Cory 'Spartacus' Booker gets his ties on Wall Street

When Cory Booker jumped into the 2020 presidential race with his dramatic bug-eyed announcement on Friday, he promised to build his campaign the “right way,” by forgoing money from corporate political action committees and federal lobbyists.

But Spartacus' previous ties to Wall Street, the millions of dollars he accepted in donations from Wall Street companies and his defense of Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital in 2012, may bite him on the buns.

“I’m not about to sit here and indict private equity,” he said as he sat there during a "Meet the Press" interview back when he was the failed mayor of Newark, N.J. At the time, Obama’s presidential campaign was attacking Romney, who ultimately lost, in an ad describing him as someone who, in a fake Robin Hood reversal “takes from the poor and the middle class and gives to the rich.”

Booker subsequently changed tack and waffled on his position, blasting GOP efforts to take advantage of his statements and reaffirming his support for Obama, saying the president’s campaign had a right to scrutinize Romney’s characterization of himself as a job creator, which, of course he was.

And in the Senate, he opposed a compromise bill passed last year rolling back some of the restrictions on Wall Street imposed under the Dodd-Frank reform law in 2010.

“In the wake of the greed- and excess-fueled financial crisis, big banks got a massive bailout while millions of Americans lost their homes,” he said in March. “We shouldn’t be weakening the very safeguards put in place to prevent such a catastrophe from repeating itself.”

But low and behold, the finance industry contributed $2.8 million to Booker’s Senate campaign in 2014, with many of the largest donations coming from employees of three of the country’s biggest banks, according to records compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.

Workers at Goldman Sachs gave his campaign $80,400, compared with $78,120 from employees of Morgan Stanley and $64,582 from employees of JPMorgan Chase.

Law firms with major securities-industry practices gave the warrior Spartacus even more: Attorneys at Paul Weiss chipped in $177,020 while their peers at Sullivan & Cromwell donated $137,950.

Booker’s haul, which has already drawn scrutiny from envious progressives, far outstripped the industry’s contributions to any of his Democratic peers campaigning to move from the Senate to the White House in 2020.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, whose state is home to the headquarters of banks from Goldman to Citigroup, garnered only $1.15 million from the industry in her 2018 race. This is due, in part, to her inability to remain loyal to any one issue. She is like a weather vane and will go anywhere the wind blows.

Sen. Kamala Harris of California drew only $727,674 from Wall Street in her 2016 campaign, while Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts received just $355,271 in her re-election campaign last fall.

Booker had been mayor of Newark, New Jersey from 2006 to 2013. He was handed a poor, crime ridden city, and his solution was to eventually reduce the size of the police force, because liberals think backwards. Democrats have been elected to mayor of Newark consistently since 1953.

After Booker was elected, millions of dollars of private and public partnerships investment poured into Newark for Downtown development, but persistent underemployment and poverty was still an ongoing problem.

In 2008, the murder rate climbed by 30 percent according to the New York Times . It had dropped by that amount the previous year and made a bloody comeback with Spartacus in charge.

As of 2010, about 33 percent of the population was impoverished. That year, about two-thirds of voters age 18 and up, were registered Democrats, voting for the smoke and mirror promises made by that party.

Data from 2010 by the U.S. Census Bureau as reported in NJ.com describes Newark as the third poorest of 35 poorest towns in the state. The median income in Newark is $33,025 and a 29.1 below poverty level, [with the latest level slightly higher]. Camden only follows Atlantic City [$26,656 and median poverty level 36.6] and Camden [$26,214 and median poverty level 38.4] as the poorest city in the state.

In 2012, CNN Money rated Newark as America's 6th most dangerous city.

And Cory Booker wants to be president when he can't even figure out how to improve a city.

Man cited for leaving dog chained outside in freezing cold

BROOKLYN, MN -- A Minnesota man was cited for allegedly leaving his dog outside in chops-freezing weather.

Dang Xiong, 29, left his dog outside in Brooklyn Center on Tuesday. Temperatures had fallen to minus degrees F., KMSP-TV reported

The cold dog was reportedly found by officers--it was chained up outside around 3 p.m. Responding officers said they found vomit near the dog, who had access to minimal food and water.

The dog owner was cited with inhumanely, unnecessarily, cruelly beating, injuring or abusing an animal, and his dog was seized by authorities. 

If this had been Brooklyn, New York, rather than Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and the dog was a newborn baby human instead of a dog, Xiong would not have been cited for a resulting death, as long as the baby was made comfortable as it died. 

But cruelty to animals is unacceptable in all U.S. states.

Pets, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), should be brought indoors in cold weather conditions.

Northam now says it wasn't him in the yearbook KKK photo--but he has a history

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam said in a press conference on Saturday that he is not the person in his yearbook photo page depicting a man in blackface and another in full KKK regalia. Yesterday he admitted that it was him.

He said he once wore blackface in a Michael Jackson contest where he used shoe polish and did the "Moonwalk" to win first place. He remembers that vividly, but didn't initially remember that he wasn't in the racist photo.

What he didn't mention was a televised debate in the Lieutenant Governor's race in which he refuses to shake the hand of his black opponent, E.W. Jackson. He can make any excuse he wants to make, but the short video clearly shows Northam not responding to Jackson's offer of a handshake.

“It was insulting, but, on the other hand, I thought it was consistent with the way he behaves. Because, this spot he’s been running, saying that I believe that a child born with birth defects is born that way because of their parents’ sin is just a damnable, palpable, despicable lie. I don’t believe that. I never said anything like that. And it’s that kind of dishonesty that, to me, says this is not the kind of person that needs to be holding state-wide office. Not shaking my hand really just confirmed that,” E.W. Jackson said in the interview. 

But Northam is willing to kill a child born with birth defects that don't threaten its life. He is willing to kill a child after it's born if the mother and doctor agree that it should die. He fully supported the failed bill by Del. Kathy Tran that allows for abortion right up to the minute of birth and even after it passes through the birth canal, still undocumented as a person, but still a person, nevertheless. 

This is Northam's worst sin. His clearest indication of a lack of morality.

He spoke at the news conference where reporters actually asked him tough questions. It seems even the left wants him to go, not because of his stance on killing babies, but on the yearbook showing him to be a racist. They're both horrible, but killing babies is worse by far and the media never asked him about that. 

The thing is, if he's forced out or resigns, he has another Democrat to take his place. Justin E. Fairfax, only the second black person to hold a statewide office in Virginia, whose stance on liberal issues is within the Party line.

Fairfax is a 39-year-old Democrat and a former federal prosecutor. He attended Duke University and Columbia University. Some of the issues he supports are:

Prison reform, tighter gun control , campaign donation limits, Obamacare, increased taxes on infrastructure, and of course, Planned Parenthood. He was called by PP one of several "stalwart proponents of access to women's health" who "has taken bold actions in support of Planned Parenthood."

So, like Northam, he is in favor of killing the unwanted babies that are born in the state. If Northam resigns, Fairfax would become governor.

Northam says he is not the person in the racist yearbook photo, but acknowledges darkening face for another party and doing the "Moonwalk" like Michael Jackson.

"When I was confronted with the image, I was appalled that it appeared on my page, but I believed then and I believe now that I am not either of the people in that photograph," Northam said at a press conference at the governor's mansion.

He apologized for the picture appearing on his page, calling the image "offensive" and "racist," but said that he had nothing to do with the preparation of the yearbook, nor did he buy it. Of course, you'd think he would have at least looked at it before deciding not to buy it, but maybe he's telling the truth, and maybe O.J. was innocent.

He acknowledged that he had initially admitted the picture was him, but said that "in the hours since I made my statement, I reflected with family and classmates from that time and it affirmed my conclusion that I am not the person in that photograph." He also reflected that he needed the job as governor because he obviously sucked at being a doctor that saves lives.

Northam said that while he did not attend that party where the picture was taken, he did attend a party the same year in which he said he "darkened my face as part of a Michael Jackson costume." He said he used black shoe polish--but it seems to me that black was not the color of Michael Jackson when he was moonwalking with little kids.

He also said that he did not expect Virginians to believe him immediately or to forgive his actions right away: "I am just asking for that ability to demonstrate that the person I was is not the man I am today."

And Virginians aren't all that gullible.

Elizabeth Warren smokes peace pipe with Cherokee Nation

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Democrat, of course--MA) has finally figuratively smoked a peace pipe with the Cherokee Nation, not for claiming to be part of the tribe, but for taking a DNA test to try proving it.

The DNA test 23 And Me, was used to "prove" she had Native-American ancestry. But the test merely showed that one of her ancestors may have sat on a toilet seat, got impregnated by either a South American or possibly a Native American, and that she might be 1/1024th Cherokee. Or not.

Warren's calculated apology comes after she sent out smoke signals to formally launch her 2020 presidential campaign.

“Senator Warren has reached out to us and has apologized to the tribe. We are encouraged by this dialogue and understanding that being a Cherokee Nation tribal citizen is rooted in centuries of culture and laws, not through DNA tests,” Cherokee Nation spokeswoman Julie Hubbard wrote in a statement written in English rather than her native Iroquoian, which Warren does not speak.

The October DNA test by the Massachusetts senator angered some tribal leaders and sparked plenty big political pushback against the squaw at the time.

The move comes just over a quarter moon before Warren is expected to formally declare her candidacy for president, once she launched an exploratory committee. 

On Thursday, her campaign teased that Warren would have an announcement on Feb. 9. The country is waiting with baited breath.

Warren's effort to clean up from the DNA test rollout comes as several other big-name figures enter the 2020 race -- most recently, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker on Friday.

The DNA results also fueled claims by Republican critics that she used a trace amount of Native American heritage to advance her academic career as she did at Harvard, a school that hires based on intersectional criteria.

The test itself revealed strong evidence the Massachusetts senator had a Native-American ancestor dating back six to 10 generations. But that means if Warren’s great-great-great-grandmother were Native American, she would be considered 1/64 Native American. Should Warren’s ancestor date back 10 generations, she would be only 1/1,024 Native American.

The Cherokee Nation slammed Warren at the time, with the tribe’s secretary of state Chuck Hoskin Jr., saying the use of “a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong.”

Warren’s apology appears to be an about-face by the senator, who up until now had repeatedly defended taking the DNA test.

Asked about it on the campaign trail in Iowa – days after she launched a presidential exploratory committee on Dec. 31 – Warren said she acted in the interest of transparency.

“My decision was I’m just going to put it all out there. All my hiring records. Including the DNA test. It’s out there. It’s online. Anybody can look at it,” she explained.

The Warren campaign did not immediately respond to a request by Fox News for comment on Friday.

Virginia abortion bill co-sponsor postpones town hall over 'safety concerns' for her, not babies

A town hall meeting that was scheduled for today, Saturday, featuring Democrat Kathy Tran, [aka "The Dragon Lady"] the Virginia state delegate who co-sponsored the state’s controversial late-term abortion bill, has been postponed over “security and safety concerns.” She does not want to be injured by anyone angry at her for wanting to kill babies.

Tran is a co-sponsor of Virginia’s Repeal Act, which seeks to allow third-trimester abortions in virtually all cases in which the mother wants to kill her baby. The Dragon Lady had been scheduled to meet with constituents on Saturday in Lorton, Va., along with state Sens. Scott Surovell and George Barker, also Democrats.

“Unfortunately, we are postponing our joint legislative town hall meeting scheduled for Saturday, February 2 due to security and safety concerns for our constituents who planned to attend as well as participants coming to youth sports activities at South County High School,” the lawmakers wrote in an online post.

Apparently, Tran worries that people who value the sanctity of all human life would become violent with her for having no remorse over committing violent infanticide. She is probably wrong--these people tend not to be violent to the morally challenged unless they pose a personal threat, but there are always a few crazy people who might.

“We value talking to constituents about their concerns for our community and how we can help address them,” the statement continued. “We had looked forward to continuing this dialogue and sharing legislative updates this weekend. While we are very disappointed to have to make this decision, the safety of our neighbors and constituents is paramount.

“We will update our constituents once our town hall is rescheduled. We will continue to make ourselves available to hear our constituents’ priorities, including those with differing opinions.”

Tran angered pro-life people this week when she said that, under the bill, a pregnant woman who was dilating could still request an abortion.

She later said she “misspoke” when she made the comment during a legislative hearing. She didn't misspeak--watch the video--she told the truth. Maybe for a Democrat that whenever they tell the truth they consider it misspeaking. But the video tells it all.

Ralph Northam's med school yearbook shows guys in blackface and KKK outfit

Brett Kavanaugh almost fell victim to the left for using the word "boof" as a high school kid. The word means fart. He was a high school kid, that's how they roll.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's (D) 1984 medical school yearbook page surfaced Friday showing Northam on one page in a regular photo and one by his car, and the other page showing someone dressed in blackface and another in a KKK robe. The man in blackface holds what is supposed to represent beer. It's unclear who is in the photo, but one must assume Northam either knows them or is one of them to allow that on his yearbook page.

The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Virginia, on Friday said it obtained a copy of the 1984 yearbook page from the Eastern Virginia Medical School library. Northam graduated from the school that year. The Washington Post reported that it also independently confirmed the authenticity of the page.

The quote on the page says, “There are more old drunks than old doctors in this world so I think I’ll have another beer.”

The Republican Party of Virginia tweeted that Northam “needs to explain this immediately.”

But more disgusting is Northam's advocating infanticide. He agrees with Delegate Tran's bill that would allow for abortion right up to the birth of the baby and, if the abortion is botched, the baby is made comfortable while mother and doctors discuss whether to kill it or not. [Can you guess which way the abortion doctors will go in these cases?]

Northam refused to back down from comments that have sparked outrage. "I have devoted my life to caring for children and any insinuation otherwise is shameful and disgusting," Northam tweeted this week. But infanticide is a lot more shameful and disgusting than it is to call it out.

The Virginia State Republican Party is calling for Northam to step down, not over his willingness to kill babies, but because of the yearbook with its racist overtones. This is how perverted we as a society have become.

As this post was being written, Northam apologized for appearing in a "racist and offensive" photo in the 1984 yearbook.

“Earlier today, a website published a photograph of me from my 1984 medical school yearbook in a costume that is clearly racist and offensive,” Northam said in a statement.

He added, “I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now.”

“I recognize that it will take time and serious effort to heal the damage this conduct has caused," Northam said. "I am ready to do that important work. The first step is to offer my sincerest apology and to state my absolute commitment to living up to the expectations Virginians set for me when they elected me to be their governor.”

Brett Kavanaugh did far less and look at how the left attacked him. I think the left has set the rules, they suck, but we should not let this one go by. He should be made to resign--there is proof here where none existed in the Kavanaugh attacks.

However, let's not lose sight of the real problem: the fact that the left is willing to kill babies. Hopefully, Northam's character may have made the fight against these fools a little easier.

Michael Moore willing to boycott Starbucks' scones and cakes until Schultz drops out

The Democrats are having conniptions over former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz and his decision to run in the 2020 presidential election as an independent. Because the Democrats have gone so far over to the left, they're worried that Schultz is too moderate and will grab a lot of the votes of those who realize just how crazy the Democratic Party has become. When it comes for the left to choose between Kamala Harris, who wants to tax everyone to pay for programs that would make America look like Venezuela with perhaps more toilet paper, and Howard Schultz, who sees the left's plans are un-American, the choice for moderates is easy. He would likely never win, but he'd suck away enough votes to give Trump a second term.

Now Michael "Pass the Ketchup" Moore wants to boycott Starbucks to bully Schultz into dropping out of the election. Moore used to love the guy before he decided to exercise his right to run for office.

Speaking on the libtard show "Late Night with Seth Meyers," Moore has called for a boycott on the coffee chain until Schultz steps down, which will arguably be about as effective as the boycott against Chick-fil-A over same-sex marriage.

Moore first blasted Schultz for claiming to be a "self-made billionaire," which is hurtful anytime real liberals (as opposed to socialists) are actually self-made billionaires as Schultz really is.

"You take issue with 'self-made," said the unfunny Meyers.

Moore replied, "In the same sentence he goes, 'I'm a self-made billionaire, I grew up in the projects in Brooklyn.' Right away by admitting that you had subsidized public housing paid for by the tax dollars of the American people, you aren’t self-made,” Moore explained in his "You didn't build it" bull crap moment.

“You got a hand-up from us, like we wanted to, we want to help our fellow Americans. It’s a form of socialism, public housing, and yet he’s saying, ‘I’m all self-made.'"

Well fatso, Social Security is a form of socialism and even the family structure is a form of socialism. It doesn't make the entire government a socialist entity--that would be Venezuela.

But to credit the city with making Schultz a billionaire because, as a child his parents got subsidized housing, is ludicrous.

Moore went on to critique Schultz for all of the public benefits he received while growing up, including his education. Seth Meyers simply nodded along with a "Yeah" or two interjected throughout.

"He went to public university; he went to Northern Michigan University actually, and you know, again, financed by taxpayers' dollars," he continued. "And he sells coffee, which is essentially water using city water systems, municipal water systems."

Are you following this nonsense? This is how socialists like Moore justify the system and attack anyone that causes them difficulty. By Moore's logic, nobody is self-made. Except if you fall into the intersectional criteria that makes you a victim and gives you 'creds' for being born that way. Schultz is white and is Jewish--he had it made in the shade when he was born.

Except he didn't. He was poor and the first in the family to go to college. He built a billion dollar business from a simple coffee shop.

By no means am I advocating you vote for him, just pray he runs.

And pray Michael Moore keeps touting his socialist schtick and doesn't eat all the hamburgers and fries.

Louis Farrakhan: still slimy after all these years

Scumcrumpet anti-Semite and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan thinks he speaks for G-d. That's because his mental illness tells him he does.

Now the asshat is calling for a separate state for Black Americans saying that this is what G-d wants. How does he know this? The voices in his head speak to him on a regular basis.

In an attempt to appeal to his fellow racists, the old fart posted a video on Instagram Thursday, shouting, that's "what G-d wants" while those opposed he called "slaves."

Of late, Farrakhan has gone ballistic with his anti-Semitic bile, and he made his call for a nation-state separate from white America. This came in response to a question as to whether this remains his and his group's goal.

“That's not just my goal. That's what God wants," the schmuck said. "Most of our people don't want it here. You love your enemy. You want to stay with your enemy. You're in love with his wealth. I understand the fascination, slaves. I understand that. But God has something else for us.”

Yes, G-d has a special place for a**holes like Farrakhan and you don't want to go there.

The finger-sniffing Nation of Islam leader went on to reiterate that neither he nor his mouth-breathing followers has changed its goal of a separate state since they got together as a racist hate group in the 1960s.

“Let me tell you what's gonna happen. Yes, I'm after a separate state. A separate nation. In the 60s what was our cry? We weren't saying we want to integrate, we were saying 'It's nation time!'” he bloviated

Farrakhan’s post appears to be a clip from an interview on “The Rock Newman Show” in 2015. It remains unclear what prompted him to post the video again.

The hate group leader has faced criticism over his anti-Semitic comments. Back in May, he lost his verified blue-check status [but was not banned] on Twitter after posting a hateful video in which he asked, “Will you recognize Satan? I wonder, will you see the Satanic Jew and the Synagogue of Satan, which has many races in it because Satan has deceived the whole world?”

He doubled-down on his anti-Semitic rhetoric, posting another video in recent months where he says that he wasn’t prejudiced against Jewish people but was simply “anti-Termite.”  He has also made numerous anti-gay slurs which seems no to be a problem with the LGBTQ community.

In November, Farrakhan and his groupies went on a solidarity trip to Iran and led “Death to America” chants. For some strange reason, they allowed the traitor back into the country and didn't charge him in order not to offend Muslim extremists.

During the trip, Farrakhan told Iranian students that “America has never been a democracy,” and also led a “Death to Israel” chant at the end of his talk, Iranian news agencies reported.

Only in America can morons such as Farrakhan openly say the crap he says, and then incredibly claim the country has never been a democracy.
