Tampon Tim gets blasted by veterans for his stolen valor and China connections

Stolen valor refers to the act of falsely claiming to have served in the military, received military honors, or performed heroic acts to gain respect, benefits, or recognition. It's considered a disrespectful and fraudulent misrepresentation of military service. 

Tim Walz, [aka Tampon Tim] the Democrat Governor of Minnesota and failed Vice Presidential candidate, allegedly misrepresented his lackluster 24-year military service in the Army National Guard. The most cited issue is a 2018 video where Walz spoke about gun control and claimed he carried "weapons of war." Of course this implies he saw combat but the truth is, Walz resigned from the service when he learned that his unit was going to be deployed to Iraq. 

He also claimed that he was deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom, implying he was in combat, but he was in Italy, not in a combat zone. 

And again he has an issue with his rank. Walz was promoted to command sergeant major but retired from service before completing the requirements for that rank, so his official retirement rank was master sergeant. But Walz referred to himself as a command sergeant major in political campaigns and this was obviously misleading.

On Wednesday at a veterans rally at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul, Walz (D) welcomed veterans for the annual "Veterans Day on the Hill" celebration but was met by an angry group of veterans who called him a "coward" and blasted him for sympathizing with Communist China, according to footage captured by KSTP.

"Coward! You sympathize with the Chinese!" some veterans holding American flags and "take action" signs shouted at Tampon Tim as he welcomed them to the Capitol.

"Sir, you're welcome to come… Let me finish!" Walz replied as he tried to ease tensions while another veteran shouted: "Shut your f***ing mouth!"

"Woah, hey – there’s some passion in the building, which is a good thing," Walz stupidly said before beginning his address.

Footage of the hecklers disrupting Walz's remarks has gone viral on social media, with conservative influencers celebrating the criticism.

Walz served in the Minnesota National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery after transferring from the Nebraska National Guard in 1996, but he resigned from the military when learning his unit was going to be deployed to the war in Iraq.

Walz's decades-long ties to China also came to light when Vice President Kamala Harris picked him as her running mate last summer. He worked briefly in China as a teacher, traveling to Guangdong in 1989 for a teaching-abroad program to teach English and American history. And his woke thinking makes one wonder if a little touch of communism rubbed off on him.

Who am I kidding? Of course it did.

The man who put tampons in the boys' bathrooms, cut and run from the military when he found out his unit was going to deploy Iraq, his stolen valor when he claimed to have carried weapons of war "into combat," and his lie about his rank when he left the military, has called Elon Musk "gay."

This "manly man" who apparently cannot load a shotgun in under an hour and high-kicks like a Radio City Music Hall Rockette called the richest man on Earth "gay' and fails to see the irony. 

Not that there's anything wrong with being gay, but Walz did not mean it as a compliment--he meant it as a slur, and the Harris-Walz campaign is having a cow now that Walz revealed what he really thinks about those he pretends to support.

But it isn't as if Harris is a political genius. Her pick of the goofy, far-left Minnesota Governor, demonstrates her lack of good judgment, and her word salads highlight her bizarre thought processes. 

Walz had first called JD Vance "weird," but lo and behold, it was Walz who wins the booby prize of weirdness with his lies, his cowardice to deploy with his men, his odd gesticulations, and his cozy relationship with Communist China.

Walz obviously hates Elon. He has made derogatory comments about him like his "skipping like a dips**t when Elon returned with President Donald Trump to Butler, PA, where the former President was nearly assassinated.

I would say that his rhetoric is like the pot calling the kettle black, but Musk isn't even the kettle in this case--if anyone is weird, it's Walz. The guy even lied about getting his PhD.

Democrat Gov. and stolen valor perp regrets not correcting interviewers who said he's a Bronze Star recipient

Democratic Maryland Governor Wes Moore is more or less regretful [after being outed] over allowing interviewers to call him a Bronze Star recipient when he did not receive such an award, nor had he ever received even a plastic star.

The Democrat served as an Army captain in Afghanistan and when he included a Bronze Star in his 2006 application for a White House fellowship, his critics were suspicious and the New York Times filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Afterward, in at least two interviews where he was identified as a Bronze Star recipient, Moore did not correct them and has now been labeled the recipient of stolen valor.

"It was an honest mistake that I made nearly 20 years ago, and I own it," Moore claimed in a Fox News Digital interview Friday. Mistake? If someone called you a Bronze Star recipient, wouldn't you correct them? When you know you didn't receive a Bronze Star, how is it a "mistake" not to correct the person who says you did?

"When I was just coming back from a combat deployment, when I was now being thrust into a national media that I'd never been in before, when I was still very much dealing with a lot of the consequences of conflict," he continued. "Should I have, in a long introduction, gone back and said something? In retrospect, I probably should have… And I take responsibility for that." 

Probably? Even now he's trying to minimize the fact that he perpetrated stolen valor.

Moore was misidentified as a Bronze Star recipient in a 2008 interview by the late "PBS NewsHour" host Gwen Ifill and in a 2010 interview with comedian Stephen Colbert on "The Colbert Report." On the other hand, Colbert has often been misidentified as a comedian.

Moore remains proud of his service and said his love for the country is "undying."

"I joined the military when I was 17 years old. I chose to raise my hand and serve with the uniform of this country, the flag of the country on my shoulder, and to serve with one of the most elite units in the entire United States military," Moore said. "I led soldiers, I led paratroopers in combat, and I was rated as a top 1% officer. My senior rater said I was the best lieutenant that they worked with in all of Operation Enduring Freedom, in the entire Afghanistan campaign."

"I am deeply proud of my service. I'm deeply proud of the work that we did. I'm deeply proud of the work that I did, that I'm doing now to support veterans and veterans' families now as the governor of Maryland. And I will always do that, and I will always be very proud of the service I did," he added, but not mentioning the make believe Bronze Medal.

But with Democrats like Moore and Tim Walz, it's SOP [Standard Operating Procedure].

Tim Walz never received an award from Nebraska Chamber of Commerce--he lies a lot

Tim Walz didn't fight in Iran war, he served in Italy and bailed out of military when he was supposed to go there, nor did he retire as a Command Sergeant Major because he never finished the requirements to do so. He said he was carrying weapons for war, implying that he went to war--he didn't. Instead, he used these stolen valor lies to enhance himself politically.

Walz also wasn't a head coach for a high school football team, he was an assistant coach.

He lied about a 1995 DUI he had claiming he wasn't impaired. In fact, he was drunk and it's documented that he was going 96 mph in a 55 mph zone.

And his claim that he had his kids by IVF [in vitro fertilization] is yet another lie and the mainstream media has no interest in reporting any of this. He made the claim because he believes Republicans want to ban IVF treatment, but even his wife called him out on this.

So the guy who wants to be a heartbeat away from the presidency can't manage to be honest with the American public. He lies as often as Joe Biden gaffes. And now Walz it was discovered that he claimed to have won an award from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce for his apparent contributions to the business community while running for Congress in 2006. That turned out to be news to the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce's President Barry Kennedy has told Walz to remove the lie saying,  "we respectfully request that you remove any reference to our organization as it could be considered an endorsement of your candidacy. It should be pointed out, however, that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed your opponent, Congressman Gil Gutknecht, for his support of small business issues."

Talk about about a kick in the Tampons.

Like his football coaching claim, the award was actually for the Junior Chamber of Commerce. See, not head coach--assistant coach; not Chamber of Commerce--Junior Chamber of Commerce. 

Next thing you know we'll be hearing how Walz worked as a lifeguard and had to stand up to a guy named Chippotato.

Tim Walz wants us to fund college tuition for illegal aliens

Kamala Harris' VP choice, Tim "Fake War Vet" Walz supported the plan to give illegal aliens free tuition at Minnesota colleges where native Minnesotans, and other Americans, pay their own tuition while they also pay taxes that would go to pay tuition for the people who flood into this country illegally. 

This is how communism works and this is one example of how people don't want to accept it and why so many died fighting against it.

Walz signed the measure into law as governor in 2023.

According to a report from the SCRIPPS News, in 2023 an omnibus education bill that was signed into law by Walz, the "North Star Promise" program allowed for illegal aliens to apply for free college tuition within the Minnesota State and University of Minnesota school systems if their families make less than $80,000 a year.

Meanwhile, the suckers who pay for this via their taxes, get nothing in return other than a feeling of being screwed by a corrupt government.

A summary by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education says the North Star Promise "program will create a tuition and fee-free pathway to higher education for eligible Minnesota residents at eligible institutions as a 'last-dollar' program by covering the balance of tuition and fees remaining after other scholarships, grants, stipends and tuition waivers have been applied."

But that's not all. Walz also signed a bill giving illegal aliens driver's licenses, perhaps so that they can vote for the Santa Claus Party that is generous with other people's money.

 “Ensuring drivers in our state are licensed and carry insurance makes the roads safer for all Minnesotans," the stolen valor governor said as per the National Review.

How does having a driver's license make the roads safer? Not driving drunk or drugged makes the roads safer and there have been too many instances where illegal aliens have been guilty of both crimes, not to mention the other crimes we've seen committed by some of them.

Walz is further to the left than the leftist Vice President and he is a serial liar and a coward. He never served in Iraq nor carried "weapons of war" in battle. He left the National Guard and his men two years before his contract was up because he didn't want to go to war. 

Still he pretends he served in battle. He's as bad as Connecticut Sen. Dick Blumenthal who lied claiming he served in Vietnam.

CT man lied about being US war hero to his wife and the public--she now has dumped him

A man from Connecticut fighting for Ukraine has for decades lied to everyone, including his now former wife, about being a US war hero. After learning of his stolen valor, she ditched the marriage. [H/T New York Post]

James Vasquez, 48, became one of the most high-profile Americans to get over to Ukraine and help thwart the Russian invasion. Being the legend in his own mind that he claimed to be, he shared dramatic images from the front lines and also created controversy by claiming to have access to American weapons.

Vasquez constantly claimed to be a decorated US Army sergeant who unselfishly and quite heroically shared his incredible skill-set he acquired from his imaginary tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“I was in Kuwait during Desert Storm, and I was in Iraq after 9/11 … This is a whole different animal,” Vasquez bragged in an online interview pleading for funds to help his brave Ukraine war efforts.

But eventually, Vasquez, a Norwalk-based home improvement contractor, has admitted to the New York Times that he’d misrepresented [as in 'lied'] his military record for decades — and was kicked out of the Army Reserves before ever going to war.

The Pentagon confirmed that he’d never been deployed, and had only been a private first class — the second lowest rank one can have in the Army— rather than a battle-tested sergeant.

“I had to tell a million lies to get ahead,” Vasquez told the Times. However, he refused to elaborate on why he’d been kicked out of the military, where he specialized in fuel and electrical repairs rather than combat and heroic stuff.

“I didn’t realize it was going to come to this,” he said of the exposé, meaning: he didn't think he'd get caught.

His confession was an even bigger shock to his now-ex-wife Tina Vasquez, who had proudly told The Post when her husband first flew to Ukraine that war was “in his DNA.”

“He did the same thing after 9/11, rushed in to help. That’s just who he is — he’s my hero,” she proudly said at the time.

On Monday, she told The Post that she “was just as shocked as anybody else” to see her now-ex’s confessional.“It was just devastating to me. He fooled everybody.” 

“I believed him. The war stories that had supposedly happened brought tears to his eyes. I felt terrible for what [he said] he had to go through and endure — and then come to find out it was all just a lie,” she said.

“Here I am, I’m with him for 11 years and I don’t even know the man I married.

“You think you know somebody and it just blows up in your face,” she said, adding it all “seems like a dream.”

Tina filed for divorce over “other personal reasons” last July when her charlatan husband announced he was heading back to Ukraine for a second time after a few months back in the US. The divorce is now finalized.

The Post could not immediately contact Vasquez, who has since deactivated the Twitter account he used to share his now-questionable tales of conflict alongside Ukraine’s far-right Da Vinci’s Wolves battalion.

“He’s a ghost now — nobody knows where he is,” his ex-wife said, saying that former friends have also been unable to get through to him but believe he is now back in the US possibly working for Uber Eats.

“He needs help and I hope he gets the help that he needs. I pray for him every day,” she said.

Vasquez had confessed to the Times as part of a larger exposé of Americans aiding Ukraine’s war efforts despite problematic pasts.

The only remaining question Americans have is "which political party did this guy belong to?"

Self-identified Vietnam hero and US Senator Blumenthal breaks a leg

US Senator and self-proclaimed Vietnam War combat veteran Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), 77, is scheduled to undergo surgery on Easter Sunday after fracturing his femur at the victory parade for the UConn Men's Basketball team on Saturday.

The Huskies won the Men's NCAA Basketball National Championship earlier in the week, causing people who did not play in the game to grab the spotlight along with those who did. In Blumenthal's case, he doesn't only grab spotlights in sporting events, he even tried to grab it in the Vietnam War, which he claimed to fight in, but was later found to be lying.

News 12 Connecticut reported that someone was taking a video of the 77-year-old senator during the parade and fell on top of him which caused the injury.

Blumenthal was said to be in good spirits while speaking to News 12 Connecticut on the phone Saturday night, and told the outlet that his last minute turnaround jump shot was what won the game, so the injury didn't matter to him.

Blumenthal is currently serving in his third term in the United States Senate after being elected in 2011, and after not being a Vietnam War hero as previously believed.

The Huskies defeated San Diego State by a score of 79-56.

GOP Senate Candidate Kathy Barnette lied about her military service, records show

Republican Senate candidate for Pennsylvania Kathy Barnette apparently lied about her military service record as far back as five years ago. [H/T Daily Caller]

Barnette, a FOX News contributor, veteran and businesswoman, shows her polling in second or third place in a crowded field, including Dr. Mehmet Oz, and former Bridgewater CEO David McCormick. She tried to align herself with former President Trump and portrays herself as a conservative outsider, but the former President is endorsing Oz. 

Barnette was the GOP nominee for Pennsylvania's Fourth District and lost by 19 points to Democratic Rep. Madeleine Dean.

She had emphasized her military service and in interviews in 2017, but her facts are questionable.

According to her campaign website, “Kathy served her country proudly for 10 years in the Armed Forces Reserves where she was accepted into Officer Candidacy School.” But there is no such branch as the "Armed Forces Reserves."

There's the Army National Guard of the United States, the Army Reserve, the Navy Reserve, the Marine Corps Reserve, the Air National Guard of the United States, the Coast Guard Reserve, and the Air Force Reserve--just not an Armed Forces Reserves, according to the military.com website.

Overall, Barnette had claimed that she served for 10 years in the U.S. military at least 13 times, a Daily Caller review found. However, records released by the candidate to investigative reporter Gabe Kaminsky show that she served in the Army National Guard from 1993-1998, and in the Army Reserve from 1998-2000. Do the math: that = 7 yrs.

Notably, the record Barnette released is an NGB-22, which is issued to a National Guard service-member upon discharge. But it's the DD214 that shows one's military information such as rank, service medals and deployments, and she hasn't provided it to the media after it had been requested.

“Kathy J. Barnette served in the Alabama Army National Guard from September 1993 to March 1998. Her primary military occupational specialty was 63S, Heavy-Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, and she attained the rank of specialist. Her last unit with the ARNG was the 778th Maintenance Company, Alabama Army National Guard,” spokesperson Madison Bonzo said in a statement. “Kathy J. Barnette also served in the Army Reserve as a Human Resource Specialist (71L/42A) from 1998 to 2000.”

There is nothing indicating that she was accepted into Officer Candidate School (OCS).

Barnette claimed that she entered the military in 1990 and exited in 2000, leaving with honorable discharges.

“As soon as I got home from Elk County, and I mean, no one walks around with their records in their back pocket. So I did give them my information, pull it out, take pictures, and I started sending it to all the media outlets.”

Her comments were in reference to a report from the Washington Examiner’s Salena Zito, who wrote on Wednesday that the Barnette campaign refused to answer basic questions about the candidate’s biography. Barnette’s campaign manager reportedly hung up on a Washington Free Beacon reporter who also requested the DD214.

The Barnette campaign did not respond to multiple requests from the Daily Caller for comment and her DD214.

Releasing DD214s and other supporting information is common practice for candidates with military service records. McCormick, a Gulf War veteran, provided his DD214 when contacted for comment by the Daily Caller. The fact that Barnette has not, does not bode well for her.

Barnette is not the only candidate in the GOP primary to face questions about prior military experience. Oz served in the Turkish army for several years in the 1980s to maintain his dual citizenship, and his connections to the Erdogan regime have drawn scrutiny from other candidates and the Armenian-American expatriate community. His stance about abortion is basically closer to pro-choice than to pro-life one, but he has been wishy-washy about this issue since deciding to run for political office.

Personally, McCormick seems like the most conservative and best candidate of the three, but that's just my opinion.

MSNBC Stolen Valor Hack Busted: did not "fight" in Ukraine

MSNBC's Malcolm Nance a-LARPing he did go. Yes, the network's 'intelligence analyst' LARPed--Live Action Role Playing, that is. In April he pretended to go "fight" in Ukraine, but didn't have the gonads to actually physically go there to fight--he just pretended out loud to do that--it's safer that way.

Nance is an avid Trump-hater and was on the former President's case his entire term in office. In May last year, he proclaimed a coming Trump-led “terrorist and paramilitary insurgency.” Of course, that never happened, but nothing this BS artist says tends to be true.

Too bad the Department of Homeland Security hadn't tried to create a disinformation governance board back then, but now that they're trying their level best, perhaps its intended head, Nina Jankowicz, will call Nance out on his LARPing.

Nance is as phony as the Nigerian Princess, padding his fake credentials to pose as a former James Bond but with added military expertise. The guy has said more crap than a farmer's manure spreader, making bizarre predictions that anyone who knows his history wouldn't take seriously.

The poser appeared on racist Joy Reid's hate-filled ridiculous show and cosplayed as an operative ready to head out to Ukraine and fight the Russians. Then he went on social media and did the same act.

Stolen Valor thief Blumenthal slams Barr for 'unfounded, irresponsible claims' of spying

I cannot emphasize enough my distaste for people who claim to be war heroes. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) is one such lying piece of trash.


On Wednesday, Blumenthal hypocritically attacked U.S. Attorney General
William Barr, moralizing that Barr “must retract his unfounded, irresponsible claim that American law enforcement ‘spied’ on the Trump Campaign.” At least Trump didn't claim to be a Vietnam veteran.

The phony senator went on, “As Barr admitted, there is absolutely no evidence that our nation’s own law enforcement officers did anything unlawful during their investigation into Russian meddling in our democracy. To recklessly suggest otherwise is deeply offensive.”

It's quite clear that the left has lost interest in pursuing the origins of the spying in 2016 and they are running scared and attacking Barr, who is simply telling the truth: spying took place beginning with Carter Page, and all we want to do is get to the bottom of it.

Blumenthal, who should have had the insight to keep his lying mouth shut, instead said:

“I’m deeply disappointed AG Barr has so demeaned himself & DOJ by carelessly acting as a mouthpiece for Trump’s conspiracy theories. This language has a real, measurable impact on the lives & safety of our men & women in law enforcement. He owes them a retraction & an apology.”

Sean Davis of The Federalist noted:

“Are you referring to foreign spy and dossier author Christopher Steele, who was funded by Hillary and the DNC? Because he worked on behalf of a sanctioned Russian oligarch and colluded with Kremlin officials during the campaign.”

Brit Hume of Fox News also replied:

“This is the last man on earth who ought to be complaining about unfounded and irresponsible claims given his innumerable such claims about Trump and Russia collusion.”

Hume graciously didn't mention Blumenthal's Vietnam war claims.

In February 2017, Fox News outlined Blumenthal’s shady record concerning his Vietnam claims, reporting:

Blumenthal received five deferments, from 1965-1970, before enlisting in the Marine Corps Reserve, though he was never sent out of the U.S. During his six years in the Reserve, Blumenthal was stationed in Washington, focusing on a slew of local projects, such as a Toys for Tots drive. During his political career, however, Blumenthal frequently walked a precarious line, often framing his service just ambiguously enough to give the impression that he had spent time fighting in Vietnam.

“I served during the Vietnam era,” Blumenthal said in 2008. “I remember the taunts, the insults, sometimes even physical abuse.” He told a gathering of families who were expressing support for returning American troops in 2003 that, “when we returned, we saw nothing like this.” Blumenthal, however, crossed the line with stolen valor when speaking to a group of veterans in March 2008: “We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam,” he said.

In May 2017, Blumenthal stated on CNN’s 'New Day':

"What we have now is really a looming constitutional crisis that is deadly serious because there is an investigation ongoing. Ultimately, there may be subpoenas to the President of the United States, just as occurred in 1973 precipitating United States versus Nixon and a similar firing of a special prosecutor. So what's needed now is, in fact, an independent counsel and special prosecutor."

President Trump fired back on Twitter:

"Watching Senator Richard Blumenthal speak of Comey is a joke. ‘Richie’ devised one of the greatest military frauds in U.S. history. For years, as a pol in Connecticut, Blumenthal would talk of his great bravery and conquests in Vietnam — except he was never there. When caught, he cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness, and now he is judge & jury. He should be the one who is investigated for his acts."

Trump tends to speak in exaggerated hyperbole, but he's correct about "Richie." The fact that Blumenthal is a respected mouthpiece for the left should tell you everything you need to know about the left. When you see their mouths move, you know they're lying.

I am a Vietnam war veteran. I am not a Vietnam era veteran because I was stationed in Chu Lai in the U.S. Marine Corps air wing during the war. We flew A4 Skyhawks [some called the little attack jets 'Scooters'] and people out in the jungle were trying to kill us and destroy our jets. Many times they were successful and I was fortunate like most of my buddies. 

In 2010, in his run for Senate, then Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal  lied about serving in Vietnam and he was outed for it.  

For years, Blumenthal often touted his service in "Nam" as a Marine, but it was eventually discovered that not only had the lying sack of dog crap not served in Vietnam, his USMC service was as a Marine Corps Reserve, which, along with college deferments, kept his sorry butt out of Vietnam. Good for him, but he shouldn't have lied about serving in Vietnam--it's what's known as stolen valor.

Then there's Nathan Phillips.

Phillips is the turd who created a controversy over the weekend as he has done before. He and a group of his phony cronies participating in the alleged Indigenous Peoples March walked into the middle of a group of white Catholic high school students wearing MAGA hats who were the target of verbal attack by another protest group known as the Black Hebrew Israelites, a known crazy hate group.

Phillips [aka Chief Spouting Bull] directly approached one of the kids, got in his face, and proceed to bang his tom-tom right in the kid’s face. 

For about two hours, the leftist lunatics and #NeverTrumpers engaged in a slime-fest of hate. 

But the press jumped on the bandwagon after seeing a very brief video showing the kid standing his ground in the MAGA hat and a smile on his face, and then the proverbial crap hit the fan on Twitter, (the Covington High School administration even admonished the kids before knowing the true story) and of course, Kathy "the Beheader" Griffin and others got into the act, some calling for the doxxing of the kids, some for the burning them to death in the school, some for the firing of school staff, and all the rest of the garbage that gets spewed on social media. 

It was a social media lynch mob.

And then there's Phillips. A USMC veteran who claimed to have served as Recon in Nam but instead, never made it there and worked as a refrigeration repairman stateside. But that wasn't a problem to the leftist media who failed to verify his bona fides.

The Omaha World Herald reprinted a profile it ran of Phillips in November 2000: “Now 45, Phillips has been sober for 16 years” . which evidently confirms his age listed in the Post is accurate. There's no way he served in Nam because he would have been born in 1955 and would have been only 16 in 1971 when the Corps was pulling more guys out of Vietnam than placing them there and he would have needed to wait for parental consent to join in 1972, when he claims he joined. 

Junior enlistees were not sent to Nam in the ebbing of the war, but we know now that he never went to war as the media, which he failed to correct, claimed.

Like Richard Blumenthal, Nathan Phillips is a fake, and the media that failed to verify his history totally validates President Trump's statements about them.

I hope that 2019 will be the year you follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint.  Politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.

Blumenthal, the real 'deplorable'

Sen. Richard Blumenthal is pushing back against what he calls "slurs" from President Donald Trump. He said he will not be thrown off from talking about legislation designed to insulate Special Counsel Robert Mueller by these "slurs" being hurled at him on Twitter by POTUS.

Any American with a pulse, a TV or a computer is probably aware that Mueller is overseeing the investigation of Russia's possible meddling in the 2016 presidential election, as well as an expanding web of related activity that may turn out to be criminal.

Blumenthal said:

"There is an ongoing special counsel investigation. It is real. It is based on facts. That is the important issue. That's what really matters [not his lies about serving in Vietnam]. Our national security and the rule of law are at stake. I am not going to be distracted or bullied by these slurs."

It's only a slur if it isn't true, senator.

Trump referred to Blumenthal as a "phony Vietnam con artist!"

Even MSNBC had a problem with Blumenthal as you can see in the video.

Trump tweeted:

 "Never in U.S. history has anyone lied or defrauded voters like Senator Richard Blumenthal."

Then he tweeted:

"He told stories about his Vietnam battles and conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?"

I don't know when Blumenthal actually told those stories that Trump describes in his tweet. I also don't know whether or not he cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness. I find that difficult to imagine and chalk it up to Trump hyperbole.

What I do know is that Trump's staunch supporters will believe every word of his tweets.

Blumenthal responded to Trump during a Monday routine news conference at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, Connecticut. The focus was on his support for legislation that was introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R- S.C.) that would allow for a three judge panel to review any attempt by either the attorney general of the acting AG to fire Mueller.

The problem with this, beside the fact that Lindsey Graham is not a true conservative and has opposed Trump since day one, is that slowly and steadily, the judiciary is becoming increasingly more powerful and is taking away what was supposed to be our checks and balances.

The immigration restrictions by the Trump administration have been successfully challenged in district courts in spite of Trump's constitutional right to have made that call.

Now Graham would be okay taking the right of the Attorney General to intervene on an investigation in which they have the right to oversee.

I'm not advocating for Mueller to be fired. In fact, I don't believe it's a good idea for the administration to do that in light of how the left will go to town on the firing. I'm merely advocating for the right of the government to follow Constitutional laws and procedures and not hand over more power to the courts. 

Finally, in the eyes of actual Vietnam veterans like myself, Blumenthal's attempt at stolen valor is disgusting and reprehensible.

Trump may not have been in the military, but he doesn't lie about it. And he also shows tremendous respect for the military, unlike Obama and perhaps even Blumenthal who has served, but lied about how he served.

If they're not white, it can't be racism. Really?

"Hamilton" cast

"Hamilton," the Broadway musical that won kudos for casting black and Latino performers, is being questioned regarding its hiring practices as they might be in violation of New York City Human Rights Law. 

Specifically, the casting notice clearly seeks "non-white" performers to play the white founding fathers of America. One critic said the musical takes a story that "valorizes dead white guys" and replaces them with black, Latino and multi-ethnic performers to play those roles.

Isn't that similar, in a way, to those people who claim to be war heroes but have never actually served in the military? It's called stolen valor and actual war veterans are appalled by it.

As "Hamilton" plans to expand to other cities, the casting notice calling for "non'white" performers is being questioned by civil rights attorney Randolph McLaughlin.

"What if they put an ad out that said, 'Whites only need apply?'" McLaughlin said. "Why, African-Americans, Latinos, Asians would be outraged."

He believes the ad violates the New York City Human Rights Law making it unlawful "for an employer . . . because of the actual written or perceived . . . race of any person, to discriminate."

"You cannot advertise showing that you have a preference for one racial group over another," McLaughlin said. "As an artistic quiestion, sure, he can cast whomever he wants to cast, but he has to give every actor eligible for the role an opportunity to try."

Even Actors Equity, the Broadway union says, " . . . producers agree that auditions for all productions . . . will be conducted in such a manner as to provide full and fair consideration to actors of all ethnicities."

But Actors Equity approved of the language in the casting notice.

Why?

Because it's only racism when it comes from white people.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to discover that McLaughlin is labeled a racist because of his concerns over the obvious racism of the casting notice.

The show's producter Jeffrey Seller defended the diversity of the "Hamilton" cast and the legality of the "non-white" casting notice. "I stand by it and believe it to be legal," he said, believing that legality equates to morality and ethics.

The city Commission on Human Rights claims it hasn't received a formal complaint about the ad, nor would they say if they're investigating. Probably not since this has nothing to do with which bathrooms people are allowed to use.

According to CBS2, the city has fined restaurants for advertising for "busboys" and "waitresses" rather than using the gender neutral terms "bus help" and "wait staff."

As a New York City male chromosome person, born and bred, I will not be attending "Hamilton." 

Does that make me a racist? If so, please don't tell my wife--she isn't white.

Liar Liar Brian Baby Brian

It's one thing to lie, but it's another thing to lie when covering up the lie. NBC news anchor, Brian Williams apologized on Wednesday evening over his "mistake in recalling the events of 12 years ago," when he claimed the helicopter he was riding in was shot down over Iraq.

The story was broken by Stars & Stripes, the military newspaper. 

But the lie about the lie went like this: "I would not have chosen to make this mistake. I don't know what screwed up in my mind that caused me to conflate one aircraft with another." 

Anyone who has been in an aircraft that has crashed in combat is going to know he was in that bird. There are no doubts, no way he is going to "conflate one aircraft with another." If you were in a helicopter that was shot down, you would know it clearly.

Williams, whose chin goes as far left of center as his political views, first told the lie on the air in 2013. He lied about it again last Friday.

Some of us who served in a war would call such a lie, stolen valor. It's a disgrace and there is no excuse for it.

Williams has lost credibility with many who actually gave him credibility prior to this stolen valor episode. He said that he had misremembered the story and was sorry. He refused to come out and say he lied; he did not misremember not being shot down. You cannot misremember a negative or an absence of an event. He lied.

Last week's lie occurred when he was speaking at a Rangers hockey game, paying tribute to a retired soldier who worked security detail for grounded choppers while Williams was in Iraq in 2003 not being shot down.

Here's what he said: "The story actually started with a terrible moment a dozen years back during the invasion of Iraq when the helicopter we were traveling in was forced down after being hit by an RPG. Our traveling NBC News team was rescued, surrounded and kept alive by an armor mechanized platoon from the U.S. Army 3rd Infantry."

Unfortunately for Williams, the crew of the 159th Aviation Regiment who were on board the Chinook helicopter that was hit by 2 rockets and small arms fired told a different story, telling Stars & Stripes that Brian Williams was nowhere them when they were shot down, nor the two other choppers that took hits.

Williams and his crew arrived west of Baghdad on a different helicopter an hour or so later.

Some of the crew on the Chinook that went down were visibly upset with Williams' lie.

On Facebook, Williams wrote: "I spent much of the weekend thinking I'd gone crazy. I feel terrible about making this mistake, especially since I found my OWN WRITING about the incident from back in '08, and I was indeed on the Chinook behind the bird that took the RPG in the tail housing just above the ramp. . . "
