Will this be the smoking gun that nails Adam 'Shifty' Schiff?

Well, well, well, look who’s finally caught in the crosshairs of their own sanctimonious web. Adam Schiff, the California Democrat senator who’s made a career out of slinging mud at Donald Trump. The bug-eyed senator is staring down the barrel of a federal investigation. 

This isn’t some tinfoil-hat conspiracy or right-wing fever dream. On Tuesday, Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division dropped a bombshell, flagging 'Shifty' for alleged mortgage fraud. 

A criminal referral’s already been fired off to the Department of Justice, and according to a senior administration official, the Federal Housing Finance Agency is demanding a full probe. If the allegations stick, Schiff could be looking at criminal charges for every single monthly mortgage payment he made with those shady documents. 

This is the same guy who spent years weaponizing the justice system against Trump, chasing him through every legal rabbit hole from Russia to tax returns to who-knows-what. Now, the tables have turned, and Schiff’s the one sweating under the federal spotlight. 

Karma’s got a wicked sense of humor, doesn’t it?

Here’s the deal, and it’s as simple as it is damning. Back in 2023, word got out that Schiff claimed a $1.7 million Maryland home as his "primary residence" on federally-insured loan documents. The purpose of doing this was to snag a sweeter mortgage rate, of course. 

This wasn’t some clerical oopsie or a "my dog ate the paperwork" excuse. It was a calculated lie about where he actually lived. Problem is, Schiff’s been a California politician, representing Burbank since 2003. Last I checked, you can’t hold office in the Golden State while claiming your "primary residence" is in Maryland. That’s not just a whoops, that’s a felony-level face-plant.

Now, you’d think the Biden administration, with its sterling track record of impartiality (sarcasm alert), would’ve jumped on this like a pair of make believe MAGA supporters on Jussie Smollett. But you'd be mistaken because the case vanished faster than a politician's proposition on Epstein Island. 

The same Justice Department that spent years chasing Trump for increasingly unhinged "crimes" couldn’t spare a moment to investigate one of their own party’s favorite attack dogs. But those days of selective justice are over, folks. The free pass expired.

And here’s where it gets deliciously bad for Schiff. A newly unearthed video has surfaced, and it’s the kind of thing that makes defense attorneys break out in hives. 

In the video, Schiff declares, with all the confidence of a man who thinks he’ll never get caught: "But our principal residence, our primary residence, is in California. It always has been, always will be." Oh, Adam. You didn’t just step on the rake, you did a full-on triple backflip onto it.

Let’s break this down. 

Schiff doesn’t just say his primary residence is in California, he doubles down, using both "principal residence" and "primary residence." And then, just to make sure there’s no wiggle room, he adds that it "always has been" in California. 

Here’s the damning thing: this interview happened after he signed those Maryland loan documents. That "always has been" line isn’t just a slip-up; it’s a prosecutorial gift basket wrapped with a bow. If his primary residence was "always" in California, then claiming that Maryland property to score better loan terms wasn’t just a little white lie, it was fraud, plain and simple. No amount of spin can square that circle.

The legal fallout could be catastrophic for Schiff [although I doubt it]. If he lied on those loan documents, he’s not just looking at a slap on the wrist. We’re talking potential federal charges that could make his political career go the way of dial-up internet. 

The irony in all this is that the Democrats, who spent years cheering as the justice system was weaponized against their enemies, are now facing the monster they created. They set the standard: no mercy, no restraint, just relentless lawfare against anyone they don’t like. Well, guess what? That standard’s coming home to roost, and Schiff’s the first in line. Don’t cry foul now, this isn’t revenge; it’s just the law doing what it’s supposed to do. Equal justice doesn’t care about your party affiliation.

This isn’t just about one senator’s shady real estate deals. It’s a litmus test for whether the justice system can finally play fair, no matter who’s in the hot seat. For years, Democrats have skated by, dodging accountability while preaching about "rule of law." Well, the bill’s come due, and Schiff’s mortgage mess might just be the first domino to fall. Get ready, because accountability is knocking, and it’s not here to play nice.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that Schiff is going to spend one minute in prison for his illegal shenanigans, because Republicans don't seem to have the testicular fortitude to put him there. I hope I'm wrong. What do you think? Feel free to comment in the section by the same name.

Wisconsin high court suspends rogue leftist judge who allegedly helped illegal alien evade immigration authorities

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has hoisted Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan from her judicial perch, suspending her amid accusations that she played cloak-and-dagger with a man sought by immigration authorities. 

The FBI, not known for dawdling, swept into the county courthouse on Friday morning, bundling Dugan off to face federal charges. These are no trifling matters: concealing an individual to thwart his arrest and obstructing a proceeding. Grave, indeed and if found guilty, needs to face legal consequences.

The state Supreme Court, with a brisk two-page edict on Tuesday, declared it “in the public interest” to sideline Dugan temporarily, noting the weight of the charges against her. Her attorney, perhaps wisely, has kept quiet for now—no immediate comment, no stirring defense. 

Silence, in such moments, can speak louder than words.

And yet, the Democrats, ever quick to scent a conspiracy, or at best to pretend to, cry foul. 

They accuse the Trump administration of orchestrating a grand plot to “chill the nation’s judiciary.” One might pause here, eyebrow arched, and ask: is this truly a chilling of justice, or merely the law catching up with a judge who, if the charges hold, mistook her gavel for a scepter? Who does she think she is, anyway?

The public, one suspects, will not be so easily swayed by partisan vapors. 

Let's hope that justice is served.

'Catholic'Joy Behar worried a "conservative guy" will succeed Pope Francis

The woke brigade on “The View” is at it again, clutching their pearls over the death of Pope Francis and fretting about the Catholic Church possibly—gasp—veering back to its traditional roots. You know, the Catholic Church kind of roots where killing babies is a sin and Jesus isn't gay.

Joy Behar, never one to miss a chance to flog her progressive dogma, had this to say about the late Pontiff’s passing on Tuesday: “I wonder because there might be a backlash against how good he was and how much humility he had compared to some of the leaders in this world right now, so there might be a backlash to it, and they’ll get some conservative guy in there who, you know, is anti-gay and everything else.”

Pope Francis, the Bishop of Rome and Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church, died Monday morning, according to Vatican camerlengo Cardinal Kevin Farrell. His funeral’s slated for Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Square, where the global elite will no doubt gather to mourn their favorite left-leaning cleric.

Behar’s co-host, the not so Sunny Hostin, chimed in with her own sanctimonious take, pining for a Francis clone to keep the Church on its progressive glide path. She waxed poetic about her personal struggles with Catholicism, citing the Church’s sex scandals and its stance on the LGBTQ+ crowd. 

“I’ve struggled with being a Catholic, but this pope changed things for me,” Hostin said. “I remember I was having this discussion with you, Joy, about how I feel like there’s a crisis of empathy in this country, that unless it happens to you, you can’t feel the empathy of it happening to somebody else. They’re going to deport that person. It’s not going to affect my family, so I don’t care that it’s affecting others.”

Hostin then gushed over a “60 Minutes” interview with Francis, quoting him like he’s the second coming of MLK: “We have to get over our hearts to feel again. We cannot remain indifferent in the face of such human dramas. The globalization of indifference is a very ugly disease.” She tacked on her own predictable two cents, declaring that this “globalization of indifference” is a condition “this country is suffering from.” Cue the violins.

Let’s cut through the sanctimony. Behar and her woke posse on “The View” are terrified that the Church might actually elect a Pope who doesn’t kowtow to their progressive checklist. They loved Francis because he was their guy—a Pontiff who gave a wink and a nod to their agenda while soft-pedaling centuries of doctrine. The thought of a “conservative guy” taking the throne of St. Peter sends them into hysterics, as if orthodoxy is some kind of hate crime. 

Meanwhile, these same champions of “empathy” stay mum about the brutal treatment of gays and women in certain Muslim-majority countries. Funny how their moral outrage has a selective mute button. It reminds me of how the so called rule of law is only legitimate when it comes to applying it to conservatives, but not, for example, to leftist judges who break it.

And then there’s their obsession with open borders, which they dress up as compassion but refuse to square with reality. 

The oxymoronically named Joy and Sunny will lecture you about America’s “crisis of empathy” while ignoring the victims of illegal immigration—folks who’ve paid in blood for the Biden administration’s open-door clusterfrack. They’ll shed crocodile tears for migrants but won’t spare a thought for the citizens murdered, assaulted, or displaced by the chaos their policies enable. 

National security? Rule of law? Those are just inconvenient details to these bleeding hearts. They’re too busy preaching “empathy” to notice the jihadists, drug lords, and human traffickers waltzing through our porous borders when Biden was our alleged POTUS.

The irony is thick. Behar and her ilk cheered Pope Francis for steering the Church toward their woke utopia, where dogma bends to ideology and borders are just lines on a map. Now they’re panicking at the thought of a Pope who might actually believe in, you know, Catholicism. 

Their hypocrisy is as blatant as their blind spots. They demand the Church mirror their politics while ignoring the carnage their ideas unleash. If they want to talk about a “crisis of empathy,” they should look in the mirror, hoping it doesn't crack.

Biden tells women they 'probably shouldn't vote for me' if they believe Tara Reade

Former Vice [no pun intended] President Joe Biden and presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2020 presidential election claims he doesn't remember Tara Reade, his former Senate staffer and barely remembers being a senator. Reade claims that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 and he said that those who believe her should not vote for him.

Biden did not say that those who believe he should release his Senate records that are being held in the University of Delaware to prove his innocence in this matter while he refuses to do so should not vote for him.

He also did not say that people who have seen visual proof that he touches women and girls inappropriately should not vote for him.

Nor did he mention that he has never once been correct on foreign policy when he served under Obama.

And he forgot to mention that people who believe that his obvious mental decline disqualifies him for president should not vote for him, but then again, his mental decline may be the reason he did not mention that little problem.

During an interview with MSNBC's Communist, Lawrence O'Donnell, "Gropey Joe" was asked whether he remembered Tara Reade being on his staff, a question he previously dodged earlier this month when asked by "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski.

"Do you remember Tara Reade who worked there for about a year in 1992-1993?" Comrade O'Donnell asked.

"Well, to be honest with you, I don't," Biden, for the first time in memory said honestly. "But let me get something clear, when a woman makes a claim that she has been harassed or abused, and this claim has changed... she should be taken seriously. She should come forward, share her story, she should be taken seriously and it should be thoroughly vetted. And in every case, what matters is the truth. The truth is what matters. And the truth of the case is nothing like this ever, ever happened... I give you my word. It never, ever happened."

Biden's word is less valuable than a pile of used toilet paper.

In his failed 1988 run for president, he lifted parts of a speech given by a UK Labour MP and Margaret Thatcher challenger, Neil Kinnock. He even used portions of Kinnock's speech during an event at the Iowa State Fair and would
later acknowledge the plagiarism.

Also, according to a 1987 article in The Times, Biden admitted plagiarizing a law review journal for a paper during law school, and begged the school administration not to be expelled. Rather than totally owning up to the plagiarism, he said he made a mistake in the citation process. He also lied about graduating in the top third of his class in law school and that he was a professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Then there's the little lies about visiting Afghanistan to honor a Naval officer who Biden claimed rappelled down a ravine under fire to retrieve the body of a fellow soldier. He claimed this was true, "My word as a Biden." [Remember the used toilet paper mentioned above.] The Washington Post investigated Biden's story and wrote:

… almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect … it appears as though the former vice president has jumbled elements of at least three actual events into one story of bravery, compassion and regret that never happened … The upshot: In the space of three minutes, Biden got the time period, the location, the heroic act, the type of medal, the military branch and the rank of the recipient wrong, as well as his own role in the ceremony.

Biden claimed several times that he had been “arrested” in the 1970s while “trying to see” Nelson Mandela in prison, another claim apparently entirely made up. He also claimed to have co-sponsored the Endangered Species Act, which he didn’t.

And now he wants us to believe him when he claims that he didn't sexually assault Tara Reade and doesn't even remember her.

Back to the interview:

O'Donnell then pointed to an op-ed published in The New York Times, a former newspaper, titled "I Believe Tara Reade. I'm Voting for Joe Biden Anyway." He asked Biden what he would tell women who were "ready" to vote for him but the allegations give them "serious pause" and who believe Reade's allegations.

"Well, I think they should vote their heart and if they believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn't vote for me. I wouldn't vote for me if I believed Tara Reade," Biden told O'Donnell. "The fact is that look at Tara Reade's story. It changes considerably. And I don't want to question her motive, I don't want to question anything other than to say the truth matters. This is being vetted, it's been vetted, [he lied] and people scores of my employees over my whole career. This is just totally, thoroughly, completely out of character. And the idea that in a public place, in a hallway I would assault a woman? I mean, it's just- I- anyway, I promise you. It never happened."

Biden reiterated before continuing the interview, "there is no truth" to Reade's claims.

Perhaps Biden is finally telling the truth, but he still refuses to release records that might exonerate him in this case. The guy has a shaky relationship with the truth and all he needs to do is make his senate records public.

But even if Reade is lying, the one good thing that comes out of this situation is the exposure of the blatant hypocrisy of the left.

Now the left is calling for the rule of law. What a laugh.

Outgoing Loser McCaskill gets it half right

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) lost her re-election shot in the midterm elections in November, and doesn't have the ability to understand, at least in part, as to why she lost.

She blames her loss on how her party tried to destroy Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's life over bull crap accusations, not one of which was corroborated, on sexual assault.

She doesn't see her own role in the hearing as to why normal people were disgusted with the Democrats.


"I don't think my vote [against Kavanaugh] hurt me as much as the spectacle that occurred," McCaskill told NPR host Rachel Martin last week.

The very fact that she didn't have the courage to vote against her party is why she lost her seat. There was no evidence but still she was ready to condemn a man to a ruined career.

"There were mistakes made by my party in terms of how that was handled. I don't think that communication [from Christine Ford] to the judiciary committee should have been kept private as long as it was. The FBI deals with a lot of confidential information, and that would have absolved [judiciary committee ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein] of the very real perception that this was an 11th-hour attempt to gut a guy."

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) received the allegations from Ford on July 30, 2018 – nearly a month after Kavanaugh had been nominated and before his confirmation hearings. Feinstein didn't share the letter with fellow liberals and didn't bring it, or its contents up, during the confirmation hearings. It wasn’t until the letter was leaked to certain members of the press that Feinstein acknowledged its existence. 

It was a plan to "gut a guy," as McCaskill said, and still, she voted against his confirmation.

Kavanaugh's name was dragged through the mud over empty allegations that had no evidence to back them up. In fact, there is more evidence that points to the allegations being mistaken or flat out untrue.

But let us not forget that McCaskill paved the way for these types of accusations with her support of the Obama administration’s war on due process, something that all accused deserve. She is the freaking Queen of the "Believe Women" movement that insists due process is an impediment to justice.

It is truly excellent that she lost the election. She deserves to be put out to pasture in the field of politics. The American voters who refused to cast their trust in her have everything to be proud of because, by their vote, they support due process and our rule of law.

Now Missouri has Josh Hawley waiting to be seated in the U.S. Senate. I don't know much about him [and I plan to learn] but he has to be better than someone who has no regard for ethics, law and decency.
