The Atlantic retracts claim that fetal heartbeats are 'imaginary'

The Atlantic one of Washington liberal rag-mags of record published a fake article attacking ultrasound technology. It then published several updates to fix their fake facts without acknowledging the extent of the corrections.

The fake article was "How the Ultrasound Pushed the Idea That a Fetus is a Person" on Tuesday. In a 2,500 word article, it argued that ultrasound technology "has been used to create an imaginary 'heartbeat' and sped-up videos that falsely depict a response to stimulus."

The article, by Moira Weigel, a Yale PhD candidate in comparative literature, included no less than three major errors that the publication corrected. It originally claimed that fetal heartbeats depicted in ultrasound are "imaginary" because there is no heart in the body during the early stages of development.

Weigel should stick with comparative literature.

"It is dubious to call this movement a 'heartbeat'; there is no heart to speak of [at six weeks]," she wrote.

Actual medical experts and medical textbooks disagree with the comparative literature PhD candidate.

According to the Mayo Clinic's website, "just four weeks after conception, the neural tube along your baby's back is closing and your baby's heart is pumping blood."

The Atlantic deleted that sentence from the fake story, dropping all mention of heartbeats captured by ultrasound were imaginary. The editors revised the headline to read: "How Ultrasounds Became Political: The technology has been used to create sped-up videos that falsely depict a response to stimulus."

Weigel also got John Kasich's governorship wrong--he is not the governor of Indiana (that was Mike Pence) but Ohio.

Sloppy research.

It was Kasich's veto of fetal heartbeat legislation to which the article referred.

The really annoying thing was that The Atlantic didn't publish a notice of correction along with its edits. A spokes liar for the rag mag said the "editors were still reviewing" the article four hours after publication.

Sloppy editors.

When a correction was posted on the site, it didn't reflect the other changes made on the fake article.

"This article originally stated that there is 'no heart to speak of' in a six-week-old fetus. By that point in a pregnancy, a heart has already begun to form. We regret the error," it says.

This is what you get when liberal literature majors try writing a convincing liberal article using science as the medium--it just goes beyond their ken.

Sore losers look to undermine the electoral system

Sore losers like Jill Stein and other anti-Trumpers are pushing as hard as their sad losing bodies can push to invalidate his election with the Electoral College. Ironically, many of them didn't get their sore loser bodies to the polls to actually vote, but that doesn't stop them from trying to undermine the fabric of our electoral system.

Those who actually chose the President-elect, will meet on December 19th to make the results of the 2016 election official. As it stands, Trump won 306 electoral votes (needing 270 to win) and Hillary begrudgingly conceded the election, spoiling her fireworks party plans for Election Day night.

Hillary urged a smooth transition of power, as is the tradition, but a group of electors from Colorado and Washington known as the "Hamilton Electors" is trying to persuade other electors to go against their constituents in their districts, and take the election away from Trump and hand it to Clinton.

That should start a nice, smooth transition of power--after the smoke clears.

On Monday, Chris Suprun, from Texas, was convinced to act unilaterally in spite of those in the majority in his district who voted for Trump.

Suprun said "I am here to elect a president, not a king," but he is acting as like an autocrat and apparently doesn't understand the difference between a democracy and a republic form of government.

In fact, he lied when at first he said he'd support Trump.

In order for anti-Trump electors to have their way, they would need 37 electors to switch their vote or abstain. This would then throw the vote on the House and they would select the president.

If this happens, and Trump is no longer our next POTUS, celebrities who have moved out of the United States will likely return . . . all none of them.

Most states bind their electors to the state's popular vote, although Texas doesn't, so this should not be a problem for Trump.

According to Politico, Democratic electors are backing Ohio Governor John "Karate Chop" Kasich who ran an annoying campaign for president.

Suprun said he "would have to strongly consider someone like Kasich who has both executive and legislative experience bringing people together."

Kasich tweeted that he isn't a candidate and urged electors not to vote for him. He'll have no problem from me.

I think it's about time for the nation to get over it--Trump won and he is who the republic voted for.

Breaking: Kasich still has voters who threw in with him in indiana

In yet another moral victory for Ohio Gov. John Kasich, over a thousand or so voters threw in with him by throwing away their vote in the 2016 presidential campaign.

"Nobody in America has the kind of courage it takes to vote for a regular guy like me," Kasich said in his speech voice. "I'm very proud of those folks and now I can assure the American people that this race is not over by a long shot. I'm going to go all the way and we're going to win this nomination.

"I'm the only person on the GOP side who can beat Hillary Clinton if she isn't indicted by the Department of Justice. The polls are very clear. Donald Trump is not a viable candidate."

Mr. Trump is suggesting that Kasich be tested for the presence of mind altering drugs. "You gotta test Karate Kid Kasich," Trump said. "The guy's a loser. A complete loser. I don't know, we just don't seem to be able to get rid of him. What--he's got like 1 out of 47 states? He needs to take Cruz with him on the bus home. This contest is over. I win, the 16 governors and senators looooooose!"

MSNBC projected with the Trump win in Indiana, the country has lost. But hey, it's MSNBC.

There are only 9 more states to go in this primary. The 'anyone but Trump' people are at wits end because it looks like "he. might. go. all. the. way!"

Ted Cruz is far behind Trump. If the race were a marathon, Trump would be at the 25 mile marker while Cruz would be at the 18 mile marker. Kasich would have just crossed the starting line running as fast as his stoop-shoulder style could take him, making victory speeches all the way.

The nanosecond the Indiana race was called, Trump tweeted that "Lyin' Ted" should "stop wasting time & money."

The two candidates appear to really dislike each other. Trump, who gets his news "from the shows" and apparently The National Enquirer tabloid, rehashed the claim on Fox News that Rafael Cruz, Ted's father, appeared in a 1963 photo with Lee Harvey Oswald, JFK's assassin.

Cruz thought of firing back with the claim that Trump's father was seen in a compromising photo of "Miss New York 1959" but held his tongue.

Instead, Cruz said his dad was his "hero" and said Trump was an "amoral" liar and basic scumcrumpet, the first time my Urban Dictionary word was put to public use by someone other than me. he also described Trump as a "braggadocious arrogant buffoon," to which the Donald responded, "Now he's making up words."

THIS JUST IN: Cruz has dropped out of the race. Smart move, Ted. Now Kasich should do the same.

Can Trump act "presidential'?

Donald Trump claims that he's going to take off his un-presidential clown suit and put on his big boy presidential pants. So I suspect everything we've thus far seen of the Donald is just his act, his schtick, so to speak. He says that he's going to be sooooooo presidential that we'll be bored to death, "folks."

It sounds like once he's done entertaining us, he plans to bore us to death.  But I suspect he's kidding--he can't possibly change from who he is, and he even remarked that he likely won't be changing any time soon.

Grumpy Trump unleashed a fusillade of personal attacks against Ted Cruz and John Kasich responding to "the shows" that say they are "colluding" against him by joining forces to keep him from winning the GOP nomination.

Grumpy Trump went after Kasich's eating habits calling them "disgusting." He didn't just say it once, he went into detail about how all that Kasich seems to do is eat.

I flipped on the boob tube today and watched a bit of Trump's speech in Rhode Island. I honestly thought it was a video from several weeks ago because he was almost verbatim with what he had said about the GOP nominating process. But the speech was live, and Grumpy Trump was already "sooooooo boring."

In addition to insulting Kasich's eating style, he is also back to insulting Cruz with referring to him as "Lyin' Ted."

For a guy who wrote "The Art of the Deal," you would think he'd be aware of how to deal with the delegates he needs to get him over the hump, but it looks like Ted Cruz has him beat in that area, and all Trump does is complain and make juvenile tweets.

In Rhode island he called Cruz "a basket case" under pressure, and also made fun of both his rivals by saying they respond to questions by "stuttering and stammering."

In his attack on Kasich, Trump labeled him as "1 fo 41" and made fun of his eating style . "He has the news conference all the time when he's eating. I have never seen a human being eat in such a disgusting fashion. I'm always telling my young son, Barron, always with my kids, all of them, I'd say 'children, small, little bites.' This guy takes a pancake and he's shoving it in his mouth; it's disgusting."

"Do you want that for your president? I don't think so," Trump said.

Kasich's campaign tweeted a response to that attack with an unflattering photo of Trump eating a steak. It was disgusting folks.

But never shy with tweeting hyperbole, Grumpy Trump said of Cruz and Kasich that they are "mathematically dead and totally desperate." He was referring to their working together to stop him getting the 1237 delegates he needs to clinch the nomination.

Trump has 'collusion' confused with 'politics.'

"Lincoln" advises Obama

It's like the shortest kid in the schoolyard talking trash about the captain of the football team to the other kids. That's the way Butterball Kim Jong Un deals with countries he fears most--bad-mouth them and pretend you're tougher.

Now North Korea is using "Honest Abe" Lincoln as a prop to make Butterball Kim sound like he has "a pair".

Kim had his state media construct a fake letter from our 16th president attacking Obama's "deception" over  North Korea's pursuit of nukes. This is Butterball's latest response to Washington after the North's nuclear test and long-range ballistic missile launch this week.

The letter is written in Korean on the DPRK Today website, a lesser known propaganda tool of the North Korean regime.

The letter's title is: "Advice from Lincoln to Obama."

It starts off sounding like a blog written by a high school kid. "Hey, Obama. I know you have a lot on your mind these days . . . I've decided to give you a little advice after seeing you lost in thought before my portrait during a recent Easter Prayer Breakfast."

The letter goes on to mock Obama's Nobel Peace Prize-winning push to build a nuclear weapon-free world as it questions him as to why the USA hasn't taken the first steps to do just that. It wants countries like North Korea to scrap its programs, yet the USA has failed to take the lead in that department.

'Lincoln' says in the letter, "If the United States, a country with the world's largest nuclear weapons stockpile, only pays lip service, like a parrot, and doesn't do anything actively, it will be a mockery to the entire world."

The letter also fails to portray Lincoln in a positive light. "Hey, Obama," it continues, "it's the 21st Century. The tactic by past American presidents, including me, who deceived the people, is outdated. That doesn't work now. The world doesn't trust an America that doesn't take responsibility for what it says."

This type of harsh rhetoric is old hat with Butterball Kim. He has also gone after South Korea, referring to their president as a "prostitute" many times before. The regime has also referred to President Obama as a "monkey" and John Kerry as a wolf with a "hideous lantern jaw."

One can only wonder how Butterball Kim's regime will refer to either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton should either go on to win the presidency. But surely they will have to refer to John Kasich as "Karate Kasich."

Maybe he'll call Hillary "Felony Hillary," and Trump "Deprecatin' Donald."

Will Hill Stay or Will Hill Go

The question is on the minds of Democrats from all over the country: will Hillary Clinton have to go to prison for violating the Espionage Act, or will she be able to pardon herself as POTUS?

Okay, so that isn't really the question Democrats ask. They want to know why conservatives think that Hillary isn't special and deserves to be president. After all, look at all those accomplishment-miles she traveled as Secretary of State--it didn't matter that nothing much was actually gained by it.

Federal prosecutors are expecting to attempt interviewing the former First Lady of the Sexual Predator in order to hear her lie about the classified emails on her private server. They also want to know how her staff were involved with those emails.

In other words, prosecutors want to know if Clinton's aides were privy to her password (which was "HumaDoobieDoo") in order to access the emails and act as her private secretary by answering them.

The efforts to get her pear-shaped pantsuit into the interview by the Feds may take a few weeks to become reality as Hillary is an expert at ducking process servers, nor is she adverse to "making the problem disappear," if you know what I mean.

In any case, this may be the final part of the investigation but it will likely go on and on right through the primary season pitting an aged socialist who worked in the pornography business against a felon for the Democrats.

The GOP will be pitting a billionaire middle-aged egotist against a devout Constitutionalist who nobody in the Senate likes, and a stoop-shouldered RINO who makes people nervous with his karate chops when he speaks about his accomplishments and refuses to mention his liberal views on the Second Amendment, Common Core and national security.

The Fox News Clown Car GOP Debacle

The Fox News GOP Debacle was clear evidence that the party is up to their eyeballs in poo and Donald Trump continues to make waves.

It isn't every day that a presidential candidate tries to ensure the American public that he has a large penis, but that's what Trump did. The remark made the Twittersphere light up like a coffee break at an AA meeting  (and I should know) as the candidates continued the attacks.

It was Marco and Ted against the Donald, and Kasich doing his karate chop thing.

All-in-all, it was rather embarrassing to be a Republican last night.

Trump is saying what angry people want to hear, and then he changes what he says for the benefit of a different set of angry people who want to hear something else.

In spite of rivals agreeing to support the nominee, no matter who he is, it seems like a stretch to trust Trump if somehow he doesn't win the nomination. I imagine he will say that he was treated unfairly.

Whenever Trump is challenged on things he has said, or facts that don't add up to what he claims, he attacks the person making the claim, but never defends the claim itself. That's called bullying.

Whenever someone on social media makes a negative statement about Trump's record or something he has said in the past, the person gets attacked personally by the Trumpbots.

When he first started out campaigning, I liked Donald Trump. He seemed honest and strong. He appealed to Joe Citizen because he was nothing like the typical politician who you know is lying with every breath he or she takes.

But Trump has become a vulgar clown and brought Marco Rubio along for the ride in the clown car.

Cruz has become the adult in the room while Kasich, the former Governor of Ohio,  keeps reminding you that he was the former governor of Ohio.

The GOP debates have now become the clown car, and if the left wins the presidency, we are never going back again.

Trump has no plans because he has nothing he actually stands for except beyond himself. He has used the anger of the American people in a brilliant way, speaking mostly in monosyllabic words that sound like the right thing to say at the moment.

His words like substance, and his words are always subject to change with what he thinks people want to hear, not what they need to hear.
