Six killed, over 30 wounded by Hezbollah attack: IDF wants to know why rocket wasn't destroyed

At least six people were killed and over 30 were injured in a Hezbollah rocket attack on Majdal Shams in the northern Golan Heights this evening. The death toll is expected to increase since at least three of the wounded are in critical condition.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) believe that the rocket which hit the soccer field, where children were playing, was particularly heavy. The military is currently investigating why they were unable to intercept the projectile.

Senior IDF officials are holding urgent meetings to evaluate the situation. This attack is the deadliest by Hezbollah amid the ongoing clashes on the northern border. They will decide on an appropriate response against the militant group.

Rockets target US embassy in Baghdad

No less than four rockets targeted the US embassy in Baghdad on Thursday in what is known as the Green Zone.

The rockets were launched from the Dora neighborhood and targeted the embassy. Three hit a nearby building and another hit a nearby school ABC News reported, citing two anonymous Iraqi security officials.

A woman and a young girl were injured in the strikes, but no further information was available about their conditions.

A spokesperson for the embassy told the news outlet that it had been targeted by “terrorists groups attempting to undermine Iraq’s security, sovereignty, and international relations.”

This latest attack is just one in a string of military strikes against our military as just last Thursday, a military base in Iraq that houses US troops was also targeted by rocket fire.

Iraqi Shi'ites have vowed revenge on US forces in Iraq because former President Donald Trump had a top terrorist military officer, Qasem Soleimani, blown away in 2020, along with a few of his sidekicks. The two-year death anniversary just passed us by a few days ago and we forgot to celebrate.

May he rest in pieces.

Top Hamas Commander: may he rest in pieces

Al Sharuk Tower

When you fire 1200 rockets at a country you had better expect that country to return fire, even though you would simply like them to take it on the chin. Sorry Hamas and CNN, Israel isn't going to lie down dead.

The top scumcrumpet of Hamas, the head Hamasshole Bassem Issa [no relation to Darrell] got his bell rung one last time and he went down for the ultimate count as Israeli jets obliterated his high-rise office on the Gaza Strip.

We don't know if he was engaged in planning strikes on Israel or playing Solitaire, but Israel released the hounds of war with shock and awe and now Issa is resting in pieces in a little town called Hell. [H/T Fox News]

Fox News reported that Issa was blown to little bite-size pieces by an Israeli aircraft in a series of airstrikes defending the Jewish State after Hamas launched Iranian-sponsored rockets at them.

The strikes also killed other very important Hamas terrorist honchos, including the head of rocket development and the head of rocket production. You know what they say: "Live by the rocket; die by the rocket."

These now dead crap weasels most likely played a leading role in the horrific onslaught of missiles Hamas began at the start of this week. Now their terrorist program will suffer for now, but perhaps CNN or MSNBC can advertise for them and find another anti-Semitic death expert. [Rashida Tlaib is unavailable.]

Israeli jets leveled Al Sharuk tower, a high-rise that housed Hamas officers and several unrelated commercial businesses. And due to the fact that not all residents of the building were actively involved in trying to kill as many Jews as Allah would allow, Israel sent a warning to those civilians in the tower to make book and get out of Dodge.

Nobody was injured in the collapse of the tower because unlike Hamas and Hezbollah, Israel goes to extreme measures to minimize civilian casualties. However, it's highly probable that there was plenty of material damage to Hamas' equipment and files.

Video of the building’s collapse shows how easily it crumpled to the ground after being pummeled by precision bombs.

Israel's Iron Dome defense system intercepted about 90 percent of the rockets fired upon them by Hamas from civilian areas in Gaza, but still, due to the sheer number that were launched, 10 percent got through and struck Israel.

However, some 200 rockets actually landed in Gaza killing a number of surprised Palestinians.

Hopefully, the Israeli airstrikes have taken a large toll from Hamas' leadership and perhaps dissuaded them to stop the fighting.

Israeli Defense Forces provide Hamassholes with gift of 130 military strikes

To the chagrin of those who would like to see the annihilation of the Jewish state, including Hamas, Fatah, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, to name a few, Israel will no longer march in step to the showers, if you know what I mean.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded to Palestinian terrorists after they fired hundreds of rockets inside Israel.

“According to the Israel Defense Forces, over 200 rockets and mortar shells were fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel from 6 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday, dozens of which were intercepted by Iron Dome missile defense batteries,” The Times Of Israel reported. “The military said the Iron Dome had a successful interception rate of over 90 percent of projectiles heading toward populated areas.”

But some got through the Iron Dome defenses as several rockets hit civilian targets in Israel, injuring dozens, with some early estimates putting the number as high as 31.

IDF Spokesperson Hidai Zilberman said that about a third of the rockets fired from inside Gaza ended up landing inside Gaza, a situation known by the military as a Fubar or a clusterf**k.

The IDF released the following statement about their military operations:
Overnight, in response to continuous rocket fire from the Gaza Strip at Israeli territory, the IDF struck over 130 terror targets belonging to terror organizations in the Gaza Strip. In the first and second stages of the strikes, IDF fighter jets, attack helicopters and aircraft struck weapons manufacturing sites belonging to the Hamas terror organization. In the third stage, targets belonging to the Hamas terror organization and the Islamic Jihad were struck, including: weapons manufacturing sites and military facilities belonging to the Hamas terror organization and the Islamic Jihad. A Hamas battalion commander was also targeted.

In addition, as part of the strikes over the past day, the IDF struck a military intelligence building belonging to the Hamas terror organization, along with approximately 15 operatives of the organization. Likewise, IDF tanks and aircraft struck additional terror targets, among them: two offensive terror tunnels adjacent to the security fence. The Hamas terror organization deliberately places military targets in the heart of densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip. The IDF takes precautions to avoid harming civilians as much as possible during its operational activities.
The IDF’s strikes against terrorist targets were posted on Twitter, to the chagrin of Jack Dorsey:

Truzman writes for the Long War Journal.

Local governments within 25 miles of the Gaza Strip were ordered to close schools and ban large public gatherings and numerous cities opened public bomb shelters, in the spirit of Dr. Anthony Fauci, but for better reasons.

“The Hamas terror organization [aka "Fightin' Hamassholes"] is responsible for all events transpiring in the Gaza Strip and emanating from it, and will bear the consequences for terror activity against Israeli civilians,” the IDF added. “At this time, approximately 200 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli territory, dozens of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome Aerial Defense System.”

“The terrorist organizations in Gaza crossed a red line and attacked us with missiles at the entrances to Jerusalem. Israel will respond with great force,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised. “We did not want to escalate, but those who chose to escalate will be hit forcefully.”

But somehow, some morons in the Democratic Party, like Omar, or Tlaib, or Pressley, or Alexandria Obviously-Commie are going to blame Israel even when they respond to attacks on their soil.

It looks like someone in Gaza did something and those Jews, you know how they are, did something back.

May the United States of America and Israel live on!

Scores of rockets fired at Israel from Gaza while protests continue in Jerusalem

In all, there have been more than 40 rockets fired at Israel from Gaza in recent days as protests over Ramadan restrictions continue. It's a veritable Ramadan Bombathon. The photo above captures Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system shooting down the incoming rockets.

The rockets come as Ramadan restrictions have continued in the Old City of Jerusalem and a West Bank checkpoint. Palestinians are upset mostly because it all began on a day ending in "day."

The attempted killing of civilian Jews is endorsed by the Hamassholes, a terrorist group that basically governs Gaza. In a statement reported by the Times of Israel, the Hamassholes told a smaller terror groups to “keep their fingers on the trigger.”

The groups state the rocket fire is in response to unrest in Jerusalem that involves Palestinian protesters, far-right Jewish protesters and cops. Hundreds of the Jewish protesters marched on the Old City where they clashed with Palestinian protesters and police, which created violence, arrests and serious injuries.

Ten Palestinians were arrested in a small protest at the site on Saturday night, according to Haaretz, a leftist and basically secular newspaper. There was also a protest at the Qalandiya checkpoint in the West Bank.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for calm on both sides.

Iran and its allies tap US on the shoulder with rocket strikes

It may be that Iran is testing the Biden administration to see how it will react to a rocket strike on US targets by Iran factions are putting the pressure on the Iraqi government while Iran looks to obtain leverage over Biden and his people.

Analysts and Iraq officials say the resumption of attacks after four months of relative calm shows that Iran and its Iraqi allies are now abandoning de-escalation and seeking leverage over their rivals.

Will President Biden refrain from calling a lid and actually respond to the bellicosity of Khamenei, or will he just chalk it up to a difference in religious culture and look the other way?

On Monday, two rockets hit near the US embassy in Baghdad, days after a volley hit an airbase further north where a US military contractor is maintaining F-16 fighter-jets purchased from Washington.

Biden and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi spoke Tuesday by phone about this week’s rocket strikes and agreed that those responsible “must be held fully to account,” the White House said. Just what the consequences Iran will face is anybody's guess, but it probably won't be too harsh.

Rockets also rained down on a military complex in the Kurdish region’s capital, Arbil, on February 15. One civilian and a foreign contractor working with US-led troops were killed.

The incidents were consistent with the dozens of attacks last year, which usually involved a score of 107mm rockets fired from a truck, security officials said. Security forces are scouring the region to locate that truck and destroy it.

This year, the pro-Iran groups typically responsible for these type of attacks – including Kataeb Hezbollah and Asaib Ahl al-Haq – have been quick to condemn the strikes, but few believe their balderdash.

“All indications are it’s the same style of attacks,” said the US military official, speaking on condition of anonymity to avoid being doxed by the left. “And intelligence shared with us says there are more to come.”

The rocket attacks might be sending a message from Tehran to Washington, and the Biden administration which is offering to revive the crappy Iranian nuclear deal which was finally ended by former President Trump in 2018.

Iran is demanding Washington lift sanctions immediately, while the US wants Iran to move first by returning to all its nuclear commitments, even if there is no real transparency to check on whether or not they're complying. After all, it's more important to get the optics right, than the compliance.

A prescient indicator of what Iran is thinking is the tough tone they struck this week by not allowing some of their nuclear sites to be inspected and warning that it could, if they wish, step up further uranium enrichment.

If that doesn't smell like a pair of Sandra Fluke's skivvies, then you need a new nose.

"Proportional" Iran response to our "proportional" U.S. response

A number of rockets fired by Iranian-backed militia hit Camp Taji, a base housing U.S. troops and other coalition forces. It was their response to our "proportional" response to their initial rocket attack. Tit-for-tat.

There is no immediate word on casualties or damage as the beat goes on and on and on.

An official speaking to the media said more than a dozen rockets hit inside the base and some struck coalition living quarters and others hit a runway used by Iraqi forces.

Most attacks by Iranian-backed forces occur at night but this one was during daylight hours.

The initial attack on Camp Taji was on Wednesday night and this was met with a "proportional" response from the U.S. on weapons facilities belonging to Kataib Hezbollah, the scum-weasels thought to be responsible.

So they attempted to kill troops and we responded by attempting to break their war toys. Brilliant.
Camp Taji
As it turned out, however, Iraq's military said the strikes killed five security forces and a civilian who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So here we go again as Iran-backed Shi'ite jihadi groups promised to exact revenge for our exacting revenge on Friday's U.S. strikes. I blogged about how stupid this kind of response is here.

Wednesday's attack by Kataib Hezbollah was the deadliest to target U.S. troops in Iraq since a late December rocket attack on an Iraqi base.

It's time we send a clear message and cut the crap. When a bully punches you in the face, respond with shock and awe and stop exchanging punches because it will never stop.

End it.

Rockets fired on Iraqi airbase: 4 Iraqis wounded

Four servicemen were injured Sunday after 6 rockets targeted Balad Air Base north of Baghdad. American trainers had been on that base until recently, Iraqi officials said.

Some of the rockets fell on a restaurant inside the base, located some 50 miles north of Baghdad, the officials added. No Iranian group immediately claimed responsibility but Iraq is positive that the rockets did not come from Israel.

There were no Americans on the air base at the time of the attack.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted:
“Outraged by reports of another rocket attack on an Iraqi airbase,” he tweeted. “I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and call on the government of Iraq to hold those responsible for these attacks accountable.”
In a second tweet he added:
“These continued violations of Iraq’s sovereignty by groups not loyal to the Iraqi government must end.”
Technically, if the rockets came from another country, this would be considered an act of war. The attack came just several days after Iran fired ballistic missiles at Iraqi air bases Ain al-Asad and Irbil in response to the U.S. killing of Iranian terrorist and scumcrumpet extraordinaire, Cassem Soleimani.
Democrat or Republican? You make the call
Previously, Balad Air Base hosted American trainers, advisers and a company providing maintenance services for F-16 aircraft.

These limited strikes by Iran appear to be a show of bravado after we blew away their head terrorist, much to the sadness of the U.S. Democratic Party.

Currently, Soleimani's comely daughter is calling for revenge for the smithereening of her father.

Hamassholes fire rockets at Israel, IDF strikes their facilities in Gaza

Photo: Journeyman Pictures/YouTube
Israel's Iron Dome killed two rockets heading its way into Israel to do as much random killing as possible. But a third rocket fell and caused damage to a building in the Shaar Hanegev region, on the border of Gaza, The Times of Israel reported.

So Israel fought back with planes and tanks, striking two Hamas facilities in the northern Gaza Strip.

The last rocket attack at Israel perpetrated by the Palestinians was on December 18, after two weeks of rocket attacks earlier this month.
Oron Shaul

Although Hamas facilities were targeted, most of the recent rocket attacks were probably launched by other anti-Zionist (read 'anti-Semitic') Gaza-based terrorist groups. But Hamas maintains total military and political control over Gaza and has refused to stop their attacks, so Israel has every right and reason to target the Hamassholes.

At the time of the latest attack a commemoration honoring Staff Sgt. Oron Shaul, who was killed in 2014, was taking place and was interrupted by the "Code Red" alert for the rockets. An army official was asked if the attack was intentional and responded that it "absolutely could be" the case.

The military censor didn't allow the exact location of the strike to be published as it could help terror groups to fine-tune their targeting for future attacks. However the launchers were also directed toward the area where the ceremony was being held at Kibbutz Kfar Aza, overlooking the area where Shaul was killed. The time and location of the event were published beforehand.

Usually rockets from Gaza are launched at night while the Israeli children and their parents are asleep and make easy targets.
