Self-identified Vietnam hero and US Senator Blumenthal breaks a leg

US Senator and self-proclaimed Vietnam War combat veteran Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), 77, is scheduled to undergo surgery on Easter Sunday after fracturing his femur at the victory parade for the UConn Men's Basketball team on Saturday.

The Huskies won the Men's NCAA Basketball National Championship earlier in the week, causing people who did not play in the game to grab the spotlight along with those who did. In Blumenthal's case, he doesn't only grab spotlights in sporting events, he even tried to grab it in the Vietnam War, which he claimed to fight in, but was later found to be lying.

News 12 Connecticut reported that someone was taking a video of the 77-year-old senator during the parade and fell on top of him which caused the injury.

Blumenthal was said to be in good spirits while speaking to News 12 Connecticut on the phone Saturday night, and told the outlet that his last minute turnaround jump shot was what won the game, so the injury didn't matter to him.

Blumenthal is currently serving in his third term in the United States Senate after being elected in 2011, and after not being a Vietnam War hero as previously believed.

The Huskies defeated San Diego State by a score of 79-56.

Muslim prof. requires students to remove their shoes and praise Allah

A religious Muslim professor at the University of Connecticut required students to praise Allah with an Arabic phrase and remove their shoes before being permitted entry into the office assigned to him by the public university.

Retired biology professor, Felix Coe, placed 2 signs outside his office demanding students say the word "Bismallah," which means in Arabic "in the name of Allah" before entering the office, and they must also remove their shoes because Coe is bat-crap crazy. An article in Campus Reform  spells it out in greater detail.

"I am a Muslim; you don't come in my office with dirty shoes. That's a curse," the lunatic told a student after he told her to "get the hell out" and "I don't want to see you," because she wore shoes in his office. The video clip showing just how this all went down can be found on Jihad Watch, a website that I highly recommend, if you're not aware of it.

When asked by 2 people why he required them to say "Bismallah" and remove their shoes at a public university, his arrogant answer was, "Because I'm a Muslim."

Christian students, particularly Catholics, should have made Coe cross himself after they entered the room, because they are Christian!

Since the video was taken, Coe has retired and the signs demanding non-Muslims pay homage to Islam were also removed from the satellite campus in Hartford, CT., according to UConn spokesperson Stephanie Reitz.

"Regarding this instance, the sign that had directed guests to precede their conversations with a specific Arabic phrase [she didn't want to say what it was, but we know] was immediately removed at the university's direction," Reitz said in a statement. "UConn promptly resolved the issue in a manner that respects the rights of all involved, and affirms the university's values of civility and inclusivity."

Yeah, tell that to Coe. It was only him who violated the rights of non-Muslims and anyone who didn't want to praise his god. He was the person who lacked respect, not the people who came to his door.

He should have been disciplined.

To add even more cover for the anal sphincter, Reitz explained that other rooms are provided, aside from his office space [which belong to the university, not him] at all locations for faculty to meet with students and others.

This is the often the way Islamic extremists think and behave, as if their religion trumps your beliefs about religion.

Bathroom hand dryers blow poop and stuff

A study recently found that bathroom hand dryers are not simply drying your hands after you wash them, they're creating a fertile zone to grow rice and mushrooms. Specifically, they are blowing poop [aka fecal matter] onto your once clean hands, and that makes for good "night soil."

A study at the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!) found hand dryers in both men and women's bathrooms blew crap-laden matter and other disgusting stuff onto hands of the left-leaning students.

The study in the Applied and Environmental Microbiology Journal concluded the hand dryers at 36 bathrooms on the campus blew bacteria and s**t onto the hands of users.

The researchers said they put plates under the dryers for about 30 seconds (they used the term 'about' which makes one wonder just how scientific their methods were) and found "between 18 and 60 different colonies of bacteria on each plate."

"These results indicate that many kinds of bacteria, including potential pathogens and spores, can be deposited on hands exposed to bathroom hand dryers and that spores could be dispersed throughout buildings and deposited on hands by hand dryers," the study revealed.

The scientists reported that it wasn't immediately known what "organisms" are "dispersed by hand dryers" and if "hand dryers provide a reservoir of bacteria or simply blow large amounts of bacterially contaminated air, and whether bacterial spores are deposited on surfaces by hand dryers."
"Aaahhhhh!"

My theory is, the spores and crap are distributed via airborne methods, get sucked into the intakes of the hand dryers, and shoot the s**t and bacteria out when unsuspecting men and women dry their hands. In other words, if you can smell it in the air, then it's going to be in the hand dryer.

The research team noted the hand dryers don't have the HEPA [high-efficiency particulate air] filters that come in most Dyson models. But even if they did, HEPA filters decrease, but don't eliminate what comes from eliminating, if you know what I mean.

According to the researchers, the hand dryers may be "responsible for spreading pathogenic bacteria, including bacterial spores" through the entire building. Researches noted Bacillus subtilis PS533 was discovered in every bathroom they tested, and coincidentally at Public School 533.

According to optimist Peter Setlow, one of the study's authors, the bacteria aren't potentially harmful to humans but it shows how easily the bacteria spread, he told Newsweek.

The bathrooms tested are now offering paper towels, which we may eventually discover causes flatulence.
