Mother of US hero angry Prince Harry got her son's award: "I am shocked"

Medals L-R: for holding in flatulence; for learning to fly;
for marrying Meghan Markle; for being born in royalty. The
silver cross is for the loss of his testicles from said marriage

Pat Tillman was an NFL safety who joined the Army Rangers after the September 11, 2001 attack. He put his football career on the back-burner and risked his life for his country. Sadly, he was killed in a firefight, and it is believed it came from friendly fire. But that's irrelevant--it was his bravery and sacrifice that matters.

ESPN, the far-left sports network, has decided to honor Prince Harry with the Pat Tillman Award because a) he isn't American; b) he isn't heroic; and c) conservatives tend to think of him as a castrated schmuck. This is what happens when a sports network gets involved in politics and forgets that their viewers watch them for sports.

Mary Tillman, Pat's mother, said she was never consulted by the far-left network to give the Duke of Sussex the American award named after her son.

“I am shocked as to why they would select such a controversial and divisive individual to receive the award,” Mary told the Daily Mail.

“There are recipients that are far more fitting,” she added. “There are individuals working in the veteran community that are doing tremendous things to assist veterans.” The only thing that Harry does is Meghan's bidding.

She added that Harry is already famous and has received numerous awards in his life, so ESPN should have chosen someone else who’s never been in the spotlight [and has actually done some good for others].

The Pat Tillman Award has often been given to unsung heroes, with last year’s recipient being the Buffalo Bills training staff who revived a player who had suffered a cardiac arrest in the middle of a game. Harry has never revived anyone.

Mary said she was confused as to why ESPN would choose such a polarizing figure [who is married to an even more polarizing B actress].

Mary’s condemnation was echoed by ESPN analysts Pat McAfee, who accused his own network on Friday of "trying to piss people off" by selecting Harry for the award.

“It’s going to Prince Harry,” McAfee said on his talk show, “who I don’t even think is a Prince anymore, right? He said don’t call me that? See, why does the ESPYs do this s–t?

“This is like actually the most embarrassing thing I’ve seen in my entire life,” he added.

In picking Harry and others to receive honors during the upcoming ESPY Awards (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly), Kate Jackson, VP, Production at ESPN, touted the recipients as those who have changed the world.

“These honorees have used their platforms to change the world and make it more inclusive for marginalized and suffering communities, demonstrating incredible resilience, positivity and perseverance, and we’re thrilled to celebrate them at the 2024 ESPYs,” Jackson said.

Tillman, a former safety for the Arizona Cardinals, served in Iraq and then Afghanistan before he was killed by friendly fire in 2004, with the soldier posthumously awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his service.

Biden loses his s*** against Israel

War is not a clean game. There are always situations where innocent people get killed like what happened in Afghanistan where NFL player Patrick Tillman was killed on April 22, 2004 by our own troops. Sometimes countries intentionally kill innocent civilians like we did in the bombings of Dresden, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki in World War Two. And sometimes innocent people are in the wrong place and mistakes are made.

Unfortunately, Israeli forces mistakenly struck vehicles carrying aid workers as they traveled through an active war zone on Monday. The World Central Kitchen convoy was comprised of citizens of Australia, UK, and Poland, as well as an American.

The IDF immediately admitted their mistake and began an investigation into how it happened. But Joe Biden, the brain addled so called President of the United States, arrogantly raged against Israel in a condescending, faux righteous prattle, saying how he was outraged" at what happened and mumbled that Israel "has not done enough" to protect aid workers in the area.

Meanwhile, Hamas tries to kill them on purpose but the way Joe seems to see it, they can do no wrong.
New Biden statement: “This is a major reason why distributing humanitarian aid in Gaza has been so difficult – because Israel has not done enough to protect aid workers trying to deliver desperately needed help to civilians… Israel has also not done enough to protect civilians.” pic.twitter.com/zcmzOQwspB— Josh Eidelson (@josheidelson) April 2, 2024
Biden demanded "accountability," and added that "incidents like yesterday's simply should not happen."

What a genius observation President Obvious said. Of course it should not happen but in war these things do happen because they cannot be avoided, like the time the Biden administration accidentally killed seven children in the Afghanistan withdrawal. Where was Biden's anger then?

At no point following that tragic incident did our alleged President express a fraction of the anger he is showing towards Israel in this situation. And where was the accountability for that strike? Not one person in his administration was disciplined or lost their job over it. Biden was even reportedly "defiant" afterward.

For Biden to trash an Israel, our only true ally in the Middle East, over an obvious accident that is no different from the  hundreds of accidents committed by the United States and our other allies throughout the war on terror is disingenuous.

Every death on the battle field is on Hamas. They hide among civilians, in hospitals, schools and mosques, and use innocent people as human shields. Where is Biden's outrage over that?

Let's face it, Joe Biden does not like Israel and he can't hide it because he is a racist, brain impaired political lump who, as Obama once warned us to "not underestimate Joe's ability to f*** things up."

Brett Favre mistakes Colin Kaepernick for an actual hero

National Football League former player Brett Favre, had what appeared to be a serious discussion about another former player, Colin Kaepernick, of significantly less talent in throwing footballs to other players on the same team.

Favre mistakenly compared Kaepernick to an actual military hero who also played for the NFL on the Arizona Cardinal team, Pat Tillman. After the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, Tillman left his lucrative football career and joined the United States Army. Kaepernick, on the other hand, did not.

The seriously flawed Kaepernick was not a very good quarterback and to maintain public attention, and possibly do something to keep from being cut, he traditionally kneeled along the sidelines before games while the "Star Spangled Banner" was played to honor the country for which Tillman died. He also wore socks that depicted pigs in police uniforms.

It seems as if Brett Favre is either getting like Joe Biden with his thinking by not recalling Kaepernick's anti-American displays, or he doesn't understand the definition of "hero" -- a person who is idealized or admired for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

Sucking as he did as a quarterback in his final season, it would have taken more courage not to put on a public display in the hopes of remaining relevant and possibly keep throwing "ducks" that were sometimes intercepted by the opposing teams, and sometimes just died a quiet, lonely thud.

Pat Tillman had real courage. While serving as an Army Ranger in Afghanistan, he was killed by friendly fire on April 22, 2004.

But perhaps, now that Brett Favre has retired from football, a game in which he truly excelled and loved, he too needs to join the woke crowd of leftists who believe they are more virtuous than the people whose statues they tear down or businesses they burn while calling for cops [those 'pigs' on Kaepernick's socks] to be defunded, aka disbanded.

“You know, I can only think of, right off the top of my head, Pat Tillman, as another guy who did something, you know, similar, and we regard him as a hero,” Favre said. “So, I assume that hero status will be stamped with Kaepernick as well.”

Yeah, Pat Tillman, you know, did something. It reminds us when Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) described the 911 terror attacks as "some people did something" Both Favre and Omar are kind of, you know, stupid.

I used to admire Favre, now I just shake my head.
