No less than four rockets targeted the US embassy in Baghdad on Thursday in what is known as the Green Zone.
The rockets were launched from the Dora neighborhood and targeted the embassy. Three hit a nearby building and another hit a nearby school ABC News reported, citing two anonymous Iraqi security officials.
A woman and a young girl were injured in the strikes, but no further information was available about their conditions.
A spokesperson for the embassy told the news outlet that it had been targeted by “terrorists groups attempting to undermine Iraq’s security, sovereignty, and international relations.”
This latest attack is just one in a string of military strikes against our military as just last Thursday, a military base in Iraq that houses US troops was also targeted by rocket fire.

Iraqi Shi'ites have vowed revenge on US forces in Iraq because former President Donald Trump had a top terrorist military officer, Qasem Soleimani, blown away in 2020, along with a few of his sidekicks. The two-year death anniversary just passed us by a few days ago and we forgot to celebrate.
