranian national armed with several knives, axe and a machete was arrested by police Friday morning in Palm Beach, just a few miles from President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. He also had $22,000 cash on him and definitely was not wearing a "MAGA" hat.

Masoud Yareioeill Zoleh [his friends call him "Z Vowels"] was detained after Palm Beach Police responded to a call at around 9:30 a.m. They found the man on the Flagler Memorial Bridge roughly four miles north of Mar-a-Lago, Trump's frequently visited weekend retreat.

Details of the call the cops received were not disclosed, according to The Palm Beach Post, but they told WFOR-TV that Zoleh was "suspicious" but did not elaborate.

Besides the $22,000 in U.S. currency Zoleh was carrying, investigators discovered he had a car parked at Palm Beach International Airport. The Daily Mail reported that bomb squads were called in to search the vehicle.
The Palm Beach Police Department is currently leading the investigation, but federal authorities are involved and the FBI confirmed it has been notified.

Zoleh was charged with carrying concealed weapons, and the Washington Examiner reported that he has been given a notice to appear in court.

The Iranian's arrest comes just a week after President Trump went ahead and had one of the world's worst terrorists, Cassem Soleimani destroyed by an airstrike in Iraq near the Baghdad Airport.

Since the deletion of Soleimani, one eulogist at his funeral suggested Iranians band together and put up an $80 million bounty for the assassination of our President. To date, unfunny comedian George Lopez has offered to kill President Trump for half that amount.

Former Canadian PM hopes Hurricane Dorian destroys Mar-a-Lago

Riding her broomstick across Canada's frozen tundra, the only cis woman to ever serve as Prime Minister of Canada, Kim Campbell, responded to a tweet from a scientist warning about the destructive power of Hurricane Dorian as it threatens the East Coast, particularly Florida and its inhabitants. "I'm rooting for a direct hit on Mar-a-Lago!" the witch tweeted.

The storm is expected to gain strength, possibly as a Category 4 with winds reaching around 130 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. It is also expected to move slowly at around 5 mph and drop an epic amount of rain in the state, and Campbell is apparently delighted--you can tell by her photo above.

One normal person pointed out to the evil woman, "What the heck is wrong with you. There are real people who live and work there." The b**ch responded with: "get a grip." Then tweeted: "As there are in Puerto Rico-sorry you don't get the snark-but Trump's indifference to suffering is intolerable! It'd also help if he tackled climate change which is making hurricanes more destructive! Instead, he will remove limits on methane! Get a grip!" she said while expelling her own supply of methane.

After the resignation of Brian Mulroney in 1993, Campbell served for about [Canadians say "aboot"] five months as prime minister. She currently serves as the chairperson for Canada's Supreme Court Advisory Board and continues to suck at this job as she had done so in the past.

Since going on an exclamatory tweet-fest, Donald Trump style, the acrimonious Campbell has deleted her tweet but she hasn't deleted her hatred, which she accuses Trump of harboring.

Is Trump now colluding with China? Schiff seems to think so

The following is satire.

Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach -- Yujing Zhang, a 32-year-old Chinese national tried to elude security and sneak into President Trump's "Southern White House" in Florida over the weekend. She was found to have in her possession a laptop loaded with "malware" whose purpose might be to tap into the security installed at the mansion.

Or perhaps, as Adam Schiff might claim, "Zhang is working for the Chinese government hand-in-glove with Trump. We need to investigate further, but I have it on good sources that there's evidence Trump knows her and I call on a special council to probe the matter."

In any case, the federal government is opening an investigation into what they believe may be an incident of international espionage, and top Congressmen were briefed and are looking into the matter.

Here's what went down:

A woman, most likely a Chinese national, holding a Chinese passport, tried to elude the alert security personnel and sneak onto Mar-a-Lago grounds over the weekend. She was carrying a laptop police say was filled with "malware," possibly designed to tap into secure technology installed at the president's Florida home.

"[A]ccording to a criminal complaint filed in the Southern District of Florida, 32-year-old Zhang made it through checkpoints and all the way to the main reception area of the Mar-a-Lago club before she was stopped from going any further when a receptionist determined she wasn't on an approved guest list. Secret Service agents did halt her at multiple points to question her purpose for being there," CBS reports.

Trump was staying at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend, playing golf and watching Fox News, but he reportedly missed out on the action, unless you believe Adam Schiff's claim.

The President left to play golf around 9:30 am and returned to the main house after 3:00 pm. The Chinese woman was caught trying to sneak into the club just after noon Florida time, but Schiff believes Trump may have slipped her a key, although there is no evidence of that claim.

Federal agents, the Miami-Herald reports, are now looking into whether Zhang, who was "previously unknown to law enforcement" might be part of a larger Chinese counter-intelligence operation designed to infiltrate the President's Florida residence, perhaps on the theory that Mar-a-Lago has less security than the President's home and office in Washington, D.C. If true, Zhang and her colleagues need to go back to spy school.

"Maybe Zhang was invited there by the president who planned to give her access to their computer system with the intention of helping the Chinese government and overthrowing himself," Schiff may have been thinking as he planned to visit the studios of the Comedy News Network.

When confronted, Zheng initially claimed to be a member of Mar-a-Lago, then told security personnel she was just there to use the pool. Finally, when pressed, she claimed to be an attendee of a United Nations-organized "friendship event" at the mansion -- a nonexistent event -- at the behest of a man named "Charles" whom she'd contacted on a Chinese texting app. When that didn't work, she insisted the only reason she was at the mansion was to use the ladies' room.

Zheng was eventually arrested and authorities discovered the aforementioned laptop, as well as four cell phones, an external hard drive, and a USB device loaded with malware of its own.

The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force is also looking into whether the incident involving Zheng is connected to Li “Cindy” Yang, the south Florida massage parlor owner at the center of a massive human trafficking and prostitution bust (the same bust that netted Patriots' owner Robert Kraft). Yang reportedly organized and held events for Chinese businessmen at Mar-a-Lago, according, also, to the Miami Herald, to try to get close to Trump.

Yang's efforts apparently did not bear much fruit, but attracted the attention of authorities concerned that Mar-a-Lago may not be properly outfitted to host the President.

The Secret Service say the south Florida mansion is treated like any of the President's "temporary residences," and security is handled accordingly. Not so great, but accordingly.
