Seattle mayor may face federal charges over "CHOP" humiliating failure

Jenny Durkan, the Democratic Mayor of Seattle, has a lot in common with her fellow Democratic mayors of major American cities.

Durkan is a Democrat and like her party's colleagues, is as useless as a toothpick for a jellyfish. She stands mirrorsf her fellow useless Democratic mayors and governors, Bill de Blasio, Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, Eric Garcetti and Lori Lightfoot, in the way they handled the "mostly peaceful" Antifa and BLM riots. 

Like them, she neutered her police force, having them stand down as these Marxist anarchists looted, destroyed property, and assaulted innocent people. But like others in her Party, when the rioting affected her directly, she called for the cops to protect her.

Now the Department of Justice is considering whether charges can be brought against her over her apparent refusal to dismantle the so-called "autonomous zone" known as "CHOP" and "CHAZ" in Seattle that was controlled for weeks by anarchists who obviously wish to destroy the USA.

Attorney General Bill Barr is having the DOJ's civil rights division investigate whether charges can be brought against her, The New York Times reported on Wednesday evening. citing two people familiar with the discussions. AG Barr is also looking into possibly charging the rioters with sedition and insurrection against the United States government The Wall Street Journal reports.

The riots began after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25. In Seattle, Marxists took over a number of city blocks in the heart of the city and set up a police-free zone. People who live in the area known as CHOP were harassed and scared, but police were told to back off and allow the illegal takeover to play out. 

And play out it did. After several deadly shootings, Durkan finally ordered police to move in and reestablish order; too late for the victims, of course. There had been three shootings with one person killed, one in critical condition and three with injuries.

Local businesses and residents threatened to move from Capitol Hill and never return. 

At the time, Durkan and her city council cretins, along with other city officials defended the protests. They claimed that a dangerous "element" not part of the peaceful protesters had moved into the zone at night and disrupted the zone's "healing" and "education" environment. The idiot mayor actually said she hoped the protests could continue on a more part-time basis.

Why not? She had no business or home in the area to worry about. 

The damage to our major cities have cost insurance companies a record $2 billion to businesses and individuals because of riot-related destruction.

Charging the Marxists with sedition will be hard to do because of First Amendment protection. Prosecutors will have to prove there was a conspiracy against U.S. government agents or officials that posed an imminent threat.

The land of CHOP taken down by "COP"

Gunned to the teeth, Seattle police infiltrated the country of CHOP and dismantled it like it never even happened. Except for the human feces and garbage the anarchists left behind because their mothers always cleaned up after them.

The Seattle Police Department officers stormed the lawless Capitol Hill Organized Protest, on Wednesday, an area they crapped up for weeks after the killing of George Floyd on May 25th in Minneapolis. To ensure such anarchy will not happen anytime soon, leftist Democrats have called for the defunding of police departments throughout the nation. That sounds like an idea that comes from people who don't want the cops around for one reason or another.

During Wednesday's dismantling of the crap zone, Seattle Police made over a dozen arrests in connection with the operation.

In a statement, Seattle Police Department said, "Due to ongoing violence and public safety issues in the East Precinct/Cal Anderson Park area, Mayor Jenny Durkan has issued an executive order to vacate the area. Seattle police will be in the area this morning enforcing the Mayor's order."

In other words, Durkans was doxxed by one of her council members and the anarchists showed up at her home, finally telling herself that enough is enough.

The statement added, "Since demonstrations at the East Precinct area began on June 8th, two teenagers have been killed and three people have been seriously wounded in late-night shootings. Police have also documented robberies, assaults, and other violent crimes."

That tends to happen, Jenny, when you tell the cops to stand down and then the rioters refuse to allow the cops and medical people enter the area to save lives.

The department also added, "Officers enforcing today's order are wearing a higher-level of protective gear. Police are utilizing this equipment because individuals associated w/the CHOP are known to be armed and dangerous/may be associated with shootings, homicides, robberies, assaults & other violent crimes."

Journalist Andy Ngo, who was injured by these morons when trying to cover a story several months ago, pointed out that the demonstrators in the zone "didn't put up much resistance this morning."

"CHAZ was retaken by police in a matter of minutes," Ngo added.

Perhaps the cowards knew the cops meant business. After all, you can go messing around with private property if you're Black Lives Matter of Antifa, but don't go messing around the mayor's home--she won't stand for it.

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said it was high time to shut down the Communist Nation of CHOP.

"The CHOP has become lawless and brutal," Best said in an incredible understatement. "Four shootings – two fatal – robberies, assaults, violence and countless property crimes have occurred in this several block area." All in a matter of days.

One can report on what Mayor Durkan's office has said about BLM and the rioters, but that would be too tedious and she is a leftist buffoon. Anyone in Seattle who would vote for another term for her, deserves to have the full wrath of Antifa and BLM rein down on their businesses and homes.

Seattle mayor finally 'gets her head out'--plans to dismantle CHOP due to the 'violent distraction'

It evidently took a double shooting that left one young black man dead and another wounded, along with other incidents of violence, for Seattle's Democrat Mayor Jenny Durkan to remove her head from the recesses of her nether regions. She is finally realizing that the area formerly known as "CHAZ" [Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone--which is about as autonomous as a week-old infant] and now known as "CHOP" [Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone] is not a good look to get her reelected. She is supposedly going to shut the area down before more anti-Trump voters are killed.

“Faced with growing pressure to crack down on an ‘occupied’ protest zone following two weekend shootings, Seattle’s mayor said Monday that officials will move to wind down the blocks-long span of city streets taken over two weeks ago that President Donald Trump asserted is run by ‘anarchists,'” Q13 FOX Seattle reported.

The leftist mayor spoke at a news conference and said that she views the violence as a distraction away from the peaceful protesters who don't believe that black people have racial equality with white people and that cops routinely beat the crap out of black people but wouldn't beat the crap out of white people, because, um, because.

The actual stats prove otherwise.

"She said the city is working with the community to bring the ‘Capitol Hill Occupied Protest’ zone to an end,” Q13 FOX Seattle reports.

But in early June, the low-functioning mayor told the Communist News Network's  Chris "Fredo" Cuomo that the zone could remain up all summer and called it a "summer of love."

President Donald Trump, never the one to let a good tweeting opportunity go to waste, responded:

Seattle Mayor says, about the anarchists takeover of her city, ‘it is a Summer of Love’. These Liberal Dems don’t have a clue. The terrorists burn and pillage our cities, and they think it is just wonderful, even the death. Must end this Seattle takeover now!

Durkan replied:

By "democracy" she is referring to the takeover of public areas, the destruction of property, the tearing down of historic statues, looting and burning of businesses, and the violence. 

So for her, anarchy is democracy.

Seattle PD union chief calls for real 'leadership' after fatal shooting in CHAZ/CHOP

According to reports, there were at least two incidents of shooting violence inside Seattle's police-free Capitol Hill Protest (CHOP) zone likely inspired by the lack of effective leadership, according to Seattle Police Officers Guild President Michael Solan.

Solan spoke with "Fox & Friends Weekend" host Pete Hegseth on Saturday and said that Seattle is "no longer the summer of love" like the idiot Mayor Jenny Durkan claimed. He said it was the "summer of chaos." Sadly, the facts bear him out.

The Seattle Times reports that police homicide and assault detectives are investigating an early morning shooting at the summer of chaos that killed one person with a second victim in critical condition. Both victims are black and this time the media can't blame it on the police.

The Seattle Police Department's (SPD) public information officer Sgt. Lauren Truscott told the Times that although she didn't know if detectives had collared anyone for the crime, they are reviewing public-source video and body-camera video for evidence.

The dead victim is a 19-year-old male; the other victim has been taken to the hospital life-threatening injuries. The shooting inside the zone occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, CHOP time, according to the SPD.

Not surprisingly, the mainstream media, except for ABC News,  did not think the story was worthy of reporting because it was not a cop shooting a black man during the "summer of love", but likely an anarchist.

Police said a "violent crowd" prevented them accessing to the victims, which may have saved the young man's life if they stood down. They said they were later informed that both victims had been transported to Harborview Medical Center by CHOP "medics" who are trained in first aid and rioting.

Police said the suspect or suspects ran away and are still at large.

ABC News reported that "The zone was established June 8 after Seattle police largely withdrew from the Capitol Hill district, leaving a void for protesters."

Actually, the police withdrew because they were ordered by the leftist mayor to withdraw, who evidently models herself after Comrade Bill de Blasio, the useless Democrat Mayor of New York City.

Solan said Saturday: "Early this morning, that violence was raw and real where one of our community members lost their life and police are still not allowed into that area and were prevented to providing that police service to the area to locate victors and/or render aid. [It’s] very troubling what’s going on."

SPD's closest East Precinct building lies abandoned, on orders of Mayor Durkan, following days of tense confrontations with protesters in the wake of George Floyd's  death in Minneapolis, MN.

SPD, 

Solan continued: "It can't stand in America, and this is a direct result of city leadership, elected officials failing the reasonable community of Seattle to enforce the rule of law," he told Hegseth. "And, this just isn't the area occupied in a six-block zone where police are still forbidden and still don't have their East precinct. This is now impacting our entire city."

According to Solan, the department's West precinct was also defaced with anti-police graffiti overnight.

"And again, we're left wondering what's next?" he asked. "And, now our elected officials have removed our ability to have less lethal chemical munitions that are effective for us to disburse unruly violent crowds to protect those police facilities -- let alone ourselves."

Solan doesn't see a solution or compromise on the horizon.

"Well, you're going to have to have the political backbone to finally enforce the rule of law, because if this continues to spiral down -- which we saw earlier this morning with a homicide -- I don't see what the remedy is," he admitted.

There is no doubt that defunding the police is exactly the opposite strategy to assuage the problems. But everything about leftism is always the opposite of reality.

Just consider what Antifa stands for.

Seattles "Kumbayah Summer of Love" Residents Reveal the Real Agenda

They changed the name of CHAZ because it stood for Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. The incompetent anarchists who took over the six-block area are anything BUT autonomous as they ask for donations of food, cigarettes, matches, and whatever else they think is coming to them. Now the area has been renamed CHOP or Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone.

Progressive "leaders" such as Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan have declared the riots as “peaceful.” Durkan claims the area has a “block party atmosphere.” She refuses to admit that it's more of a block-throwing atmosphere.

In case you haven't guessed it, the real agenda of these anarchists is a slow, methodical takedown of our way of life because these people believe that America is a terrible place and taking what they want from you is justified.

Some leftists in the media have likened the anarchy to a “street festival," while Durkan, who has proven herself to be a total idiot, recently predicted the occupied zone could very well turn into a “summer of love.” Of course, it isn't very lovable for those whose businesses that are being robbed destroyed or looted and their 911 calls being ignored. Nor is it a summer of love for people who live inside the zone these anarchists have overrun and declared theirs.

Durkan should be removed from office and tried for treason as she gives the anarchists credibility in their overtaking of American soil.

This is not a protest, it is an attempt to take over sovereign American land. It has devolved to where guns are being distributed to vigilante “warlords,” and journalists are being attacked in broad daylight because "Fox."

Anyone who disagrees with the mob are bum-rushed and forced to leave the area. Opposing ideas scare and confuse these communists and there is no First Amendment in the zone.

Seattle police chief Carmen Best told the media that “Our calls for service have more than tripled. These are responses to emergency calls — rapes, robberies, and all sorts of violent acts that have been occurring in the area that we’re not able to get to.”

Things have deteriorated so badly in the area that people who live in the zone, as does Matthew Ploszaj, are saying that they feel like “sitting ducks.”

“We are just sitting ducks all day,” Ploszaj told local KIRO 7. “Now every criminal in the city knows they can come into this area, and they can do anything they want, as long as it isn’t life-threatening. And the police won’t come in to do anything about it.”

He said he called 911 when seeing a burglar break into his building courtyard and steal a bike. He said the police dispatcher told him there is "nothing we can do" unless someone's life is in danger.

Business owners were told that the police "would not" respond to break-ins and confrontations at their businesses. In one case, Russel Kimble's auto shop was broken into and there was a confrontation as police "observed the location from a distance." A safe distance.

People who have left the area and refuse to return don't appear to be returning in the near future thanks to Durkan and other useless and cowardly officials who would rather appear “woke” than do what they have been sworn to uphold.

Anyone who votes for Democratic leadership either for the country or their local representatives deserves what they get. Those who find themselves living under that leadership might consider leaving.
