Brett Favre mistakes Colin Kaepernick for an actual hero

National Football League former player Brett Favre, had what appeared to be a serious discussion about another former player, Colin Kaepernick, of significantly less talent in throwing footballs to other players on the same team.

Favre mistakenly compared Kaepernick to an actual military hero who also played for the NFL on the Arizona Cardinal team, Pat Tillman. After the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, Tillman left his lucrative football career and joined the United States Army. Kaepernick, on the other hand, did not.

The seriously flawed Kaepernick was not a very good quarterback and to maintain public attention, and possibly do something to keep from being cut, he traditionally kneeled along the sidelines before games while the "Star Spangled Banner" was played to honor the country for which Tillman died. He also wore socks that depicted pigs in police uniforms.

It seems as if Brett Favre is either getting like Joe Biden with his thinking by not recalling Kaepernick's anti-American displays, or he doesn't understand the definition of "hero" -- a person who is idealized or admired for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

Sucking as he did as a quarterback in his final season, it would have taken more courage not to put on a public display in the hopes of remaining relevant and possibly keep throwing "ducks" that were sometimes intercepted by the opposing teams, and sometimes just died a quiet, lonely thud.

Pat Tillman had real courage. While serving as an Army Ranger in Afghanistan, he was killed by friendly fire on April 22, 2004.

But perhaps, now that Brett Favre has retired from football, a game in which he truly excelled and loved, he too needs to join the woke crowd of leftists who believe they are more virtuous than the people whose statues they tear down or businesses they burn while calling for cops [those 'pigs' on Kaepernick's socks] to be defunded, aka disbanded.

“You know, I can only think of, right off the top of my head, Pat Tillman, as another guy who did something, you know, similar, and we regard him as a hero,” Favre said. “So, I assume that hero status will be stamped with Kaepernick as well.”

Yeah, Pat Tillman, you know, did something. It reminds us when Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) described the 911 terror attacks as "some people did something" Both Favre and Omar are kind of, you know, stupid.

I used to admire Favre, now I just shake my head.

Chicago mayor defends herself with the "R" word

When you cannot criticize someone of color with whom you disagree, because to do so would make you "racist," then you are putting people of color in a special category and thus committing what Condoleezza Rice calls the "soft bigotry of low expectations." Ironically, that would make you the actual racist.

In a knee-jerk reaction, Chicago Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot called a "Scooby-Doo" parody that criticized her 'racist' without having read it.

The Chicago Teachers Union posted a "Scooby-Doo" parody Wednesday which criticized Lightfoot for refusing to defund the police. The "not-only-light-in-the-foot" mayor suggested the cartoon was "clearly racist." Not possibly racist, but clearly racist. Of course, she provided zero evidence to back up her disgusting claim, a claim aimed at shutting up and shutting down people who disagree with her. But more importantly, she DID NOT EVEN READ THE TWEET!

On Saturday, the artist of the cartoon responded, criticizing Lightfoot for being ignorant of the cartoon’s true intentions.

According to Fox News, Lightfoot  censured the image and the CTU in a news conference on Thursday.

“If that kind of tweet, which is clearly racist, had been put forward by a right-wing group, we would rightly be denouncing them, and I think our scorn should be no less because it was put out by the CTU,” she said.

“It’s certainly disappointing when a group that professes to be educators, people who are in our classrooms teaching our young people, would engage in these kinds of really deeply offensive and disappointing tactics.”

Electricstripe, the artist of the parody, asked how the leftist meme, calling for defunding the police, could also be considered racist.

“My only question to those people is, how can you have an illustration that promotes the defunding of police, in favor of the Black Lives Matter movement, and also imagery of a Black person being lynched in the same picture? It’s contradictory and simply doesn’t make sense,” Electricstripe told TooFab.

“I’ve been out here protesting alongside my Black brothers and sisters everyday that I can. Why would I throw that effort away with a racist drawing? There are people out here who really hate our teachers and seriously went out of their way to make something what it’s not.”

“When the illustration was described to our mayor, (which I had no idea she was visually impaired to see it for herself) they were described as a group of ‘unhappy white people, around a tied up black woman in rope,'” he said.

“You can already imagine what kind of image pops up into your head when you hear such description. They decided to only describe what was most convenient for them.”

The left eating its own--it has to make you smile.

Seattle mayor finally 'gets her head out'--plans to dismantle CHOP due to the 'violent distraction'

It evidently took a double shooting that left one young black man dead and another wounded, along with other incidents of violence, for Seattle's Democrat Mayor Jenny Durkan to remove her head from the recesses of her nether regions. She is finally realizing that the area formerly known as "CHAZ" [Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone--which is about as autonomous as a week-old infant] and now known as "CHOP" [Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone] is not a good look to get her reelected. She is supposedly going to shut the area down before more anti-Trump voters are killed.

“Faced with growing pressure to crack down on an ‘occupied’ protest zone following two weekend shootings, Seattle’s mayor said Monday that officials will move to wind down the blocks-long span of city streets taken over two weeks ago that President Donald Trump asserted is run by ‘anarchists,'” Q13 FOX Seattle reported.

The leftist mayor spoke at a news conference and said that she views the violence as a distraction away from the peaceful protesters who don't believe that black people have racial equality with white people and that cops routinely beat the crap out of black people but wouldn't beat the crap out of white people, because, um, because.

The actual stats prove otherwise.

"She said the city is working with the community to bring the ‘Capitol Hill Occupied Protest’ zone to an end,” Q13 FOX Seattle reports.

But in early June, the low-functioning mayor told the Communist News Network's  Chris "Fredo" Cuomo that the zone could remain up all summer and called it a "summer of love."

President Donald Trump, never the one to let a good tweeting opportunity go to waste, responded:

Seattle Mayor says, about the anarchists takeover of her city, ‘it is a Summer of Love’. These Liberal Dems don’t have a clue. The terrorists burn and pillage our cities, and they think it is just wonderful, even the death. Must end this Seattle takeover now!

NYC shootings shoot up dramatically after NYPD plainclothes unit cut

De Blasio's signature idiot stare

It seems that most leftists think people are stupid, including criminals. Somehow Mayor  comrade Bill de Blasio along with NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea thought it was a good idea to stop plainclothes policing and magically, crime would decrease. Somehow they supposedly believed that criminals wouldn't glom onto the notion that now would be a good time to do their criminal mischief.

Wrong, comrade idiot.

So far since Monday there have been 28 incidents and 38 victims officially reported. Last year at this time there were 12 shootings for the entire week, and there have been 97 shootings for the month compared to 89 last year at this same time.

A law enforcement official told the New York Post "This is what the  politicians [all Democrats] wanted — no bail, nobody in Rikers [prison], cops not arresting anyone. All those things equal people walking around on the street with guns, shooting each other.”

This recent increase in New York City's shooting spree came right after the NYPD said that they were stopping the use of plainclothes anti-crime unit cops, and would reassign the roughly 600 of them to other positions.

The public heard this, including the criminals still out in the public, and it gave them a license to go back to work. In some cases, it gave them a license to kill.

“When you look at the number of anti-crime officers that operate within New York City, and you look at a disproportionate, quite frankly, percentage of complaints and shootings — and they are doing exactly what was asked of them,” NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said. “It will be felt immediately throughout the five district attorney’s offices, it will be felt immediately in the communities that we protect.”

Shea noted that the incredibly stupid decision came from him, and that he thought “it’s time to move forward and change how we police in this city,” he said, sounding like an Obama slogan quote that makes as much sense as eating to protest obesity.

Comrade de Blasio, being as clueless as a BLM protester toppling a statue of Ulysses S. Grant, described Shea's announcement as being “very powerful” during a press conference the following day.

“It’s permanent,” the Communist mayor said. “It’s a decision – look, Commissioner Shea and I have talked for a long time, literally for six and a half years about all the changes needed in this department and we’ve been steadily implementing them, and what we find is that these reforms work, they help us fight crime in a better way, and they bring community and police closer together.”

Yes, when criminals know that the only cops around are in uniform, they will not commit crimes in those areas. They will safely go where the only folks in regular street clothing are not law enforcement officers and enjoy their cop-free criminal activity.

“So, this is a permanent change,” de Blasio continued. “The personnel will be using new and different ways to fight crime more effectively and in a way that creates a better relationship with the community, and that’s the way forward for this city and for the NYPD.”

How any NYPD cop remains on the police force is beyond me. Reform can be both good or bad. But hope and change without thinking through the possible consequences, especially dangerous consequences, is too hopey and very dopey.

BLM's Patrisse Cullors admits 'goal is to remove Trump' and group is Marxist

Black Lives Matter (BLM) founder Patrisse Cullors admitted this weekend that one purpose of her racist and radical group's "goals" is to remove President Trump--not by democratic election, but by getting him to "resign" immediately. This is obviously due to the group's inability to delay gratification and their inordinate need to get what they want on the other side of the broken store window.

A 2015 video by Cullors recently floated to the top of the bowl that clearly described BLM's ideological foundation and stated that she and her cohorts in the 'movement' are "trained Marxists."

In order to be a trained Marxist you must have the ability to block out everything you may have learned about economics and morality. You must be able to convince yourself that what belongs to others through their efforts or even inheritance, is somehow yours as well and you deserve your fair share of it. The best part is that you get to determine what your fair share ought to be.

Cullors spoke with former journalist Jake Tapper, host of "The Lead" on the Communist News Network. She told Tapper, “Well, I’m hands down – Trump not only needs to not be in office in November but he should resign now,” she said.  “Trump needs to be out of office. He is not fit for office. And so what we are going to push for is a move to get Trump out.”

“While we’re also going to continue to push and pressure vice president Joe Biden around his policies and relationship to policing and criminalization, that’s going to be important,” the BLM founder/Marxist said. “But our goal is to get Trump out.”

Tapper didn't press her about why she thought Trump was unfit for office, highlighting the idea that Tapper is unfit to host a supposed "political talk" show, or why CNN is allowed to call itself a news outlet when it's clearly an opinion dumpster.

In the previously mentioned 2015 resurfaced interview, Cullors was asked about a “lack of ideological direction in Black Lives Matter.”

She responded: “We actually do have an ideological frame, myself and Alicia, in particular, are trained organizers.

“We are trained Marxists,” she added. “We are super versed on, sort of, ideological theories.”

Super duper versed.

In the “What We Believe” section of the official BLM site, the anarchists call for the “national defunding of police” and for the “disruption” of the nuclear family. They also call for an "end to the systemic racism that allows this culture of corruption to go unchecked and our lives to be taken,” but they are unable to give one example of where systemic racism still exists in this country.

“We call for a national defunding of police. We demand investment in our communities and the resources to ensure Black people not only survive but thrive. ..."

They want equal outcome, not equal opportunity, regardless of effort and ability, and that's immoral.

Back in 2017, Cullors told MSNBC’s Katy Tur that so-called “hate speech” is not protected under the U.S Constitution. “Hate speech, which is what we’re seeing coming out of white nationalists groups, is not protected under the First Amendment rights,” she said, obviously not understanding or knowing what the First Amendment says. In fact, the way white people are demonized as racist, whether we admit it or not, sounds racist to me, and racism sounds like hate speech.

And hate speech is allowed under the First Amendment. The way you deal with hate speech is with more speech, not with some panel of intolerant Marxists defining hate speech whenever it suits their agenda. (See the video in the tweet below):

I refuse to accept guilt for the racism perpetuated in the past that I did not perpetuate, and will not apologize. I refuse to accept that anyone has the right to destroy American history, by destroying and desecrating statues of leaders from our past, both good and bad. And I definitely refuse to take a knee in protest against the flag representing the nation that I love.

'Eskimo Pies' and others bow to the PC nazis

First they came for Uncle Ben, but I wasn't an Uncle Ben convert so I did nothing. Then they came for Aunt Jemima, but my aunt's name is Rose, so I did nothing. Then they came for Eskimo Pies, but I prefer Good Humor, so I did nothing. Then they came for me, and I was hungry and there was nothing left to eat.

"Eskimo Pies" are now deemed racist by the PC nazis and the company, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, is changing its name. Perhaps they will call them "Inuktitut Pies" in honor of the Inuit language that refers to this group of indigenous people thusly.

The chocolate on the outside, vanilla on the inside ice cream treat is the latest brand to cowardly cave to the virtue signaling cretins who scour the bowels of society to find something to complain about in order to feel superior. Other than that, they do nothing to improve the world.

The company put out a silly statement:

We are committed to being a part of the solution on racial equality, and recognize the term is derogatory. This move is part of a larger review to ensure our company and brands reflect our people values.

Along with the name change, the company will alter the treat’s marketing scheme, which traditionally featured a young boy dressed as an Eskimo in a snowy environment.

Last week, Quaker Oats announced it would change the name of Aunt Jemima due to a “racial stereotype.” 

The great-grandson of the most recent "Aunt Jemima," Larnell Evans Sr., is upset that his great-grandmother, Anna Short, has been removed from the boxes and bottles. She was discovered by Quaker Oats, the company that owns the brand, in 1935.

"She worked for that Quaker Oats for 20 years. She traveled all the way around the United States and Canada making pancakes as Aunt Jemima for them," Evans, the 66-year-old Marine Corps vet told Patch Chicago. "This woman served all those people, and it was after slavery. She worked as Aunt Jemima. That was her job. ... How do you think I feel as a Black man sitting here telling you about my family history they're trying to erase?"

Yes, but they feel good about themselves erasing your history because now it supports what they think about America--that we are a racist country and they are the good guys, even if they have to crack open a few heads to show it.

Evans explained that removing his great-grandmother from the products is "an injustice for me and my family. This is part of my history."

Quaker Oats also plans to remove Mrs. Butterworth and Uncle Ben from their branding.

So what might be next?

How about the Red Man Chewing Tobacco, established in 1904? They used to advertise on the side of barns and were endorsed by the baseball player, Nap Lajoie: "Lajoie chews Red Man, ask him if he don't."

And then we have Indian Motorcycles, America's first motorcycle manufacturing company? They were established in 1901 in Springfield, Mass. According to the PC nazis, they need to change their name. How about the Native American Motorcycle Manufacturing Reservation?

It's getting crazy out there and too many cowards are going along with the nonsense of the PC nazis.

Seattle PD union chief calls for real 'leadership' after fatal shooting in CHAZ/CHOP

According to reports, there were at least two incidents of shooting violence inside Seattle's police-free Capitol Hill Protest (CHOP) zone likely inspired by the lack of effective leadership, according to Seattle Police Officers Guild President Michael Solan.

Solan spoke with "Fox & Friends Weekend" host Pete Hegseth on Saturday and said that Seattle is "no longer the summer of love" like the idiot Mayor Jenny Durkan claimed. He said it was the "summer of chaos." Sadly, the facts bear him out.

The Seattle Times reports that police homicide and assault detectives are investigating an early morning shooting at the summer of chaos that killed one person with a second victim in critical condition. Both victims are black and this time the media can't blame it on the police.

The Seattle Police Department's (SPD) public information officer Sgt. Lauren Truscott told the Times that although she didn't know if detectives had collared anyone for the crime, they are reviewing public-source video and body-camera video for evidence.

The dead victim is a 19-year-old male; the other victim has been taken to the hospital life-threatening injuries. The shooting inside the zone occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, CHOP time, according to the SPD.

Not surprisingly, the mainstream media, except for ABC News,  did not think the story was worthy of reporting because it was not a cop shooting a black man during the "summer of love", but likely an anarchist.

Police said a "violent crowd" prevented them accessing to the victims, which may have saved the young man's life if they stood down. They said they were later informed that both victims had been transported to Harborview Medical Center by CHOP "medics" who are trained in first aid and rioting.

Police said the suspect or suspects ran away and are still at large.

ABC News reported that "The zone was established June 8 after Seattle police largely withdrew from the Capitol Hill district, leaving a void for protesters."

Actually, the police withdrew because they were ordered by the leftist mayor to withdraw, who evidently models herself after Comrade Bill de Blasio, the useless Democrat Mayor of New York City.

Solan said Saturday: "Early this morning, that violence was raw and real where one of our community members lost their life and police are still not allowed into that area and were prevented to providing that police service to the area to locate victors and/or render aid. [It’s] very troubling what’s going on."

SPD's closest East Precinct building lies abandoned, on orders of Mayor Durkan, following days of tense confrontations with protesters in the wake of George Floyd's  death in Minneapolis, MN.

SPD, 

Solan continued: "It can't stand in America, and this is a direct result of city leadership, elected officials failing the reasonable community of Seattle to enforce the rule of law," he told Hegseth. "And, this just isn't the area occupied in a six-block zone where police are still forbidden and still don't have their East precinct. This is now impacting our entire city."

According to Solan, the department's West precinct was also defaced with anti-police graffiti overnight.

"And again, we're left wondering what's next?" he asked. "And, now our elected officials have removed our ability to have less lethal chemical munitions that are effective for us to disburse unruly violent crowds to protect those police facilities -- let alone ourselves."

Solan doesn't see a solution or compromise on the horizon.

"Well, you're going to have to have the political backbone to finally enforce the rule of law, because if this continues to spiral down -- which we saw earlier this morning with a homicide -- I don't see what the remedy is," he admitted.

There is no doubt that defunding the police is exactly the opposite strategy to assuage the problems. But everything about leftism is always the opposite of reality.

Just consider what Antifa stands for.

Trump team tries for more debates but Biden's team afraid

President Trump's campaign team tried to get the presidential debate commission to host four debates before the November election. They would like the first debate to be held just after Labor Day, nearly stirring Joe Biden out of his coma.

According to The New York Times, currently substituting as birdcage liner, three Trump associates, including Rudy Giuliani, President Trump's personal attorney, and Brad Parscale, Trump's campaign manager, told the Times the campaign was looking for "fair debates" and wanted them sooner rather than later, and on a "bigger schedule."

“As many Americans as possible need to see the stark differences between the accomplishments and leadership of President Trump and the failed record and sleepiness of Joe Biden,” said Parscale, which is exactly why the Biden campaign will do all it can to avoid having Biden blather on in public.

The Trump campaign also reportedly requested to share influence with the Biden campaign over who would serve as the debate moderator for each event, a move the debate commission has rejected, according to The Washington Post.

Kate Bedingfield, deputy campaign manager for Biden, suggested to The Times in a statement that the Trump campaign was trying to “change the subject” to debates as a way of distracting from unfavorable polling. But the real point is, if Biden does debate with Trump and the public finally recognizes his serious cognitive decline, they might be inclined to vote for Trump and this scares the hell out of Biden's team.

Some people may have to hold their nose and pull the lever for Trump at the voting booth, but to put the nation in the hands of Biden, a guy who cannot complete a thought or a sentence without being confused or distracted, is just wrong.

The Post reported that the Trump campaign requested that no debates be held on the same evenings as NFL games, [especially any game in which Colin Kaepernick may "take a knee" in his cops are pigs socks during the playing of our national anthem].

Biden is currently leading Trump by 12 points in a Fox poll, proving that most people wouldn't know a case of senile dementia if it bit them on the butt. If Biden goes through with having one or more debates, hopefully people will realize just how much his addled brain is screwed up.
